Have you heard back from Mike yet, Og?

Yes.  He said he anticipated them being sent out on the 5th.  I don't think that happened since I haven't received a tracking number yet.  I assume he'll get this taken care of very soon, as he said the coins just became available this week.
17302  Economy / Securities / CoinTerra Successful Tape Out! on: November 08, 2013, 04:27:50 PM
Quote from: CoinTerra Team
Hello Bitcoin Mining Enthusiasts,

It has not been very long since our last newsletter, but we are certain that ‘bothering’ you with the news that we have reached tape out of the GoldStrike1™ ASIC chip is something you will forgive.

The tape out means that the GoldStrike1 chip now is well under way to production and the last piece of our TerraMiner puzzle is now in place.

You can read the official press release regarding the tape out here.

Aside from the news of the tape out we will also be launching our CoinTerra Forums to the public in the next few days. The forums will be a place where the Bitcoin community, Bitcoin miners and CoinTerra customers can ask questions, post ideas and take part in discussions on everything Bitcoin related.

As always, you can reach us with any questions or comments at info@cointerra.com or 512-270-6050.

Best Regards,

CoinTerra Team

17304  Economy / Securities / Re: overcharge repay on: November 07, 2013, 03:40:53 PM
A fan told me that minimum txfee is 0.0001 BTC. This is true since bitcoind 0.8.2 (June 2013). The nastyfans policy states:

Quote
nastyfans uses the Bitcoin minimum for purchase order transaction fees

But nastyfans charged 0.0005 BTC. That was the minimum before June 2013. This means nastyfans charges extra txfees since June 2013.

To remedy this policy violation I do:

If a ex-member wants repayment please PM me.

Thanks nonnakip.  Any chance you would be willing to provide a public donation address for your dedication to NastyFans?
17305  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Work in progess] Burnins Avalon Chip to mining board service on: November 07, 2013, 02:54:34 PM
the CAN BUS cable doesn't seem to work either, both boards alone is fine, but when connected and each board has been terminated...

I can't get mine to work with 1 usb cable either...  Alone they mine fine.

Anyone get multiple boards mining with 1 usb cable on windows?  Any secret?  Does your PC recognize them as separate miners, or just 1?

Can you please check it on p2pool for couple minutes, please? Using link I provided earlier on.

You could also use nastyfans.org:9332 and use your Bitcoin payout address as your username if you wanted to get paid for your P2Pool testing. Wink
17307  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Ultibit Customers: Which Pool would you like us to use? on: November 06, 2013, 10:38:52 AM
I would love to have you mining on my P2pool node.  Besides supporting decentralized mining and being paid newly generated coins, we also have 0% fees on Bitcoins mined on the pool, as we use merged mined alt coins to pay the bills.

If you wanted to give it a shot, just point your miner at nastyfans.org:9332 and use your BTC payout address for your username.

Stats can be viewed easily by anyone looking up your BTC address on the stats page: http://nastyfans.org:9332/static/graphs.html?Day

Sorry.  Refusal of escrow and multiple negative trust ratings is a deal breaker for me...  A shame because I thought this was a good deal.

17310  Economy / Securities / Re: COMPARISON BITCOIN MINING ASSETS on: November 05, 2013, 05:16:14 PM
There's also Nasty Fans, hashing at 420 GH/s as of right now - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=86854.0

IMO Nasty Fans is not an asset and can not be added

Interesting viewpoint.  Looks like we've succeeded in removing the risks associated with operating an asset.  Grin

In all fairness though, NastyFans receives revenue not just from "BITCOIN MINING" but also running our own pool, mining LTC/NMC/DVC/I0C/IXC and selling custom silver coins.  A comparison using just the Bitcoin mining operation would be telling only 1/4 of the story anyway.  Wink

I've received yet another order from Bees Brothers.  Their honey roasted almonds are one of the best things I've ever tasted...
17312  Economy / Auctions / Re: 20 hours AUCTION Bitburner Fury ~50 GH/s 4 pieces on: November 05, 2013, 04:55:27 PM
Awaiting confirmation of escrow or seller sending first due to bad reputation in seller trust profile.

I believe he discontinued this offer and separated himself from CoinTerra.
17314  Economy / Securities / Re: [NastyFans.org] NASTY MINING | NASTY POOL on: November 05, 2013, 06:17:06 AM
I've always only ordered cutting edge equipment for this operation. When we ordered the BFL Singles, KnC Miners weren't shipping and by the time KnC had proven themselves, the superior Monarch product was available. Now CoinTerra seems to be offering the best product, so our latest order was with them. I have nothing against KnC, I just don't think purchasing their equipment is the right move for us at this time.

I've placed this order and closed the group buy.  Will let you know once these coins have shipped.  Thank you all for participating!

Have they shipped from Mike or are you letting us know when you ship them?

I'll let you know when I have an update.  No word from Mike since the order was placed.  I'll shoot him an email now.

17319  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs RMA on: November 04, 2013, 07:10:38 PM
Has anyone had success returning a miner to BFL for a RMA? My single lasted 2 weeks and then unexpectedly died. They have been unresponsive so far. Anyone else experienced this?

They did an RMA return for me and shipped it out within 24 hours of receiving my dead unit.
