1741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about the idea of a bitcoin shop in big cities? on: April 23, 2017, 04:46:07 PM
Hey Guys,

what would be your opinion if there would been Bitcoin shops in big cities like London, Berlin or Paris (also smaller cities).
So you could go inside the shop and buy or sell Bitcoin for a good price.

I think it would be an good (and an advantage) idea because more people would use Bitcoin so the price would rise up and the people who are owning Bitcoins at the moment would have more money in Bitcoins. Wink

Best regards,

Patrick Smiley
I love the idea of a bitcoin shop but I think if someone decides to open a shop like that then you probably going to want open shop in a  place that has lots of bitcoin user, so instead of choosing a city in Europe, you could choose Tokyo now that Japan has recognized bitcoin as money.
1742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whats going on with Bitfinex BTC trading? on: April 23, 2017, 04:41:04 PM
Whats going on with Bitfinex? Bitfinex BTC price is ahead about 100$ vs. most exchanges and much more so vs Chinese exchanges... Mt Gox all over again?

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/#markets
People are buying bitcoin to get their money out of there and every time there is a huge surge in demand then the price goes up, but since this is limited to that particular exchange then the price is only affected there, I think we are witnessing the beginning stages of another incident like what happened back then but it will not as big because Bitfinex is not that big.
1743  Economy / Economics / Re: where should i invest my 0.5 btc ? on: April 23, 2017, 04:34:34 PM
invest in anything as long as it is yours
That is not really an investment since that will mean creating a business of some sorts and then try to make it grow, you can  make money that way but in my mind investing is putting my money to work for me and if you create a business you will have to work in it until it works at least.
1744  Economy / Economics / Re: Will you invest in a MLM scam in early stage? on: April 23, 2017, 04:29:01 PM
I would never be attracted to invest in MLM. even though it was profitable in the early stages, but the risk is very high as gamble, and I prefer to lose because of gambling than lose in MLM site, because it's more painful.
The main difference and the why it is more painful to lose investment over gambling money, is that if you gamble and you are reasonable about it, you know from the beginning you are going to lose but when it comes to investing even if you know there is the possibility of losing, no one invest in a company in order to lose, everyone wants to profit from it.
1745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why people use dice bot? on: April 23, 2017, 04:24:12 PM
Whats the point of buy it ?
Using dice bot for me is for a lazy people kind only, Please excuse me for being so straight forward in this things. It is still much better to do dice game manually Cheesy
Even if there does not seem to be a way to win at dice game, I still think playing manually is way better for the single reason that at least you are getting some fun out of with, but if you use a bot, what kind of fun could you get out of the game of dice.
1746  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Prediction 2017 on: April 22, 2017, 08:50:48 PM
I think it will depend it seems some exchanges have some problems with the withdrawal of funds in fiat, and if that keeps happening then most likely the price of bitcoin is going to go down also those exchanges that are able to keep the withdrawals will win a competitive advantage over those that do not and that could help create another monster like Mt Gox.
1747  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: April 22, 2017, 08:46:24 PM
Bitcoin is more of an asset then money. It's better to spread your money over assets anyway. It doesn't matter what it is as long as it's worth something and has values then maybe if you make good choices you can even profit over it.
Bitcoin can be used like an asset, if you want but bitcoin is at its best when used as a currency since you can invest in it or with it, buy and sell stuff, save for the future, so I think it is too limiting to treat bitcoin as an asset only.
1748  Economy / Economics / Re: Future of Bitcoin Economics on: April 22, 2017, 08:41:59 PM
We can make some guesses about the future of bitcoin even if we don’t get every single point of our predictions right we can still do it, for example the adoption of bitcoin keeps growing and with it its value so it seems safe to assume that in ten years the value of bitcoin will be bigger than it is now, how much? That will depend on the number of people adopting bitcoin.
1749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: small fee makes transactions faster on: April 22, 2017, 08:38:50 PM
used 0.0001 fee a couple of days ago and it took quite a while, but it went through eventually, confirmed the next day (don't know exactly how many hours, but I had made payment the day before morning, and was confirmed the next morning). Very cheap in my opinion.
But as from now one will use mainly 0.001, don't mind paying up to a buck per transaction if it goes faster, although still haven't measured the speed compared to the smaller fee
Using that small of a fee will make your transaction to take forever to get confirmed, but if that is what you can afford or if you refuse to get on the train of the ever raising fees that the miners seems to want to put us through then good for you.
not forever but few days, or the network will reject it for you and give you chance to increase the fee, bitcoin is now expensive.
It was hyperbole, but I get your point, if we don’t have any rush for our transaction to be confirmed by the miners then we can add a minimum fee and be happy when it goes through but if wee want fast confirmation because we need the money to arrive at its destination as fast as possible then a good fee is necessary for that.
1750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: April 22, 2017, 08:33:32 PM
Whenever I win I withdraw my profits and invest those winnings in promising altcoins from where I keep on making regular profits as my capital to gamble is intact and profits from altcoin is an additional income for me which can be earned regularly.

