Did TF reached out to you yet?
I think some of the Coinlender and Inputs members are putting a bounty on him.

The last thing I am going to do is step from one long con into another.
I will no longer do business with anonymous individuals/companies or with any company in which tradefortress is in any way involved.

Fair call, albeit implying we may be also be a con is a little uncalled for, however understand your resentment due to the past.

All credentials will be happily provided during any due diligence process.

We are simply looking to provide an alternative way forward that will provide current or past users the opportunity of redemption in some small way. As we are a registered credit lender one would hope that would eventually, if not from the outset, give a little more credence to previous users of the service.

It may be we simply provide a similar service without TF input, there certainly is that option available to us.

However, having the skeleton already built one can understand it makes some sense to use that as the basis of the next operation.

TF...if you are reading, please feel free to PM me if you would like to discuss further, as without your direct input we are not going to get too far with our offering.

As Sunny King continues to develop the new Peercoin client

Do you have any news about that? Probably even a date he is working towards? Can't wait for the new release. There are some very important new features in the pipeline.

Thanks again for your effort. You are doing a great job!

Can someone tell me more on the new features?
1745  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CoinLenders, Inputs.io, Tradefortress (HACK) on: November 21, 2013, 08:47:24 AM
Hey,
I just got registered to write about this topic.
There are about 300 coins sitting in my coinlenders account. I worked very hard for this and these are not only my own coins. This is sad and frustrating and this is a hard time for all of us.
I am just shocked and don't know what to do next.

Inputs was supposed to be so "secure" and still I never choosed to use it. And now we on cl might need to feel the pain of what happened.

I really hope for the best. And did not give up the hope and faith in this working out for the best in the end.

Also I think a sliding scale is not fair if that should be the fact in cl as well. Some people only put a small part of what they have in there. Others put ALL they have in there. There should be the full Pricipal or the same % for everyone be refunded.

Another thing is. Does anybody know how many actual inputs users there were? The numbers here do not measure up at all. So I guess there were many more using it and haveing a small balance in there.

And if cl really had xx,xxx btc running it should not be too much of a loss for each individual account if splitted up.

For the update TF said in about a week I think, which does not mean on monday, or am I missing something. So the e mail update is still in time..?!

Thank you so much for putting this together..I still don't know what to think and say to all what is just happening .. Sad

I feel the same way. It took me a long time to earn the 76 BTC in the CL balance.
Feeling really sad now.

Would love to make PPC fly to the moon, like BTC.
Told an investor from http://peatio.com about PPC today.
Let's hope they add PPC to the orderbook soon.

You can also provide me the credit licence details.
I have friends in Australia to validate it.

Please provide your email, and cell number so that we can contact you.
I can help to mediate this situation too if needed.
I'm still waiting for my 76 BTC to be returned by TF and it would be a shame if CL was to close down due to hacks.

Hi ninjaboon

I have just provided a forum member with our credit licence details to be confirmed.

At this point Ill ask that that person, once comfortable that he says we are who we say we are, that he state this to the forum.

Please understand i can not just provide a cell phone number and email address over an open forum at this stage.

I've read the stories here and feel sorry for anyone who has lost money/BTC.

Anyway....Some quick background on us:

We, and not (TF or coinlender) are part of a company with an "Australian Credit Providers Licence" (allows us to provide credit/LOANS) and we would like to make the following commentary to those affected or otherwise by the coinlender saga.

We believe the coinlender business has/had merit, with albeit inept execution/security floors.

For this reason we wish to speak to you that have lost funds using this system, to get your reactions to our request/proposition, before any formal commitment from our end.

As an Australian company we feel that if we can offer our assistance then we will do so.

So here are the initial thought/requests to consider/debate/chat about.

1. We would like to request to negotiate with TF to purchase coinlender/TF database/website and all intellectual property/domains etc and take over management of the current loans.
2. The cost to us will be $0, in fact we want $50,000 or 100 BTC from TF, to buy it and manage it from TF.
3. The $50,000 will be used to a) setup a company owning the intellectual property and b) issue shares in the new company to be split among both our company and that of you that lost money/BTC, along with some funds towards manegemnt of the current/new loans.
2. TF to work with us for up to say 12 months (at no cost) on an ad hoc basis as needed to benefit the site/business. This will include a shareholding to him at the conclusion of 12 months, if we (collectively) so choose to do so based on his 12 months help.
3. Anyone who has lost funds/BTC will be rewarded by holding shares in the company in some way by using the service again (unsure at this point what that will be, but some form of monetary reward for commitment back to the site. You have to commit, make BTC available to receive shares. (unsure how this will work at this point but just a comment for now)
4. We would keep similar functionality and business concept with some required changes.
5. We are to be provided a complete breakdown by TF as to who has lost what amount so that we can make sure those that have been  affected receive a shareholding.
6. Shareholders to receive dividends prorated each year.

Could go on forever, but in essence, we will take the inherent risk associated with buying a website/IP with a tarnished name with the acceptance of terms to the above by TF (we are negotiable) but more importantly it must be acceptable to the majority of you.

This by no means stops any action by you against TF for lost BTC, however we are trying to help you move forward in the meantime with this proposal/idea/concept.

PS: We personally do not believe TF is/was a scammer, however that is a moot point at this stage, the important thing is to find a solution to move forward that can benefit all past users/ new users and Bitcoin.

Happy to take questions/ ideas/ comments by any of you or TF.

