I am an Arsenal supporter, but the situation that happened to the Gunners made many people doubt it. moreover, one of their core players must be absent in the next few weeks. for sure, there will be a lot of big questions on the performance of the Gunners once the league resumes. only 5 points difference from Manchester City, not something that is difficult for them to overtake. after all, at this time besides Haaland as City's goal monster, Julian Alvarez's performance was also quite satisfactory when defending his Argentina national team. to be sure, the strength of Manchester City is very much feared by its opponents.

As for the Gunners, I hope Arteta will be able to bring in players who are truly ideal to add to the strength of his army later. and hopefully, the Gunners will continue to shine once the league resumes.

Arsenal players will not be the only ones that would be absent from next week, apart from Halland, some indispensable Manchester City players wouldn't be available because the statics from FIFA, almost 100 players were provided to play in the world by premier League alone and, Manchester will receive the highest amount, Manchester provided good 16 players to different countries while Arsenal provided just 9 players, so you see that both teams are not yet to fully recover from the stress of World Cup.

Manchester City's overall performance hasn't slowed down but Arsenal hasn't either, probably the league will become so much interesting the way we had Argentina and France from round of 16 knock stage, I want the whole Europe to sake this time with Premier League if possible.
1783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: December 21, 2022, 11:18:44 AM

The EPL has always been the most competitive and regarded league since I picked interest in football and began to follow every season of the English Premier league and this season I am very curious as to know how Arsenal will resume the seasons campaign after the break. Will they continue in shining and top class form, or will they break down and let Manchester City take the lead while they follow or go further down the pecking order?

From 2000 to 2015, the EPL was regarded as the best league in the world because of its competitiveness between many teams. This earned them many TV rights and that's why they are the most watched league in the world. Compared to other leagues that just has competition between two clubs Premier span across six teams. but for the past 5 years i feel the competitiveness has reduced with Man City always having an edge, only Liverpool has gone toes with them the likes of Man united, Chelsea and Arsenal are having mixed period. It's a great feeling seeing Arsenal back in the champions contender spot, I hope they go ahead to win it and end Man City dominance

Between 2000 and 2015 you made mentioned, I think the opposite happens in EPL. While agreeing that some other leagues have few competitions between teams, EPL hasn't been too different from others. Over that span of seasons, Manchester United has won 7 EPL trophies under the management of Alex Ferguson while Manchester City has won 2 under the management of Roberto Mancini and Manuel Pellegrini, and 4 by Chelsea under the management of Jose Mourinho and Ancelotti in a total of 13 by just three teams, I think it is not as competitive as you said otherwise other teams would probably have their own share of the treasure in their gallery.

However, you are right about the 5 years ago of less competitiveness, only that period, Manchester City has been the only one carrying home the trophy except for Liverpool that overrules them in the 2019/2020 season, maybe Arsenal will break that record this season, only time will tell.
1784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slow down if you want to recover your losses on: December 21, 2022, 10:52:33 AM
......

To be frank, gambling is not a do or die affair, anytime I tell gamblers to break anytime they gamble with too much loss or when they encounter losses consecutively, I tell them to catch a break, it will speed up your brain recovery and not only that, it will help you think perfectly and you don't make bad decisions on and on times without number, only a jobless and addicted person will want to spend the rest of the day gambling.

I'm not too much fan of Casinos games but as a Sports person that I am, my bets followed season, I take breaks when players are also on break in big leagues, I don't jump on other leagues because of small changes that will make me loose what I have earned at the end of a season. The concluded World Cup, for example, has ended, I am currently on break and will resume when EPL, La Liga and UEFA Champions or Europa League resume and not that I will start as soon as they resume, I will watch and see how the leagues have changed because I expect to see some transition as soon as they all resume back.
1785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Solution to Address the Problem of Gambling in Australia. on: December 20, 2022, 10:02:28 PM
I don't understand the effort really, except if Sportbets is not recognized and licensed, credit card wouldn't be a big treat to their betting platform. Every problem has a solution and whenever you create a new solutions, there is always a new problem that is always created, I think there is a solution to this and it's not that hard to do.

