Are you using python OpenCL (poclbm) in guiminer? If so, this problem has been happening for everyone in the last few days. See https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1334.msg732164#msg732164Basically it shows that you are mining but the shares are not being submitted. Anyway, the fix is coming up in Windows so just switch to Phoenix in guiminer or get cgminer for the time being. If you need direction for switching to phoenix, which is what I'm doing now, just ask. Not really worth the 3 BTC to be honest but if you still want to send, I won't complain. EDIT: BTW, I've also heard that using the older guiminer version works but have not tried this. Hey homeboy....all is copacetic now that I dropped back to the old GUIminer. Want your bounty sent to the address in your signature line?

So what's the deal? You guys have your units yet? Tracking info? Shipping date, even?
Goddamn...apparently, their assembly ninja is slow as fuck.
The silence is rather deafening.

Hi all,
I have a workstation with a single 5850, that hashes around 350 MH/s. Has worked wonderfully for months, without the slightest hitch.
However, starting over the weekend the miner shows as offline at my pool, and no shares are being submitted. GUIminer still shows the card hashing away, and CCC shows the GPU at 99% usage. Unfortunately, GUIminer also shows 0 shares submitted.
Any ideas?
I am running 11.9 with win 7 pro 64bit.
If someone can help me find a solution, I will give them 3 BTC.

I am really, REALLY glad I spent my cash on a bunch of 5970's back in November rather than throw down for a bunch of the bitforce. Those cards are now nearly paid for. Much better choice, it retrospect.

Are these the same cards as in your other thread ? these ones seem to be 2BTC cheaper in the OP, compared to the other 8 cards.
Again, I will offer $200 USD/Card.
Unfortunately, My $200 USD/card offer also depends on you showing an authentic proof of purchase, for warranty purposes.
You can't expect to get top dollar from a bunch of 2nd, 3rd or 4th-hand cards that you were never the original purchaser of, as the buyers will get ZERO WARRANTY.
I am not aware of any ATI/AMD Chipset Video Cards that have a 2nd or 3rd owner transferable warranty program, such as some Nvidia Card Manufacturers.
I would just hate to spend $200 on a card that died in a week, only to realize that I can never get warranty support for it and be forced to turn it into a paper-weight.
If you could go ahead and post that info, or at least have it ready for the purchase, I would greatly appreciate it.
When will you have the cards ready to ship ?
All 10 are sold. Just wanted to re-iterate that you get nothing.

The prices are per card, FYI.
Really? You think $120 for a direct CU 5850 is a bad deal? (I am excluding the shipping cost) $200 for a 6950 flashed to 6970 is too much when they are selling on Ebay for upwards of $230?

I am too lazy at the moment, but someone should do the exact math on how much return on investment has been sacrificed by a pre-order customer. Ostensibly they could have taken the $600 bucks and purchased actually available products and earned a decent return by now.
Whats the most hashing power someone can aquire for $600 bucks?
I will start.... Used mobo/CPU combo: $100 RAM: $20 Linux run from USB: $10 decent PSU: $80 Used 5970: $325-350 Used 5770: $65
So, they could have aquired 900 MH/s, and given the low difficulty during December, I figure they could have mined 22 BTC per month. That is 88 BTC over the time since pre-orders began.
That is one HELL of an opportunity cost.

People are paying $480??? Or were these sold when bitcoins were at $5.25? I'd consider $400.
I wish I had picked up that used one that sold for $325 on eBay.... =/
You are right. I need to adjust my BTC price to take into account the price change. Thanks!

I have brought my brother, a graphic designer and web developer, on as a partner in the business and there are big changes coming.
As such, Spend Bitcoins will be down for one week for renovations from 0300 UTC 04 February 2012. When it relaunches at 0300 UTC 11 February 2012 it will be a much prettier site which is much easier to navigate and use. As I have not had a single day off since the original launch last May, I will be unreachable during this week, but will answer all emails ASAP after relaunch.
In the weeks following the relaunch, we will be rolling out features that allow you to spend bitcoins on sites that don't accept them without even coming to our site. We hope to make bitcoins just as easy (if not easier) to spend as any other payment method all over the web.
This is great to hear. Sad you will be down for a week, but the improvements sound awesome. Jeremy has been the most reliable BTC related business person I have yet run across.
