So the second ground buy will be ordered now?

I want this coin - going to be a collectible some day!

I'll stop accepting future international orders and leave the group buy open until it's filled.
17562  Economy / Goods / Re: [CLOSED] Casascius 1oz Silver Physical Bitcoin Rounds (2013) on: July 29, 2013, 06:33:38 PM
How does Casascius ship these overseas?

I signed up to your group buy because you personally invited me to it, I subsequently turned down other group buy offers as a result of being included in yours.  Now first batch coins are no longer available.

I also paid a premium well in excess of the coin list price (including shipping), and more than non-international buyers, purely to compensate you for the hassle of co-ordinating shipping.

Please DO NOT reallocate the coins you are holding on my behalf to anyone else - if necessary I will arrange for a US delivery address for you to send to, but to simply tell me the deal is off because you don't want to waste any more time is a pretty big let down.

<minor edit for politeness - also I have just seen your PM and will reply there>

I had no other choice when it came to the overseas delivery.  I tried different USPS offices, different packaging, etc...  They showed me in their computer where it said that coins and bullion were banned from being shipped to your country.  I don't know if I just happened to get extremely unlucky and got multiple idiots at multiple offices or what.  If you can arrange for a US shipping address, I would be happy to refund the additional shipping and ship your coins to you.  I just can't send them to your country from here for whatever reason.  I exhausted every legal option I had.
17563  Economy / Goods / Re: [CLOSED] Casascius 1oz Silver Physical Bitcoin Rounds (2013) on: July 29, 2013, 05:06:20 PM
Restrictive USPS policies is making it impossible for me to ship these things overseas (I jumped through all their hoops and then they told me silver is banned from being shipped to most countries, except Finland apparently).  I don't want to lie to USPS in order to ship these.  For that reason, please post your refund address if you are an international buyer, and I will refund you.

I'm closing this group buy because the INT orders are just enough product to fill the existing US orders.  All remaining packages will be shipped tomorrow and should be received by Saturday.  Thank you.

What size air tights are needed for the half and full coins?  Need to order some replacement ones...

The sizes are listed on casascius' website.

Ognasty - is there a format/sequence to the firstbit addresses in the roll you received?

Casascius' latest post got me interested

I didn't notice any particular format.  I wasn't exactly looking for a pattern though.

The coins for group buy #1 have been received and domestic shipments were mailed out today.  I was hassled about the packaging on the international orders so I'll have to figure that out and get them shipped, most likely on Monday.

Will you be PMing tracking numbers?

I'd imagine they will all arrive on Monday (except the international). How about if it doesn't show up Monday, send me a PM and I'll shoot you the tracking number. That or I can send The tracking numbers on Sunday evening.

it's been the worst luck for the pool in at least the past 3 months... supposed to get a donation every 20 hours, it's been dry for over 4 days. Two rounds ago took 19 minutes, this round is now at 4 days 5 hours and 29 minutes.

 Shocked

Are we married to p2pool, or can we consider pointing a miner or two at different pools to reduce the chance of a complete dry-spell?

There is some development going on behind the scenes with P2Pool and I think our luck will turn around soon on there.  We can't be unlucky all the time.  Our streak of bad luck seems to be continuing however.  This morning one of our PSUs burned out (no explaination).  I checked with Amazon.com and we still had 4 days to send it back for a refund, so I took care of that right away.  I also ran to Best Buy after failing to find a PSU at 2 other stores and grabbed a new PSU.  So everything is up and running now, but we did lose a few hours worth of hashing power from 2 ASICs as well as being out about $40 for the price difference between the old PSU and the new store bought one.

On the plus side, we are now CPU mining PrimeCoins (XPM) which pretty much maxes out what the scrypt miner can handle.

Hurragh Smiley Thanks for the updates and diversity. Any room for devcoin in the alts? I know its yet another bloody altcoin and a fairly confused one at that but it might turn into something worth supporting :/

We've been merged mining devcoins for some time now.  We have almost 400,000 of them.  Check out the current holdings in the OP.

I received the new PSU this morning and our Scrypt Miner is back hashing away.

I've received confirmation that these have shipped.  I envision myself preparing individual shipments this weekend and sending everything out on Monday (the 29th).

Has there ever been any discussion about getting your shares on an exchange.  Like with a passthru or whatever?  I think the nastyfans site is great but I think nastymining could get alot more popular if it was on an exchange. Is it possible?

I've thought about running a micro-share pass-thru on BitFunder.  It might be something I would consider in the future.  I think nonnakip has some cool stuff on the way for NastyFans though.

I'm assuming the status of this is the same as the 1oz group buy?

Yes.  They'll all ship at the same time once the order is received.

NastyFan kosmokramer has generously donated a USB Block Eruptor to NASTY MINING.  Thanks kosmo!

Also, will these be sent in airtights like the 1st group buy order? I would pay a couple bitcents for it as well if possible.

Ya, I'll get airtites for them.

Sweet, thanks for the update.

With the way hardware has been selling there might be big money going into mining operations and production should start ramping up soon. That could end up in a dog eats dog hardware race that makes keeping up way too costly until most run out of funds. Hopefully not but any thoughts something like that happening?

I was wondering the same thing. How can we keep up with those that mine and sell chips?  Any ideas OG?

Yes.   Wink  Give it some time.  Things are happening behind the scenes.

I successfully placed a 500GH/s Miner order with Butterfly Labs using the 25% discount code to save over $5,600 on the retail price.  This move should ensure that NASTY MINING has over 1TH/s in place by the end of the year.

The PSU I ordered was shipped today.  With any luck, we'll be back to mining scrypt coins next Tuesday.

Thank you everyone for funding this loan so quickly.  Your support is unbelievable and appreciated.  I will not let you down.

With your help, I have successfully placed the order for a 500GH/s Miner with Butterfly Labs.

Lenders have all received tips to their specified addresses (I didn't accept a tip & satoshi got BTC0.00000002).
