Finally sevilla team managed their first win after five rounds and it was a really tough on the countrary to the first half that had sevilla totaly dominating it, in the second one they almost lost their 3 1 lead and espanyol team almost managed to equalize, its an important win for the team moral.
Its no surprise at all seeing Sevilla get all three points from the game against Espanyol. The game was indeed tough for Sevilla but they showed good character and composure and took their chances at goal when they had to and got the results they wanted. The coach will be very pleased with the team's performance and hope to go into the next games feeling confident from this victory. |

I don't think that Chelsea are thinking of making a big striker signing for now. They have already signed Aubameyang and they would like to see his performance first. If he performs poorly until January then maybe they can try to go for a big transfer move. Ronaldo might be seen like an option but I don't think so. He would cost them too much and there is no guarantee if he would play better than Aubameyang.
By the way Aubameyang is really disappointed to see Tuchel being sacked. He came here for Tuchel in the end but the team are trying to reassure him for the time period ahead. Hopefully it wouldn't be a factor for him to start playing badly.
One of the shortcomings of chelsea this season is a central striker, after the departure of Lukaku automatically makes the stock of strikers that chelsea currently has is limited and that's why they signed aubameyang at the close of the transfer market this summer, chelsea who often plays attacking with both wings of course is not too focused on get a new striker unless later Aubameyang performs not according to their expectations. Aubameyang agreement to Chelsea was none other than the Tuchel factor, but unfortunately they have only worked together in one game this season and obviously it was a big disappointment for Aubameyang. Antony is another very interesting transfer as Manchester United will have spent 100 million euros in total with bonuses. He has a big responsibility to show a solid performance as people are following him closely.
Its just a silly transfer though. Im not saying that Antony is a bad transfer but the amount is just silly, he is not worth more than 50 for sure. Ajax is literally trying to hike as high as they can because they know Ten Hag will sign him whatever the cost and business wise, Ajax did a great job though. Its interesting that he scored on his debut though but being consistent is totally the main point of signing a 100 million player Man United always buy players at too high a price, so it's not the first time I've seen Man United buy players too expensive. Harry Maguire and Jadon Sancho are other examples of players Manchester United bought for too high a price. Antony is indeed a good player, it is proven that Antony made a big contribution when he played at Ajax. But the price of 100 million euros is too expensive for Antony, I agree with you Antony should be 50 million euros. That's because Man United's management moved slowly at the start of the transfer market this summer, Man United started to be very active at the end of the transfer market when it was about to close. These are still active moments for Newcastle. They have reached an agreement with Karius and very close to finishing Grimaldo deal as well. Maybe these are still not incredible transfers for them considering the enormous transfer budget they have currently. But they are building a squad which is of decent quality to have a better season. For now things aren't well for them after getting 4 draws in 6 games. They are trying to create a solution to this by making good transfers. Grimaldo is a good choice but I don't know about Karius. Liverpool and Chelsea who suffered defeats in the UCL, while in the league they are still not consistent on an uncertain victory.
The two teams performance have been poor this season, Chelsea have lose few of their matches and struggled to win some of them, Chelsea have been performing below my expectation this season which leads to sack of their coach Thomas Tuchel, I just hope Chelsea New coach will change thing's for them, I know it won't really be easy for him with Chelsea current condition, but am sure with tone he will be able to get things together and Chelsea will be back to track, the season is just beginning so anything can still happen. It's surprising that Chelsea and Liverpool's performances this season have been so inconsistent in the Premier League. Then both of them also played badly in the Champions League. Even though both of them brought in good players in the transfer market this summer, both teams should be able to show a better performance than the previous season. Especially Chelsea who spent a very large transfer fee, no wonder the Chelsea owner was very angry when Chelsea performed poorly this season, until finally Chelsea changed their coach. But it's no guarantee that Chelsea will do better with the new coach, because Tuchel is actually a great coach, it's just that too many new players haven't adapted. Tuchel should be given the opportunity until the end of this year to improve Chelsea's form, it's really unfair to sack Tuchel too early. But after all the decision has been taken by Chelsea to make Graham Potter as the new coach. I hope Chelsea can do better with a change of coach, because if Chelsea can find the best form, competition in the Premier League will be much more interesting. Chelsea and Liverpool have droppped drastically in form and I still can't trace the possible cause of their decline. Chelsea have spent quite a lot of money on transfers this summer and yet things are still the same which has resulted to the sack of Tuchel, we shall see if things will be different with the new boss. In the coming window we shall see if Chelsea still have interest in getting Ronaldo to wear the blue shirts. Ronaldo is aged now but I still have much faith in him and believe with the right environment and right energy around him he still has a season or two to perform and I also believe he will improve the squad and strengthen Chelsea's attack especially now that they have Aubameyang and Sterling in the team.

