1721  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: My Defi Pet - DeFi meets NFT on: September 02, 2021, 01:52:03 PM

Since DPET is playing around Php200, bumili ako paunti unti ng pet for the sake of staking. Parang bihira na lumabas iyong aura pet since nag 1M iyong count ng pet. Itong mga bagong set na bili ko is 2M na iyong count.

Hopefully, the devs will improve. And for others na di maintindihan ang valid rant ng mga players lalo sa Facebook na DYOR daw para di mag-expect, the game being beta should not always be a reason. We shouldn't always take that as a reason for some mistakes by the devs.
1722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPN into a betting deal worth 3 billion dollars $$$ on: August 31, 2021, 06:06:55 AM
The negative is that they can use all of the ways to compete with their competitor and conquer the market with all of their power.

Sounds like a twisting statement. Can you explain how it becomes negative when ESPN will use everything to be on top? Isn't it what a gambling site really does to make their site big and competitive to others? Huh

You are contradicting your first statement that by integrating crypto into their supposed betting platform, it will boost the betting market in crypto gambling. If they won't use all ways to compete then how can they become big and able to contribute to the crypto gambling market?
1723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 31, 2021, 05:43:26 AM
Lebron has proven that age is just a number, so I still trust them to be in the playoffs this season, and as long as Westbrook, Lebron, and Davis are healthy,  they are likely easily quality in the playoffs.

Lebron can still play on his best but his minutes should be limited to stay healthy throughout the season.

If you remember last season, the Lakers struggle when Lebron and Davis got injured and they were almost out of the playoffs but just survived the play-in tournament. This time, Westbrook can be their main scorer and not relying only on Lebron. Lakers Coach should think of the best way to distribute the minutes unlike he did last season where he put LBJ playing 35+ minutes per game.

1724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 31, 2021, 04:07:35 AM
IMO covid in six teams is too much already. Even if it is in only four teams, they can cancel the season already.

I agree with you. I even think 3 teams is enough to call it over. 3 teams can already give a long delay for the continuation of the season since their games will be a delay. As the usual quarantine period is 14 days, that's a long period.

If things go on like that, why not PBA just rest for a year or two to save cost. Don't mind the entertainment part as there are other sports as well that Filipino fans can watch and these people will understand that the temporary rest of PBA is necessary.

That's easy to say for us but the PBA players have to make a living and they need to feed their families.

Maybe the PBA organization sees it, that's why they still want to continue the season in a semi-bubble format. I don't know why only in the Philippines do we struggle, but in other countries, basketball leagues are ongoing, even in America which has the highest rate of infection.

What about the normal citizens that are unemployed since the pandemic hits the country? PBA Players are still far more comfortable with their livings compare to them. They can at least handle 1-2 years of their self-resources. PBA is also not the one giving the salary to their players. The teams are the ones shouldering the salary. PBA also gives continuous salaries to their staff and employees as supports during pandemic. If PBA will just shoulder those until the country situation becomes good then they will not lose Php72 million per bubble. In the worst case, if PBA will still continue the bubble operation, in 1-2 years, the players you are talking about will suffer in the future.

And what if teams are having a Covid situation on a regular basis, the delays will just continue and the conference will never end. They are still paying for facilities and hotels even there's a delay. Once the situation got eased, that's the best time to continue operating.

But don't worry my statement can't be applied now because they are 100% ready for the comeback. It's just that continuous delay sucks if ever at least 3 teams will have a Covid situation. Better to stop the conference rather than continue if that happened. The difference here in PH compare to other countries like the USA that are now returning to normal on their sports is the availability of the vaccines.
1725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Credit card bans introduced in Ireland. on: August 31, 2021, 01:35:35 AM
That's very strict in my opinion, nevertheless, the government has the total power to control everything so gamblers in Ireland can't do anything about it. But gamblers will be gamblers, this is just one step, but they will always find a way to bet on any sports regardless of this credit card bans. So I don't think they can really curb upon gambling in their country, on the contrary it might get worst as those gamblers will find a way to continue their activity or worse their addiction through loan sharks.

Limitations can make gamblers be desperate more. The lesser the options, the more these gamblers can find a way. I admire the Ireland country is doing good and maybe we can expect more policies regarding safe gambling. There are also only a few gambling providers that will involve in the credit card banning and other operators can still use it as their payment method.

