1741  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Earnings from Axie Infinity and other NFT games are subject to tax, DOF said. on: August 25, 2021, 01:19:45 PM
May tanong lang ko mga kabayan. Diba yung Axie nag start around 2018. If ngayun lang ang isang Axie player na mag register at file tax report, are we still obliged or required to declare past earnings natin sa Axies nung 2018 onward (as well as other early play-to-earn games at crypto-related earnings)? Will there be harsh penalties or charges ba yung sa past, especially pag lampas na sa P250,000 ang annual net income?

It's just the same kabayan on our crypto earnings way back years. Wala silang hahabulin dahil in the first place, crypto games is not regulated. Different from the case of tax evaders na ang business genre already have an associated regulations dito sa atin like iyong sa mga artista, personalities, malaking company etc.

Marami akong kontra sa gobyerno pero I think naman it won't reach that far. They will just allow it just like bitcoin.
1742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sport booking odds discussion on: August 25, 2021, 12:05:01 PM
This thread is created primarily for sports booking online gambling sites that offer the best odds on football for the season. Let us outline our best odds offering site to help users choose the most profiting site to place the bet?

I think this will create a spam post. There are football-related threads around, why not just join the discussion there? Sticking with your favorite site too is good.

Disregarding the odds, more users tend to choose the reputation of the crypto sportsbook than the odds. A 1-2 difference is not really a matter most of the time if you are playing on your preferred and favorite sportsbook. Overall, the odds are almost the same with only a slight difference.

Same thoughts. I don't think IT will become an additional offensive threat for the Lakers. He hasn't been playing like he used to when he's in Boston.
But one thing I noticed about LeBron, he always like to have a veteran teammates. So, most probably IT would sign with the Lakers.
Well, IMO the Lakers should pursue for Beverly. I'd rather have another solid defensive guy to add up to the current Lakers roster. I also think the Lakers this year would be more focused offensively than defensively.

I believed Lebron has nothing to do with that. He won't influence that signing since they are already complete. Lakers' GM has the final say on that. Either Pat or IT, I think no one from them will become a starter. It's like the Lakers are now just filling the empty slots on the backup side so any players will do depends on the contract.

The Lakers should enhance Caruso and try to be the best backup for Russell Westbrook, not Pat or IT. He's not a scorer type but more of passing skills. He is also athletic but needs more consistency. That's what the Lakers need.

Did anyone watched the opening ceremony of the 2021 Summer Paralympics? I found it very interesting and was mostly performed by handicapped individuals. The theme of the ceremony was "We have wings".

I was a bit surprised when you say that the Paralympics opening ceremony was mostly performed by handicapped individuals. I mean, who else? Cheesy Anyways just kidding as I don't know if on the past ceremony, it wasn't mostly done by handicapped individuals.

I was able to watch the ceremony because it was spread to my news feed on Facebook and Twitter. The first time I watched the whole opening ceremony of the Paralympics event.
1745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: August 25, 2021, 01:39:31 AM
The higher bitcoin price will affect crypto gambling, but with many altcoins available on many crypto online gambling, it does not stop gamblers from using the altcoin to gamble.

Good thing there are alternatives. Fees really suck.

Just imagine recently, I'm trying to deposit ETH from an exchange on a gambling site the fees associated were 0.003ETH around $11. No choice but to convert it instead but obviously, that coin or token should also be listed on the gambling site.

Or if no choice but to face the $11 fees, I need to do a large deposit and not by batches to save fees at least.
1746  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Earnings from Axie Infinity and other NFT games are subject to tax, DOF said. on: August 25, 2021, 12:45:12 AM
Technically speaking, these are taxable. However, since it's crypto, it's not regulated here in our country so wag matakot sa mga tax.

Question:

At kung hindi man nila ma-ban yung game, will they consider playing axie as illegal?

Syempre hindi. Why Sky Mavis will pay for the tax e di naman sila registered company sa Pinas.