The possibility is definitely there and indeed I still feel it will be more difficult if there is a storm of injuries.
Their front line is still not tidy at the moment and Jota is also still in the healing phase so it is still difficult for them now.

I guess that they are playing worse than they really are, that is the problem. People are finding the trouble with Liverpools roster, but the problem is not the roster but how they play. Look at Van Dijk, that dude was the best defender in the world for a while and now he plays like he doesn't even want to defend, and look at Salah, at a tiny moment in history, he was the best player in the world, he was overrated if you ask me but he played amazingly, now he does nothing. Just losing Mane can't make them this bad, he wasn't the real reason why they were good, of course he was great but not this much. They will recover and be better again if you ask me. In this case, I think Klopp should give more direction to T. Alexander Arnold and Andrew Robertson who work at left and right back. They help attack which is very good but on the other hand they also have to pay attention not to be too focused there because indeed if they are too focused on attack it is clear that this is something that happens over and over again because Van Dijk, Gomez and Fabinho clearly will not be able to provide the best defense when they play. Liverpool's left and right backs are up front. Some Liverpool goals occurred because the defenders were in front and were late to return to position so that the opposing players were free to make goals. The weaknesses in Klopp's strategies have been exploited this season, they have conceded more goals already this season than they conceded in the 6th round of the league last season which to me is not so good to start the season. It will good for Klopp if he can find the balance of the team and improve those weak spots and get back to winning. |

Munich's record is still good because it is unbeaten in 5 matches. it's just that Munich drew 2 times. and it shows Munich has a consistent game. no wonder always a favorite for champions every season. especially Munich is the team that has scored the most goals in the first 5 matches. no one has rivaled Munich in terms of scoring goals. For several years Bayern Munich have dominated the German league and conquered other teams in the league with back to back winning of the trophy. They are the kings of the Bundesliga and it kind of feels like nobody can take it away from them. In the several matches that have been going on and played by Barcelona, the most active and also seen is Lewandoski because he is able to give a good performance and also carries out the strategy of the Barcelona coach so that other new players that Xavi also brought to Barcelona seem invisible and have nothing to show. It seems a little strange even though Lewandoski is a player worthy of praise for Barcelona. You can't say Rafinha has not been doing well,if you take a look at the matches played with Rafinha,you will see hundred percent of his contribution and the good assist be gives from the flank.Rafinha is the person responsible to Lewandowski's success so far at the camp nou.The combination of the two is perfect. The Fulham game in three days is going to be Chelsea's first official game after sacking Tuchel. Let's see if there will be some change in their performance. Aubameyang needs to adapt as quick as possible to be a solution to Chelsea's scoring problems. More importantly the team need to play better as a whole. Fulham wouldn't be an easy opponent for them. Fulham were nearly even defeating Liverpool before. Mitrovic is in a great form these days so Chelsea defense will need to be very aware. I still want to believe that this could be the game to improve their morale.
Fulham achievement so far is not really bad although they had lose several times from big teams but compare to other promotion teams Fulham had better position than them and Chelsea had serious internal issue after Tuchel sacked so they have to get new manager immediately and for this match Chelsea have to be careful playing against Fulham on their home ground because Fulham always be playing good as a host even 2 wins so far they get in home so this match won't be easy for Chelsea Compared to Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest, Fulham is a promoted club whose performances are quite good. Especially when playing at home like you said Fulham played quite well and were unbeaten, even Fulham can draw with Liverpool, then Fulham can beat Brighton and Brentford if they play at home. So when Fulham this week face Chelsea, at least Chelsea must be careful, especially Chelsea experiencing internal problems with the sacking of Tuchel. It is possible that Chelsea will face Fulham with an interim coach, and it is possible that it affects the morale of Chelsea's players. So it might be difficult for Chelsea to beat Fulham in such a situation, especially since Fulham always play well at home. So my prediction is that the Fulham vs Chelsea match will end in a draw. Fulham have been surprisingly good this season. At the beginning of the season I predicted Nottingham Forest to be in the place of Fulham especially after signing 21 new players this summer but I was disappointed, Nottingham Forest are losing games every week,the only game I was so certain of a win and all three points after a 2 nil win over Bournemouth in the first half they lost the game in the second half after conceding 3 goals to Bournemouth. Chelsea is showing their ambition. They are gunning for Titles, and can't afford a toothless coach to disrupt that plan. They have decided to part ways with Thomas Tuchel. Have you watched them recently? I recalled asking a fellow Chelsea fan of their creativity here. The results are better than the performance, how could a club with array of creative stars be having X.Gs in nos that are similar to the heart rate of a dead man. At the same time I blame the Owner, I mean why spending over 200m when you know you are not backing the manager for so long?? That’s not prudence of a business man.
And does the next manager guarantees them title? Tuchel is a great manager and I feel he should be given a bit more time. But I think something else must have gone wrong after the defeat, maybe some kind of argument between the manager and board and that lead to Tuchel's departure. Fofana , Sterling were the signings that Tuchel wanted but the exit of Tuchel without them allowing him time to experiment the new signings is something that is hard to swallow. I think something crazy went down behind the scenes that lead to Tuchel's departure. Tuchel is no toothless coach as you say... I think he has great eye but like every manager he also needs time to settle things and that is something that board usually doesn't give. Tuchel came in as manager and won CL with Chelsea which is historic... They were the underdogs in that CL and came out as winner. I am sure the earlier owner would still have allowed some time to Tuchel. Honestly Thomas Tuchel is a good coach and very experienced for that matter, winning the Champions league two seasons ago was really exceptional and I think he deserved to be given more time to work on the team and get them back to winning again. I really don't know what happened it could be because of the kind of comments he makes at the end of their games, Liverpool have similar issues and still haven't sacked Jurgen Klopp. |