If Sportbets are trying to disabled credit cards, they are about the only ones who offer gambling service, try another bets platform that allow credit card or buy TRX OR usdt in any exchange and fund your casino which is quite OK and legally understanding.
1786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: December 20, 2022, 09:07:50 PM
Even so, I think Manchester City also needs to maintain its performance considering the season will be very busy. Manchester City can also be overtaken by other teams including Newcastle and Tottenham. So they have to be really careful about those bad possibilities.

With the experience Guardiola has I think Man City will remain strong for the season. They have provided strong evidence in the last season. Although today they have different players, but their quality is better. So I think the reason for the busy schedule won't make Man City bad.
Indeed, there are always many possibilities, this is because there are still quite a lot of matces. There are about twenty-four games still left for the EPL. Indeed at the moment Newcastle and Totenham are obvious threats. Their gap is very slim a one-time mistake would allow Man City to drop the rankings.

Experience matters but what happens when you have a smart guy as an opponent who have young and energetic weapons to battle you, they will likely outshine you in the long especially if they are craving for it so much. If you look at Michael Arteta's career record, he had no Premier League in his record and considering that everyone around his cycle all want the same thing, they will definitely go higher, that is what Arsenal is doing.

Looking at the table, it is possible for Manchester City to finish the season to complete at the first place but they have to make sure that Arsenal losses to some guys at least 2 matches and make sure that City win most of their match
1787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My concern of security when using casino houses. on: December 20, 2022, 06:57:32 PM
I do agree into this suggestion that it would be better if winnings would be partitioned and would be gradually be taken on day to day basis and of course
only get those small amounts.

This type of decision has two side effects; physical casinos are not like online casinos where players can have a player interface and do things quickly; if partitions are allowed in physical casinos, they will delay you the next time you come for the remainder of your balances or may even bring unnecessary excuses, whereas online casinos allow you to log in and initiate the sequence for the withdrawal of your balance and wait for some time to be credited.

Since we're all making suggestions to protect players, if I know myself to be a gambler and know well that my gambling skills precede my name, I'll probably hire a security person myself and when I need, I'll put a call through to come pick me up, which is more reasonable than allowing the casinos to provide one because they can't be trusted with the money I won from their company.

1789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much initial startup to Start Cryptocurrency Casino? on: December 19, 2022, 08:39:29 PM
Imagine the amounts Stake does on its sponsorship deals Cheesy

Stake is one of the biggest Casinos I know, so you can't compare it to a start-up that is still assembling its pieces. I know that STake invests a lot in sponsorships and collaborations, and seeing their advertisements here and there shows how they stand out from the competition. Drake is just one example, and I believe it has something to do with casino equity. Making relationships with business tycoons and influencers that are liquid even if your company is still in the early stages or on the verge of failure is essential if you want to succeed in business.

I can see that some people are recommending millions of dollars, which is not necessary in my opinion. You should start a casino with a small capital as a test and have more saved up as backup instead of investing millions of dollars in a casino you don't fully understand its market yet. Do more study, OP, and reject some of the suggestions.
1790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 19, 2022, 07:20:47 PM
Messi done and dusted. The jubilation of the Argentina and Messi fans are awesome. But there is a wrong notion on Messi that, he is the best player of football in all time. How Messi becomes the best in all time? How many Copa America cups has he won? How many Club side Cups has he won? How many world Cups has he won? Messi is not the best in all time. But he was good in football. Even this last world cup of 2022 at Qatar, mbappe was the one who took the Golden Boot not Messi. And that golden boot determine the best player of the tournament.
You can't measure his whole life merit by last class result.  I think a great player doesn't just determine the Golden Boot.  Rather, Bellandio decides who is the best.  There is no trophy that Lionel Messi has not won.  You can never measure up to Messi with Mbappe's Golden Boot.  Yes, but you can say that Mbappe is going to be the best in the world if Messi follows Cristiano Ronaldo.

