I just set up the online wallet at Myzenwallet. Sent 1 zen to test it out... Received the Zen no problem but when I try to send Zen back out I get the following message.
"Error. Error: Request failed with status code 400"
And yes... I am trying to send out less than my total amount and have tried using 0.001 and 0.002 as a transaction fee.
Thanks for any help in advance.
Did you manually fill all fields? As you can see some values apering but this is more like example how you should fill your form. At the you must confirm that you want to send. How to Setup ZenCash Web Wallet + Send & Receive Zen https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gMA-67pGmyM&feature=youtu.be

So if i had a computer that has required specs for running let's say 5 secure nodes, how would I set them up.
Do i need to have a Virtual machine for every node i run and an VPS on each VM?
Or can i just buy 5 different VPS on my Windows, one for each node, without running 5 VM?
Every node must satisfied next conditions! 4gb of ram, 1 cpu 64bit
Secure Node CriteriaEach of the following criteria must be met and maintained for a Secure Node to be eligible to recieve a share of the reward pool. These items may be added to or modified at any time. Must maintain a balance of at least 42 ZEN in a 'stake' transparent address Must maintain a minimum balance of .001 ZEN in a private address on the node for challenges Must be available with minimal exception time for at least 92% of an earning period (appox. 1 day) Must perform a challenge in under 300 seconds Allow 8 or more peers by allowing public connections on the configured zen port (default 9033) Must maintain a valid public SSL cert properly configured for zen Must not fall behind the current block height by more than 4 blocks Must update to current versions of the zen and/or tracker software within the posted time frame Note: only one public Ip address is allowed per node (IPv4 or IPv6). General Secure Node expectations:Maintain the full block chain Run on a secured system (firewall, restricted logins, etc.) Keep the node OS updated, patched Periodically check for notices of updates, issues, etc.
If you are planning to experiment with your machine, you must have very good machine and must install Virtualbox and 1 instance of system for every node. One IP per node, I think you can't assign public IP to your virtual box.. VPS is much better solution. ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif)

What is wrong with the current logo? In my opinion It looked pretty good.
hey all, just wanted to chime in on this since it seems to be getting so much controversy. First, no logo is ever so set in stone that it can't be swapped out when something better comes along.
That said, we need a new logo that we own the trademark to, that's the main purpose for redoing it. That's why we launched a new logo competition months ago: we had the community submit designs and we ran a parallel 99designs competition. There was a vote and what we see now was the result.
We held off on implementing bc some people wanted another chance to come up with something better. We had some members run independent (and more expensive) 99designs campaigns, we've had awesome pro designers submit expensive sketches, and nothing made everyone happy; nor did it make majority happier than the one you saw in the slides yesterday.
Of course, our community has grown a ton since we did that original competition, and we can keep this channel open for continued improvements that we can adopt at any point; as of right now, we need a new logo, not having one has held up broader rebranding, merchandise, marketing materials, and website. From the last 3 months' effort I haven't seen everyone happy with anything, and we've procrastinated too long.
My preference is to move forward with what we have. I like it, but also think we can do better, so recommend implement and keep this channel open for continued improvements. Rob Viglione @f1npunk

What's the ETA on the securenodes? When will they appear on the mainnet?
We are in beta and there is no exact date, when developers says that everything is OK we can go main-net Are there plans for signature bounty for ZEN community? Thank you.
Not for now, maybe after launching of nodes nothing certain.

Did u mean even if I bought 42 zen for setup my securenode but I still not receive my reward yet?
You probably haven't set up node yet because you are waiting to see how things going to work. Once when nodes start returning money they will become target for many interested including those who already running nodes. Also those setup guides are not so simple, this is maybe small obstacle, Team will work on this! If you consider that we are in testing phase, number of 500 nodes is quite a good! This is my opinion.
|
|
|
5000 nodes ? You cant be serious. I read somewhere they are expecting 1000 nodes by the end of 2018...
I thought this also, but now we have 500 nodes running in test mode, without payments. When they start paying this number will increase significantly. Actually i believe, in very short period of time we jumped from below 100 nodes to 500 nodes.