Arsenal are currently struggling to win matches because they refused to make a deadline day signing,and I won't too blame them because when they wanted to make a last minute signing of Douglas Luiz of Aston Villa,their coach Stephen Gerard did not support the sales,and it might just simply be for the reason that Arsenal won them the night before deadline day transfer ended.They lost Thomas Partey to injury,lost Elneny too to injury,and currently have only inexperienced Sambi Lokonga and Granit Xhaka in the team to fill up the midfield space and that made them lose the match to Manchester United on Sunday.
Arsenal are not struggling to win games, from the preseason until now they have lost just two games out of 12 or 11 which is a very good form for a team that finished 5th in the league. I fact Arsenal have being outstanding recording 5 wins in a row in the league this season, something even as good as Manchester city couldn't do, yes they couldn't get deadline signings but they they seem to be in good shape. |

Sacking coaches isn't a good record, Roman Abramovich was guilty of that, I didn't think Todd Boehly would follow the same footsteps as his predecessor. I feel this is the wrong time to sack Thomas Tuchel. Chelsea spent money signing players for this same coach. They should have let him go during the break, Tuchel has lost only 16 matches out of 100. He has a good record, I don't think he has done anything bad. He's had a fantastic run in this short period of time.
A team can't win all the time, remember how Liverpool had a slump after an enchanting season, but no one fired Klopp. Tuchel is a great coach, although he is still young, he has already proven that he can win with the Champions League team, this is an excellent result. There is no need to put pressure on him, new players have come to the team, they need time to adapt, dismissing Tuchel would be a big mistake. It seems Todd Boehly is scarier than Roman Abramovich, because as far as I can remember Roman Abramovich would still give their failing coach time to finally choose to fire him. But what Todd Boehly did with Tuchel was a decision that I thought was unreasonable and very bad, because Chelsea I can say is good because they have only lost a few games. Basically, Tuchel still needs a little more time to make Aubameyang have a good chemistry at Chelsea, at least Todd Boehly should appreciate Tuchel who has given the trophy to Chelsea quickly. Where at that time the Chelsea situation was chaotic and Tuchel managed to resurrect Chelsea and won the Champions League title and worse, when the Roman Abramovich case was the impact of the Russian war, in fact Tuchel still gave the best for Chelsea. But Todd Boehly doesn't seem to have considered the matter, quite unhappy about this news. It seems like Thomas Tuchel didn't have a great relationship with the owner of the club. I think Tuchel lost interest in Chelsea after the takeover. He doesn't have synergy with the players, Chelsea has a good squad but we don't get to see these players play at the level we expect. I didn't really saw this one coming, Thomas tuchel is not bad a coach but I think the new owners are seeing pep guadiola and kloop are far ahead of him, and he wants someone that is similar to them, someone like Conte, another issue I think is the too much complaints tuchel of complaining he is always full of excuse, before the season even start he has said he does not have players that are ready to play for the club, he is saying this after he let go of players like Lukaku and Werner so I think the new owners are tired.
