The premier league matches this weekend have already been postponed as a sign of mourning the death of the queen of England, Queen Elizabeth II. The decision to postpone the events was passed by the English government in a 12 day mourning week. I can't believe there won't be league games this weekend, this will be a boring weekend for me, I can feel it already.

that's not a problem for me as UK was losing its queen. No doubt if UK's government was also passing it to delay EPL for a few days to give a huge respect to the queen that already passed. This week will not be so boring for you. you can still watch another competition in another country. They were not getting delaying like any competition in english. I meant we can still watch la liga and serie a. It was not so boring as you said that above.

Many people agree and respect the decision to postpone the events, but several people there criticize and disagree because the future will make the schedule even tighter. Even so, this is the right time for big clubs to recover the strategy and recalculate the deficiency, this is the best event for Leicester to think about how to get the first win in the next 2 week because the squad is never get a win on 6 matches, it is shamed for a club who stand on 8th on the last session.

I agree that Potter is not a bad manager, but so wasn't Tuchel, anyone who thinks that Potter is a better manager than Potter would be kidding themselves. Could the team get better? Of course it can, but so it could have with Tuchel. However the ownership deal is real, that is a problem because in the long run if the ownership doesn't let the football people take care of the football stuff and put a good amount of money to be spent, then this team will get worse and worse. Abramovich spent so much money on Chelsea to make them better, on the other hand current guy didn't do that and this is the real cause why they do not have proper transfers and better roster and these bad results.

edit: by the way, I do not mean "not spend money" as in he didn't make any transfers, they did, they spent quite a lot in fact, spent like 200 million to make the team better, but the problem is they didn't get players that are superstars, and instead got players for way too high price, just to get them. He did transfers to show the fans he is doing something, if he spent this much money, he could have gotten so many more players that were better and would be amazing branding too. Look at the list now, 280 million spent, none of the names are globally known, worst transfer season by a team I have ever seen.

I agree that Potter and Tuchel is not so far in term of quality, but I mean Tuchel already has his time and chance to proof himself, and I think it's not wrong for Tood Boehly to give another coach a chance with Chelsea. And I don't know what you mean by Chelsea didn't get any superstars, Sterling is quite a superstars in Premiere League.

It's true, even though they lost in the Europa League it shouldn't bring them down mentally. And the defeat at that time was because some of the players who used to be the main players were not sent down by Ten Hag. Actually there is no specific rule that sports should be suspended or postponed. So the decision is up to the individual organisers, including the Premier League and FA. So the decision to postpone Premier League matches is very reasonable and I think the alternative of postponed matches has also reached the agreement of all parties and of course it will not disrupt the way the league as a whole.

actually i don't think that potter will be able to bring chelsea much better than tuchel because potter is ex-brighton & hove coach, but the development of the team is not better

Todd boehley was taking a decision without trying to give at least a few last chances. The only problem is building the dream team is taking the time. How can a coach build the team once the owner can't even be patience for that? i know that if there are some successors of chelsea that came during the middle of season but that's depending on the team's luck.

The sports sectors are either owned by the government or by individuals who are regulated by the government, so the fact is even if the British government does not declare a public mourning clubs and tournaments organizers will do that just to honor the Queen who has put in 70 years out of the 96 years in serving Great Britain.

No doubt this move to postpone the league will affect clubs, either way, so the reality that in the next few days there will be no match in the premier league so the clubs have to use this time to prepare ahead and enough time for the new players to train more with their team members.
