1781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you truly believe in cryptocurrency on: February 01, 2018, 06:11:43 AM
The Banks and Governments around the world either love it or hate it, but if the world embraces Bitcoin and Altcoins in general we will be a much more balanced and healthy world in general. I think there is nothing to fear about this new technology that has been created to solve many inefficiencies in our current administration and economical systems that have run for centuries and have only served the Elite Few. I am very much behind this revolution in Crypto that should help more layers in our fragmented societies evolve and flourish.
1782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Get Rid Of Bitcoins ? on: February 01, 2018, 06:03:26 AM
If you want to play it safe, just divide your Bitcoin into two or three big coins and then sit on them for a year or two and then see how it goes. You could also use a small portion of your BTC and keep that for investing in promising ICOS that might give you a really good short to medium return and grow your Bitcoin capital. I don't have much Bitcoin but I might use some of it to get into two or three good ICOS this month as my portfolio has stagnated a bit of late.
1783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The trillion dollar question: What w'd be the impact of Facebook ban on ICO Ads? on: January 31, 2018, 09:48:54 PM
This will only drive crypto enthusiasts from these mainstream corporate giants like Facebook into more decentralized versions of social media. Of course this may affect the amount of new money flooding in from mainstream sources into Crypto as the banks clamp down on us and mainstream media and social media turns their backs on us and bans us crypto lovers. The war is on, do we sit and fight or cut and run? That is the big question to ask now. It's do or die for crypto lovers everywhere..
1784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Financial freedom, is it possible in 1-2 years? on: January 31, 2018, 09:42:32 PM
I think the next two years is going to bring many people in this field to Financial Freedom and some people might and most probably will become very wealthy. You need to be very focused and determined and work hard in the beginning. As time goes by, working hard will turn into working smart and your more smarter decisions might land you that holy grail you have been looking for. I hope that within four years total,  I will be able to live a life free from worry, so for me that's another two years. I am slower than most here due to my age I guess.  Grin
1785  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How Do You Secure Your profits? on: January 31, 2018, 09:27:37 PM
I am not a very good day trader. I primarily hold for long term and just take out what I need for living expenses, then will set certain targets to take some more profits out as my long term positions materialize to the goals I have set for them. This can be both very risky and very rewarding, but if two of my long term holdings succeed and reach the minimum target I have for them, I will be very relaxed in the future. Both my long term coins are also revenue generating holdings.
1786  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: CryptoCurrency Portfolio manager on: January 31, 2018, 09:10:18 PM
I use cryptocompare to track my portfolio but I use it on the internet through my laptop or desktop to check prices. I am not that mobile savvy to download too many apps so not sure if there is a mobile version but it does give nice analytics about the coins and tokens it gets listed. I also believe ETHOS is going to come out with a complete crypto wallet and portfolio manager, so am looking forward to when that goes live at some point because it will help noobs get into crypto.
1787  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: happening to crytocurrency today on: January 31, 2018, 06:20:33 PM
It's good for the panic buyers but not for the panic sellers who dump at every sign of fud or jittery about every piece of negative news. One thing that does concern me at present is the state of USDT or TETHER, because if it is a ponzi scheme like BITCONNECT AKA BITCONREKT then many whales who park their money in USDT thinking it is safe might wake up one day with their pants down literally, thinking they are always clever in trying to tank the market every time and creaming all the profits lol. They might wake up to a really rude awakening and find their capital preservation techniques not quite so frosty anymore.
1788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]COSS Token Swap ICO is LIVE on: January 31, 2018, 06:16:26 PM
Any chance on lowering the listing fee on this exchange?
From what I see, the listing fee is around 200,000 COSS tokens right?
And right now, each COSS is around 0.00008765 BTCtc (at current price).
So that's almost 18 BTCtc listing fee? Isn't that a bit absurd? Or am I missing something here. Correct me if I'm wrong. Smiley

That was the old price, they just haven't removed it yet also coins that have trading promos get listed for free I think. Also another thing, I spoke to COSS RUNE in slack and he advised me to let anyone hear know that if they have a support problem to PM me your usernames and transaction i.ds of pending or missing deposits, withdraws so he can relay them immediately to the devs. So if any of you have issues still please pm me here and I will forward your problems to Rune in slack DM as soon as I get online within 24 hours. I hope I can be of help.  Smiley
1789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] POPULOUS - Invoice trading platform | ICO l BOUNTY CAMPAIGN on: January 31, 2018, 06:00:46 PM
The market is not good recently. The price is satisfactory for us and the ppt is developing well.

