It was a really great performance by collecting 17.5 points to be honest. It isn't easy to collect that many normally. I see that position bonus points were a big help for you. When it comes to the race there was another standard race for Verstappen as he won easily. But Hamilton really disappointed his fans surely. That was a really bad start and this cost him the podium later on. McLaren were again doing amazing things. Ferrari were another disappointment but I'm not surprised anymore. They just killed Leclerc's race by that pit stop.

Congrats mate. It was a really tough challenge between us though.    The Dinamo - Hajduk question sealed the fate of the matchup. I wish I picked over 4.5 cards instead. There were five cards in total and the last card was even shown in the stoppage time. It was really unlucky for me there. Besides 4 of those cards were shown as of the 75th minute unluckily.

Now I've dropped down to the 3rd place all of a sudden. But the competition is really fierce so everything can change again in another round.

Real Madrid are looking for a centre-forward now not a winger. Neymar can't be their focus at the moment. It doesn't make sense. I know Mbappe isn't playing just like a centre-forward. He is taking a huge responsibility in multiple areas. But technically he is just the kind of a player they would make use of now. Him and Vinicius can do an amazing work together. Compared to Benzema, Mbappe's style is much more different. But actually I believe Vinicius can even play more comfortably with Mbappe.

They are both very quick players who can be deadly against any kind of opponent together. But if this transfer doesn't happen I will be expecting for Real Madrid to look for another player performing in the same position this summer.

@1miau  Even though Verstappen is most likely to win this race anyway at least it was nice to see a competitive qualifying session.    It looks like the new tyre format in qualifying didn't affect Verstappen's performance in a good way for now. But maybe it has something to do with the new changes in the car as well. Red Bull were expected to gain more speed actually but we will see it more clearly in the race.

@swogerino  Aston Martin were expected to do better on this track for example. They were believing that it was fitting them really well. But none of the drivers was impressive yesterday.

Alfa Romeo were the biggest surprise of the day by the way. Not only both drivers were in Q3 but also Zhou got the 5th place amazingly.

Henderson and Fabinho are other members of Liverpool who are about to leave the team soon. If I'm not mistaken they have been both monitored by Saudi Arabian teams and offered a deal as well. This means that Liverpool will need to look for a new defensive midfielder and a central midfielder. Both of them played in nearly all league matches last season.

There are more alternatives in the central midfield but it isn't the case for defensive midfield. There will be only Bajcetic left whose main position is defensive midfielder. He is only 18 years old now and I don't think he can be trusted in the starting eleven yet. Just as Harvey Elliott he also needs to put a lot more into his performance.

Last season was full of surprises in the Champions League except Manchester City's championship.    To be honest Manchester City's making it was also surprising from a different point of view. They won the title for the first time in club history in the end which was the surprise. Otherwise they have been favoured for it highly for many years already.

The main surprises were to see Inter and Milan both in the semi finals. They were lucky to have a draw against each other there though. Because if both of them faced teams like Manchester City and Real Madrid in that stage the chance of their making it to the finale would have been lower.

But this tournament gets even more beautiful when we see different teams in the final stages as well. It becomes more intriguing to follow.

I've also heard about this. City bandits beat him really seriously. Now he has a hamstring injury as well which will prevent him from playing football for around 6 months. It is really unbelievable. What can motivate those vandals to beat him like this? I hope those people get the punishment they deserve as soon as possible.

Traffic incidents are getting more serious in this country day by day. It is really the best to stay away from potential fights or even worse as much as possible. I hope Emrecan can heal faster than the expectations.

There is even an expected offer to be made by Al-Hilal for Mbappe soon. They are preparing a deal with a transfer fee of 200 million euros. I can't even imagine how much they will pay for Mbappe's salary and other demands. But these all shouldn't still be enough to convince Mbappe to go to Saudi Arabia anyway.

It is just too early for Mbappe to go there. I think it would be a big hit to his career just because he will make more money. I assume he doesn't want that now so he will turn that down.

What a performance by Hamilton! They stole the pole position from Verstappen's hands by a one last amazing lap and he took the pole position by only 0.003s.

I didn't give him a chance even on podium in the pool. But look at what he is doing now. I didn't know Mercedes made progress this much here. Verstappen has been uncomfortable with the car for the whole weekend and he repeated it after qualifying ended as well. Norris also did a great job by taking the 3rd place and the time gap wasn't that big either. Considering that Piastri is right behind Norris as well McLaren continue to do a wonderful job recently.

