1721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 23, 2022, 02:01:47 PM
As expected, SMC and MVP teams are again in the playoffs and the 2 independent teams who managed to get in the playoffs are Converge who got their first playoff appearance in their debut season and Blackwater Bossing who are having a better season after having a 29 game losing streak.

Since SMC and MVP take the top 4th spot, it's fortunate for them that their teams will not meet early in the quarterfinals. I hope for the other way around to make these teams perform the Sagip Kapamilya moment lol. I trust those below-tier teams will do their best to upset these teams owned by the giants.

I feel a waste of series that Ginebra and Meralco will face each other early.

Unusual to see other teams aside from SMC and MVP competing in the Finals. Who knows this conference, we can see a change although, for me, the chance is just below my expectations. Again, who knows.
1722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it profitable to hedge/cashout bets before end of sport event? on: July 23, 2022, 01:55:26 PM
Well, if the team you bet on.... is starting to lose.. then it is profitable if you "cashout" before the game ends, because you would have lost everything if they have lost.

I'm not sure about other sites or other sports matches as well, but I think that when your bet is about to lose, it's impossible to make a cashout.

I mean, why gambling sites should do that as they almost claimed your bet amount. The cashout feature will just be opened or available when the match is somehow close or your bet is quite advancing. Don't also expect a profit when you do that in most cases.

For me, it's better to just go straight until the end and wait for the final results. What if you won, that's more regretful.
1723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If There's No Casino Signature Will The Gambling Board Still Be The Same on: July 23, 2022, 01:50:20 PM

Obviously, the comparison does have a big difference since there is a mandatory post that needed to be posted here.

However, it doesn't mean that this section will be silent as gambling have a big community in any forum. And the fact that this is the biggest gambling discussion forum "related to crypto", there's no other place that crypto-gamblers will lurk aside from here.

Almost all forums with gambling sections that already established a good number of viewers will always be visited no matter what.

Again, this is a crypto-forum. That's what makes it different, unique, and special compare to other gambling forums.
1724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking to start an online casino on: July 22, 2022, 11:52:13 PM
Hey guys!

So I am interested in starting an online bitcoin casino, yet i have no idea how to start from.
I have a background in coding, and I know the in and outs of integrating crypto, yet i have zero game development skills, and i have no idea how much it will cost, and will it even get users.
Any help would be well appreciated! and looking for partners if anyone wants to start that.

Thank you!

I don't want to give another bad approach even though we are just saying real facts here. It's hard to deal with a business with something you really didn't know.

I also doubt casino operators here will reply to give you the specific information you are asking for.

For a start maybe you can make a thread here: Project Development

You might encounter lurkers that want your idea. Just be careful though.
1725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: taking out a loan for a sports bet (UPDATE) + fixed match on: July 22, 2022, 11:49:12 PM
Next time OP, don't ask the people here about what to do. If you trust your fixed match information then go for it.

If you take a loan, it's not our problem anymore. I don't like the way you said that it seems if you only didn't listen to us, you should bag more of a profit.

And if I remember it right, the amount you are asking for a loan is somehow decent. I don't even think you will be qualified for that amount. Smiley
1726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Telegram Group and new investment plattform on: July 22, 2022, 11:46:46 PM
Telegram for me is a factor where you should be very careful, in fact, sometimes many scammers use bots to try to harm people, that is why any suspicious attitude through telegram should be denounced and reported, that's why when groups are formed and tend to give positive things, such as improving trading, giving free signals, it is not something to trust,

In that cases, I can't really put blame on the platform or those chillers that promoting a scam site.

If only most users use their common sense and are not deceived by those unrealistic offers, the scam cases should be minimized by now.

People want easy money and that's a wrong mindset. Not that I'm bad at them but for me, it's good that they experienced scam things for them to learn the lesson.
1727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some Tips To Aide Successful Sports Betting. on: July 22, 2022, 11:43:02 PM
As long as that newbie is really interested in doing sports betting, they will eventually learn in the process some of the best ways to do it.

Most sports bettors I believed didn't even bother to learn the basics but since we all have "common sense" and the ability to familiarize everything, we learn those later on. Actually, it's quite easy for newbies to learn the basics of using the website and placing bets.

Priority should be:
- they do research on the website's reputation
- familiarize with the interface
- reading the TOS (at least)
- learn how to deposit
- and the most important part, just place a bet on matches that the user is comfortable with

But I don't like to put on newbie's mindset that there are tips on successful sports betting. What's the real meaning of "success" here.

The goal is to maintain winning stats as much as possible.
1728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 21, 2022, 11:59:11 PM
Spence clearly said that he's going to move and have a fight with Crawford for the undisputed title but that doesn't mean that Spence is in a hurry or he's excited about it. Crawford on the other hand is trying to get the fight this year that's why he's giving a constant update to the boxing world to get the fans informed that Spence has yet that determined to get an early fight.

