Who is this guy, how does he know this? Wasnt the road map already released by the team? Pizpie is one of the top members of XC. Check official xc forums Yup, he is the Social Media Manager, if one was inclined to read the Team Announcement PDF put out a while ago, they wouldn't have to ask such questions.

an "x" should be the smallest denomination. an "Equi" I don't always purchase crypto, but when I do it's always Equis. Ugh, please no. I can't stand those commercials. They make me not buy their product.

Will the wallet stake if the wallet.dat is in cold storage?
It looks like mine staked while in cold storage. Already earned 115 XC from POS....not bad! How can your wallet stake if your wallet.dat is not on the machine running the wallet? Or do you mean that you have a copy of your wallet.dat in cold storage?

My wallet is ok, I sent coin to it. The mining icon is green, but the time remaining to get the reward is still to 25 minutes, after sever hour. Why? is it normal?
Hey splatters. Yeah, PoS is working perfectly, mining symbol is a bit bugged though, it always is a bit too optimistic ^^ ur coins could stake in 8 days(min period), but they could stake in 30 days(max period) as well. But they will, provided you unlock the wallet when you open it. 8 hours minimum not 8 days.

Just a heads up to everyone who plans to run XNode, if you follow the instructions according to the website, remember that your stake will reset even for remainder funds.
e.g. you have 1000 coins in your wallet and stake symbol is green, once you withdraw those 550 coins to another wallet, the remaining funds get reset for stake.
I just wish this information was clear from the get go, as i now start again from square one after waiting 3.5 weeks to stake my coins
Maybe you will get lucky this time and your coins will stake after eight hours (minimum time to stake). I thought that it was a well known function of PoS that if you move coins, it resets their staking maturity. Not to mention, that after your coins staked after 3.5 weeks, those coin's stake maturity were also reset. Hmmmm, after reading your post again, are you saying that if I had 100,000 XC and I transferred 550 to make an Xnode, that my remaining 99,450 would reset? Or is it because you had one transaction into your wallet for 1000 XC and then you sent out 550, which means that you had to receive the 450 back from your change address?

...Seems like the wallet is not doing absolutely nothing...
Oh, so it is doing something then.

It is not panic (well its a mix of both i guess), it the 10 top holders that are cashing out. Check richlist.
I don't understand. "Last change" of most of them is days ago Not to mention that "Last change" is also affected by staking your wallet.

Chaeplin is actually helping the coin, not hindering it.
It's like some of you don't want any testing or questioning, because you're scared of the price of your bag.
I'm holding a lot too and the only way the coin will move forwards is by rigorous testing.
Guess what, I hold DRK too. Am I now banned from the cult?
+1 I don't hold any DRK. And I see no reason to ignore relevant questions and testing because someone is not a solely devoted to XC. If users of DRK want to test, I think that is awesome. If our biggest critics test the anon features and can't find any more issues, what could be better than that?

Are you being impartial? Such a disappointment if not, I actually like your informative posts... P.S. Surely with your knowledge, you can differentiate between a regular wallet vs. an exchange wallet? It's a miner, these are generated blocks / coins. Exchanges don't mine. This is either the largest pool (>50% of the total coins) or the whale miner, in which case the address of the whale miner where he generated his coins is elusive to me but one could probably find out if he searched around the last POW blocks. He should be the most frequent finder of blocks. I'll take a look at it later. Dude we all make mistakes sometimes don't worry It looks to be suprnova's pool address. On multiple blocks (7379, 7514, 7643, 7828, 7997) there is a transaction from XP62zn3djch6W7kmfiTm3qrwjKCDqtTJBy to my mining address.

Hi thx for the reply,
If I save it as All files in properties it will stay anyway as a text file and not a .cnf file so do I have to put iit in the roaming folder just as a text doc?
thx
Rename it to X11Coin.Conf I did it it is named X11Coin.Conf but just changing the name of the file does not change the format. Does it need to go inside the roaming folder in .txt or in .cnf? you can check the type of file you have in properties of the file. I don't know. I don't know what a .cnf file is. I just created a new txt file and then renamed it and changed the extension from .txt to .conf.

It's saying minting as you can see. In every other staking coins i own when I have unmature coins it was saying "unmature coins" not minting.
PS: I have the latest release and .conf updated.
If you are minting, you have mature coins. It can take up to 30 days for the mature coins to stake. Yes, but look at the Expected time to earn on the screenshots. I don't think that is accurate, or if it is, there is a lot of variance, kind of like solo mining. My expected time to reward is 1 second, but I don't stake every second, I haven't staked for hours. Of course only only being 194 blocks in the last 15 hours doesn't help anything. At 90 second block times there should have been more than that found....like around 600, I think. This one isn't cool either. Confirmations are waaaaay to long actually. I guess it's because DEV has to rush in full POS. So only few wallets are keeping the network alive. I hear ya, it is annoying. Hopefully the PoS checkpoints that were added will fix the slow block times.

If anyone is having trouble locating their .config file. Worry no more! I have put together a quick walk through on what to do.
1. Go into your file directory and find the X11Coin folder. IE: C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData\Roaming\X11Coin
2. If you don't have a X11Coin.conf file, you can create one.
3. Open a text document and add the following: addnode=west01.xcnode.xc-official.com addnode=east01.xcnode.xc-official.com
4. Save the file as X11Coin.conf
5. Restart your client, make sure your wallet is encrypted and unlocked for staking.

I did that but i'm still stuck with staking what is the maturation time anyway? you have to tell it in OP. My wallet says it's minting from day 1 and never earner minted coin can you fix this bug please. I think its a typo bug but then I don't know if I have mature coins or not. You can tell if your coins have matured by opening your wallet and in the bottom right corner, hover your mouse over the mining icon (Beside the lock) and it will say if your coins have matured and if they are minting. Maturation time is between 12-24 hours. People have reported different times in that time frame. I put screenshots of this in my previous post it says i'm about to hit a POS but it never do. Money in wallet since 22/05, 5 figures. Like I said before: Min stake time: 8 hours Max Stake time: 30 Days The latest release on the previous page is supposed to help with staking.

And you will have to enable the option to show hidden folders to find "C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData\Roaming\X11Coin" unless you type in "%appdata%\roaming" in windows explorer.

To improve staking, I've updated several things in the new release available at http://xc-official.com/release/client-mixer-v10.zip or http://xc-official.com/release/client-mixer-v10.rar - Please update your X11Coinf.conf in the %appdata%\roaming to include these 2 nodes. I will be deploying several more - the latest client (posted above) also includes PoS checkpoints. Please download the new wallet, update your conf file. addnode=east01.xcnode.xc-official.com addnode=west01.xcnode.xc-official.com <Example X11Coin.conf> listen=1 rpcuser=changethis rpcpassword=changethistoo addnode=east01.xcnode.xc-official.com addnode=west01.xcnode.xc-official.com So people shouldn't run the bat file that is in the zip file, right? It has the testnet flag. Or is this wallet release just for testing? I'm a bit confused. no need to use the bat file for staking purposes with this release. Just run the wallet and give it time to sync That is what I thought, but I think a lot of people are used to running the bat file to make sure they get the right addnode. If they run this bat file they will be on testnet not the main.