The purpose is good but it's just a band-aid solution.
1726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley on: August 31, 2021, 01:15:48 AM
hard to predict these fights when proper form isn't there really.

Hard also to predict these fights if there is no proper basis and we can look at them before betting. It's like betting based on popularity. The fight should not even organized originally in the first place if there's no trash talk happened between these two on a club or maybe intentional.

I will never place a bet on this match but just want to watch it there's a free coverage of this lol.
1727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPN into a betting deal worth 3 billion dollars $$$ on: August 31, 2021, 12:58:00 AM
I think they will look at crypto payment method here also but more than likely, they will focus on fiat payment first. As crypto payment is getting popular these days, it will not be surprise if they will add this on their options. But I believe, it depends on their arrangement with their license. Sometimes it would take time to include another payment like this one - crypto, as they need to get good grasp first on how things are being handled when it comes to crypto.

They will look at crypto but it will take time. Since we are in crypto everyday and always here in the forum, we think that accepting crypto by these giant companies will easily be considered. The Fiat gambling market is big so for now, we can't involve crypto here now so let's wait and focus first on the impact if ESPN will now enter the betting industry.

ESPN's coverage of the Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley fight last night was so terrible. I wouldn't mind if they never covered another boxing event.

Low ratings? If that is then curious here why are others saying that Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley's fight results in a good profit if only a few people support it. Cheesy ESPN or any other giants should not cover future boxing events of not a real boxer.

As far as I know and you can correct me if I'm wrong, only a few crypto-gambling sites are regulated and under the jurisdiction of the US and UK.

Are your most clients in fiat casinos? Do you have any experience involving crypto-gambling sites?

5) get some bonus from the FS with x20 wager
6) make a deposit to beat the wager
7) kindly note you can't place bets by bonus
Cool once 100% wager is done, your bonus converts into real cash

To clarify this, are users can convert or withdraw to real cash once the x20 wager requirement reached without doing some deposits?

Some users are lucky and might hit the x20 in some cases especially there's a thing called beginners luck. Smiley
1731  Economy / Services / Re: I would like to make a sports betting bot for stake.com is it possible ? on: August 28, 2021, 09:27:15 AM
I honestly don't understand what the advantage of having a bot with these functions is, of course if it complies with the TOS of gambling sites, but going back to what I've been talking about I imagine that bot wouldn't be able to do a better analysis on relation to a human in case of sports betting so i can guess the bot is not for sports betting so what games do you intend to use the bot for?

It has a good advantage. Since it's a bot, you don't need to manually place a bet given the set condition. No need for analysis since the moment you choose a bot to bet on your behalf, you should already have a pre-analysis of the match. You have the assurance that you won't miss betting on a certain match.

If it's allowed by the gambling site and clears from the Terms and Services, I see nothing wrong using it but users should understand that it's not a tool to increase winning chance but instead a tool that will just follow a command set by their users.

in addition I imagine that the programmer who will create the bot will charge you a good amount of money to create this bot,

That was expected and I think OP is already aware of that.

Been reading the rumors about Kevin Love. But some analysts just created the speculation of him possibly going to the Lakers. There are no official statements nor hints, rumors, speculations coming from the Lakers themselves or a credible source on that possibility.

If that will become true, there is no other team where Kevin Love fits but only the Los Angeles Lakers. He is even more valuable and productive to me compare to Carmelo Anthony or to any veterans on the Lakers.
1733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: August 28, 2021, 08:54:10 AM
Already we had an upset a few days ago (Yordenis Ugás vs Manny Paquiao) and I guess the time is right for another one.

Can't feel the same about the fight between Canelo and Caleb. These guys are on the prime and since they are on prime they should have an equal provided odds but it's not. Caleb Plant is a strong boxer too, a champion and ranked as 2nd best active super-middleweight but with the odds provided, he just becomes an ordinary boxer against Canelo. Now you should get my point.

Goodluck with your bet. Upset means a big profit to you.
1734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: August 26, 2021, 10:57:20 PM
That's for sure, about batching, it could help but most of the gamblers are small-time gamblers only who risk a small amount of money, so saving from the fees is really very important. With the ETH 2.0 update, it might help reduce the fees for ETH users in gambling,

https://cryptomode.com/will-ethereum-2-0-lower-gas-fees/

That's the discussion above but still no change of fees. We should at least feel it today as 2.0 is now deployed.