You know why France supporters make irrational arguments, that is because they are not happy else no one in their right state of mind would want to compare Messi's historic performance to that of Mbape. I can understand certain comparisons of Mbape to Messi when Messi was still around his age, in fact, right now, he has done some things that are better than young Messi if their ages are compared, but it is ridiculous to says he has the same talent as Messi,  let show the greatest of all time some respect.

Mbappe is actually the man of the match yesterday because it got him to the top of his careers whereby everyone watching have their attention fully concentrated on him with his versatile performance, i think this season will begin the unfolding of his best dispensational career era to be world kost recognized player after Messi, other players as well have make name and fame but i think that of Mbappe has just begun with this achievements from the world cup.

Man of the match that couldn't win the match, ask yourself, if they should award the Man of the Match to Mbape, what would now should be given to Emiliano Martinez? Argentina goal keeper is the closest to that with his great penalty saves, but they politely handed it to Messi, which is appropriate given his overall performance.
1791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2022 Discussion Thread on: December 18, 2022, 08:15:46 PM
Very congrats to Argentina but France and especially mbappe stressed Messi before it became victorious to Argentina, Argentina has and especially messi has tried his best to defeat mbappe and he achieve it by chance of penalty kick, without coman that missed France second penalty kick the victory of Argentina wouldn't have come to accomplish, messi is the happiest player in Argentina because of the world best he has received in this world cup. Very big congratulations to Argentina players.

Messi's dream came true, but I believe we the supporters are the happiest. I was injured in their second goal when I jumped on a buddy without realizing it and kicked my leg into the chair. It was someone who informed me I was bleeding on the leg, and I was like OMG Shocked That is the fun and passion of football, and now that the greatest of all time has been determined, we can all focus on Mbape and the new players we have on board that would coordinate the new trend.

Mbape tried his best, but the team let him down. To be honest, I have always despised him for his reluctance to join Real Madrid, but with his hat trick today, the man deserves everything. Unfortunately, two of his players failed to score their penalty moments, giving Argentina the margin. The golden booth is enough to show their efforts, see them in four years again.
1792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 18, 2022, 08:00:44 PM
One of the best finals and i thought Argentina will win the match easily but Mbappé played one of his best games of his career including a hat trick in the finals which is incredible and then to end up in a loosing team is heart breaking. It was the Argentina's goalie Emiliano Martínez that got them to the final and then he did some incredible saves during the penalty shoot out as well. Messi finally kissed the cup which was eluding him Kiss.

I think this is my best World Cup so far and I must confess, both teams put in their best effort in today's match regardless of the outcome. My ticket didn't go as predicted as I chose a straight win for Argentina, I knew it was going to be tough for them but I had believed in Lionel Messi and despite that, I never won anything, I was happy that Argentina went through this night.

Argentina had everything on their hands in the first half, but the moment Dimaria became substituted with Acuna, they became relentless and that was when France bring in Camaviga to change the game for them, I was extremely upset with their actions throughout. However, final matches are usually difficult, and that is what happened today, and thanks to their hero, Martinez Emiliano, for those two fantastic saves in the penalty.
1793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are we ever going to see this on gambling platforms some day. on: December 18, 2022, 07:23:01 PM
This is highly possible.  But I think this fall under esports betting.  The current setup for e-sport betting is that people bet on a tournament match just like sports betting.  So if you wanted to participate in this kind of gambling you need to register yourself in tournament and bet for yourself when a sportsbook take your fight for betting.

This is actually possible but it will not be upto standard, it is possible for a casino to have a tournament for multiplayer but I doubt if it will come close to like having the features of Moral Kombat in reality, remember that Playstations are designed purposely with dedicated graphics to load that kind of features, if a casino want to try that kind of features, the web may take forever to load up the game.

Quote
This has been taken care of by the sportsbook, so we might see casinos getting this just like sports betting.  But I do think that it is possible for a casino to consider this kind of play but they need to study the profitability of this kind of game but Casino isn't in rush because as we know esports betting is already around.

