1741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: July 17, 2022, 11:50:43 PM
Fans would want to see the fight ending in a KO rather than the decision so once and for all controversy will be over. Both GGG and Canelo are great fighters and they have their own fan-based, so we cannot really prevent from people thinking that the decision was not fair because as a fan we are sometimes biased.

Yes a KO decisive match would be great at this match.

But for me, regardless of the winning method, the end result should be entertaining as long as the result is fair.

I'm fine with the decision result as long as all throughout the match, we will see lots of exchange blows between them.
1742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Gambling companies can get more uses to deposit. on: July 17, 2022, 11:49:08 PM
Reliability is a very important factor when choosing where to gamble. Players would likely to keep gambling on reliable casinos where they have build their trust after playing there for a lot of times. Since they have trusted the casino already, then there's no reason to find another place only to gamble. Also, these promo offers on deposits are important too since it will drive the interest of the gamblers, and also make the casinos more alive and very enticing to play.

Agree with. That's the start of the loyalty of the users on that site.

Regardless if there's a wonderful and big promotion at a new site, nothing beats the reputation that an old casino established throughout its operations.

Users will still play at these reputable ones over new ones, obviously because of the positive reviews that those old sites gather as they progress.
1743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Threshold of Loss in Gambling on: July 17, 2022, 11:46:24 PM
I think that threshold of loss various between gambler to gambler, it depends from his income ecc. About me, there isn't a threshold of loss, when I start to realize that I'm losing too much, I leave casino and go to have a walk, and will come to play in another day.

That should be.

When we are losing, just think of taking a break. It's hard to follow a certain threshold since there's always a temptation to pass our limits once we reached that point. Since we are ignoring what should just be the supposed bankroll on that day, then the best thing to do is to become responsible to stop.

Take a break then come back, later on, to see if luck is now on our side. Then if the same case happened, just repeat.
1744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Fengshui on: July 17, 2022, 11:43:19 PM
So you see even if everything depends on luck and circumstances there are many people even non-Chinese are following Fengshui practices.

Since it's luck maybe these people are finding ways how to make that luck comes to them.

Not wrong after all as what if, even though there's no explanation about it, they are really lucky to using those feng-shui practices.

I guess we just have to leave it that way and let them do what they want.
1745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 17, 2022, 11:41:13 PM
Either of the reason why he left Phoenix, he just want to be in a better place. I guess most of those players that really have the potential are starting to realize that they won't be going anywhere with PBA because it's always SMC and MVP teams are the ones taking the spotlight and championships.

As long as there are offers overseas, then a PBA player can consider grabbing it.

However, not all are receiving offers to play outside the country.

Either these players just have to accept that they should just stay in PBA since they have no choice after all.

I guess he'll just follow where Greg went for and this is going to be a domino effect and salary there is better compared to what they've got in PBA.

Matthew Wright is just leaving for his wedding.

He will be back next conference. Smiley
1746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This clearly damage the gambling. on: July 17, 2022, 11:37:42 PM
Cant really be happening on big leagues or events because it would really be seen by lots of fans overall the world

There are big consequences for players or teams that will participate in such activity. I'm sure they already know that.

Higher leagues won't ruin their reputation and if there's a confirmed reported case of fix match, the ban hammer and suspensions will be imposed right away.

Fixed matches happened but commonly, on small leagues and not that popular ones.
1747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Profitable are Gambling Bots? on: July 17, 2022, 11:32:46 PM
By using the bots, there will be no fun as you will not be gambling. Its the bot who will gamble on your behalf and you will earn/lose money.

Obviously, that's why the user used the bot to gamble the money on their behalf.

What's the connection between it on the fun part?

If it's winning or losing in the end, then that's the question and we don't know the result at the end. Users considering using bots not actually to make income out of it but just to follow a certain algorithm that the users want to apply to that game.
1748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 16, 2022, 11:57:47 PM
Possibly, so what are they waiting for, they should make an official announcement already so people will start buying tickets for the probable biggest fight of the year. Crawford vs Spence, this is the fight that we have been waiting for, and I can't accept if it will not be realized this year.

Don't mind the ticket sales. That bout is expected to be sold out just even minutes or a few hours before the announcement.