Either way, if the fight will happen this year or next year, one thing is for sure, both boxers' next fight is between just the two of them. I don't care for delays (but shouldn't be too long) or what but as long as no other opponents are on their way, that should be worth waiting.

Still, there's not much difference if the fight will happen this year or next. Surely, they won't take a break for 2 years so no excuse next year.

That period of delay should be worth waiting for. I just hope that the next official news will be that the fight is now pushed and not the other way around which is canceled and won't happen anymore. That's disappointing news to the whole boxing community.
1729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Asia Cup 2022 (Japan vs Philippines) on: July 21, 2022, 11:54:06 PM
Honestly I really want to support the Gilas but there current roster is not on competitive level

The current roster is good and should be able to compete in Asian Basketball but their potential is not fully utilized because of poor coaching.

Coach Chot uses the system back in the former Gilas he used to handle which is not effective now to young cores. He is not also good at rotating players because, in the first place, he really didn't know their respective roles.

The same roster was handled by Coach Tab in the qualifiers but they shock the world with that young lineup.

What's the problem now? Players or Coach? The answer is obvious. Smiley
1730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 20, 2022, 11:59:13 PM

With Rain-Or-Shine losing their final elimination game against the Magnolia,  they were now out of the playoffs together with Phoenix FuelMasters, Northport Batang Pier, and Terrafirma DYIP. It's unusual to see teams like ROS and Phoenix that is being out of the eliminations.

Amazing rally by the Converge as they will enter the quarterfinals on their conference debut. Aside from that, BlackWater too which achieved the longest losing streak in the history of the league will also joined the quarterfinals since the 2019 Commissioners Cup.

I hope one of these teams will enter the Semis for at least a change of view. That's a big surprise.
1731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling on Psychology & Sociology Perspectives. on: July 20, 2022, 11:51:11 PM
I am interested in making this topic because the debate between gambling for money or entertainment is still very long, now I add that some people gamble to practice skills and also because it has become their culture (like the Chinese people)

I think no need to discuss it. I mean I don't know why should we go deep on this.

My question is, is that really a debatable thing why people are gambling be it for money and entertainment? We have different approaches to gambling and we can't apply it to everyone. Why it should be argued? If I do gambling because of money then I don't care for the purpose of others. That's out of our concern already.

If we gamble, we don't need to go technical on other things. I don't even see this as a help to become a better gambler.
1732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 20, 2022, 11:43:04 PM
Yeah no clue why it hasn't come together at this point.  This is the fight not just us want to see but the boxing world wants to see.  Best versus the best right.  They can argue about purse until they are blue in the face but it seems there is more holding this up than just purse.

The concern related to purses etc. shouldn't be a big deal if that's the only thing they are addressing.

I believed too that there are other issues they are dealing with and not just the purse. I don't have any idea what are those though but I hope everything will be official now. Maybe they can also share with us those "problems" that makes the fight hanging until now.

Let's give this month for us to wait. We should expect to have an announcement by next month, August.
1733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 20, 2022, 11:39:02 PM
https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/34273332/sources-james-harden-philadelphia-76ers-agree-two-year-686-million-deal

It's official Harden inked for another 2 years restructuring his contract.  He has made his dough and people saying he is sacrificing for the team, didn't he only have 1 year left anyway so now he locks in for 2 more years with the sixers.  I get it he lowered his per year but avoids dealing with free agency and still banking 66 mil over 2 years.  All the while staying in his preferred city.

A good move though since after all, changing teams won't help him at this point. He already build a good relationship with the Sixers within just a short time and that's a good sign that he is really fit for the team.

After all, the Sixers don't have any reliable point guard at this point that's why keeping Harden is the best move they do so far this off-season.

But they shouldn't stop on that as it's been several seasons already where they always ended up in the failed rally. Joel Embiid's "trust the process" program doesn't show yet any good improvements for years even though he is having monster stats every season.

What's the problem? Consistent and reliable teammates.
1734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This clearly damage the gambling. on: July 20, 2022, 11:29:56 PM
And those gamblers who know about this situation won't just stop sports betting but it clearly visualized how sports betting is not the right place to gamble. This it ruins everything, trust, and reputation of the football fed as they allow this kind of game.

Disagree with your thoughts. It won't ruin everything since there are lots of big football leagues around.

That tiny dirt can't bring the whole sports betting down and it's hard to imagine that way. The league involved in the fixed match is the thing that ruined and they just destroy the trust of the people and their reputation.

