We do have our own preferred ideal crypto portfolio and what I can see from OP though this post was from 2017 still he has a good portfolio after all.
But you know what what's missing with OP's portfolio? it is not cash / usdt but it's ethereum. Many are into ethereum but him doesn't have it instead he has chosen waves as his 2nd to the list.

It isn't sound weird if someone has panicking with the market. It's a phenomenal feeling that everyone who's new in the market.
Even the old ones are also feeling in panicked when they can't take the dips any longer.
There's no good decision if someone is in panic and it can only bring bad decision, I've been into it can't say if its many or few times but I say I've been there.

This is one reason, they only think that crypto's are sort of scam online and they don't want to study more about it so they are afraid of knowing more and investing to it.

That's why they fail to understand crypto's, they are not doing research and it doesn't matter if its maximum or not, they only need to have basic knowledge on it.

Yeah you can stay only with bitcoin as he indicated that he's going to hold it for 6-12 months which considers as a long term hold.

Scam coins can't be stopped and they aren't regulated.
This is why many are scared of cryptocurrencies because of the scams out there that can be in good image before they turn wild.

I think white paper reasons are obsolete, there are projects that are copying others work.

There's a need to work for it if someone wants to look for a good ICO to invest.
But I have another advice, look for those coins that are already traded on different exchanges.
Read their ANN and everything about that coin as much as possible to know it's legitimacy.

$900 to go for this year and 6 months to go before this year goes to an end.
There's still enough for the market to get on the bullish and $1,500 can be possible for Ethereum.

To me this is too much for this year that's quite high with my expectation.
