1761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on the Paralympic Games? Ethical or not? on: August 17, 2021, 10:43:03 PM
Now I would like to know - does anyone follow this sporting event and place bets? To be honest, I know little about the strength of the athletes here, so I don't bet, but if someone gives advice on what to pay attention to, I will gladly do it.

Not for me. The reasons are; I don't have a knowledge on athletes, their sports performance and my information is very limited. But can be changed if I see some good reference for picks especially if the odds is attractive.

If I'm not mistaken, the betting market is small so I doubt it will be listed on popular sports betting sites either on fiat or crypto sites. Correct me if I'm wrong to those who already placed a bet on previous Paralympics games.
1762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Can We Expect Gambling on Axie Infinity? on: August 17, 2021, 10:24:20 PM
This can’t be consider as an Esport of course but there’s an on-going competition in Axie where you just need to increase your MMR and if you are on the top positions, you can get a reward but again it’s not a gambling and Axie Infinity itself is not a gambling game.

There’s a lot of future updates with Axie, I didn’t see any feature about betting, maybe this can’t be possible to happen but if the team is working into something else, they should inform us.

No. It will become and consider as Esports obviously because it can consider as a form of competition as a video games like any other Esports. They even mentioned that term as part of their future plans.

About betting, why refer on that on Axie's future updates? You won't really see it in their future updates because the one that will work on that are the betting sites if ever these sites will list the Axie competition on their betting list.
1763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casimero vs Rigondeaux this August 14, 2021 on: August 17, 2021, 10:09:02 PM
and he can still make money if he continues to fight, though in reality only in the press con it's exciting but in the fight it's 100% boring.

Are you sure about this? After that marathon do you think people will still watch his fight? You already said it's 100% boring.

He needs a popular and a caliber boxer as an opponent in order to still make money but I doubt someone will still fight him.
1764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 17, 2021, 09:54:59 PM
Everything is arranged per report, we just have to wait for the announcement of the final date of return.

As per recent reports, teams are just waiting for the finalization of their hotel accommodation. That shouldn't be supposed to approved for long.

Aside from waiting for the final date of PBA comeback, let's also hope that the numbers of additional cases in Pampanga is just light so that it will not end up as a reason for another delays.

Time flies so fast. It's been 18 days since the last PBA games. It's like it just happened last week. Cheesy
1765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 16, 2021, 11:47:59 PM
But it seems Lebron though has a long history of flopping that it really stuck in our minds, Lol.  Grin

Because he's too strong to others. Even others are hard fouling him, he can withstand it and referees can't see it. That's why he just flop. But his flops are just few compare to others. I watched a video of that.

It was just noticeable and big deal to many because Lebron James has many haters especially during his prime. It was started when he leaves Cavaliers for the first time where he also did some flops but not a big issue to others during that time.
1766  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: My Defi Pet - DeFi meets NFT on: August 13, 2021, 11:59:27 PM
ang hirap mag pa level up at ang gastos sa pag evolve baka kung mangyari uli ito baka marami na madiscourage at magdump ng token nila doon sa mga di pa bumibili ng pets.

Mahirap magpalevel talaga. Di ako makaupgrade ng cages. Pero iyong evolve di naman apektado iyon.

But you don't need to spend another DPET token for evolving if its already evolved prior the recent maintenance. After taming it, it will start at Level 10 then just keep feeding it. It was already recorded in the blockchain.

But I'm disappointed with the event. They should put that at least after the maintenance right away. I already used my feeds to level 10 all my pets that didn't evolved yet.
1767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can anything make you stop gambling on: August 13, 2021, 11:48:45 PM
If there's no reason to stop, why should you bothered to think of anything that might stop you? Think of stopping if you noticed something not usual is now happening and it's now affecting your daily lives.

Just enjoy doing gambling like you are doing currently. I found the question not healthy lol.
1768  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: My Defi Pet - DeFi meets NFT on: August 12, 2021, 09:24:31 AM
No choice here either. I'm now in the process of rebuilding. Compensation is enough for the tiring harvest days when I compute all the spendings.