The amount and time to do this kind of game wouldn't work for Casinos not to talk of the amount they will spend and the little amount they will generate and is not as if everyone would be interested, if anyone is interested to play this kind of game, it has multiplayer options, one can bet upon themselves and not necessary you must go to a casino.
1794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are we ever going to see this on gambling platforms some day. on: December 17, 2022, 06:36:33 PM
Is there any fighting game like Mortal Kombat where you challenge gamers around the world taking a bet? I don't want to take bet on Mike Tyson or Joshua I want gaming by one self, I believe this is less dependant on Luck, this requires more skill than mere luck.

This game is multiplayer and is often played by two or more groups of players. The reason why I believe we don't typically see this kind of discussion is that casinos don't typically host this kind of game. This isn't because they don't want to, but rather because the requirements are high and it would take a lot of resources to build something of that nature online.

Casinos wouldn't invest in something that wouldn't bring in money for them and only a small number of players and hence another reason why you don't see such kind of discussion in this board. Additionally, it is impossible to compare multi-player gaming to sports like boxing and UFC, given the amount of money that celebrities like Drake and other big names invest in those sorts of games.
1795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I Am So Done With Betting Until.... on: December 17, 2022, 06:14:41 PM
Sport betting especially on football is very unpredictable, most atimes I have felt frustrated because of betting, because you will invest all your money on a particular game, thinking it's sure and at the end of the game, you end up being frustrated by the results that will come out of the game played. It got to a point that I decided to stop betting because of the amount of money I've lost in the process.
I  have decided to be betting once in a while now,and I will bet on just one or two games, unlike the multiple games I used to bet on before that I will end up having cut one,and losing.

Sports betting is easy in some leagues, while before the commencement of a match, you will know an outcome except on rare occasions when some unexpected kinds of stuff happen. For example, over the years, Arsenal matches with big teams are the kind of matches you will look to predict easily but these days, it is hard to say like Arsenal has become the pack we all downgrade. On a serious note, despite the fact that football occasionally does feel hard to predict, I think it has versatile options where you can bet, it is not limited to just win, draw or lose but we have under, over, penalty, goal or no goal and many more to chose with decent odds that can give you significant money.
1796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Qatar world cup Final Predictions on: December 17, 2022, 04:50:45 PM
Several fans expected with Argentina ability to win World Cup comparison with Spain in the World Cup 2010 era where get beaten at first match and later success lead as the winner. Actually, Argentina have the same way with Spain success win World Cup tittle in 2010 because first game loss from Saudi Arabia and later won two matches in group stages.

I have personally seen Argentina attempt to fail in the group stage of two World Cups but come out strongly to a group of 16, the first one in 2018, they couldn't make it to the final, and here is another one now but this time they successfully make it out of the group stage and would be having their final match tomorrow. Perhaps the World Cup of 2022 will be different since Messi would be having his final moments with Argentina, and I hope he really makes it as his final dream.

Quote
I don't sure with all myth have coming true, looking with France success destroy myth about defense national team can't qualify from group stage but France as the first national team from World Cup 2002 until 2018 can lead not only from group stage but also have achievement until final stage, one step closer with France get second time in a row with World Cup trophy.

I believe the recent World Cup has given France a lot of confidence going into tomorrow's match. France's matches weren't as difficult as people had expected, perhaps because of their group or because they were simply favorites. If Argentina loses tomorrow, it will favor Mbape, who will go down in history as the only player to have won two consecutive World Cups for France.
1797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 17, 2022, 03:54:22 PM
That's right, events on the ground are unpredictable. Argentina and France both have chances to win, the match will be difficult for both. We will watch Croatia vs Morocco in soon, we can enjoy today's match to watch because they will fight for third place. It will be an interesting match, both teams are equally strong.
Very hard to predict which team that will be winning the game. Im feeling so headache to pick one from both caused by bookies gave almost similar odds. There are no huge gaps with the odds between croatia and morocco. Both have a very good odds at this moment. I have decided to pick croatia over morocco caused by croatia has more experience compared with morocco. Remember that in the last world cup croatia able to be qualified for the final but that's very sad to say that if croatia got defeated by france at final.
I think that croatia more capable compared with morocco to winning this game. There are many people have been waiting for another match from the world cup and we will almost reach the end of world cup.

