1741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Insta dump after BTG Block Snapshot? on: October 23, 2017, 05:41:29 AM
Yup, I'm also going to dump some of them after that fork. Most of the buy is because of that fork people are looking to earn some extra cash from it as you get two coins at the price of one. We can only Hope massive dumping doesn't happen after that and bitcoin price remains there after the fork.

Yeah, it seems to be some dump

I am thinking to short BTC once after the Block Snapshot

It might be a good shot there Tongue
1742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Everyone buying all these new shitcoins is killing the altcoin market. on: October 23, 2017, 04:03:34 AM
You guys are just diluting the market by investing in shitcoins ( making small groups of people crypto rich) when we should be focused on growing the real crypto's like eth, etc, ltc, nem dash, xmr. Stop buying the ICO hype and start getting back in to the real coins.

Well tbh, imo i can say every coins starts as shitcoins because as we can see there. Most of the ICOs are plainly just idea and futuristic plan.

Same towards the coins you listed like ETH

I Would say its good to invest in shitcoins. Why? If you never invest in shit, you wouldn't learn. Despite there's 10 people giving advice on never join MLM. You wouldn't know why until you join.

So its a good thing there, people learn, people grown up, community become better
1743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Insta dump after BTG Block Snapshot? on: October 23, 2017, 03:57:43 AM
As we know, Bitcoin Gold will take place in Block 491,407 which will mostly occur at October 24, 3am PT (10am UTC)

Since the snapshot occur, you will get BTG and can we expect an instant dump of Bitcoin?

IMO this BTG event is part of the reason of the recent Bitcoin price surge
1744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Selling 23 Minexcoin on: October 23, 2017, 03:54:17 AM
23 Minexcoin are still available,
Price $3 per coin.
Leave me a pm if your interested. Smiley

Hey OP

Sorry but may i ask

Is this the coins  you selling? https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/minex/

Thanks
I think its not, minex is different from minexcoin.
The symbol for minex is mx and for minexcoin is mnx

Alright thanks for your input and feedback here

And you are right, asked in the original thread of minexcoin

Dev stated its different thing there
1745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit2X hardfork? can it be soft fork? on: October 23, 2017, 03:50:39 AM
Alright, so recently we have seen BCH, BTG and tons of hard fork

So Segwit2x is something that people been looking at it months ago and it was on the Hot Topic debate previously.

1) Can Segwit2X actually activated via a Soft Fork?

2) Based on https://coin.dance/blocks, we can clearly see the Network % support towards Segwit2X Dropped, what happened there?

3) Like BCH, you get 1:1 BTC:BCH, but BCH is not getting major adoption, so Bitcoin is still the "Bitcoin we are using"
So lets say if Segwit2X happens, it is accepted and majority accepted It.

How would it be affected? I mean how would the Segwit2X be the "Bitcoin" that we are using now?

In coinmarketcap, will Segwit2X replace the current "Bitcoin" or it will have a different thing there?

Thanks

No it can't. The main goal of segwit 2x is to increase the blocksize. Blocksize increases can only  be deployed via hardfork, hence why they are so incredibly problematic.

The market doesn't want bigger blocks, otherwise they would be using BCH and the price of BCH would be higher.

Segwit2x proponents want to kill the legacy chain in order to not let the market speak how it doesn't want the segwit2 hardfork.

Ahhh i see, thanks for the clarification

Therefore Soft fork only applies on certain changes which wouldn't affect the blockchain much? Can i say so?

Hardfork would be something that might change it consensus like Block Size?

Hey ok i am currently confused with the situation right now

Minexcoin

Is this minexcoin? - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2002826.0

Its different project from this Minexcoin right?

The Minex in coinmarketcap : https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/minex Is not our minex?

It points to

https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange?market=MINEX_BTC
https://www.coinexchange.io/market/MINEX/BTC

Need clarification here

Thanks

Hello!

Pay attention.
Our coin name is MinexCoin (MNX).

MINEX (tiker-name MINEX) it's just a token. MinexCoin (MNX) is not a token, but a coin with it's own ecosystem.
Our coin has not yet listed on the exchange.
A final date for the start of MinexCoin listing on Livecoin.net exchange is set for November 1'st.

Ahh i see, this solve my doubt

was wondering whats wrong with the price, the price move so bad and it starts off under ico price and now less tha 70% value.

Then its another coin

Thanks for clarifying xp
1748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Need help about EtherDelta steal!!!! on: October 22, 2017, 04:59:15 PM
Seems that its a Phishing site

My advice here

Whenever you google, never click on the Ads result (First few result, which has a label of "AD")
Always check and click on the official site, verify the URL.

Example here, previously a phishing case

enjincoin.io
enijncoin.io

Can you see the difference? It has difference there

Etherdelta.com
Etheridelta.com

At least it has an I but not word switch.

Be careful with characters like i and j, it looks close to simlar.

More example here

pappijoke.com
pappjioke.com

i and j is very hard to identify especially if they are next to each other
1749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could Enjin coin reach a $100m Market Cap?? on: October 22, 2017, 04:50:47 PM
IMO yes

It just the matter of time
Enjin is an existing gaming community service which offers Hosting, Websites, Servers and ETC

By integrating Enjincoin, a blockchainised crypto into the market of the game server to prevent fraud, lower down cost. Especially in minecrafts servers, they could just trade items with Enjincoin without any doubt
1750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New Waves roadmap on: October 22, 2017, 04:46:32 PM
What do you guys and gals think? When moon?

Waves is definitely something to look out, the current price now is totally a steal if based on satoshi value

Waves has a good blockchain, good platform to use tbh
1751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: COSS - what do u think? on: October 22, 2017, 04:33:42 PM
Long term is definitely one should be looking at

Their exchange is having low volume now because its new

Wait till the growth, with weekly dividend, you just throw in huge money. Wait for dividend, live with the dividend.

