1781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2022 Discussion Thread on: December 15, 2022, 10:27:24 PM
The games are actually getting more interesting day by day, but the finals will be particularly exciting because both teams will want to win. My main concern right now is Morocco, and I hope they take third because I believe they deserve it after putting in so much effort. I'm not worried about France because I know they will deliver the cup fully to them, and Argentina should take second because I'm still upset that Brazil and England were eliminated. Grin
1782  Economy / Economics / Re: The impact of Russian and Ukrain war on world economy on: December 15, 2022, 09:22:33 PM
indeed this is a difficult situation for everyone in this world. due to war, and has a negative impact on society. such as fuel becomes expensive and so on. and many companies closed. and finally unemployment becomes a lot. and rampant. and I can only hope that the world economy will recover and prosper in the future. and may the war end soon.
The ban that was placed on Russia will affect their economy, but Putin doesn't seem to be concerned about that. It's true that when it comes to war, it has a significant impact on both the economy and social lives of people as well as the environment. When the war started, talking about the casualties and lives lost was just heartbreaking. Sometimes I wonder what can't be resolved instead of going to war. I pray we can all stay in peace but I know is going to be difficult.
1783  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I invest in cryptocurrency or start my business? on: December 15, 2022, 08:52:21 PM
When it comes to making this choice, I believe you should give it some thought before coming to a decision because, while investing in bitcoin won't be bad at all, considering it to be a long-term investment, and I actually understand how you feel when it comes to choosing one, I feel that investing in physical business  is not also bad. If you aren't using the money right now, I believe you can actually buy and hold, the opportunity is still there to do so. Also, if you want to buy, please stay away from altcoins and also avoid keeping your assets in an exchange and please keep your private key in a safe place.
1784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 15, 2022, 08:15:08 PM
Congratulations for France's victory, they played well and quickly penetrated the Moroccan defense and were able to score 2 goals in last night's match, as I predicted that the two of them would meet in the final and this would be a great match, I believe Argentina will not miss the chance to beat the champions survive france in the world cup final, argentina will be the winner in this year's world cup
If we collect the percentage of who will win the World Cup between Argentina vs France, then I'm sure Argentina will get a bigger percentage than France. One of the strong reasons people predict Argentina will win in the final is because Messi and the other players on the Tango team are more qualified than France.

As one of France's supporters in every major tournament like the World Cup, I'm sure France will continue their success in the final against Argentina.
The strong reason we say that is because France does not play for one player, but every player plays for the whole team. It was seen from the group stage to the last game against Morocco in the semifinals.  Wink
I disagree with your prediction that Argentina will defeat France. That's not likely, in my opinion; the main justification you guys give is Messi. One thing people don't understand is that evaluating Ronaldo's and Messi performance is not to be compared with what is currently playing, but rather to consider their respective past records. According to the analysis, France has 80% of the World Cup's remaining matches. Messi is not visible to me because his performance is poor compared to the effort Mbappe is making, and the only relevant role I see Messi playing is scoring penalties.
1785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 15, 2022, 08:54:47 AM
Speaking of yesterday's match, France has more world cup experience than Morocco, but despite Morocco's loss, their supporters were still proud of them because, while other nations like Spain, England, and Brazil did not advance to the semi-finals, Morocco did. This is quite an accomplishment, and the fact that Morocco was the only African nation to qualify was actually the hope for all Africans to win the world cup. and when they face Croatia, I'm confident they'll do better and secure third place. I wish Morocco luck.
1786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 14, 2022, 09:23:24 PM
And finally, my boys have delivered France scored two goals there is no way Morocco would have won but they did try their best, I love their spirit to have made it this far they deserve applause so now it's France against Argentina in the finals and Morocco playing Croatia, and from the stats they both have the same shot on target and Morocco recording 61% of ball possession, with just a record of one yellow card, the two teams played maturely.
1787  Economy / Economics / Re: Have Satoshi dream failed? on: December 14, 2022, 08:33:30 PM
I don't believe that Satoshi's dream has come to an end, and I believe that he never intended for bitcoin to function as a monetary system but rather as a payment method. Paying taxes also doesn't seem to have any impact on his vision, in fact, I believe that bitcoin is improving. If we look at the past and compare it to the present, we can see that countries like El Salvador and Brazil have adopted bitcoin, and El Salvador even has a bitcoin beach, which shows that things are improving
1788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 14, 2022, 07:19:12 PM
My predictions are already coming true The way France is playing in this match is clearly indicating that more goals will be scored. Morocco has had more ball possession than France, but what they need is goals to celebrate against my beting ticket's straight win for France. I knew Morocco could not win against France even with their formation. Just five minutes had passed when T. Hernandez scored a goal. they still need a good luck wish from me.
1789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 14, 2022, 06:50:22 PM
I saw a pretty humorous photo of a former Miss Croatia declaring that she would go naked if Croatia won the World Cup. I don't think the declaration served as motivation, I believe that Messi is receiving far too much credit, which is unfair considering that the only thing I can see him doing is taking penalties. Tonight is the night we have all been waiting for Morocco vs. France and predictions for France's victory are almost certain. However, looking at Morocco's formation (5-4-1), it appears that the country is going all defensive and will not be able to stop France.
1790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2022 Discussion Thread on: December 14, 2022, 06:03:36 AM
Ronaldo would have preferred to play against Messi since this will be their final World Cup now I feel Ronaldo pain, and tonight is going to be a night Morocco will never forget after making it to the semi finals, and been the only African country to qualify and defeating Spain along the way, Morocco have made history. Argentina have qualified for the finals, and will play against any country that wins today's game between France and Morocco which I am certain France will win, and Croatia will play against anyone that loses the game for third place. Luck to both countries.