This because PPT is a new and succesful  player on the field of  crypto market where the oldest ones like BTC or ETH are already out of breath. As a resul the total amount of new money flowing into crypto is distributed to more promising players  instead of flowing exclusively into BTC and ETH.

I believe that once BETA is launched and the platform is actually live, there will be many layers added to this platform I think and it will host many other fintech products in the future. It is not just for factoring, I believe more will come but NICO the BOSS of PPT does not like to say much until he has all his ducks lined up in a row because of the competitive nature of this business of course. BETA will come any hour now, we are all waiting for it to pop. I hope it happens in the next few hours.
1790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tokens vs Coins on: January 31, 2018, 05:53:13 PM
Coins either have their own blockchain or are FORKS of coins that run their own blockchains and the tokens are smart contracts created from blockchains so they run and are created differently. Also tokens are primarily preferred by many startup businesses that are not directly related to blockchain technology but are wanting to bring in micro investors into their fold to raise capital in a much faster way with a bigger distribution. So it's up to everyone to decide if they want to invest in coins or tokens or both.
1791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Waves hit $100 in this Year? on: January 31, 2018, 05:44:36 PM
I really have given up on price speculation and predictions in general. When I see the markets constantly crashing this month and no real breathing space for most coins to rise and many coins losing over 70% of their value I am losing confidence in the way crypto markets are going and these day traders and bots are destroying any real chance of many coins rising. We need new money in the markers and at the moment the markets are bleeding bad.
1792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]COSS Token Swap ICO is LIVE on: January 30, 2018, 09:19:24 PM
Guys be careful with this coin, same stuff is behind on this coin like with veros coin, and if u check veros u will see now is a death coin.
I wish I could de-merit posts..

Me too lol, I wonder who is paying this Newbie poster to come to this thread to post baseless FUD. But of course you get all sorts of trash postis in this forum that's why there is a merit system now thank Goodness so trashy and baseless posts don't count anymore. Anyone with support issues should go to join the telegram chat group for help or the slack group, this forum isn't really for support issues but for general news.
1793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [ICO] [VZT] Vezt - Blockchain-secured Music Monetization Platform on: January 30, 2018, 04:19:09 PM
Ahahaha!  Grin
Useless token!
The price fell from 4 dollars to 40 cents!

The exchanges are terrible, where it is represented.
wooow,,.. very low price, i think the team and developers can't do hardwork for this project.
but project is good i think.
It's probably a ton of bounty hunters just dumping their tokens on COSS EXCHANGE because that is what most bounty hunters do, dump at any price. I never dump my tokens when I receive my bounty as I know I would be selling myself out too cheap. Anyway I never joined the VZT bounty program as I found out about the coin on COSS so I entered the trading contest there and trying to win a prize and I will hold them till they gain a really decent value and grow with the project.
1794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Tigereum Token Swap opens 8 December 2017 on: January 30, 2018, 03:36:19 PM
I am also a member of COSS, along with my Husband but I like to also do arbitrage trades, this enables me to try to accumulate more of the desirable tokens. I like that you are solving a big problem here as I often want to send crypto to my Son and Family in the U.K as gifts but they are not as tech savvy as I am. Do you have the link as to where it is sold on ETHERDELTA?  didn't see TIG listed there as a token so maybe thought you might have added it via the contract. I want to check both COSS and ED prices.  Smiley When will you be listed on CMC and CRYPTOCOMPARE so we can add the token to our portfolio listings? This should be done asap so more peeps are aware of your project.
1795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO spreadsheets on: January 30, 2018, 06:30:20 AM
I would love a nice thread with all the hot PRE ICOS, so we can see at a glance which ICOS are in PRE ICO stage as well, like Genieico has a 50% bonus if you buy in the ICO and I am thinking of doing that one as 50% is a great incentive to buy in that early and get that kind of bonus. Maybe I should start a spreadsheet also with PRE ICO listings.
I think it's great to help Newbies coming into this space.  Smiley
1796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FRESH AIRDROP on: January 30, 2018, 06:25:33 AM
Please note that some of them request you to donate. I tried to do the ETHEREUM NEO but it asked me for a donation so for the time being I left it like that but sometimes the airdrops are really worth the effort and the little donation risk. I will check back at this thread when I get more time on my hands. Thanks for posting the airdrops, that's very kind of you.  Smiley Many people start with airdrops then they work their way up to buying new tokens in pre icos or doing freelance jobs for coins.
1797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]COSS Token Swap ICO is LIVE on: January 30, 2018, 06:10:59 AM
I need to alert everyone that I sent ETH to COSS Exchange on Jan 13th but my ETH balance is still 0 and nothing has been corrected ever since. I opened a support ticket on Jan 14th and they automatically answered they could take up to 10 days to answer.