Initially, I thought the Morocco match against Croatia would be very hard to decide, both teams ball possession was not quite different with just a fair margin but after the first half, I am skeptical if the Morocco I once knew will be able to win the third place because after both teams scored their early goals, Croatia change its game and now doesn't want to give Morocco a single chance, Croatia defensive players know how to communicate and the forward are very skilled in pass accuracy, I have this feeling that Croatia will win this match with 3 goals to 1 by the end of the day.
1798  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving one third what you earn monthly is not that hard, isn't it ? on: December 16, 2022, 03:47:37 PM
It's easier said than done, and I'm surprised you didn't include a health bill or insurance. A job that pays $3,000 per month is not a joke, it will require your strength, mind, brain, and focus, and as a result, you will be stressed out at the end of the day, and stress upon stress weakens the body, probably causing breakdown and endangering your health, I believe good health is a good wealth, and it should be included.

Now, your estimates depend on where you live. I can survive on $500 in food, but if I buy everything I need for cooking, I will save even more. However, you cannot expect someone living in a well developed country in a city to survive on $500 per month, I doubt if it will last a month.

Well, I actually thought about adding health bill/insurance cost but withdrew. The reason was very simple: we consider to be young at that age range and if we don't execise and take care of our body, we won't survive any job because nowadays the competition is fierce. But back to my calculation, even you add this extra cost, let's say $100 per month, $1,000 can also be saved.

An average guy that has a genotype AA will want to work his ass off to get that $3k per month job but unfortunately, you can't survive that way here in Nigeria because you will one way or the other suffer mosquitoes bite, I personally speak from experience. There is no month that goes by without treating Malaria, not because I'm careless, I take the necessary precaution, fleet my room but you know, a single bite of mosquito has enough plasmodium to break you down. What am I saying, not all exercise can make you healthy, there are some things you cannot avoid and should be taken into consideration if you want to talk about reality.
1799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 16, 2022, 03:23:46 PM
Yes, the Barcelona legend has won various titles. Now Messi is on track to claim the crown for best player at this year's World Cup after his stunning form and victory in the final would cap his main ambition of winning the World Cup to cap a truly extraordinary career. If Messi wins the championship and also the individual title at the biggest tournament, then he is the most phenomenal footballer in the universe.
Now Argentina really has to fight for the World Cup title that is in sight. At the moment individual achievements are less important than the achievements of the Argentine team, so I think Messi will put aside his personal achievements as much as possible to help Argentina win the title.

I think Messi has been neutral so far in this world cup and I think despite being the highest goal scorer for Argentina, only Griezmann come close to second with assists after Messi, he is versatile judging from all the effort he made to help Julian Alvarez in the last match. The goal is to make his name for this Trophy in honor of Argentina, and I hope the referee doesn't act like the one that handles the game against Croatia.

Quote
So far, Argentina's performance has been very good. They didn't reach the final as smoothly as France, but Argentina has proven itself in the final. Beating France will never be easy, but I'm sure Messi and company will do their best. The chances are the same, but I really hope Messi can close his fight in this World Cup with a title.

The shuffle after the round of 16 didn't favour Argentina but despite the bumpy road, they come true and this will serve as a strong hand for them by the time they meet with France, the match between Morocco and  France wasn't that interesting when compared to Argentina with Croatia, I think we know the winner of the World cup already.

If you are in twenties or early thirties and remain single, earn $3,000 after tax per month, you will probably save $1,000 if you, let's say, spend $500 to $800 on rental, a guest bedroom in a shared house/apartment, $500 on food, $50  on utilities, $150 on phone/internet bills, $400 on commuting costs or gas/maintainance if you have a used car, $200 on occasional entertainment or others. This $1,000 savings will allow you to invest or place a house down payment when time is ripe. Is this possible based on where you live ?

It's easier said than done, and I'm surprised you didn't include a health bill or insurance. A job that pays $3,000 per month is not a joke, it will require your strength, mind, brain, and focus, and as a result, you will be stressed out at the end of the day, and stress upon stress weakens the body, probably causing breakdown and endangering your health, I believe good health is a good wealth, and it should be included.
