1784  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: This is the Secret Candlestick !!! on: October 06, 2018, 03:02:47 AM
There are too many indicators in your chart and that makes it confusing picking out the movement. Also i observed that you analysed the buy candle. Do you have any candle pattern that can show when a bear is coming?
1785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Investments Why Risky? on: October 05, 2018, 06:00:14 PM
The virtual product angle scare me. The fact that we can not feel or touch the products we are paying for and we can not trace most of the offices of the developers offering the ICO. Last year was great for ICO until people started scamming with it. People will continue to loose money until laws are put up to monitor ICOs. I have not been lucky with ICO because all my investment in it has be listed below the price of purchase.
1786  Economy / Economics / Re: What if there is a natural disaster, such as an earthquake? on: October 05, 2018, 05:32:24 PM
Just as others have said and which are the possible effects. The effects won't be inform of personal limitation to send or receive if network or internet are available, computers are not destroyed, good supply of electricity are still intact...then, we might continue to live a normal "crypto life". But were the destruction affects mining, internet connectivity, then it will be a problem.
Internet connectivity will be affected definitely if an earthquake occurs because network providers will loose their equipment. Unless it does not happen around the facilities. Crypto life depends on the internet. Anything that affects network transmission also will affect Cryptos.
1787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what are you 5 best altcoin that have put smile on your face on: October 05, 2018, 02:47:58 PM
At the moment not really happy about whole cryptos.

But, if to take a look in past. It would be:
TEL
NEU
KICK
ETH
CTR - scam, but part sold for a good price.
I got caught up in CTR and could not sell off. I was thinking the scam was a rumour until it was confirmed to be true and it became late for me to sell off. As for ETH, I see it more like bitcoin because it has a good record. My top 5coins are, Lisk, SOMN, EOS, XVG, and XRP.
1788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BOUNTY CAMPAIGN ?? on: October 04, 2018, 03:36:33 AM
There may be some delays with spreadsheet filling but such neglect almost always reflects the attitude to bounty hunters and their work. Try to find some bounties where bounty managers do their job in time and responsibly
It annoys me when managers do not update the sheets quickly and it shows how unserious the bounty manager is. I do not like taking part in such bounties. There are reputable managers in bitcoin campaigns who also do this may be they feel they are too big to be bothered with regular update. Avoid them.
1789  Other / Politics & Society / Re: a new era of democracy on: October 03, 2018, 09:20:40 PM
Democracy is the freedom to express opinions, but the democracy that occurs today is heavily stained by the persecution that is made and in the background by the government, how do you respond?
and what do you think is the meaning of democracy?
This is true especially with countries n Africa and their bad leaders. Government only favours a few. What makes it worse is the corruption and stealing from the leaders. At the end, only a few people get to benefit from this kind of democracy.
1790  Economy / Economics / Re: Sick and tired of the cryptocurrency bullshit!!! on: October 03, 2018, 06:40:15 PM
You do not have to be depressed because of the crash in the market at present. Look on the bright side and enjoy this moment of stability with bitcoin price. For a long time we have not have this low and controlled volatility. Also, know that every business us controlled by the big monies. It is not with cryptocurrency alone.
1791  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Crypto Documentary Shows How One Man with 1 Bitcoin Travels Around the World on: October 03, 2018, 01:24:13 PM
There is no way one bitcoin alone would have sustained him through his journey to those countries even when bitcoin was at the highest price of $19,000+. I want to believe he has some money set aside or that people gave him extra donations but the press is not telling us all this.
1792  Economy / Economics / Re: If Facebook promotes cryptocurrency, would it positively promote it? on: October 03, 2018, 12:10:46 PM
Facebook having its own crypto is very unlikely. Their platform is free, when they integrate cryptocurrencies to it, it automatically becomes monetized--which is bad since their selling point is many people joining it.
Facebook having its own crypto will help strengthen advert payments on Facebook by its users. Have you thought of this, instead of paying with fiat, users can pay with the Facebook crypto and help build up the crypto system. I think this it is likely to happen.
1793  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should we focus this year? on: October 03, 2018, 11:40:13 AM
I would bet that almost 50% of people who enter the crypto world do not necessarily understand 100% of the blockchain itself. they only know where they will invest and will get profit. I myself only know that blockchain is a ledger that records all crypto transactions.

Exactly. Majority will think that blockchain = bitcoin. Lol.

