Actually i am not connected to your node barwizi but 92.115.69.196, so:

edit: Aaand it's gone. Weird.  Grin Back.
Here's my address if these two nodes somehow helped: 41RXhXwEqJzbXy2cdRNhW5MMx151Gc69wX

1730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] 6coin [6CN] Launch in 6 hours on: July 03, 2013, 11:59:32 AM

An attempt at merging pros of most coins into one coin.

  • 6 coins per block
  • block 66 has 66 coins
  • 666 has 666 coins and so on
  • 66 minute retarget
  • 66 second blocks
  • 666 million cap
  • Relaunch
  • Scrypt

Many coins suffer from orphans, I believe a 66 second target minimizes this.
I think billions of coins are unnecessary, hail the power of six.
To allow miners to be prepared i have given 6 hours before launch and the basic numbers

6666 - rpc port
6665 - listen port

All other details remain the same, changing host to 66.66.66.66 was an idea i thought may conflict and cause confusion.
Source and binaries are self compiled to avoid unfair launch.

Bounties -

66666 to the first pool
6666 to the second
666 to the third
666 to the block explorer (6666 if it's made in 6 or 66 minutes)
6666 for a faucet maximum 6 faucets
6666 for Mac client ( i do not own one)
666 coins for the first 66 addresses posted here (there'll be a real giveaway an hour after launch)
6666 for New icons and graphics (66666 if done in 6 or 66 minutes)

Give away is 66 coins for the first 100, then 6 for all subsequent addresses.  Tongue

would be great if we got some nodes to play with.
1732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Noirbits No premine or instamine. Block explorer added on: July 03, 2013, 11:41:50 AM
Yeah, I think I know where it comes from... there's in source a fix to avoid 51% attacks that could change difficulty at will... Thing is it looks back over the last 4 retargets to adjust hashrate. With yesterday's spike, and the 4x rewind to recalc diff, difficulty went way lower than it should have... It's now adjusting with the new retargets that went very quickly, a couple minutes max. between each.

Final word, we really really need a new diff algo, or this is gonna kill the coin...
lets get to it tonight
1733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][Noir][POOL] 0.5% Noirbits pool - Stratum/Getwork on: July 03, 2013, 11:31:21 AM
that's a coinchoose error, nothing to do with the coin.

1735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Select the first 5 Coins for Antimatter on: July 03, 2013, 11:05:22 AM
amc is traded already, those will be accepted later, for now we'd like to derive value out of the failcoins first.
1736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [KGC] The future is krugercoin and the future is now! [Official Launch] on: July 03, 2013, 10:59:57 AM
Ok, cool though most people wont trade thier btc and LTC , try another currency like WDC or DGC or something else.

I was shot down when i suggested a patch for CNC... I saw 6coin and thought it may be worth a try since it doesn't seem like it got raped.
1739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Need a node for coin relaunch on: July 03, 2013, 10:27:27 AM
