1722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will banks start a war against bitcoin on: November 07, 2017, 08:00:01 AM
I know we are still at a start of cryptocurrencies, but bitcoin is growing with lightning speed right now and some banks already see it as a potential threat.
There has been a lot of accusations form banks, that bitcoin is perfect for money laundering and is used for supporting crime.
I think they can do a lot of harm to bitcoin market and they will eventually start with harsh campaign against it.
Do you think it will happen and when?
In my country the banks have started the fight against bitcoin when many people have turned all their money and altcoin instead of putting it in banks.
I can't believe this, personally from my thinking banks won't directly make a war against bitcoin. This will surely make the banking system ruin their reputation as well helps in the growth of bitcoin. When bank oppose something, automatically people make plans of giving a try to experiment the reality.
1723  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: November 07, 2017, 06:25:13 AM
I don't know why people say bitcoin is gambling. Its not gambling. You are investing your money and time. You use your internet. So its not gambling dealing with it.
Bitcoin can also be called gambling. If it raises you have money. If the price drops you lose money. But if you dig a bitcoin. that is the property. You bring bitcoin to exchange or buy -> it is currency
The two concepts are getting confused among the users. There are some people who use Bitcoins for the sake of gambling and hence it has become a myth now that Bitcoins themselves are a form of gambling.

Gambling is totally dependent upon the luck and does not require any effort whereas the Bitcoin mining, trading and all other matter do involve a lot of hard work. Therefore it is not worth stating that Bitcoins are a type of gambling.

During the early days bitcoin has been used much on gambling and for illegal transactions. This slowly got changed when the people started to know about the innovation as well the usage beyond that of gambling. Those past reality still found among the people believing that bitcoin is a form of gambling.
1724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin online payments on: November 06, 2017, 11:31:23 AM
I think this will happen soon. Because, many stores and e-commerce transaction platforms such as eBay, Paypal, Overstock, Tigerdirect, Microsoft,...have accepted Bitcoin for payment.
Several legendary market holders have been into bitcoin, but very few statements come out providing legal confirmation that they accept bitcoin. So, bitcoin as online payment is found high on services that happens between users on mutual acceptance of bitcoin. Now the online store acceptance has increased, also wallet services too have developed payment links to support payment.
1725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: November 06, 2017, 11:03:56 AM
Not sure where this is coming from but bitcoin has already overthrown paypal by market cap. Many many times. Now it's time to am for bigger challenges like currencies etc.
A 100 billion marketcap is huge but yet the beginning because adoption is yet to come.
With the increased price bitcoin has gone beyond PayPal in terms of market capital. In terms of growth too it has reached almost big through different accessibilities available. PayPal as an payment processor has gained good reputation and this will let the community grow as majority of the business people use PayPal for cross border transactions.
1726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is new way to get Free money? on: November 06, 2017, 10:26:04 AM
It's not, this is a form by which the particular project get its initial circulation of tokens. Also it is an way to provide with the trading possibilities, once the tokens hit the exchanges for inflow and outflow of tokens certain volume is required. For the same ico has been used and this too helps in promoting the projects.
1727  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin unstoppable now on: November 06, 2017, 07:24:31 AM
China cracks down, Japan moves in.I think bitcoin cannot destroy.Bitcoin now unstoppable and its  price near 6k and hope bitcoin will be hit 10k this year. Smiley Smiley Smiley
Bitcoin is indeed unstoppable, besides it is not like China can just withdraw from bitcoin as well, I'm sure many of their politicians are into bitcoin too, so they do not want the general population to have access to bitcoin since that is going to make their control over their population a lot harder but at the same time they cannot be blind to the huge opportunities bitcoins offers to them, so they cannot get out of bitcoin completely.
Yes, bitcoin is all about trust. China has made a big step by providing legal support to the growth of bitcoin as well other digital currencies. When years passed automatically the exchanges out of greed made several fake volume transactions and the same became an issue with governments causing regulatory problems.
1728  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: long term invest in bitcoin on: November 05, 2017, 11:29:55 PM
With bitcoin at least certain time needs to be given to make it at profitable, or else the user needs to have good good trading skills to actively involve into regular buying and selling of bitcoin with different trade pairings available. This will provide better earning which is the best way to other than long term investment on legit platforms.
1729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Most Undervalued Coin of 2017! on: November 05, 2017, 10:25:17 PM
I feel that ETH, LiteCoin, and WAVES are undervalued coins of 2017!!!
How come you make this prediction that Eth to be one among the undervalued coin. Take the growth table of ethereum and understand how it has grown by this year compared to the past year. Most assets that you have described has shown positive growth.
1730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who wants to be a Bitcoin Millionaire?! on: November 05, 2017, 09:40:27 PM
Everyone want to become millionaire with Bitcoin but it is not so easy mission. I think even if Bitcoin help us to improve our financial statuts and to earn our living or adding some extra income for us, that's not bad at all.
Yes, everyone has the willingness to be billionaire. Now user has got an opportunity to make it possible with bitcoin, those who adopted earlier has got benefited or became a billionaire. As mentioned it's not an easy task as people in a large scale were getting into the bitcoin community.
1731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Buying and Holding the only way? on: November 05, 2017, 03:25:46 PM
i tried to calculate how much would i make from bitcoin mining using an antminer s9, and i don't think it's worth it for me as the cost of electricity is high where i live, which is in the UK (it's 20 cents approx), i make like $300 profit a year. and obviously i can't use faucets as that will take years to get one bitcoin. so is the only way to even get any value from bitcoin is to buy it and hold it on for another few years? but it is a risky investment due to the price. or should i invest in new currencies that are cheap right now and have potential to grow to $4k a coin?  Huh
Holding or keeping you bitcoin is much easier but if you want to earn a much larger amount of money investing is a good idea for you. But be smart.
As in the quote for sustained earning investing is good. At the same time we need to understand all about it in a better way that investing bitcoin is quite risky. Based on the fact it's good to hold in the wallet with private keys in hand. Right now one in ten investment websites seems legit and trusted.
1732  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will be 10k in the next 6-10 months! on: November 04, 2017, 03:40:41 PM
hope it happens when i have a lot of bitcoin in my wallet.
the current price is so high, but, unfortunately, I do not have bitcoin in my pocket. well, I just hold some altcoins, and expect the price to go up, so as not to miss the train to $ 10000.
In the upcoming days very few altcoins can be expected to show signs of pumping. This will continue in such a manner till the year end and once again starts to fluctuate in the common manner soon after this. Every user wish to experience the $10000 barrier, because it is a step above reaching the next level. Hope this happens within the upcoming 6-10 months as Op mentioned.
1733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you USE your BTC? on: November 04, 2017, 02:49:49 PM
I keep hold of the bitcoin considering it an valuable asset that can make me rich or grow financially in the future. I don't spend much on shopping needs because what we spend today on a particular product varies tomorrow. This makes the spending unworthy. At times used to spend on gambling.
1734  Economy / Speculation / Re: is it possible bitcoin's price going to 10000$ at the end of 2017? on: November 04, 2017, 12:02:21 PM
bitcoin's price are rising rocket at present and do you guys think the price will be 10000$ ?
i am very confident with this . but i want to know other people's view