Chelsea has history of impatient with coaches and Tuchel is only another victim of Chelsea. Tuchel with his career is a good coach and he has done great things in Chelsea. Without Tuchel I imagined Chelsea would have not won their second Champions League. I see in the past season, Tuchel and Chelsea had a very bad season and very first matches in this season are just too bad. Moreover the outstanding performance of Manchester City means Chelsea is falling too far from City on the table. All of these cause the sack of Tuchel. The premier league actions getting more interesting and I'm fully aware that Manchester city will take no much time before they are on top of the premier league table. They had happens to be the only team that are unbeaten and City boss, Pep Guardiola won't record a loss, not untill 10 games unbeaten. Pep is second on the table and Arsenal just topping them with just a point. City have the required qualities of Players in the club and they all play an essential role in games inother to lift the EPL cup. More actions coming in for the clubs and let's hope for City to be on top.
I think you didn't do your research very well,if not you would have know that Tottenham Hotspur are also unbeaten this season also, for me this season will be very tough for everyone, I agree here that Manchester city are the favourite to lift the trophy but am not disputing the fact that other teams are up for it too, one thing is certain this season is not going to be a two horse race between Liverpool and Manchester city, this season will be tough and team like Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur can come up as dark horse and win it. It is impossible to predict which team will win the title this season. Arsenal were in very good form. They won the first 5 matches. But in the sixth match they were badly defeated against Manchester United. On the other hand, United started the season badly but they are now in very good form. The performance of Manchester City and Tottenham is quite good. But the squad of Liverpool and Chelsea is not stable. It won't be clear which team is better suited for the title until a few more weeks pass. TBH the league is very competitive this season, who would have thought that out of 19 clubs in the league,that Manchester United will be the club to end Arsenal unbeaten run, it's so interesting that by Monday I'm already waiting for the weekend to come again. For the title, Chelsea have to do a whole lot better than they are now to even finish top four this season. |

It seems that AS Roma can't keep their points, this crushing defeat is very unfortunate. I don't see AS Roma like in the previous games, this game they really had a problem. They even minimal in creating opportunities.
Back to the problem that we often see in Serie A, where a team that has earned trust cannot maintain that trust properly.
I think, Roma coach need to do something fast that will make the team not to loose their next match because many fans are not happy about the 4-0 Udinese defeated them. Udinese strikers really surprised people in this game, because many people predicted for draw 1-1 because they know that Udinese defenders cannot stop Roma strikers not to achieve a goal from the match but Udinese defenders made the match difficult for Roma strikers not to score any goal through out the match. Ronaldo was at his peak 4 years ago at the World Cup in Russia, but it still wasn't enough for Portugal to come even close to a chance to fight for the title of world champion.
Ronaldo today is not even a shadow of that Ronaldo from 4 years ago and realistically Portugal is not one of the favorites of this world championship.
I think the situation is very similar with Argentina and Messi.
In my opinion, the main favorites of this world championship are Brazil and France, and Spain, Germany and England also have good chances.
I believe the Portuguese national team and the Argentine team can still play well without Ronaldo and Messi. Both Ronaldo and Messi are past their prime. They cannot to be expected to play and put up the kind of shows we were used to seeing whenever they play. These two legends still have a lot to offer in the Argentine and Portuguese team respectively. . |