That fixed match happened will result in that involved league having a bad effect on their overall betting market and if that happened, there's a possibility that all matches there will not be listed now by all sportsbooks which is a good move if that's happened.
1735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Fengshui on: July 18, 2022, 11:49:13 PM
I'm not an expert on Fengshui, but if a casino is really arranged by the laws of Fengshui, wouldn't all the gamblers playing in that casino become lucky.

Actually, most casinos themselves are designed and associated with feng-shui from layouts, design, and something along those lines.

Not just casinos but other establishments as well are associating feng-shui when they are doing layouts and crafts on what the establishment should look like. Try to ask an engineer and talk about feng-shui.

About your thinking that if luck really arranged by the law of Feng-shui, you are taking things seriously and too much. I

t's just for people's preferences and they actually don't expect to always win. It's just guidance and somehow a better practice not to take gambling that easy and simple. Much better to leave it that way.
1736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 18, 2022, 11:43:47 PM

Nothing to worry about if Japan is scouting our talents. Remember that not all will have the privilege and chances to play in their B-League.

Overall, how many players in the PBA decided to play in Japan? The numbers aren't that alarming and these scouts are only focused on few players.

They are also scouting in other countries, not just in the Philippines.

There's also a mindset to some players that if they will decide to play overseas, "that's not a long-term contract". Plus the fact that these players have to be "consistent" in showing good performance or else the team won't sign them an extension. The pressure is really heavy unlike playing comfortably in the PBA where they used to.
1737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 18, 2022, 11:37:02 PM
Even if he do decent numbers still the credit will be on Lebron or Davis so its no used for him to stay at a place where people hate him it will just give him huge pressure and that can affect his gameplay so he really needs to go out on lakers so that he can rebuild his self because if he stay on Lakers for sure nothing will happen to him.

I think it's about people's standards. Regardless of what team will sign Russell Westbrook next season, there will always be hate on this person. Remember when he was shipped to Washington Wizards? Should now be a peaceful environment, at least, but many people or should I say "haters" still keep an eye on him and even considered him as a hindrance for Bradly Beal to carry the team.

Does Westbrook need to rebuild? At this point of his career? No need for it but just do his thing to help the team "consistently".

Going back to his prime days is not that easy to do. There will be really a time that a player will show signs of slowing down in their post-prime period.

Even if he do decent numbers still the credit will be on Lebron or Davis

If these happened already on the actual game? When?

Is this only speculation? Not make sense.
1738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: July 18, 2022, 11:28:46 PM
this may be the last hurrah for GGG, so people are on his side this time. this will be a very interesting fight indeed! wonder what will be the next move if GGG will win on this one. will Canelo ask for another fight?

I'm not sure for other people but for me, yes. Just being biased for GGG since might be the last time we will see him in the ring in case he will lose this fight even in an unfair decision. Canelo on the other hand still has lots of time to enjoy his prime even though he will lose this match.

For let's say GGG will win here, obviously he will still have more fights as if he is able to defeat the prime Canelo then it means he can still dominate even at that age. I don't see him retiring if he knows to himself that he still has it. Defeating Canelo in his prime within his comfort zone is very tough.

A 4th match is also possible regardless of the result. The same on what happened to the Pacquiao-Marquez saga (Draw-Pacman-Pacman-Marquez).
1739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This clearly damage the gambling. on: July 18, 2022, 11:09:27 PM
I don't think that its only in the lower leagues, despite sportsbook lower limit settings and fewer markets for less popular leagues. I think that there are other systems in play which are different than in the lower leagues because it would not work for the bigger ones. And if thats true then the systems would be more incognito, more anonymous more shrouded and completely made oblivious because there are many more eyes watching.

Regardless of that technical analysis of yours, do you really think that someone or some teams in the higher leagues will risk their respective career and reputation just to receive money thru a fixed match? If proven true, there are heavy sanctions and possibly be thrown out and banned from that league forever if they will attempt to make the game rigged.

The risks are not worth there as the consequences are too big.

I also doubt it's easy to decide for these players or teams to agree to do it.

Not saying that fixed matches won't happen in big leagues but safe to assume that the cases are just isolated ones and can't be generalized as a big case and issue in higher leagues. I know there are lots of controversies involving higher leagues "before" but some actions are already made. I also can't compare the situation before to the current one.
1740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game Theory Optimal (GTO) vs Exploitative play on: July 18, 2022, 10:58:45 PM
  • Which of these is your favourite strategy?
  • And which of these strategies works best in an online casino?
  • What are the other poker strategies that are as good as GTO or Exploitative play or even better?

- There should be no favorite strategy as in every session, players will face different scenarios. It's easy to read up for experienced and professional ones if players will have the same type of approach in different situations. Might be prone to bluffing in most cases.

- All strategies are best. It now depends on how it will be used and apply to the game

- As I mentioned, above, all strategies are best. There are no "even better" nor "the most used" since it's all about proper timing to use those.