It's a good way of making your winnings to become more profitable by investing to trading. Unlike others most of us are keep on depositing it for gambling and we really don't if that is going to grow or not because the risk is very high. And it's better if there are some other investments like depositing to casino bankroll's but only if you are able to make it up to 1BTC or higher.
he did keep despositing to gamble by the way  Tongue see the bold part , as gambling addictive then not surprising if most people do that. investment after gamble actually not a bad idea at all , it could locka and secure your winning funds for a better reason rather than have to make it gone again to do another gamble session.

He keeps on depositing only if he will get some profit from trading. But what if he doesn't have some profit for this day that will make him stop for a while. And you are right, investment will always be a good idea as this is going to give you assurance that you are into something that will give you higher chance of making profit unlike in gambling.
yeah i'm pointing out about how people mostly tend to keep playing with their winning money instead to keep it or use for any other thing like trading or to invest. the reason of course everyone know how the feeling won something good from gambling and hard to just leave it, only special rare person who can do that.
Those that do that do it out of greediness since they think they can win over and over again without realizing they just got lucky and they should consider themselves fortunate to be able to withdraw more money than what they put into the casino.
1751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to make a good amount with 0.01BTC? on: April 21, 2017, 10:58:17 PM
try martingale in sportsbook and choose your best known of sports, try your bank roll /31 and choose odd 1.9-2.1 and if u lose try 2X your base bet just like basic martingale, if u a common gambler you can double your bankroll  in 24-48 hours,
There is a house edge in every bet you make at the sportsbook so trying martingale is as bad of an idea as it is while you play dice or blackjack or any other game like that if you are able to select winners consistently in sport events then you don’t need martingale at all.
1752  Economy / Marketplace / Re: question on money making guides on: April 21, 2017, 10:55:34 PM
The majority of people cannot create your own strategy of making money. For this reason, there are many jobs where you dictate what to do and very few of those who work for themselves.
Most businesses are small business where only a handful of people work, there are not enough corporations to absorb all the people that want jobs, so some take the risk and create their own business and become their own bosses and are successful due to their efforts and strategies.
1753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN or LITECOIN on segwit, which one is first? on: April 21, 2017, 10:52:22 PM
Litecoin prices surged nearly 70% yesterday, ending months of stagnant market activity. According to the data, most of the trading has taken place on Poloniex, OKCoin and Huobi. As of today, Litecoin 24 hour volume is greater than Ethereum by nearly 20%.

Some say this is due to the efforts to integrate segregated witness (segwit) with Litecoin. Others say that traders are simply chasing possible gains in the altcoin markets.

What is your opinion on this? Do you think both Bitcoin and Litecoin will get segwit integration? How will this affect their prices? Which one will get segwit integration first: Bitcoin or Litecoin?

This is a no contest LTC is very close to activate segwit this is a matter of at most one or two weeks in my opinion and it is very obvious the price of LTC is going to grow simply because the users are very optimistic about this new development in the coin and I will be honest I’m excited too to see how segwit performs.
1754  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin defeats the Chinese government on: April 21, 2017, 10:50:03 PM
If bitcoin defeated the chines government then it would be just for temporary and not permanent because any kind of government from any part of the world will not allow that to get defeated by just one currency like bitcoin. They will do anything for them to get the control again and as much as they can they will try to control bitcoin for their own purposes.
It does not matter how powerful a country is, you cannot go against reality and the facts the will of the people can be so strong that there is nothing that can stop it even the will of some of the most powerful persons in the world and bitcoin cannot be manipulated that easy.
1755  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think that you're addicted to gambling? on: April 20, 2017, 08:57:21 PM
I don't really think of my self as a gambling addict,
Since I can control myself when I am playing and I can stop myself from depositing on a site.
lol of course you will not know whether are you an addict or not .

