1741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: October 03, 2015, 04:14:47 PM
Any sites you recommend?
Strategy?

The only advice that I can give is don't gamble in no one site. All the gambling sites are the same. The gambling is loss of money. For sure. Today or after one year this doesn't make any difference. Important is the end. And the end is the same in all the cases. The loss of ALL the money with which you will gamble.
1742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your idle coins? on: October 03, 2015, 04:08:52 PM
I have some coins idling around in my wallet but I cannot bear to put it in hyip or risk it. But it is a waste to let it idle around. Yes. I have coins in some "lower risk" hyips to generate some interest which I'm prepared to write off. I also have some coins converted to hashing power in hashnest and BW.com but it has to be monitored else you will suffer a loss instead.  Grin

Unlike fiat currencies, I cannot park these coins into banks backed by governmental institutions. I put my fiat currencies in banks or blue chips but I cannot do it with cryptos.

So, what do you do with your idle coins? Let it sit around?

I would leave those there who those are and would take all the others from the places where there are and put the last ones where are the firsts and will leave there. I would forget about those since will be the time to convert. When the price of bitcoin will be the price you want or you think that is enough to make those in the needed currency at the moment of change.
1743  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there a mobile phone operator that accepts Bitcoin? on: October 03, 2015, 03:55:57 PM
In my country no one speak about bitcoin. It was spoken only one or two time in the news of one private television and that's all. No chance to be accepted by some business. Any kind of business. Phone operator included. Even some of those are world providers like Vodafone or TM of Deutsche Telekom.
1744  Economy / Economics / Re: Good read on the future of the dollar on: October 03, 2015, 03:01:39 PM
IMO this is one of the more insightful and succinct recent analyses of the Economist magazine (the last defender of the modern world system:)
http://www.economist.com/news/leaders/21669875-americas-economic-supremacy-fades-primacy-dollar-looks-unsustainable-dominant-and

From the article:

"For 70 years the dollar has been the superpower of the financial and monetary system. Despite talk of the yuan’s rise, the primacy of the greenback is unchallenged. As a means of payment, a store of value and a reserve asset, nothing can touch it."

"The dollar has no peers."

Despite the subsequent analysis and the dual conclusion at the end of article those above are the most significant words about the us dollar. It was, it is and it will be even for more time to come the king of currencies. Its power is supported by the strength, the agility and the potential to restructure in a fast way itself in moments of crisis, of its economy. To not forget here the almost total dominance in the military field of its country.
1745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: October 03, 2015, 12:53:27 PM
If someone which follows the set of rules and be discipline enoff. Can people make 50-100 $ a day just gambling in online casino.....?

Never cannot be profit, and for more regular profit as is told by main post of this thread, from gambling. In long term, for sure, it will be loss of money, loss of all the money with which will be gambled. I know real examples of this what I am telling. Everyone which tell the opposite lie. For the simple reason that all the games in gambling are regulated to give some money (few) and give some others (most). The second case (must) overcome always the first. Cannot be different. So, even someone earn some days will lose everything the next ones. All.
1746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: October 03, 2015, 12:48:01 PM
hello everyone.
i want to know what do you think about gambling bitcoin.. Does Beneficial or more losses?
Share your story here guys!  Grin Grin Grin

I don't gamble because I hate it. It is an invention to steal money. And I earn money working hard. So, I don't have money for the owners of the casinos or online casinos. But I can bring here the example of one my cousin which gamble for a limited time betting in soccer. He had terrible loss of money. He has yet today (after 5-6 years after leaving  the gambling) debits to pay. It is the most representative example of what is the gambling.
1747  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: # of bitcoin FINITE??? on: October 03, 2015, 12:39:41 PM
This is a pretty old article (September 2014).
Although the number of bitcoins is finite, it doesn't automatically mean that bitcoin's price will shoot up if adoption increases. You could have bitcoins circulating at a faster rate.

wider adoption means more people spending their coins, but also more people holding their coins in the hope the price increases. and by the time wallstreet pops up and start with buying up plenty of coins the price will shoot up like a rocket.