Here are the key reasons:

a) the fight was been anticipated for long
b) the fight was between two champions
c) Spence is the King of PPV
d) Crawford is currently at the top of the rankings

That's why even there's no official announcement yet, it will be sold out no matter what.
1749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 16, 2022, 11:50:34 PM
Ouch, anyway, it is what it is, so I guess we can say that we won't see Westbrook in Lakers uniform. Probably the same toxic environment as what Kyrie's situation in the Nets right now. And even though there is an assurance from their new coach that he will be in the starting lineup, Russ still wanted out of the Lakers. So, is he going to Rich Paul?  Wink

Not much detail is released to the public that's why we are ended up in speculations

The term "'irreconcilable differences'' does have many possible answers and if they tend to keep behind the doors, we have to leave it that way

Regardless if Westbrook will be traded or not, the Lakers are still Lakers. It's even better for me that WB will stay and do the experiment one more season as I'm sure WB is already used to playing with the Lakers even if it's just one season.

New acquired players, new coach, new system - they don't need another for it as chemistry will be in question again.
1750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People are not only gambling to win but they are buying entertainment on: July 16, 2022, 11:43:58 PM
This is where a person turns from gambler to an addicted level.

It's not wrong to become addicted as long as these people will stay at being responsible. Even losing lots of money, as long as it won't affect their daily lives at worst, they are free to spend and risks how much money they want. They know how to handle the big loss and that's good.

Didn't you know that professional gamblers are addicted gamblers but still they remain to be professional and even able to make out of a living with gambling?

Gambling is not controlling us, it's ourselves to be blamed if we end up wrecked.
1751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Kazuto Ioka vs Donnie Nietes II on: July 16, 2022, 11:39:48 PM
He lost on their first encounter so he made an adjustment, if only Nietes was younger, he could have won the fight. But as we all saw, it was pretty evident that he slowed down, he also lose a bit of power from his punchers that's why IoKa continues to get aggressive.

It makes sense. At least, everyone including me don't buy the age idea as an advantage until we saw the fight.

I really don't consider age as a factor if the boxer on the topic is still deadly in their previous fights prior to that loss which happened to Nietes and one good example too, is Nonito Donaire.

Ioka is also on the goal of revenge and that's a title defense so we can expect that he will do his best to retain his title.

The crowd was also on his side and even without involving the Science here, the crowd favored a boxer can give them the boost they need to defeat the visitors.
1752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This clearly damage the gambling. on: July 16, 2022, 11:35:37 PM
I really think this damage the trust in the sports bets , or anything related to the sport gambling, i know a lot can say its a kind of protest but still really unclear.

Why generalize everything just because of that video?

What does it have to do with damaging the trust in sports bets? That incident won't create a domine effect in sports betting since, in the first place, that's not even a high premier league. The reputation of that said league in the video is now ruined.

If that league is serious, they should give heavy sanctions to those who were involved in that dirty play. Can't believe these people set it up in an obvious way.

Not a good performer or actor lol.

Does anyone have an idea of where Matthew Wright plays?

I have read on my social media newsfeed where coach Topex announced right after their blowout win against Converge that it was Wright's final game in the PBA.

If indeed this was true then it could be that Wright will be playing in Japan B-League where rumors came out last year.

He won't be playing somewhere else. I stumbled upon that news literally just now on my Facebook newsfeed and the caption was, Matthew Wright will leave the country for the long-postponed plan of his wedding on the 24th in the United States.

Since I was curious, I searched for some links to share here. I think the news was already spread out in PH local sports news.

Wright plays Phoenix farewell game ahead of long-postponed US wedding
1754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Gambling companies can get more users to deposit. on: July 14, 2022, 11:51:12 PM
^ Most casino doing this has shady activities, they won't let their users cash out and it requires KYC verification. They must be avoided if we heard stories like this. A contest like wagering contests may also user deposit more since they know that they will have a chance to win if they wagger more and achieve the requirements, possible those contest will make gamblers deposit more and more.

In the first place, why do these users have to end up using these sites?

I can't even think of a way why they encounter those sh*tty sites first compare to the reputable ones. With just a quick Google search, it's easy to find reputable sites. Lots of accusations now regarding unfamiliar sites was raised since then.

Don't worry about KYC for now. It's not that it will be implemented by force. Just go with the flow and play on our usual to our preferred gambling sites.
1755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: July 14, 2022, 11:48:15 PM
Moreover, Canelo is seating at the peak of his prime while GGG is at the peak of the retirement stage. Still, the said factors won't guarantee one's success and only time will tell which one of them will win at the end of the day.

Yes, I can't apply that factor to GGG. That aging boxer and future HOF still has lots of gas left on his tank. Even Canelo is enjoying his prime days currently, I don't see him as a major big wall for GGG. Currently, I'm sure that both camps are preparing well for their trilogy. Time flies so fast and around 2 months is real quick. They are not wasting time fully enhancing their strategy and everything that they think is an advantage for their fight.