However, it takes quite some time.

My speculation is

$1 in 2018 per coss Smiley

One problem here, aside from Low Fee, whats the competitive edge that WCX Think they can outperform their competitor?

1755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin 6050$ on: October 22, 2017, 04:00:32 PM
Bitcoin is growing altcoins to fall lower and lower. What is your opinion of what will happen until segwit?

MY price movement speculations here

After 26/10/2017, there will be a drop

Then the timeframe until Segwit2x, it will be a price increase

After Segwit2X, it will be something that might be depends on the situation.

If majority accept Segwit2x, then we can expect price to be increase in this case
1756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: MyEtherWallet Hacked on: October 22, 2017, 03:59:55 PM
Before i giving my POV, to the answer of OP

1) Yes, MEW is hackable, but likely impossible at the same. Regardless of what, private key is still a combination of characters, it just the matter of time people spent to find the EXACT same characters as your private key.

My take here:

It seems that that hacker "only steal KICKcoins and ETH" from the account, one of the hacked account/perhaps its owner account here
https://etherscan.io/address/0xe34c1d62e02c7cf5f729f439b5c7b77faa59a688#tokentxns

As you can see this account has Everex which is worth $240
But only Kickcoins is withdrawn, The hacker Withdraw coins that doesn't even have a value currently.

So i suspect you clicked into some Hijacked Phishing Site. Once you upload your Priv key.
It auto access your account
Check Balance of ETH = True, Withdraw
Check Balance of KickICO = True, Withdraw

And based on what you have said, after transferring the hacked Kickcoin, they transfer it again to this address
https://etherscan.io/address/0xdee0cc222c5219ea79ca263beabdec5f9fc13dbc#tokentxns

Based on all these information, i strongly believe you clicked into one of the fake MEW Site.

Because if you actually take a look at this address: https://etherscan.io/address/0xdee0cc222c5219ea79ca263beabdec5f9fc13dbc#tokentxns
Then check the tab "Tokens Transfer"

You can see each of the coins, are transferred by different Ethereum Account.

If you actually join slack, you would know recently it has tons of fake bots which spread fake message and tons of people getting phished.

However, this is all just speculations.
This address: https://etherscan.io/address/0xdee0cc222c5219ea79ca263beabdec5f9fc13dbc#tokentxns could be someone else address, perhaps its an exchange or so. I doesn't have a good reverse tracking skills, but these is all what i can find

Just to check out, did you receive email, message or etc that stated your account is compromised, hijack or anything?

1758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: question regarding My ether wallet on: October 22, 2017, 03:25:59 PM
hello

i don't know if this the right place for my question, so please let me know if i have to move it.

i have a question regarding MEW, if i received a tokens that are not listed on the wallet what happens ?

do i lose my tokens or it will show the balance after i add it ?

No worries, tokens will always be in your wallet as mentioned above

Just remember, always check if the tokens you sent are ERC standard.

If you sent BTC to ETH wallet, i have no idea what will happen. (Although it may not sent out because the address identifier is not same Tongue)
1759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My VERY diversified portfolio... (70 coins) your opinion is highly appreciated on: October 22, 2017, 03:24:45 PM
I have been adquiring many different coins in many different exchanges  to minimize the losses if there is a hack of one of the exchanges. Anyway it is "only" 3000$, but this is all money i have been saving for some time.
I was also thinking about hardware for cold storage, paper wallet... but it is impossible with so many coins.

I have what i think are sure bets: 65% of portfolio (no doubts of any of these)
QTUM LINK IOT XVG NEO PIVX XEM WAVES SNM BNB PAY LSK BTM SAFEX STRAT HVN STX XEL
MTL DNT MAID CND BTS LRC

And here you got my risky bets: 35% of portfolio
AEON RAD SHIFT BAT PTOY ADX BAT FUN PLR HMQ NET UIS MBRS 808 SIGT XSPEC EOS SWIFT LBC VOX WINGS MNE OK POSW KMD  FLO SYS MSP QRL HMQ CAT ONION IFT ARDR TKN SC UBQ SNT BQX POE EMB DAR BTA ELIX DRACO MDA ETN

As you can see.. balls of steel.. No BTC or ETH.

Right now, i fucked up with EMB (.. entered FOMO to a huge pump and dump), DRACO (a big scam from Moldavia),.. lessons learned.
SIGT, BTM and MNE have also dropped a lot, but i think they still have a chance of going up. And the rest i think they will recover and bring good profits. Anyway i am for the longterm, but follow it daily just in case there are any big news. Do you think there is any other coin that is going to die should be removed right now to avoid future loses? in that case, please tell me why do you think so.

By the way, the best to follow so much coins is using cryptocompare(dot)com and creating your own portfolio.. I also tried blockfolio but i think it is worse.

Opinions are welcome..but please explain why do you think so, instead of just claiming something without arguments.

Hey! I like how you split the 65% into those coins

Majority of it has really great future which will most likely to get value appreciation time by time.

While from the 35%, IMO Shift, BAT, SIGT, XSPEC, WINGS, POSW, OK, CAT, ARDR, UBQ, SNT is quite a good one

Especially UBIQ, WINGS and BAT. These are the top of the top in each of their categories
1760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Who supports Bitcoin Gold? on: October 22, 2017, 03:21:45 PM
As currently, Yobit and Bittrex supports it

Bittrex just post an announcement

In terms of perspective, i am not a fan of it as you can see although it has changes in algo consensus, coins specification.

It is still a fork of Bitcoin. Bitcoin should be unique xp