Correct the reasoning of pattu1 according to me. But even it wasn't true this, even the circulation, I think, cannot stop the increase of price. The number of people in the world it will be much higher and every day will be new people in the world of bitcoin and new people which born. Those factors will be more important in question of the price of bitcoin than the fast circulation. In this way they will eliminate day by day the fast circulation and will increase the price of bitcoin.
1748  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing in what porfo is good in the period of stagnation on: October 03, 2015, 12:22:44 PM
Hello everyone, I want to know if it is good to invest on what goods while there is stagnation in economy, for example is it good to invest on  real state, Gold, buying stocks...? Suppose stock market has been collapsing for 1 year and real state market prices stop and decreased. What decisions are considered intelligent decisions?

where you make this investements?
In what country? How many funds you have?
There are a lot of question to ask before saying an option... what is good in China is not good in Africa... and so on...  Wink

Correct. But if you need (want) to invest in something that is worth in every country and every time you can invest in bitcoin. The price of bitcoin will grow and will go high. Being a limited number of coins and being spread every day more its value will more and more high. This will be reflected on its change with the other currencies. The only problem is that this kind of investment is long term investment (for sure). Maybe very, very long term. There can be high values even soon but for sure can be told only that it is a very long term investment. So if you want to do such investment buy bitcoin as you want or the amount of money who want to risk in this kind of investment and send them to your wallet. Then forget them. Remember only when the change with the other currencies has reached the value wanted by you. Change those and you will have you profit.
1749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A gram of gold is 0.035274 oz. The minimum bitcoin transaction is 0.0000543 BTC on: October 03, 2015, 11:57:38 AM
A gram of gold is 0.035274 oz. A gram is the minimum unit commonly traded. The minimum bitcoin transaction is 0.0000543 BTC and should have a name as well. This minimum unit is most commonly used for creating contracts.

I think this amount can be another in the times to come. I remember the fee at my blockchain wallet and bitcoin core wallet two years ago. Were higher than today. In this way if it will be a bilateral name choice may be useless after some time.
1750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: October 03, 2015, 11:28:10 AM
Hi! Cheesy

I recently created a thread asking for the best methods of gaining free Bitcoin.

Most popular results:
  • Signature Campaign (High Paying)
  • Faucets (Low Paying)
  • Trading (Variable)

Now, I'm asking a different question.
What are your best methods of growing Bitcoin.

Only refer to safe investments!

Thanks

The only way to have a safe investment is to leave your bitcoins in your wallet and to wait the future day when the price will arrive the price you wanted to sell those (or differently - to use those, because this is an way of using those). This price will arrive one day. The problem is when. This cannot be known. So if the owner of the bitcoins will be patient one day will have its profit. If not, will use (invest) those in other ways. All the other ways to invest, according to me, are very risky. I don't believe in any of those. So I don't suggest any other way to invest except the leaving of bitcoins in the wallet.
1751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need the bitcoin foundation to fix the blocksize problem on: October 03, 2015, 11:04:53 AM
The whole community has seen it: BTC has a problem. The world's markets are in turmoil and BTC, which should be some kind of a safe heaven to store your cash, pretty much like gold once was, isn't performing as hoped. Far from it actually, it's sinking because of the blocksize debate and the recent fork.

A solution would be a moral authority to take the difficult technical decisions, and that was supposed to be the role of the BTC foundation a while ago. Today unfortunately, many folks don't even know the existence of the foundation. Well, it still exists, right?

I hope the BTC foundation could help the community to put the blocksize debate behind us.

I think that no one do something. Not any human kind and not whatever bitcoin community. If they have decided (the main developers of bitcoin) to work separately (everyone for its choice) the discussion is ended. It is started the time of the work. They are working separately to fulfill that they want. Cannot be nothing and end of story.
1752  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin reach 500 USD again ? on: October 03, 2015, 10:57:20 AM
...and why do you think so ?

sure 2017 Smiley
$500 is not cheap for 1 bitcoin,, or 2020
we need stable at $300 for 5-6month before we rich $500
do not have to wait long to see the price above 300, I believe we will reach a price of 300 before halving

The problem is not the arriving of this price, I think, but the stabilization in the range of that price. It was arrived some weeks ago but yet go down and stay around 220-240 us dollar. If arrive the 300 us dollar have meaning to tell that it is in that price if stay there and move in the range 300-320 us dollar or even 290-310 us dollar.
1753  Economy / Economics / Re: Thoughts on "holding" Bitcoin on: October 03, 2015, 10:51:13 AM
When you're "holding" Bitcoin it tells me you're planning to sell them at a higher price. You're just holding them for now with no purpose behind it.

Are you "holding" US Dollars too? No. You're saving some and spending some.

Bitcoin is a currency so use it like a currency. If you're already doing that you should use better terms to describe what you're doing.

