What's the update on the odds? Is the line already moves? If does, lucky those who bet for New Orleans Pelicans Moneyline. Currently in a vacation and I can't access my preferred sportsbook here due to restrictions on the network I'm using here.

There's a huge change in the betting odds.

In my sportsbook.

From Clippers -4 favorite, they are now listed +1.5 underdog.
And the moneyline odds is already 2.02.. Pelicans will win this game, they already missed their 2 best players, no way they'll escape on this one.

From Clippers Moneyline 1.55 it's now 2.02. That's a big leap. Maybe good for those who bet early on Clippers but without Paul George, that's a problem. To beat Pelicans, Clippers needs to be in a complete lineup. Paul George is reportedly not feeling well yesterday therefore he is really got hit by the Covid-19 and not asymptomatic as if he didn't show signs, he might be able to play even already positive with the virus.

Clippers once again just have to do their best, no, very best, to win the match. The game is the sudden death for the Clippers and they will be sent to home if they will lose the last game of the play-in tournament.
922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: April 14, 2022, 06:10:52 PM
But based on Butler career, he has 2 more wins than Casimero, so he's a strong contender to take the title from Casimero.

He's the number 1 challenger that's why he is the strong contender. But Butler's previous fight is not impressive and he never seems deadly at those. But maybe in this fight against Casimero, he will show another version of himself or a different type of boxer as this is the only chance he will get the opportunity to steal Casimero's title.

Supposedly finish last December and now the fight will now take place in less than 2 weeks. I like to follow the drama involving Casimero, Probelleum, and Sean Gibbons. If Casimero wins, expect another trash talk from Casimero towards these two. Cheesy
923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 14, 2022, 05:57:53 PM
This is what I meant because regular games is really different compared to the pressure of play-in and playing in the playoffs and the Hawks have already that experience so it's quite easy for them to dominate the young Hornets. Against the Cleveland Cavs, I'm still going with the Hawks.

Like last year, Atlanta Hawks did a surprise again and no one even expected they will reach the Semis. But we should not take their recent win as a big deal because Hornets are not that really a threat right from the beginning. They are far even more worst than the Cleveland Cavaliers. This team is also unexpected to rise the ladder this season. They always end up not reaching the playoffs but with their current roster, they might have the chance to beat the Atlanta Hawks.

On a contrary, I will go with the Cavaliers here and expect goods for them as an underdog.

Boston Vs. Brooklyn in East.
Do you think it's wise to take the Nets to win the series against the Boston?
They are now 2.09 at my bookie.

It is, If you didn't notice, Kyrie has been very efficient with his game nowadays.
A healthy Nets would destroy the Celtics and won't reach game 7.
However, nothing is guaranteed though, no matter how strong a team on the paper. Team work and team chemistry wins the game.
But you should take the Nets to win the series though lol.

On the other hand, a healthy Boston Celtics can also destroy the Brookly Nets.

The Celtics got deeper bench support compared to the Nets.

It now depends on how their respective superstars will try to maintain their best performance in the game. Tatum and Brown are noticeable much-improved players and when worked together efficiently, their winning percentage is high compared to other duos in the league.
925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: April 13, 2022, 11:47:33 PM
Based on Canelo history, there is little chance for Bivol to beat him because Canelo has a good defense and punch to attack with good accuracy, even Canelo has won the match due to a heavy hit on the stomach target.

Just because of Canelo's history, you already concluded that Bivol has a little chance to win?

Bivol is already in heavyweight class since the beginning of his career and successfully managed to get a clean record.

I'm with Canelo Alvarez to win the match but I don't consider Bivol as a super underdog in this match. I don't treat and consider boxing history to conclude who will win in this match. I'm more of a technical analysis and their capability.
926  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 13, 2022, 11:38:11 PM
As far as next series this is going to be a great series.  Think Memphis pushes them but I can see this one going 6 or 7.

In that last night's game, the Timberwolves adjust as Karl-Anthony Towns is not in a good shape throughout the game. It means the team is still competitive as long as some of their players will adjust too like the man of the night, Anthony Edwards, and D'Angelo Russell.