Blockchain is the technology behind almost all crypto right now. Anyways, the more people understands the difference the more they're going to be a smart investors. If they heard that some  company invested or uses blockchain technology doesn't mean that bitcoin will go the moon. Smiley
You are correct and that is the way most people think about blockchain that it is bitcoin. And anything related to bitcoin is easy money. People do not care how true this is or not. We have to continue talking about this blockchain to educate the people.
1794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did you think ICO is necessary? on: September 27, 2018, 07:57:14 AM
I think ICO is important because apart from it being another method startup companies can raise money, it is the same as what companies do in stocks as IPO. The only problem with ICO is that it has become very easy for fraudsters to cheat people out of their monies through this ICO. That is the major problem now.
1795  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Supreme Court pick Brett Kavanaugh on: September 26, 2018, 04:23:36 AM
Americans are going overboard on this Kavanaugh thing.  Do we not think that it is pointless bringing a school boy error after over 30yrs to hunt a grown man because he seeks a public position? Is there no one here who was never caught up with youth exuberance let them cast the first stone.
1796  Economy / Economics / Re: If Facebook promotes cryptocurrency, would it positively promote it? on: September 22, 2018, 05:52:14 AM
I've read that Facebook is going to have its cryptocurrency https://cryptobriefing.com/ready-for-facebook-coin/
Since Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg as an entity is highly influential, do you think it would bring crypto in a positive light? I am thinking that it may raise awareness of cryptocurrency as a whole and not just bitcoin.
That news was out some months ago and it was rumoured to be facecoin. I do not know why it is still not out  yet. If it happens that will help boost cryptocurrency and make it more popular because of the spread Facebook has. The coin is going to be used for all Facebook advert payments.
1797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: buy Altcoins on this time ??? on: September 21, 2018, 09:17:05 AM
I see the market is gradually recovering. Is this the right time to buy Altcoins. Let me see your ideas
We have be deceived in the past with this kind of short up movement and we thought it was a moment for the bull run. It will be too early now to say the market is on its way up because of this little push it has made. We have to wait for nextweek to be sure about this. But if you can not wait you can buy now. The market will not kill you for that.
1798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If I invest like around 600 USD in to Ethereum, Is it a good investment? on: September 21, 2018, 08:08:50 AM
Hello everyone. I want to invest some money. I have saved around 600 USD. Now I want to invest in.
Ethereum looks like that, it will be a good place to invest some money. What do you think? If I invest my 600 USD into Ethereum, can I able to make some profit? Or there is a possibility that, I might lose everything? Please advice and suggest me.
I believe it is a good thing if anyone wants to get a buy on ethereum now because the coin fell for on above $1,000+. At the price now $600 will buy 3 Ethereum coins and that is a huge investment when the price goes to $1,000 again. But I know the old investors will think ethereum is not a good coin to buy when they think of it from last year that it was below $30.

I will advise that you go for another coin that is cheaper like wanton. With the money you have, you can hardly get 3 etheruem with it. Think about that. The higher the unit of coin you have, the greater your chances of having good profit.
I think you are right with the Walton choice but getting cheaper coins is not a guarantee that you can make profit. Sometimes, these cheap coins become worthless.
1799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Houston Rockets’ Billionaire Owner Accepts Bitcoin at Luxury Car Dealership on: September 12, 2018, 07:13:26 PM
things like this sound good in the news but in the end in my opinion, they do not matter at all because their target customer is extremely limited. for example in this case luxury cars already have limited customers and on top of it this is just one  dealer that is accepting bitcoin which limits it even further.

This is a good start and we do not have to be negative about it. We have to remember that Rome was not built in a day and that the journey of a thousand mile begins with a step. I believe many more dealers will join accepting cryptocurrency as payments. And this time it will not just be bitcoin alone but the altcoins.
1800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Optimistic Attitude on: September 12, 2018, 07:55:31 AM
Now that the whole market condition is highly disgusting and discouraging, what attitude do you think both investors and bounty hunters should have? In my own view, I think there is a need for optimistic attitude.
I think the most pessimistic are the bounty hunters. They want to quickly offload to the market whatever coins they have acquired doing little tasks for small gains. Anyone investing into a coin has that believe to hold it like an asset for a while to appreciate. Again I think most people miscalculated while coming into it because of the quick rise in prices we saw in 2017. It is good people have learnt the lesson now. No quick riches.