because the only one who can judge you are an addict or not is people who close with you , people who always watching you. feeling can lying and fool yourself but other poeple opinion won't. so even you feel you are fine because have control over yourself but when people start claiming that you seems an addict then that is what you are.
I disagree an addicted person can tell they are addicted, that is why when they realize this awful truth, they look for help, but you are correct in a way, there are some that are unable to see their mistaken ways, those are the ones that have a lot of trouble abandoning their addiction since they don’t even realize the extent of the damage they have done to themselves or others.
1756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin SegWit will be activated in less than 11 days on: April 20, 2017, 08:53:27 PM
The price may go up because of it. I personally hope that the coin goes down in value so I could purchase a bunch of it.
The price will go up without  a doubt when Litecoin activates segwit, it will be a bubble but I have no doubt that the price will be higher than it was before segwit, this will be a great testing ground for segwit and if it works maybe we will see an increased interest for segwit coming from bitcoin miners.
1757  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: April 20, 2017, 08:40:39 PM
If your aim is to get rich with bitcoins I think you are a little late I think you have a way better chance with altcoins instead since the prices can go sky high very rapidly unlike bitcoin, if you are a good trader bitcoin can give you good earnings but not as much as before.
It is still not that late if you are thinking that most of us are late to become rich in bitcoins, well it is still not. Because if you are going to work hard there is still the time that you can earn good amount. It depends on how determined you are to earn good amount, especially in trading, there's no time required on it, what you need is patience.
For those that work hard it is never late, but the volatility of bitcoin is not as great as it was before, no longer the price can double in a matter of hours or days, the price can move hundreds of dollars but it is  not possible for the price to one day be 1200 and the next day be 2400, that is not going to happen.
1758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin 20 Years From Now on: April 20, 2017, 08:27:02 PM
Well I have saw on the news bitcoin 20 years from now will become around $ 500.000/BTC
i saw this prediction on cointelegraph if i am not wrong, unfortunately I was forget the link  Grin
But it is just prediction there are not people who know about the future include bitcoin price.

Hopefully that prediction will come true, of course we all hope so.
Bitcoin will continue to grow as the user grows every day every week and even every month bitcoin users continue to grow in various countries.
- Wow, $ 500.000 / bitcoin, this is a terrible number and i do not think that bitcoin can reach such a high value. I think this is not a prediction, this is the dream of those who hope to get rich from keeping bitcoin, $ 500.000 / bitcoin is very difficult or absolutely impossible
- We should not expect too much about the future of bitcoin. 20 years later is a very long time, I can survive to that time or not is also a problem but I think with the potential of bitcoin now, 20 years later it probably stood at the peak of the world and became the first virtual currency to be used in real life.
Yeah, that sounds more like wishful thinking like anything that value is completely outside what can be possible, a good portion of all the economy will need to move through bitcoin to reach something close to that value, I think a more conservative value will be something between 5k to 10k.
1759  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do you think Bitcoin will reach $1500? on: April 20, 2017, 08:16:35 PM
I doubt Bitcoin will reach the 1500$ mark this year. Specially with segwit, bitcoin ublimited debates, ect. Maybe for some days but it won't last long. I believe the max it will reach for this year will be around $1300-1400 but not more. Currently i am quite happy with how it is, of course i can be more happy if the price incrase, but i can't complaint...
If this year the bitcoin can be resolved his scalability problem and there will another big hype in the future. i think $1300++ will possible for bitcoin in the future. The worst thing was prevent the increase of bitcoin is the debate.

Of course, because the debate cannot solve problems and are not able to raise the price of bitcoin. Lol.
But everyone is free to give a opinion or speculating on the price of the bitcoin. Yes I think $1300 is ideal price.
That's right, the debate just waste our effort. So, when will the problem of bitcoin get resolved in the future if the debate still continue? i scan say never.
In my opinion debate is never a waste of effort, it is true that we will like to get a solution as soon as possible but none of the parties seems to have any reason to give in, and that is why we are in this situation, if bitcoin price crashed to 200 dollars per BTC I think we will get an agreement in just a few weeks.
1760  Economy / Economics / Re: where should i invest my 0.5 btc ? on: April 19, 2017, 05:22:05 PM
Hello every one.I have just bought 0.5 btc to do some investement but i am not able to find any good place to invest them.
Should i invest in cloud mining sites like genesis-mining,hashnest or hashflare.Or there are other options as well to invest my 0.5 btc where i can get some profit after some time.I have invested 0.05btc so far in hashflare out of those, now 0.45 btc left. Please tell me any trusted and good place to invest on.
Cloud mining is out of the question most are scams and the few that may not be scams are unprofitable, so don’t invest your money there, the easiest option at the moment is to put your money in casino bankrolls that way you can easily make some money out of your investment.