I can't compare the Clippers to Memphis but as long as the Timberwolves will keep that playing level, they might upset the trending Memphis Grizzlies although even without Ja Morant, this team is really good and dangerous.

Grizzlies I think will win the series by Game 5 or 6.
927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: April 13, 2022, 11:25:06 PM
Lol, at least though, Casimero is seriously taking this fight and there is no issue with the weight already as he is ripped as f**k and thanks to his trainer and dietician making sure that he will make weight.

We will only see if Casimero will make it to the weigh-in, on the weigh-in match of course. He might be fit today but there's a chance that a problem may occur on the weight-in night although we don't want that to happen as it means the end for Casimero.

Seeing the image on the link, he becomes slim but still full of cuts. That means much quicker as he will gain speed. I wonder how Paul Butler can even knockdown or score points on Casimero.

I don't think there is a reconciliation between John Riel and MP now. Damage has been done and from the looks of it, irreplaceable, too bad though, but it is what it is.

With those trash talks by Casimero, currently no peace between Casimero and MP and never it will fix I'm sure. Cheesy

Casimero just needs to continue winning to show Gibbons what he really capable of.
928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: April 13, 2022, 11:04:35 PM
I think I might have to agree with your statement here. It really is going to come down to who can stay healthy and if the Brooklyn Nets can get Ben Simmons on the floor.  I don’t think they (the Nets) have a chance to beat beat the Suns if they don’t get him back.

Yes, I agree that it all depends if the team will stay healthy throughout the playoffs. But I disagree that if ever Nets and Suns will be in the Finals, the Nets can't beat the Phoenix Suns. Ben Simmons is too overrated if he is the key for the Nets to beat the Suns.

We are talking about a series match here and some adjustments will be made along the way.

The Nets are also used to playing without Simmons, nothing special if he will play or not.

They might be the only team however that could beat the Nets, will be interesting to see how this all plays out.

Don't forget Milwaukee Bucks. Giannis is playing at a high level every year and he is surrounded by good role players.

They will surely adjust if they will face the Nets on ECF now that they will also face Kyrie Irving.
929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 13, 2022, 10:41:38 PM
There’s a chance that game fixing is involved since PBA is monopolized by private company and we all know that viewership is what makes this franchise profitable. This is a Ginebra game which has the most number of fans in PBA. It will be a waste if the Championship will end with a one sided match. I’m this will be a game 7 series not because of the matching fixing accusation but rather the 2 team has close stats.

That might be possible but if you really watch the game and follow the series since Game 1, how come those are rigged when they are shown playing hard? It's just that Ginebra is pumped up because Game 4 is their deciding match. If they lose it, it's hard to even series and beat Meralco 3 times in a row.

I hope other users who post here in this thread will not just look at the old and classic accusation of game-fixing or rigging the Finals. Please watch the current Finals and decide for yourself if those games are really rigged.

Please point out some plays that you think are part of the rigged game and not just accusing a certain game as rigged. If you guys can't do that, there are other threads to increase your post count. Smiley

I know some users here who really watch the game.
930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: April 12, 2022, 11:56:21 PM
Can others stop mentioning age as the factor here? Why not just focus on real-boxing analysis and technicalities?

It's already proven that Donaire's age is not a disadvantage here. He still fights on his usual. He never will be rusted or slow down since his training is regular and he didn't become inactive for years. He always has the fight.

He got the record of the oldest boxer to get the WBA title and even defended it successfully by a KO win. Can we still consider age as a factor there?
931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING]: RYAN GARCIA vs EMMANUEL TAGOE - April 9 on: April 12, 2022, 11:45:02 PM
Tagoe managed to exposed the weakness of Ryan Garcia that is nice that he managed to do it but the problem is if Garcia is now fulfilling this shortcomes he has but I think a few months of training is not enough though even if he can train those weaknesses I think it is not yet or far to be perfect.

I like to ask, what was the weakness you are talking about?