Argentina 3 - 0 Croatia match Argentina played a very nice game. Argentina scored 3 goals in this game. Argentina played so well that Argentina fans are very happy. Now they will consult how Argentina will win the final. But Argentina seems this time.  will win the final game. because argentina has started playing very well in all matches now. we saw argentina play bad game only in first match then they realized their mistake now try to play better all the time.
They did try and play very well, and the game ended 3 nil not bad with Alvarez J. scoring two goals both teams having the same record of the yellow card. I was actually tempted to play Argentina straight win but I lost the bet after giving Croatia a straight win. They got lucky to have won against Croatia, but I don't think they will be that lucky to win the world cup. I shouldn't show much hatred for them. both even at that good luck to Argentina and Messi.
1793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 13, 2022, 08:40:01 PM
By a score of two, Argentina scored against Croatia. I Am astonished and shocked that Argentina scored Croatia after picking Croatia to win consecutively. The fact that their opening goal was a penalty gave them a leg up to score a good goal, which they accomplished. Although I don't like Messi or Argentina after what happened to Portugal, I prayed and hoped for Croatia to score in the second half to tie the score. This world cup is one of the finest ones I've ever watched, full of entertaining and challenging to forecast.
Clock is ticking and Croatia is getting enough time to accept that they have already lost the game.
They would not be shocked on their defeat like Brazil was. Croatia was really playing when they were having quarter final with Brazil and now they are helpless.
Argentina's performance tonight has left me speechless; even though I'm not a fan, I'm impressed. Good look to Agentina. I can't wait to watch my boys play and lift the trophy as predicted, but I'm confident that Morocco won't be able to defeat France. It's true that Croatia have already lost this match since Argentina just added another goal. i just have one sweet feeling about france winning morocco, and sincerely morocco have tried but watching them play against Portugal not impressed at all.

1795  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will not become the world currency. on: December 13, 2022, 07:34:03 PM
In 2019, I was fascinated by Bitcoin after I was introduced to it. I have been following the attitude of governments towards bitcoin and hope it will be promoted. However there has been too much negative news in the past two years. I reacquaint myself with bitcoin and fiat money.

Money is a tool for exchanging goods and services in human social life, and whichever tool makes it into the system becomes the de facto currency. Governments regulate the economy by issuing money, which means they can control it. Bitcoin, on the other hand, cannot be controlled, which is why we like it, but also why governments don't like it.

After I figured it out, I no longer expect Bitcoin to be recognized by the state, and it doesn't need to be. It is part of a special asset, not a currency.
So I don't think Bitcoin is going to become a fiat currency.

Bitcoin is better than banks and fiat even though they serve different purposes. The bank simply has too many self-interests in making money off of people and too many dysfunctions, such as failed transactions. Even though bitcoin has its own risks, such as numerous scams, the most important thing is for you to understand the fundamentals and that security comes first. so I don't if bitcoin will become world money.

You no need to bother yourself too much about this matter my guy, if dem implement dis then even the market people go improvise, na because dem never introduce am you dey reason say e go hard. Even person wey no go school now fit operate and use ATM machine. Before dem introduce am for even civil servants to dey collect money from bank instead of table payment dem been grumble but now dem prefer am like that. Anything wey person put head say him go do, e go definitely work out like that. Make we just dey watch see how the matter go be after dem implement am because I no see any reason wey dem go stop am now since e don reach dis stage like dis.
The thing be say for this our very country we like to jump into conclusions without proper investigation and analysis. We go just sit down for chambers dey talk I hear say this and that. If you really take out time to go through this new policy you go realize say CBN really try with this new policy. Is not that you can not spend more than 20k a day as majority of us dey think. You go fit spend millions or billions of naira a day but all transactions must be traceable na wetin CBN dey try achieve be that. Even the reps wey wan make dem reverse the policy na for their selfish interest and not for the interest of Nigerians.
my brother na true you talk the new policy actually make sense he go actually give the currency value and reduce the circulation of cash in general, so them try abeg make we look at the positive aspect of the policy, if you look am we get so many policy to amend and starting from the cbn I like this step them take, at least reformation done they come small small my brother.
1797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 12, 2022, 08:54:55 PM
Morocco has demonstrated its ability to qualify as an African nation, but now that they must play France, I believe that is where their journey will come to an end. I don't think they can defeat Mbappe, who is really a tool of destruction, and I love France. Tomorrow's match between Argentina and Croatia will be difficult; I hope Croatia wins because I'm not a big fan of Messi. It will be difficult for Argentina to win this world cup, so the sooner they leave the tournament, the better.
1798  Economy / Economics / Re: FTX Drama and Global Empact on: December 12, 2022, 08:36:46 PM
We place a lot of trust in centralized exchanges, especially when it comes to investing in alternative currencies, but FTX serves as a strong reminder never to leave your money in them. If you want to thrive in cryptocurrency, avoid alt coins and invest in more promising coins like bitcoin. It will be one of the best decisions most people won't still listen. After the FTX collapse and Luna, many people lost a lot of good money.
1799  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you think the market will take to recover? on: December 11, 2022, 08:43:09 PM
there is a small recovery happens this december as bitcoin finally broken 17k again and looking at it now? seems that there is a chance to remain this position or at least going more up for this month and the end of the year?

but how long to recover from the losses since the last ATH? then this will take long in my humble position because we knew that Halving mostly is the timing when the market make its way up.
One thing is that it is never easy to predict what will happen in the market, continuously monitoring the price will be heartbreaking, most people have sold all of their assets just to watch the market, investing is not for the weak, looking at those who purchased when bitcoin was priced at around 60,000 and now it is between 16,000 and 17,000, the best course of action after investing is just to hold to make a profit and not selling off and avoid altcoins. Learning to manage risk and scams should also be a priority.
