Alcaraz has already been eliminated. I was nearly adding him among my predictions. I'm very indecisive about the Real Madrid-Manchester City match. There are 2 questions related to this match. Maybe it would be more ideal to give 2 conflicting answers.
1763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: May 15, 2023, 09:40:47 PM
As Barcelona have announced their title finally by the victory they obtained in the Catalan derby they would just start thinking about what they can do for next season. Because the expectations will get bigger from them. People will expect to see success in the Champions League absolutely. I don't feel like they are strong enough to go for the title yet but they can do better than getting stuck in the group stage at least.

When it comes to Real Madrid they have already been focused on the Champions League title. If they fail then Ancelotti would most probably leave. Actually he still looks like he is leaving anyway as there have been news linking him with Brazil national team job for a long time.

This is how it looks in MSI right now. JDG were really quite comfortable against BLG by a 3-0 victory. Now they have become T1's opponent in the semi finals. However their job is going to be really difficult of course. Gen.G also tried their best against T1 but it wasn't enough this time. It feels like T1 will win by 3-1 against JDG but let's wait and see.

By the way in that case T1's opponent in the final series can be Gen.G once again. Because I think they are still the strongest team among the teams remaining in lower bracket. If this happens Gen.G will come for a revenge and they showed they had that potential the last time.  Smiley

It really looks like we are going to have a rainy race weekend this time. There was a probability for the Miami GP as well but it dried up earlier. This time I wonder if we can see a race under rain. Rain can make races much more interesting most of the time. Just remember the Singapore GP last season. Verstappen had really big struggles despite dominating the season normally.

Maybe he can have problems in this race as well which can make the race more competitive than we expect. Perez might see a big opportunity to win another race in that case.

Don’t be too sad slaman, looks like I will be joining you in division 2. Barring a miraculous final day I will be relegated too.

I have not been very good at all Cheesy

Hopefully we can bounce back next season and get promoted.

I will do my best for you on the final week. But I haven't been able to win for 3 rounds.  Cry

It's possible, but I really don't want the Everton-Brighton stuff right now. I just know Hrako can't be that horrible to get thrashed by +5 goals while he's also competing for a good finish on the prize table. It'll be scary but not for me. Cls63 needs to be worried. At the moment, I'm moving like Manchester City.

The final round is really going to be very exciting. I hope that I can manage to keep my place in top 3. In case I lose I can find myself in the 6th place all of a sudden. After looking at the questions I understood that this round wouldn't be easy for me at all.
1768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | SFs on: May 14, 2023, 10:07:10 PM
Juventus' job is indeed going to be tough in Sevilla's home. Because Juventus couldn't even play properly in the first leg and barely saved a score of 1-1 for themselves. If it weren't for Gatti's header things were going to be extra difficult for Juventus. But things are still quite difficult for them if they keep up the same level of effort.

Because the rematch wouldn't be the same. Sevilla would like to improve their dominance level even more just as they did against Manchester United. It isn't that hard for them to do this too considering their in-form look recently. Juventus need to care about their defense much more.
1769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: May 14, 2023, 09:57:31 PM
First of all I must admit that Messi's contributions to PSG have been really great. Since he started to adapt to PSG's football he has been scoring and making assists very much to meet the expectations. However I still don't want to think like PSG are dependent on him. I mean they can still do a solid work in case of Messi's not extending his contract until the end of this summer.

Because PSG were still very powerful before Messi's joining the team. They just need the right kind of management for them and that's enough. With a bad management they still become a failure even when the trio are ready to play at the same time.
1770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eredivisie 22/23 - discussion thread on: May 14, 2023, 09:51:22 PM
It is actually nice to see some different champions after a domination by one team for many years. It has been a solid performance by Feyenoord side throughout the season really. They have lost only once so far. PSV also had a superb form in the recent times but it wasn't enough to keep up with Feyenoord. And Feyenoord concentrated on the league title completely after being eliminated by Roma in the Europa League. Otherwise maybe they could have had more problems on balancing both of them.

And of course Ajax have been the most disappointing team of the season indeed. They made big changes in the squad and it looks like this affected them negatively.
1771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 14, 2023, 09:40:18 PM
Is it really true that Chelsea have agreed upon terms with Mauricio Pochettino? Because I have started to see some news about this agreement on some websites. There is no official statement from Chelsea side maybe but let's see. Maybe there is already a verbal agreement between two sides. If Pochettino is the new coach then it might be good for Chelsea maybe.

Because Pochettino is already familiar with the league and he has a big experience with a decent PL team like Tottenham for years as well. There is another rumour about him like he wants Mount to stay at Chelsea. Mount hasn't had a good season so far but maybe Pochettino can win him back to the team again.
1772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | Champions League Pool ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: May 13, 2023, 10:09:55 PM
I have not decided yet who to follow between City and Real but for sure Inter is my next horse for the other semi 2nd leg. Home team, 2 goals ahead. They will be stress-less and will play their natural game which is defending the score. Doing that will bring them some chances for counter attack and they may find few times their ball in the back of the opponents net.