Sorry, because I believe Ryan Garcia really dominated the fight and Tagoe was just there to survive and take a good cut on that fight.
Did Tagoe even hurt Ryan Garcia? If Tagoe goes for a toe to toe fight, for sure that would not last 12 rounds.

Garcia dominated the fight? Please watch the replay and you will see he is having difficulty.

I think you are just referring to the boxer's name and don't bother to watch even the highlights. Tagoe put Ryan on his limits and we should give him credit for that. Ryan is not even satisfied with his performance even though he wins.

Agree with the above, OP can now consider locking this thread as we might see other analysis that is supposedly not associated on the fight.
932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Token Based Casino In Market Aggregator on: April 12, 2022, 11:34:40 PM
but new casinos with their own token are coming up like Betfury's BFG and Owl.game OWLDAO and many more coming is there a possibility of a breakthrough like Fun Token or other casino based token breaking into the top 100 will start a new trend in the casino industry, every casino will create their own token and will we have Token Based Casino section like NFT and Metaverse in Coinmarketcap or Coingecko.

FUN token work their way until got listed on several exchanges. Not just for gambling purposes but it also attracts real traders.

They successfully managed to build a real coin volume over time although no established moon price yet since its inception.

For sure, there will be other token-based casinos that will emerge someday in coin rankings.

I wonder why there are no available tags yet especially on the "Categories" section on Coingecko and Coinmarketcap for gambling or casino?

I don't know how many token-based casinos are currently roaming the crypto market but maybe because only a few that's why it doesn't need a separate category?

Not sure about it though.

934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: April 09, 2022, 04:06:38 PM
Brooklyn Nets is a decent team with no doubt a powerful duo who's also an experienced players in the playoffs and both holds a championship title in the past. They also contributes big scores to bring a win to the team, it is just that they really lack and vulnerable in their defense. I'm not saying they cannot be a candidate this season because they still have a chance and probably can work things out with Ben Simmons.

We should assume now that Ben Simmons might not play in the playoffs to at least have a safe analysis and will not depend on him. It's reported that he might miss the first round of the playoffs and probably the entire post-eliminations game. From now on, we should not include Ben Simmons in any of our analysis for us not to rely on his participation and role in the Nets.

If he will become officially available and announced it, then good.
935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 09, 2022, 03:51:17 PM
What worries me is Ginebra's defence, they let the Meralco come back from a high of 20 points advantage, their lucky Meralco was not able to complete the come back.

That makes me think that betting in Live Bet is good. If Ginebra will repeat again the big lead they made last game, it's good to place a bet at Meralco +. I'm sure this team will again do some big rally once Ginebra was able to repeat that big lead. In most part of the elimination games, Ginebra is really not good at maintaining a big lead.

There's always a time they are allowing an average 10-0 run by their opponent while in a big lead making fans get a bit worried that they will eventually lose but it's not happening. Another one I'm thinking is, if ever Ginebra will be in a big lead on Game 3, they now learned their lesson on Game 2 and won't allow Meralco to do some rally and that leads me to bet on Ginebra -.
936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: April 09, 2022, 03:38:24 PM
Donaire also knows that too because like Inoue, he also had the first hand experience which was their first encounter. So he already know that it's not good for him if he goes toe-to-toe with Inoue as it can really weary him in the long run. It might be best to counter every punches and be versatile or quick enough to react every move Inoue will make.

As @Fredomago said, both of them is equal in this match and we cannot really tell which of them have the advantage.

I'm thinking they will go toe-to-toe, face-to-face, close-to-close, bout-to-bout, head-to-head, or whatever clashes we called it because that's what they love. There's still defense but if one signals that they need to clash closely, the other party will go with the challenge. It's a form of respect by each boxer and ignoring that call is unprofessional. Inoue is known for his offensive style and he will not change that way just because Donaire is a counterpuncher and he has experience fighting him already.

I don't really think Inoue will avoid Donaire in a close bout. As a champion, he will prove that he can beat Donaire in his comfort zone and that's what fans want to see. On the other hand, Donaire too will have the same thinking. If he was able to give Inoue heavy damage in that close fight before, he is comfortable he can repeat it.