Ang problema dito iyong mga di nakatanggap ng compensation saka alleged nawala raw iyong ibang stuffs ng pet. Yan ang technical bug. Kasi generally, mas lamang talaga iyong nakinabang sa compensation. Iyong cage na lang talaga problemahin which is makumpleto naman within less than a week for Chimera cage. Pero iyong user sa previous page nadagdagan pa raw accessories hehe.

Ilan kaya ayuda sa mga Kardia users. Di sila kasama rollback baka ang ending same lang din sa BSC users.

When is the boss fight? This month or next month? Any idea?

Sa susunod na maulit yan? Okay na naman ba?

Syempre di na ok sa susunod. Sa ngayon Round 1 muna sila sa akin and gagamitin ko ang "ok lang yan".
1769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best wallet for Crypto Sportbooks deposits/withdrawals? on: August 12, 2021, 08:50:49 AM
Can anyone tell me how will centralized know that the funds came from a gambling site?  I'm only seeing threads before that someone claimed their account got frozen because funds came from a gambling site but no proof that the site itself tells their users that's the exact reason. Coinbase for example but not seeing cases like that in Binance. I think there is another reason why their account got frozen and not because the money was coming from a gambling site.

Furthermore, if OP is really worried, then an extra step of using a non-custodial wallet is necessary.
1770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 💰 Summer Tokyo 2020 💰 Discussion and bet thread 💰 Summer Game 💰 on: August 12, 2021, 04:49:43 AM
I think the chess issue is really the lack of spectators. It is rare for there to be a significant number of spectators at chess tournaments.
It is very common to have chess tournaments in high school.

What's the connection of chess being lacking spectators? Is that even a criteria?

Chess is really not meant for having a large audience to prevent the distraction of the players. I like chess and already participated in an event way back several years. Our country does have lots of good chess players. They are playing in a silent venue so don't expect a lot of spectators there.

Your chess guy went to the gym to get laid, not to practice sitting.

How do you able to construct that statement where you didn't know in the first how or what chess is all about. Cheesy

Sometimes self-opinion doesn't count if lacking support to their claims.
1771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 12, 2021, 04:29:31 AM
PBA will setback to return on Pampanga. The news is circulating for several days now but the PBA site is not showing any news about it.

https://www.pba.ph/news

No news about some fresh progress right? It's about 9 days from now and the PBA will resume again. I think that will be the final venue and they will not return on Manila, as the conference is almost on its 50% progress.
1772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT games also another way to gamble your money? on: August 12, 2021, 04:09:41 AM
Most crypto games are built in such a way that early players recoup their investment at the expense of those who join the game after them. That's why I wouldn't recommend investing your money if the game has already been running for a few months.

It depends. What if the payment structure is stable even with the volatile market?

What's the difference between this when you buy a coin at peak then suddenly the market crashes. In these games that already built a good foundation, even in a market crash, the return of investment is possible. I think it's even quick to make an ROI here rather than waiting for a coin's price to the moon especially if the coin is not even in the Top 10 of coin's market capitalization.

Of course, there's still a risk as there's no perfect investment. But I can't consider it gambling here in NFT because we will manage it along the way. Although that was only applicable at those stable play to earn games.
1773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AMAZING NFT on: August 12, 2021, 03:48:37 AM
Recently, I participated in a project. Their NFT is different from other NFTs. It is endogenous. You can create it and then own it.
Have you seen other NFT projects that are refreshing/amazing or very attractive to you? Can you share with me?
thank you

Lots of NFTs to mentioned. More on NFT games and not as an NFT collection.

In AtomicHub, I think you can create your own NFT but hard to sell it without a good case or popularity.

Cryptoblade was not a good NFT game. It's only a text based game. It's not even an interesting game to be tried. People are getting hyped due to the PTE. This token get pumped again but it's dropping from its ATH https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/cryptoblades/

The gameplay was not so attractive. That will make people boring.