And since they have already met twice before, they might refer to those previous fights as thinking of a new strategy to win. Canelo's previously losing his match against Bivol might be the best reference that GGG can watch. There are lots of flaws there that Canelo although the question is, can GGG do the same?
1756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some Popular Themes for Online Slot on: July 14, 2022, 11:42:13 PM
But, just want to say (F*ck the themes) ~XD I even playing some unknown theme and worst animation slot. The reason want to play the slot, just because the provider & game we can prediction for average hitting scatter and have a big max win multiplier.

I understand your point of view here but maybe it's too much of the feedback to say themes are sh*t. If themes do have a poor interface, how can we even trust their provider if they can't put any effort into making it good looks and better which should be a simple thing to do. That's basic and a must at all game providers as the goal is to attract more users with these stunning slots themes.

But as far as most popular game providers are concerned, I have never seen a worst theme at this point.

And if I do, I will never play there regardless of how good the RTP is. Lots of games are available around instead of playing there.
1757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can You See Or Tell If A Fight Or Event Is Fix ? on: July 14, 2022, 11:37:53 PM
The catch is to protect the entire league and to be aware all the teams that the investigation is already running and facilitators are already tracking down the people behind of this possible game fixing activities.

That might be possible that things are not disclosed to the public to protect the league but all are informed that they will not tolerate such activities and will penalize all the involved persons. They will do the investigation behind the table as making some noise about it might affect the reputation of the league and people will think that it's not a trusted league anymore.

But even if that's possible I'm sure such things are not always happened. Big leagues always do anything to protect their reputation and most of the participating teams and players are involved in shady activities as they also protect their respective careers and fame, especially for popular ones that might also have commercial investments and product advertisements.
1758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 13, 2022, 11:55:46 PM
If they are really targeting the month of October then I do think that they should've been done already with their talks as it's we are now in July, so less time to prepare if indeed the fight will happen somewhere in October.

Both parties know the status of the ongoing negotiations therefore they might be preparing now even before the official announcement.

It's not that everything will just begin to prepare after they announced the official status of the fight. Preparations are surely in progress now as we speak and they didn't just announce it. Don't know what other things are left to be fixed but let's trust the process.

Even if they will announce it in August and the fight is supposedly in October, it's just fine and no worries about the preparation time.
1759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Kazuto Ioka vs Donnie Nietes II on: July 13, 2022, 11:50:34 PM

The scores are very gap. The fight was clearly dominated by the Japanese fighter. Nietes really struggles but can't believe he still remains standing to the last round even though Ioka is aggressively trying and attempting to take him down at any cost.

Ioka is the clear winner and congrats to him. Big respect.

Nietes doesn't have to think too much of this loss. He did his best and will remember in PH boxing history.
1760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Grand Lotto Winner on: July 11, 2022, 11:21:11 PM
I hope that the Lotto organizer never mentions their names since these people who just had a life-changing experience could be in danger if they ever revealed their names.

Prior to that, there are several people who won the jackpot too within just a few months.

Don't worry, if you are not used to following the PCSO lottery, they never ever tell or mentioned the names of the jackpot winner in the public. I'm sure you are watching some news before and you don't remember that PCSO named the jackpot winners.

If they will be in danger, then they can't control it anymore. They just have to keep it secret as much as they can and always be safe. But personally, for me, that's not the issue they will face but surely, if they will be known as a jackpot winner, lots of people and strangers might try to ask for "balato" on their home. Another one is, and that's common here in PH, they will be having more relatives if you know what I mean. Cheesy
Even if their names are not mentioned in the news, their life could still be in danger knowing their neighborhood will spread the news, for sure a lot of them were eyeing the new millionaires. Either they will ask for some "balatos", or worst some eyeing them to steal some money. That is why most of the grand lotto winners just leave their homes so they won't get in troubled, or have some vacation in other countries so they can stay away from those scammers.

That's why I said that if there's a danger they can't control it anymore. They don't know what will be on people's minds.

For sure, better than anyone else, these winners already know the risks and will try to keep it secret as much as they can. But since secrets are bound to be revealed, the winners might have some plans already on how they will keep their families safe.

As for me, if I will experience that, of course, I will set a plan for our safety. And I think unlike before, there are more options now on how to receive the money in the winner's preference. The physical appearance of the winners is just a mandatory requirement for verification purposes.