We need to see that in the rematch. Donaire will be more desperate because he is the underdog, so he will continue to play his style and if Inoue would remain aggressive, that's what Donaire would want to see as he cannot win against the quickness of Inoue.

I'm also looking forward to seeing that in the rematch. I'm expecting there won't be pure defense or like the Rigo system lol where boxing turned into a marathon. As boxing fans know, both Inoue and Donaire, are good in defense but still, they prefer to have a continuous exchange of offensive punches,

With that type of exchange bout, we can't expect this fight will end up in a Decision.

It will be a bloodied KO win, and the strong one will win at the end.
937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: April 09, 2022, 03:21:15 PM
I think the offer is not fair, it's Crawford who is now a more popular boxer and yet he is only getting 40% of the purse? No way Crawford would go for that, it's an insult to him, so he better not fight and just wait for the time that they'll agree with the terms.

Spence Jr. 3 PPV events

March 2019 vs Mikey Garcia = 360,000 buys
September 2019 vs Shawn Porter =  300,000 buys
December 2020 vs Danny Garcia = 250,000 buys

Crawford PPV events

June 2016 vs Viktor Postol = 60,000 buys
April 2019 vs Amir Khan = 150,000 buys

No need for an explanation why Crawford should take the 40% of the split.
938  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UFC fighters will get their bonus pay by Bitcoin on: April 09, 2022, 02:43:32 PM
It will surely benefit them because that's the fruit of their hard work. They all deserve a good amount of bonus but I hope that they would get a chance to get to know the importance of Bitcoin as a currency and they will be able to access it easily. This kind of Bitcoin exposure will surely have a positive impact on the entire crypto community.

Even the bonus will not be paid in bitcoin, these UFC fighters are always paid thru their hard work. There's a benefit even without the bitcoin payment. There's nothing special to that as they just simply change the bonus payment into Bitcoin as obviously, the company is related to crypto. Crypto.com really doing some nice actions to promote awareness of cryptocurrencies in general.

The goal is to promote crypto while promoting the service of crypto.com. A good move actually but I don't think other companies will follow. Those who will follow that payment scheme are those businesses that are technically in the crypto industry already right from the start.
939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: April 09, 2022, 02:23:55 PM
GGG successfully win against Murata, not thru an exact KO but Murata's team throw the towel as a sign of giving up the fight.

The trilogy with Canelo Alvarez is now getting in shape and the thing left for now is for Canelo to win the upcoming fight with Dmitry Bivol next month. Feel sorry for those who risk betting at Murata as for me, I really can't take that risk even if it was a homecourt for Murata. This GGG never gets old.

Excited now to see the clash between Canelo and GGG. What a wonderful gift on GGG's birthday.
940  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: April 09, 2022, 02:07:37 PM
Yes so far there's no update regarding the pending case of Casimero but if ever there's another cancellation of the fight and this time will be coming from Casimero team again then I don't think so the WBO management will still give another chance for Casimero because to be honest this is already a second chance for him to defend his title. This time, if this scenario happens then stripping off easily the belt of Casimero is going to happen without second thought I guess.

That's the worst-case scenario. WBA might now strip the title on Casimero, as it's not once but twice he will be the reason for the possible cancellation of the fight. The first was when he fails to show up during their weigh-in with Paul Butler last December and probably this one.

But let's not think about that as a reason to lose his title. If ever Casimero will be stripped of the title, it will be because of him losing the fight and not anything else. Paul Butler on the other hand likely doesn't want an easy road to become the WBA Bantamweight Champion. He likes to work on it thru his own efforts, I believed in that.

Not gonna happen, Casimero will successfully defend his title because this fight is going to happen per schedule. Casimero understands that his will get stripped if he won't play, so he will make sure that he will be 100% in the fight and this fight will not be postponed or cancelled.

Making sure by 100% is not a problem with Casimero but there are things that are beyond his control like;

- his medical issue can happen anytime (gastroenteritis)
- the effect of the ongoing lawsuit

Casimero is always ready but these 2 factors are threats. But with how things are going, we can ignore both of these to happen.