And who do you think will come out for all-attaching play in the Manchester City-Real Madrid game? I believe Manchester City will run around like spoilt kids again, as they did in the first leg, while Real Madrid does the damage with counter-attacking football, playing deep with Camavinga and Kroos, then Modric a bit up front to set up the counter passes, I believe Real Madrid will wrap it up in a very fashionable way. A crucial round for everyone in the pool, it's a make or break round for those of us in the bottom of the top 10, because the CL final wouldn't mean much to anyone.

When it comes to the Champions League I wouldn't take on Real Madrid. Because they are still dominating this tournament now. It is clearly seen from the number of titles they have got here in the recent times.

There is another example to this in the Europa League which is Sevilla. Even though this season has been one of their worst seasons in their history they are still doing very good in the Europa League. Real Madrid are in a similar situation too. Maybe they weren't the same as Sevilla in the La Liga but they still gave up on the title early. But they are still able to do a great job in the Champions League.
1773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eurovision Song Contest 2023 discussion: Who is your favorite? on: May 13, 2023, 10:03:57 PM
As far as I can remember Ukraine's song wasn't that impressive in last year's contest but it still got so many points of course. Their being under attack by Russia was the biggest effect in that of course. This situation still hasn't changed completely though. Therefore I wonder if we will see a similar result again but I still think we will see a different champion this time.

Sweden's song is really lovely to be honest so it is my favourite as well. Finland has quite a different style maybe but I still think Sweden is the closest to win.
1774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: May 13, 2023, 09:50:31 PM
It is getting quite boring as the matchups among them are very predictable. I would love to see a European or North American team to make it to the finals somehow to be the opponent of a Far East team but I know it isn't very realistic to expect now.  Grin
Dude, nothing is impossible, if the results are too obvious, the battles will no longer be attractive  Grin getting into a final seems difficult, but what about semi-final, if they're lucky enough, they'll make it

I'm deciding between BLG and JDG, both are doing really well  Roll Eyes

Of course it is a game in the end so anytime this look can change but there is still a huge gap to fill for European teams against those teams to be honest. I hope they can get better in time and we watch more competitive series.

Today I was able to watch the Gen.G - T1 series. T1 made a wonderful start by getting 2-0 ahead first. They were really stomping their opponent in those games. I liked Gumayusi a lot today by the way. His contribution to the team with his individual performance was really huge. The 3rd game of the series ended by a loss for them and I must admit it was Gumayusi's fault as he became complacent a little and couldn't position himself well. Winning only one fight there opened the doors of comeback for Gen.G and they made it even 2-2.

But T1 still stopped them by a solid effort in the last game. It was lovely to watch these great teams clashing against each other again after LCK.  Smiley
1775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 13, 2023, 09:43:35 PM
I have started to do really bad in the pool in the recent times. But I still hope that I can finish the season in top 10.

I was never expecting Southampton to relegate from the Premier League as well. Southampton weren't too away from the relegation area in the previous season too though but I would have expected to see them the same again in the worst case. It was an important match against Fulham as they still had a chance to maintain their presence in the league mathematically. I picked a 2-1 win for Southampton too but unfortunately they lost.  Sad
1776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: May 12, 2023, 10:37:13 PM
Such a dedication example by Lens really. After Danso's getting a red card in the 19th minute already I was quite negative about their result. In only a couple of minutes they got 1-0 behind as well. However Lens still made a great comeback despite the circumstances and won by 2-1. They did this against even a team like Reims. I'm putting it that way because Reims were one of the impressive teams with a long unbeaten streak before.

Now Marseille players must be feeling the pressure over themselves. But they have an easy home match against Angers of course so they should be winning comfortably to chase Lens for the second place.

This is the current look of the bracket stage in MSI. Round 1 was really comfortable for Chinese and Korean teams. Because European and North American teams are still far behind Far East countries on League of Legends. This has been the same for many years and still we don't see any change in this situation.

It is getting quite boring as the matchups among them are very predictable. I would love to see a European or North American team to make it to the finals somehow to be the opponent of a Far East team but I know it isn't very realistic to expect now.  Grin
1778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euroleague 2022/23 Season on: May 10, 2023, 09:18:56 PM
In Euroleague history none of the teams that play their 5th match away has been able to qualify for final four. Even though we are going to the 5th match in 3 out of 4 play-off matchups this year still the opposite hasn't happened.

Real Madrid managed to win against Partizan by coming back from quite behind. I was quite sad for Obradovic. I hope we can see Partizan and Obradovic in final four next year.

Man, I can't believe I'm still in a good position in F1, without even following anything or learning anything new lol

But it's a long season for sure and I know there are lots of dark corners around, so it's never gonna be enough to depend on results of last race to predict the next.

Yugin are you also playing in the pool or just discussing here? Just curious which one is you if you are there.

Unfortunately he doesn't play in the pool. You can find the pool participants and Superbru usernames in the first message of the pool. I hope he decides to join us next year. Smiley

Luck is always the biggest factor in this kind of contests. Besides I think you know something.

I saw your message very late. Otherwise I would have liked to help you. I hope that the side you are supporting loses and you make profit in this situation. By the way is there anyone among you who bet on Eurovision? Sweden step forth on betting odds this year but I can't say it is my favourite song.