The game is boring but since it's profitable and play-to-earn is currently active, there are people who invested in the game.

It was driven by the hype before that from $130 it goes to $50. Even the game is boring, I like to consider investing in the game. Just need a bit of research.
1774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anderson Silva vs Tito Ortiz on September 11 on: August 12, 2021, 03:31:50 AM
I'm an MMA enthusiast but I don't see the fight as exciting.

If they will come back at the octagon, that's more exciting and not just what we can call an exhibition match. But I agree that it was Triller so they will arrange fights and matches that are not expected.

On the other hand, I like the main card between DelaHoya and Belfort because that was an official fight and it will be listed on the professional record.
1775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies price and their effect on gambling industry on: August 12, 2021, 03:14:34 AM
That can happen in reverse also, bitcoin dropping in value will lead the casinos to make reduced money and they also have to pay their staff plus other expenses of the casino. It can work only if casinos sell the crypto they made immediately to some exchange but that is time-consuming if the casino is big and deposits and withdrawals are happening fast.

If the casino mainly accepts bitcoin and the majority cost of operation is pay thru bitcoin, then I think bull or bear, it won't have an impact on casinos since the spending is 1:1. But we shouldn't care about that because whatever the trend, casinos can adjust and their bankroll is really huge.

They are profiting even in the bad days of crypto since gamblers don't actually care about that. The profit of the casinos is continuous as gamblers are everywhere.
1776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 12, 2021, 02:25:42 AM
There were even reports that he wants $120 million, that's why he turned down the $80 million offered by the Lakers.

That's true. He is expecting more money so even there's an article saying he doesn't want money, I don't believe in that. Everyone wants money in their prime. By entering free agency, he thinks there's a team that can offer that money.

When he was in the OKC, he was producing good numbers close to 20 ppg and good three point and field goal percentage. But it deteriorated when he was with the Lakers.

He is the 6th Man of the Year during his OKC maybe that is the reason he thinks he is a valued player. It's right, he has a value but not $20 per year. The wise thing to do is he should accept the $80, go on a rampage, play his best, so other teams have a reason to pay him a much higher.
1777  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: My Defi Pet - DeFi meets NFT on: August 12, 2021, 12:17:34 AM
What happened to the game? Everything is rollback.

There's a compensation though that can cover all the spendings, even more.

To sum it all, I think the rollback is good, literally no gems, pet foods and silver wasted.
1778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Can We Expect Gambling on Axie Infinity? on: August 11, 2021, 11:58:49 PM
Axie Infinity in its essence is already gambling because you are investing money on it by buying pets and you will depend on their rewards called SLP to regain your investment which is not guaranteed

Wrong mindset. You invested here because there's sure money in return unlike in gambling.

Even SLP will hit a much lower market price compare to where it is currently, the ROI for new investors would just take time. But in the end, there's no way they will not hit their respective ROI.

It's like when you are buying coins. In a bear trend and you are losing the price of it, you just have to hold it for a much longer time.
1779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will physical casinos accept crypto someday? on: August 11, 2021, 11:40:11 PM
Physical casinos are bound by government regulations, because they cannot accept crypto arbitrarily without government approval.

This is totally wrong. Physical casinos can add crypto as their payment method without the government's approval. It's the same as other business that accepts crypto as their payment method.

There's no law related to that. The tax will always be the same.

Especially if the government has not legalized cryptocurrencies, it is definitely physically casinos impossible for accept crypto.

In the first place, why that casino will add crypto if it's not legal in that country. Casinos won't even end up making a plan regarding that.
1780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casimero vs Rigondeaux this August 14, 2021 on: August 11, 2021, 11:27:41 PM
Maybe will skip betting for the fight. I like to put money on Casimero but not with that odds. I'm hoping for at least odds 1.7.

No way also to bet for Rigondeaux. Even if he wins, no regret not placing a bet for him.

Just have to watch the fight instead and just enjoy it. Lack of options to bet.