Worse than that, History shows the following:

Jan 13, 2018, 6:21:34 PM   ETH   withdrawal (processed)   Token Withdrawal Smart Contract Execution Fee

I withdrew nothing. Nothing was credited to my COSS wallet either. All token balances show zero. The Ether are actually still on COSS Ethereum wallet as can be seen on Etherscan. They simply scammed my Ethers and do not respond!

Be aware of these scammers!

There were a lot of problems with the ETH blockchain at that time but since then they have resolved the issue, do you want to PM me your username and email and I will directly DM COSS-RUNE on slack with your problem so he can expedite the issue. I am a moderator in the slack. Or if you are a member of the slack already send me qiwoman2 - THE COSSINATOR your details I will DM RUNE in the admin room.  Smiley. We DON'T want any unhappy campers and we can try to resolve your problem. ONE THING COSS isn't is a scam, they are compliant with all Singapore regulation and believe me if they were, they would be shut down by the Singaporean authorities in no time. There is a back log of tickets in Support at present but there is NO scam and they are trying their best to keep adding more staff.
1798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] POPULOUS - Invoice trading platform | ICO l BOUNTY CAMPAIGN on: January 30, 2018, 06:08:03 AM
Whales are starting to set up some more walls to hold the price in one spot. they dont want to buy and push up the price too quickly so they set up big walls to try stop it from going up and then hoping that idiots freak out and sell to them.

If the whales cant buy a big amount for a good price, they will try and get YOU to sell them to instead.....

Same thing happening on Paypie right now as well.  They love to play this psychology game on people. But anyway this is actually a good sign. it means the whales want alot more. Which is good. **DONT GIVE IT TO THEM THOUGH* When they take down those walls the flood gates will open again.

I ain't selling one PPT cheap t the funky blue whales because I also loaded up just before the 35% price hike this week. I am hoping though that Beta DOES launch on time as we don't want a mass sell off and confidence losing for PPT as it has bult up a lot of MOMENTUM up to Beta. I will be even more excited though to see the first invoices gobbled up and pad out, THAT will be HUGE in this space as PPT is first to market with such a platform in a fintech space that is worth trillions of dollars annually.  Smiley I just wanna earn the passive income so I can help my dad quit his day job.
1799  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Someone Just Transferred 40000 Bitcoins on: January 30, 2018, 06:04:49 AM
I find it hard moving anything over 2k USD here rofl so that's a whopping amount of BTC. I wonder what type of whale is shifting that kind of money around. Maybe it's a bank or an exchange or even the Japanese Exchange hackers. It could be anyone but that is a hefty some of money to move around in one go. I wouldn't risk moving that kind of money amount in one transaction. Can you imagine it getting clogged up on the blockchain?  Grin Grin
1800  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Top reasons that leads to fail in trading on: January 30, 2018, 05:59:39 AM
I like your synopsis as well and it is very helpful for newbies. I also have another one to add on the list. Don't buy during FOMO and don't sell during FUD. So many times we may lose great opportunities for holding a coin to reap the long term rewards because of selling to early or buying in too late. You need also to check the roadmap of a coin, don't just follow the day traders, they don't always get it right because you might sell your coins just before a huge price spike due to an impending important announcement. If it means holding on a few more days to see the price double, hold!!!
