1742  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Lealana 1 LTC (Full Roll) Series 1 - Fully Funded !! on: October 30, 2014, 09:10:33 AM
Are they 1oz silver each?

They are nickel plated brass, less than 1 Oz.
Nevertheless the are very nice coins.
1743  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] 1oz Gold American Eagle on: October 29, 2014, 01:20:03 PM
1oz gold american eagles are typically sold for above spot, there are some dealers that buy them for spot +15 and sell for spot+50

That is very interesting information, when taking into consideration that the AGE are .9167 Au (and not .999 like e.g. Chines Panda's).
You would think that dealers only would pay 91% of spot - from that I can conclude that the AGE have some numismatic value.

Although it is true that the gold purity level is .9167 Au (22 karat) the actual weight of the coin is 1.0909 troy oz.  This makes the 1oz Gold American Eagle contain 1 troy ounce of gold.

Oh really? That is really useful information, thank you DJ.

1750  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for friendly miners on: October 27, 2014, 09:05:37 AM
So a few minutes ago I created this transaction https://blockchain.info/tx/643f881eb19323a9e12784afba5bfc62dd02951512fbc58fc953eb19f69fe518 but as you can see I forgot to include a fee so I am asking for a friendly miner Can you confirm my transaction please? I will pay 0.02btc for a miner who will include this transaction in to their block, Thank you.

What am I missing here?

You will pay 0.02 BTC to get a 0.0099 BTC transaction confirmed?

Why not just send a 0.0099 again with a 0.0001 fee, and save 0.01 BTC?  Huh

1754  Economy / Goods / Re: Old Ninja Turtle toys on: October 22, 2014, 07:22:52 PM
Feel sorry about loosing all my childhood toys, some of it must be worth quite a few dollars by now, who would have thought?  Undecided

I read about those magic cards, that we where playing around with in elementary school, the best card "the black lotus", is worth thousands of dollars today.

(I had all the turtles too, ofcause, the regular ass turtles, not the lame samurai turtles Cheesy)

Good luck with the sale.

1758  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Brass and Silver Casascius Coins - High Grade Collectible History! on: October 19, 2014, 06:05:46 PM
Do you have (or are you able to obtain) pgp custody chains for any of these coins? Potentially interested in several of them if so.

If the coins are graded, wouldn't the chain be broken in that case? Unless ANACS are willing add to PGP custody chain (which I doubt).