1747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anderson Silva vs Tito Ortiz on September 11 on: August 25, 2021, 12:19:37 AM
When the event date approaches they will add the betting line but do not expect huge odds on Anderson Silva as he will be the heavy favorite and there is no way Tito Ortiz is going to challenge him in any shape of form to expect an upset. My bet is Anderson Silva will win the fight even if he tie his one hand behind the back  Cheesy.

I think everyone here is not expecting a huge odds on Anderson Silva even at the start when they announced the fight. It was expected by the majority.

Who knows once the betting line release by most of the crypto sportsbooks, we can see other betting options for Anderson Silva like winning methods or on what round would be ended the mach. Better to choose those compare betting on Tito Ortiz unless a bettor is expecting an upset with great odds.
1748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: August 25, 2021, 12:02:39 AM
You need to bet 600usd for Canelo just to win 100 usd.. while you only have to bet $100 for Plant to win $400..Isn't that attractive already?
That's the price we are getting for now, but it's understandable as Canelo is having a great run for his career and it's his 3rd fight already this year.

As expected on the odds. Risky to put a high bet on Canelo but a higher chance to win. The decision should be wise.

Just recently watched Canelo's head swinging defense and it's perfect. I even think that's the best dodge style I saw on a boxer. How can you bet against this boxer for the sake of good odds on Caleb Plant. We are not ruling out the upset and it can happen but just can't think of a way how will it happened.

The distance is so wide between Canelo and Caleb.
1749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2020 caused a spike in gamlbing issues on: August 24, 2021, 11:43:50 PM
Should they stop watching sports forever as this is the trigger that causes them to gamble without control or should another solution be possible?

That's a bad idea.

Watching sports is part of entertainment and limiting these people to do it for the sake of controlling their gambling addiction will just result in much boredom activity. The only one to control is their gambling addiction and that's the part where it should focus. As possible, gambling support centers or any related fields should contact those gambler's families and close friends. They are the only ones who can help that gambler to minimize their gambling activity.

But in reality, even there's an effort to help the person, if they are not cooperating, it will take a long time to resolve the problem.
1750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 24, 2021, 10:59:15 PM
What do you think about this, does he deserved to get this big contract?

If it will be realized, Beal would get the biggest contract in the NBA history.

Yes, he deserved that. He's the only player I think that averaging 40+ points per game but his team always loses last season. He is almost close to a franchise player and his loyalty paid off.

But Wizards shouldn't stop on that. They are far from being a contender in a much weaker Eastern Conference. They should try to acquire a big name on the free agency or try negotiating with other teams.
1751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 24, 2021, 10:48:06 PM
That's what I read also, Thirdy Ravena is receiving a salary like the salary of June Mar Fajardo, imagine, for a rookie to receive like the salary of the PBA superstar in the Philippines, of course, anyone would be attracted with that and they will choose the B League to be their home because of a good opportunity that they offer to the Filipino imports.

As long as the player should also be good. Anyone likes to play outside the country with that salary but only a few are offered that contract.

PBA players can't just say they want to play if the scouts from the Japan B league or any other leagues are not interested in them.
1752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Analysts announce the start of altcoin season on: August 21, 2021, 04:27:29 AM
I can't consider altcoin season if there's a BTC price dominance prior. An altcoin season shouldn't be associated with a BTC price increase, therefore, altcoin season, if there's a trend like that, is not happening currently.

How can anyone claimed that the altcoin season has started if they were just brought up by BTC. That's the reason why I don't believe there's an altcoin season. There's no foundation for it. Once BTC crash again, altcoins will surely follow.
1753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 21, 2021, 04:11:18 AM
At least as fans, its going to be big this Christmas day, watching the games with your families and having some fun.

Even not on Christmas Day, and scheduled for other dates, Nets vs Lakers will still be big. At least they should give chance for the finalists the last Finals to play on Christmas Day as part of the recognization of their performance last season.

Phoenix and Bucks fans at least expect that they will allow it happened but it turned out not. Maybe next time if one of them will reach the Finals again although I don't see Phoenix Suns will make it for the 2nd time consecutively.
1754  Economy / Economics / Re: Why would people ever use bitcoin if its expected to always go up? on: August 21, 2021, 03:25:25 AM
If this were to be the case, why would people spend Bitcoin at all? In this theoretical time, wouldn't it just be a poor financial decision to do?

