Just wanted to voice my opinion that ignoring the exchange rate on the largest exchange (MtGox) is absolute bullshit.
17582  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Hash Rate Graphs - Post Pics on: July 19, 2013, 09:21:34 PM
Looks pretty normal to me.  Getting your hash rate from the pool isn't exactly the most reliable method.
17583  Economy / Goods / Re: [3/20][GROUP BUY #2] Casascius 1oz Silver Physical Bitcoin Rounds (2013) on: July 19, 2013, 08:38:35 PM
If the 2nd order gets at least 10 coins preordered let me know. I'll take one if so. I don't want to have to pay though and wait a month before we even order which is why I will wait until this gets closer to filling.

I've gotten PMs from a few other ppl saying the same thing...  Just jump in the group buy.  Your coins are gonna be locked in a casascius coin anyway, so might as well get your name on the list and encourage others to do the same.   Wink

No new updates on my end.  Hope we get something soon.

UPDATE:
Our BTC200 loan was funded in less than 24 hours!  We are now waiting for a generous BitPay exchange rate (lame they ignore MtGox) so that a 500GH/s Miner order can be placed.

Congrats,

my client show the message as verified. See that was easy.

Thanks!

I'm curious, what wallet software can be used to allow the user the choice of specifying the 'send from' address?

I use Armory when I need to control which wallet funds are sent from, but it isn't the most reliable software (I have to reinstall frequently).  I also have never been able to get the sign address feature to work, but have never lost any BTC using it.

You could also consolidate your BTC by sending all your BTC to 1 address, then you know that any sent funds will come from that address.  Just be aware that once you send coins from that address, any remainders will be sent to a change address, so you'd have to consolidate again.

This is a great site to see where your bitcoins are going.

from 1YogAFAnQwgyUjvVRHV2y8Uwc65JbnLkL

Good luck!

Looks like this was sent from 1LVsqE1DT2nu8VoQKM3roBaTg7XUoJPQy1.  Can you confirm?  I'll list your requested address since nobody is disputing that you sent the coins.  Thank you.

I believe that mini-rigs are getting built quickly and a mini-rig order will be received faster than a single or jalapeno order at this point.

Why do you believe this?

(God, I hope you are right...)

The different product lines are being manufactured separately.  I believe there are far less mini-rig orders than single or jalapeno orders.  That leads me to believe a jalapeno ordered today would take longer than a mini-rig.  I also think that BFL places more of an urgency on delivering a $20,000+ product than a $275 product.  Just my opinion.

There is no way I would risk nearly 5 figures on an overseas company that hasn't delivered a product.  I go with BFL because I trust them.  I don't trust the other companies yet, which is why I've only participated in group buys with relatively little at stake.  I believe that mini-rigs are getting built quickly and a mini-rig order will be received faster than a single or jalapeno order at this point.  I also believe that with the 25% discount and community funded order, this will be a great opportunity for NASTY MINING to lock in over 1TH/s in mining power for the future.

So is it every BTC10 gets offered these "tips"? If someone put in BTC40, they would be offered a total of BTC1 upon a successful order?

Originally I had intended it to be BTC0.25 per lender, but per BTC10 seems more fair, so we'll go with that.

When does the day counter begin?: from when you get the funds? place the order? receive the unit?

Will payback be weekly, coinciding with NASTY fan distributions? or be a completely different schedule?

When will you start to repay the loans?

Lenders not repaid on or before September 20th, 2013 will receive the additional tip.

Payback will be weekly with lenders being repaid in the order they sent funds.

Payback of the loans will start ASAP.

I agree, 2.5% is not attractive at all.

Could you also clarify what this means:
Quote
Lenders will be repaid by NASTY MINING's 25% share of NastyFans' donation distributions.

How are those funds generated? If its mining related how much do MH/GH are 25% of the shares?

BTC0.25 isn't bad when you consider the first lenders will begin being paid off after a week or two and I have a rock solid reputation.

The hashing power currently generating the NastyFans distributions is around 300GH/s and there is another 300GH/s on order.

EDIT: Sweetened the terms to include, "Lenders not repaid on or before September 20th, 2013 will be offered an additional BTC0.25 tip."

NASTY MINING: 500GH/s Miner Loan
Requested Amount: BTC200
Payment Address: 1H5HhKAsGYDVbYScTGWW5UvSDcDZXxp1qL

LOAN REQUEST:
I am raising funds to take advantage of the 25% Butterfly Labs discount coupon to order a 500GH/s Miner for NASTY MINING.  I am personally pledging BTC50 to the effort and will not be repaid anything until all other lenders have been repaid in full.  Lenders will be repaid by NASTY MINING's 25% share of NastyFans' donation distributions.  If you are interested in participating in this loan, please see the following thread for more information: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=258099.0

17597  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 25% off any new BFL order on: July 17, 2013, 09:46:27 PM
And what is the cost for me to participate in the 25% off?

If we were pursuing a group buy situation instead of someone just buying the code for their own use, I would want to split the discount.  Meaning you would get 12.5% off your order.  I would want to find a couple of others willing to participate if that is the case.

Anyone interested in locking in discounted ASICs?  I think I will try to place the order Friday.

OgNasty, need any discount codes? I've got four to donate

They are non-transferable.  Still looking for people interested in getting in on my order...

Whats the order number for the BFLs that we are waiting on?

I'd rather not disclose the exact order numbers (not sure why, just doesn't seem like a good idea).  I will say that we still have 2 more first month orders that I am expecting in the coming weeks.  After that, our next order was in September.

UPDATE:
I purchased 1 share of soniq's KNCMiner Jupiter group buy for 2.8 BTC, which will be about 13.3GH/s.