First of all I have bitcoin and plan to only hold those with the purpose to earn from those. I will know (theoretically) that one day the price of bitcoin will (can) go high. I don't know the time in which this will happen but I know (hope) that will happen. That day i will have my profits. Maybe it will be a very remote day but I will wait. I have accepted this "waiting" the day I bought my bitcoin. And to be sincere I can have profit even if I sell those today. Because I bought those about three years ago when the price was about 100 us dollar. Then I don't want to spend my bitcoin because I have bought those exactly for this reason: to wait the high price. The price wanted by me to sell is yet not arrived.

1755  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling sites offering free signup bonus? on: October 03, 2015, 10:29:50 AM
Are there gambling sites which offer free signup bonus in form of mBTC?

I do not mean a deposit bonus or something like that, but a free bonus short after registration to test the service.

Yes, it is natural. Those sites want players in their sites and use this kind of publicity to attract new players. A gambler is attracted without doubt by this kind of offer. Then after the loss of the bonus (because for sure he/she will continue to play since will lost all it) the player will continue to play with its money. This is the aim of the owner of the site. He will have in this way even the money of the player.
1756  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: October 03, 2015, 10:24:43 AM
i think it can rise upto 500 dollars but in a 5 -10 years bitcoin will die due to dollar.

Bitcoin will die never. It is the first product of one disruptive technology which will defend it at every cost. Then the qualities bitcoin have make it unique and very competitive with every kind of other currency.
1757  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitoin Online Poker Players Are Better- Is It True? on: October 03, 2015, 10:19:35 AM
Historically, I have been able to consistently turn a profit on online and real life poker games. In the realm of Bitcoin, however, I struggle not to lose my bank roll. My friend, who used to play at Seals with Clubs, started playing on Carbon Poker (large online poker site) several months back. He told me he was amazed at how bad everyone was. He was able to earn pretty consistently on SWC, but he told me that even at larger stakes, winning was so much easier.

Does anyone else have claims or thoughts on the idea? I assume that the demographic of Bitcoiners may be of higher intellect than the average population, but I have no proof to back up my claim.

I don't think that can be earned with gambling (including online poker) for to much time. Whatever it will the money used or whatever it will be the player. The end of a gambler is the loss of all the money (any kind of money) he/she/ have. Even he/she have profits those are only temporary and with the continue of playing, there will be the lost not only of of all those but the lost of all the money the player have.
1758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why not invest instead of cloudmining?? on: October 03, 2015, 10:09:23 AM
I want some views of bitcointalk guys here towards the quesrion why not invest instead of cloudmining??,

YouDEFEND it or REFUTE it..Huh

Post your views with DEFEND OR REFUTE and then <msg>

The cloud mining it is the first of choices which must be refused. All the clod mining sites or are scam or don't offer possibility to earn. As for investing it is much risky to invest in sites which act with bitcoin. Are new, without experience and most of those finish their activity very soon: wrong business plan and bankruptcy or are scammers. The most sure investment in bitcoin is to leave those in your wallet and to wait patiently the higher price when it will be. In that time you will have your profit.
1759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Realistically does bitcoin have any competition ? on: October 03, 2015, 10:03:14 AM
Practically bitcoin is a internet money. So, online money transaction providers are competitors for bitcoin.
1. Competitors for Bitcoin as a internet money : paypal kind of processors
2. Competitors for bitcoin as money transfer : western union
3. Competitors for bitcoin as investment : gold, shares
4. Competitors for Bitcoin as a payment processor : Visa, master card, Amex etc

paypal and others are just payment processors, so the main competition comes from fiat. and honestly I don't see bitcoin anywhere near fiat despite all of its good benefits.
also as an investment, while bitcoin has the possibility to give a good profit, at the same time the risk of losing a lot of money is also huge so I would consider other ways of investment instead of bitcoin.

The part in bold is correct according to me. I haven't heard in three years of my life with bitcoin any site which had offer profits consistently and regularly in bitcoin for a long time. Or that is live actually. Mostly of this kind of similar sites were scam which had scammed hundred and thousands of people. I think that the best way to have profits from bitcoin is to leave it in the wallet and to wait the increase of its price in the future.
1760  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learn lesson then Shine in trading on: October 03, 2015, 09:57:14 AM
Many people ignore trading of bitcoin just because of fear of loss.
But trading is the proven quick money making process, so for bitcoin too.
Either learn some lesson in text or in practice with your money or in trail account. Then we can shine in trading by making huge profits. Agree?

I am a nothing in trading so my thought cannot be make as a reference. I think that it is very hard to do trading and some lessons cannot offer the needed capacity to have profits. For more "huge profits". I can write impossible but can be someone very gifted that can arrive this but 99% of the others no. I think it is impossible. Needed a good adviser and to much practice to have the necessary abilities to earn almost continuously in trading.