There should always be selling for bitcoin to have a good market circulation. If there are only a few who will use it, few merchants will accept bitcoin as payments.

In some cases, people need money leaving them no choice to sell it.

Others also want to take chances of the dip. Selling it at a high price they consider will give them a chance to accumulate more when the price goes dip.
1755  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: My Defi Pet - DeFi meets NFT on: August 21, 2021, 03:10:32 AM
Here's my take about the Defifailed Boss event:

I agree with some posts here recently that we should not take the game as a beta feature why lots of big bugs happened in the boss fight.

In the first place, it's a not a usual game bug as they put it up as an event. The error of failed transaction is a basic for a game developers na naghanda sa event lalo na't they understand how crypto works. Sinisi pa nila BSC network, mabagal na PC, mabagal na internet which I found incompentent dahil dapat di ganyan ang reasoning nila.

They not even admit na mali sila and instead they just posted that they will do maintenance and improvement. No mentioned of the word "APOLOGY" but only "THEY WILL COMPENSATE". Sana once it opened up again, tuparin nila iyong compensation and mas maayos na ang boss event.

KEEP IT UP MDP TEAM!
1756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT games also another way to gamble your money? on: August 18, 2021, 11:48:08 PM
They have to add feature of being viewable top games so that bookies will have their reference. I've seen Jihoz tweeted about different products so I think they're also thinking about it. Although, it's not included to the projects or products that he has posted but maybe there's an essence for it and they're looking after it too. But, they don't have to expose it right then.

On that part, we can't consider the gambling is not within the NFT games themselves.

If listed on betting sites, it's just the same as betting on sports. It's very different from what the topic is generalizing that NFT games are like gambling our money where in fact, it's not gambling after all since we are managing it and making sure that profits are sure.
1757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: August 18, 2021, 11:00:04 PM
Casimero's camp is very vocal and calling out Donaire.

Donaire is wise for me. He doesn't want Casimero to ride his name. Let's accept the fact that Casimero's fight is not profitable to the organizers. If Donaire will accept the challenge, he just takes Casimero into a much big paycheck.

Casimero's camp should pursue Naoya Inoue first, force a win, then have a unification match with Donaire. Donaire has no choice but to accept that.
1758  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: My Defi Pet - DeFi meets NFT on: August 18, 2021, 10:55:18 PM

Yes, there's a prompt for it. As stated, before you can deploy a pet, there will be a tagged as a worthy pet on the list. Based on the screenshot by the team, the prompt is "x5" meaning that's the damage that can be dealt with by the pet.

1759  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: stock between a Trade. on: August 18, 2021, 10:50:32 PM
Hello community of traders, am stock between the line, lately I have been trading in meme coins and have mastered some skills I developed. But this very moment am holding these meme coins and they both have done x price increase within the last few days and am thinking of converting all my portfolio to a less volatile crypto token and I don’t know which is the next big thing in the market to hold for some time?

Then take your trading and holding into the next level by choosing a good set of coins and tokens now. Meme coins won't help you much to improve your trading skills. You should always come out of your comfort zone in order to learn.

Try choosing on the Top 20 coins on Coinmarketcap or those Top 10 performing coins on a daily or weekly basis on the Binance platform.
1760  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: My Defi Pet - DeFi meets NFT on: August 17, 2021, 10:58:23 PM

Ano kaya ibig sabihin nito, simula na kaya ng battle at play to earn aspect of the game?

Yes mate. The first play to earn feature of the game. The reward here is DPET token. And the best part of it, it doesn't matter if your pet is rare or not. There's a thing called WORTHY PET and we will only see it once we now finally have a chance to deploy our pet.

For adventure more, the reward is their own in-game token but it will be released 4Q this year.

I thought itong Boss fight next month pa ilalabas. They really follow what's on their roadmap and that's good dahil dami nila reklamo about missing pets and compensations.