Hi guys. Aside from localbitcoins and fyb-sg, are there any easy way to buy BTC in Singapore?

I've used fyb-sg before. What's so hard about it?

TF, you promised the coinlenders´ problem was going to be handled soon.

Giving some people 10% of their funds is not the way to do that.

Inform us about you plans ASAP!

And by the way, I tried to purchase a CD and the value did not add to my account after it ended.

10% of the funds is ridiculous.
I've worked very hard to gain my 76 BTC coins and I'm not gonna let this person profit from it.
1753  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [OFFICIAL]Bitfinex.com first Bitcoin P2P lending platform for leverage trading on: November 21, 2013, 05:33:36 AM
Why the hell do you trade on a platform that is in the process of being upgraded and might go down for maintenance any second?! Huh

They should disable the trading function during the maintenance.
1754  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CoinLenders, Inputs.io, Tradefortress (HACK) on: November 21, 2013, 05:23:09 AM
I have to figure out how I'm going to earn 700btc without blowing a ton of guys, and I need to cut out all the distractions. I'm not going to let some random hacker and a ~19 year old kid fuck my life over.

There are several big business opportunities that are barely being tapped.

So without further ado, I wont be coming back to these forums (Well until I have something valuable to offer, and it would be under a different name.). If you want to copy my OP and continue on with it, by all means, go for it. I pretty much dead weight around here now anyway.

I wish you all the best! So long and thanks for all the fish!

Edit: Had to come back to remove the donation address. There was only one "donation", and that's what I put there to test the watching wallet...

Thanks ChaosFox!

All the best. Do buzz me if you intend to open some Bitcoin related company in Asia side.

All that, or TF is smarter than you all think, and he's never set foot in Australia.

He might have just built a bread crumb trail over a couple years to set this up.
Couple years "work" for a $2millions+ reward is probably worth it.

As a reminder, using fake IPs and fake IDs is so easy your grandma could do it without a manual.

If you want the truth, either hire some internet skilled PI, or let your local administration raise the issue to whatever level it takes to catch him.

I know inputs.io was a member of the Bitcoin Foundation.
Maybe they have TF's real identity?
1756  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CoinLenders, Inputs.io, Tradefortress (HACK) on: November 20, 2013, 10:48:37 PM
Hello all,

I just received a refund of about 19% of my 35.5 investment back (including interest).

I had been one of TF's supporters here, but not any more.

TF came up with several innovative business ideas that had real potential. In the end, I think that CL was in trouble from defaults and in danger of becoming a ponzi scheme, though I do not think it started out as one. The hack, based on the information provided by Dumbfruit, shows both arrogance and sloppiness. TF had ample opportunity to protect his business and our funds and, for whatever reason, did not do so. There is a chance that he was part of the hack on himself, but I don't think so. I think he was arrogant and thought no one could be smarter than him.

I could forgive TF for the hack and even his mistakes in allowing it to happen. I cannot forgive the arrogant way he has treated his investors. This hack was an opportunity for TF. If he had come clean immediately, apologized for his role, and worked fairly with his investors, a great number of us would have continued to support him. CL is dead, but he might have thought of another businesses idea that we would get behind because we would know that this individual is a stand up guy.

Instead, it appears he has not tried to refund all inputs depositors. Then, when it came time to deal with the CL investors, he let it become a free-for-all of people trying to guess what the rules of his game were. He should have come up with a process-instead he made one up on the spot. He has said that he would only consider offers to cash out that protected other CL depositors. BS. At the end of the day, I believe wholeheartedly that TF is going to have thousands of bitcoin in his wallet. That is his goal.

I have agreed not to join any lawsuit against him or to make further claims. I no longer have a legal right to do so. If he had been humble, open, and honest, the amount I received would still hurt dearly, but I would accept it and wish him well. Because of his F-you attitude, I feel that he should be held to account.

I will be writing and posting on my website, bitcoinwarrior.net, an expose of TradeFortress. If anyone has any information that would be helpful to that article beyond what is written here, please email me at editor@bitcoinwarrior.net. If anyone has any more DOX information about him, please email me.

Further, for those who are considering a lawsuit, please email me. I would be happy to publicize your efforts, try to recruit more people who may not be following these boards, etc.

To TF: You can either be perfect, or humble. You are clearly not perfect given that you could have prevented this hack. You may think that you can ditch the TF handle and walk away clean, and you may be right. But, it may be that this finds a way to follow you for your whole career. I'll be doing my best to make sure it does.

I'll keep you in touch, some people are really looking for him and they are not happy.
Till now I have yet to get back my 76 bitcoins in CL and it's making me crazy.
1757  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: eCash.io - unbreakable cold wallet storage service on: November 20, 2013, 02:51:45 PM
I can't help but think of inputs.io and how that ended.  Roll Eyes

Yeah , the best advice for marketing would be to go for , ecash.sx not .io.
People will immediately associate you with inputs.io and that's not a good start.

I just spoke to the dev of https://coinsafe.io/ (coincidence)
and you should seriously get rid of the .io domain too.

The mere mention of an io domain is sending me goosebumps.
Good luck and I love Amsterdam.

this is indeed multisig.
and you can make it with 5, 7, ... 1001 users if you want, and that would be a great enhancement to your service, because there is no need to trust you, except for the conflict resolution service.

definitely in the works, once my dev has done his homework. thanks for the heads up.
