Croatia did a great job by having almost 70% ball possession and they have 7 on goals also because Argentina's defense is very tight so the attacker is not effective to create a chance of goals.
70% huh, well actually it was 61% and it means nothing when they lost. It was also 12 shots on goals against Argentina which was 1 shots higher than Argentina but it seems they couldnt recreate their amazing run back in 2018 World Cup. Personally think that it would be Argentina against France on final but I would love to watch Morocco win the game though. Even though Croatia has a good defense at this point, I personally don't doubt the quality of Argentina's attack line, at least that's also enough to make me confident to bet on Argentina at this moment.
Imagine this scenario, the only way for Croatia to win is by relying on counterattack so it would means 10 players defending and 1 player waiting on the frontline. It would be hard for Argentina to get through this and honestly if Croatia can hold Argentina until 120 minutes then take this game into penalty shootout then they would have decent chance to win |