After Bellingham's departure Dortmund have signed Nmecha. However he isn't exactly playing in the same position with Bellingham mainly. On the other hand I don't see anyone they are targeting to bring to Bellingham's position in the team now. There is actually nobody I can see about their targets this summer. They are quite silent recently and I don't know if this will change either. Actually they have made a really good level of profit in Bellingham's sale. They should be able to use this money effectively.

Dortmund have great scouts so it is possible for them to find a new talent to the midfield at the age of 19 or below similar to Bellingham.

I'm wondering how good Audi will be to be honest. It is a really huge brand in the world and we can see its name in some other motorsports as well. But Formula 1 is a completely different field in motorsports. It isn't easy for any giant brand to become one of the bests in the sport in a short time. Audi will need to allocate a significant level of budget for the quality of its car and the whole crew both.

By the way we have seen some rain in Free Practice. This helped us see different names reaching top places in these sessions. We watched fast laps in FP2 but Verstappen was quite slow against many of his opponents. Leclerc became the fastest of the day and his time was quite near the one Russell took the pole position with last season.

Perez was alarming again with that crash as well. I hope he can concentrate on his work more in qualifying.

PSG believe that Mbappe has already reached a verbal agreement with Real Madrid for a free transfer. PSG are at the point of no return about Mbappe's future now seemingly. They waited for an answer from Mbappe about what he is going to do with his future and there has been no answer. From now on PSG have decided to do the sensible thing they should do. They are open to hear about any kind of formula from other teams for Mbappe from now on. The main goal is to not send him for free now.

However I don't believe Real Madrid will make an offer this summer as long as there is none from others. PSG had better hope for other rich teams to intervene and fire up the race for Mbappe.

Kane doesn't want to insist on his departure if there is no agreement between Bayern Munich and Tottenham. He actually wants to sign for Bayern Munich now but it isn't like his only option now. If this agreement doesn't happen then he is okay about waiting until the end of his contract to leave for free. As long as he has the kind of a signing he wants it doesn't look like he cares if it is now or in a year. Tottenham must be the one to be worried about this situation now.

Levy's continuing to be stubborn will take them nowhere. He will have Kane for only one last season and that's it.

After Icardi's arrival started to be doubtful for the near future Galatasaray decided to bring another centre-forward. They have signed Cedric Bakambu on a 2-year deal. His salary is only 1.3m euros a year which is quite favorable for them I guess. He is 32 years old maybe but still not a bad player. His performance at Olympiacos was quite impressive. He can still make a good goal contribution to Galatasaray. He might be likely to be their first choice in the coming Champions League matches as well.

As for Fenerbahçe they have completed the Becao signing as well. I wonder how Tadic - Dzeko duo will play together too. Both of them are quite old but Tadic's recent performances still make me excited.

Mbappe ile ilgili Fabrizio Romano'dan bugün yeni bir tweet görmüştüm. PSG görünüşe bakılırsa Mbappe'yi resmen satmaya karar verdi. Çünkü ona seçenek sundular ama Mbappe'den herhangi bir yanıt alamadılar. Japonya'da gerçekleştirecekleri kamp kadrosuna da Mbappe dahil edilmedi.

Bu durumda ilerleyen günlerde belki bir hareketlilik görülebilir. Real Madrid'in ben yine de başka kulüp teklif vermediği sürece sabırla bekleyeceğini düşünüyorum. Çünkü hala yılbaşına kadar bekleyip onu bedavaya alma şansları var.

Mbappe can still become one of the legends as he has long years ahead of him in his career. But to make this happen he needs to get rid of PSG as soon as possible. Because PSG just can't give him what he wants right now. They still can't become the Champions League title winner despite having one of the best squads in Europe. They couldn't do it even with a great trio of Messi, Mbappe and Neymar.

In this case I don't expect Mbappe to change his mind about not extending with PSG. PSG can do their best not to lose him for free maybe. But as long as they get zero offer their hands are tied about this.

There isn't a very long time to go for this season to start. PSG still haven't completed a centre-forward transfer. The current alternatives are said to be Vlahovic and Hojlund. Vlahovic looks like the priority. Juventus are waiting to hear from them as well to make a transfer to the same position as well. PSG have time until August 4 if I'm not wrong.

If they don't finish the transfer of Vlahovic until then Juventus don't intend to let him go anymore. Two weeks should be enough time for PSG to determine what they will do and to do it. If I were in their place I would choose Vlahovic over Hojlund. Because Hojlund is still not that impressive with his effort.