You have your opinion counted but for my own opinion as negative as others has. 10000$ won’t be happening this year even there still more than a month before the end of the year. I’ll go with my possible predictions and that is 8000$ and not more than that. It is because I have doubts on the price increases next weeks and the coming months.
Let’s just wait for it if I speculate wrong then I will accept it because in any opinion, there should be no right and wrong.
Yes, every user has got their own suggestions based on the way they study the market. In. My view the price keeps on growing and surely reaches the $10000 mark. People once said that $5000 is big to be reached, but everything happened in a very short time span. So, same could continue as the market is getting wider than getting shrink.
1735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin crash is imminent on: November 04, 2017, 10:20:04 AM
Real time applications and usage of bitcoin is quite high compared to altcoins. This won't let down the bitcoin in a short time period. Crash happens with bitcoin, but with the growth it has attained it'll surely retain from the fall. Several altcoins used to show good signs of growth, but in a short falls and never retains. This makes the difference between altcoins with bitcoin.
1736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can ETH match the BTC? on: November 03, 2017, 04:27:36 AM
Both grows upon its own way. Eth has started to grow with good potential from the beginning of the year, but the growth didn't continue to take it reach a bigger price. I believe the price might continue to grow in a similar manner giving a competence with its gradual growth to bitcoin rather than pumping big in a short.
1737  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will be 10k in the next 6-10 months! on: November 03, 2017, 01:22:52 AM
I think bitcoin value will reach $10,000 in the next coming 50-60 days because the value of bitcoin is growing continuously without anything to stop it.
A lot of people are now investing into bitcoin because they see the huge potential in bitcoin as it provide more profit just by holding it without doing anything.
Looking upon the growth that has been taking place, people have started to invest big into bitcoin. This has created a huge volume inflow of fiat investment into the network. This provides a positive growth and never lets the value get declined causing it reach the value of $10000 at the earliest.
1738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as Ransom on: November 03, 2017, 01:04:32 AM
Bitcoin getting used as ransom quite often goes viral making it a big news. This happenes because of the decentralized platform it functions and the support it provides in hiding the identity of the person involved in the specific transaction. This helps in wide spread and also gains negative comments.
1739  Economy / Economics / Re: Is time too late on: November 03, 2017, 12:40:55 AM
never say too late for bitcoin. past is past. time now buy and thinkin strategy for make profit from bitcoin.
As mentioned past is past. Nothing gonna get changed thinking of it, so better is to make use of the available chances. Even though the price is bigger for the common men, it is affordable based on the low denomination and we're to travel long as we have crossed just less than ten years.
1740  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Banks fear cryptocurrency on: November 02, 2017, 04:00:46 PM
Bank don't fear about bitcoins much as till its not legalized properly all over the world people still need fiat currency to use in the market and to pay bills. Till btc don't get legalized as fiat currency btc can't be accepted openly.
That's the outlook each and every user has, but in reality banks fear much about bitcoin as well other digital currencies. Everything is purely upon the growth it has reached in a very small time frame as well the flawless functioning. Though it's dependent on banking section, banks fear of the backing technology and keeping them up to date to cope with it.