ETH has still a long way to solve their fees problem. If continue, no more token will reside on their network as there are lots of good competitors now such as BSC, Kardia, Wax which is fast and cheaper.
1735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 26, 2021, 10:43:39 PM
If you'll ask me, there's no need to advertise the product anymore as it's already popular in the market, and I don't think advertisement alone could sustain the future of the PBA. Just like the NBA or any other type of sports, their biggest revenue came from the gate entrance, and since there's no crowd in the bubble, they'll continue to experience losses and their funds might not be enough in the long run.

That's a horrible idea, mate. Cheesy

PBA teams and their products are already popular way back before, why they didn't end the advertisement? Because it was 100% effective. The exposure is great and they have stats for it. Gate entrance is just a bonus as they are even paying for the event rent. You are right that advertisements can't sustain the PBA alone but at least they are trying their best. Just appreciate what they are doing.
1736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esport Gambling with Crypto. on: August 26, 2021, 10:27:43 PM
Do you think Esports betting has a good scope in the future where most of the teens are getting into games like LoL and world of warcraft, Dota, etc?
Even if they don't hear this in ads they will most likely hear it from their in-game teammates.

You are outdated, OP. Esports gambling is currently on the rise therefore you can conclude it has a better future.

Organizers successfully established numerous big Esports events with a huge prize pool before making it catching the attention of even not a gamer. It's because the gambling market is big and some gamblers want to test if they can ride the hype of gambling there. Now especially that teens staying only at home during pandemic, betting on Esports becomes one of their usual hobbies as most sports are suspended last year.

Assistant Coaches main job is to give advises and back players up and help them, unlike Head Coach who just draws teh plays, creates the strategy and yells at players when they fail.

Agree with you. Assistant Coaches mostly talk to the player themselves. You can just see them beside the Coach during a game time but off the court, these people are so close to the players because they are giving advice and practicing with them personally. The bond is there most of the time.

Not just the name of Van Exel but he already has an experienced coaching the Memphis Grizzlies and Milwaukee Bucks. He's not new to a coaching career and his experience will boost the Atlanta Hawks coaching staff.
1738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: August 26, 2021, 04:30:57 PM
You are confusing the Berlin hardfork with the London hardfork, which implemented EIP-1559. Many of us as well as the developers hoped that with the activation of the London hardfork the commissions on the ETH network will decrease significantly. Unfortunately this did not happen.

Why you don't use cheaper ways to deposit to casino with altcoins like USDT, TRON (TRX) or LTC?

Yeah got a typo with it and I'm sorry for that. What I meant is London Hardfork.

Why I'm not using cheaper coins? I've already mentioned a few posts before my post of mine that you got quoted.

The reason is, I have some ETH on my Metamask and when I try sending it to a gambling site, the gas fee is about $11. If I want to push it, it's wise that my deposit shouldn't be small so that I won't paying more fees whenever I want to deposit again.
1739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: August 25, 2021, 02:33:51 PM
I always prevent depositing a large amount because that can make me forget about controlling myself in gambling games. I am sure if there will be more altcoins added to the gambling games with low fees in the future as the crypto gambling business grows.

You have a point there but for me that have funds mostly on Metamask (ETH), I can't avoid paying high fees. Even in the Swap feature of Metamask for swapping ETH to a token that was supported by some gambling sites, the fees are also high.

I thought the Berlin Upgrade will lessen the fees in the long-run. That's why depositing in a big amount, maybe a minimum of $100 worth of ETH for a fee of $10 is the wise thing to do and do everything to budget that amount properly to long last my gambling activity.
1740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: August 25, 2021, 02:00:44 PM
Donaire is a counter puncher just like Guillermo Rigondeaux so that would be two successive boring fights for Casimero

I disagree with you. I think you didn't watch Donaire vs Inoue where the former engage in close combat. Donaire is definitely not a boring opponent for Casimero. You guys become overwhelmed with Casimero vs Rigo where we don't even see a fight. How can you conclude that Donaire is boring because of that? Do you think Donaire will run? lol.

And they have an unfinished business. I'm expecting a heated exchange of punches if they will face each other.
