841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshis or lots of alts on: September 21, 2018, 10:48:02 AM
Many peeps make their money through trading, whether we like it or not alts are here to stay. It's good to hold a bit of both, then when some very good alts go up, you can trade again and grow your Bitcoin. Some alts will go up a higher percentage rate than Bitcoin over the medium term, so then when you sell an alt for x 10 higher than you bought but Bitcoin has moved up say x 2, you will be better off. You just need to do your homework. Of course, very new icos and coins are even riskier because we don't know yet if they are scams or not, but some good projects, like Pundix which has a working product, I think are also good to invest in, alongside growing your BTC stash. For newibies though, best to just buy Bitcoin and hold.

I hold some amount of NPXS and I'm trying to forget about them for one year.
But I did not follow about airdrop, is there still rules where is enough to have npxs in wallet only last days in the month, or depend on how many days in total we hold coins in the wallet. I know that there was voting about that, but I don't know whats decided at the end.

https://blog.pundix.com/2018/08/16/the-new-npxs-monthly-unlocked-token-mechanism-will-start-in-september-2018/

There are links to this new airdrop distribution system which is in favor of long term holders. I will appreciate this to keep this HODL for long time and let the wallet for collecting airdrop to maximize our chance to make good amount of profit in future.

I'm on the same position, sometimes I trade a bit of my stack to make it even bigger. But overall hodling since ICO and there are a lot happening behind the scenes. NPXS will explode one day Smiley

You guys are really lucky that you were able to buy at ICO prices and also people entering the PUndi X market now and buying up are lucky. I don't regret investing in Pundi x, only the time I got in at was 200 sats, so I am way down on my investment but trying hard to average down my cost with a little trading. There is no other way I can grow my bag at the moment as I have no other source of income coming in. I just hope the bear market doesn't last too long or it will wipe many holders out if this goes down to ICO price and lower. I just hope Pundi X developments will be significant enough over the next three months in order not to see another further drop in price. They are working very hard though, the Team and traveling everywhere to make alliances and partnerships.

Really sucks that you are losing so big here but do you mind if I ask what was the ICO price of the project?

Yeah, I am very down but hope maybe in a year or less I might be lucky to break even and be in profit. I did buy as a long-term hold anyway but of course, didn't expect to go 905 down in a few months from holding it. I have high hopes though and Peko Wan delivered a great speech at the coin consensus in Singapore, so that gives Pundi X more exposure because we will be nicely positioned when mass adoption does happen. We will one day reach that critical mass tipping point and I believe if anyone owns at least one million Pundix by then, they will be sitting nice and comfortable. Also remember once December airdrop finishes, next year inflation will be sitting at only 2.25 a month and if more and more npxs are burnt through use in the xpos machines, then supply will eventually decrease and demand will rise, so then we see what happens with the price..

844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FOR BOUNTY HUNTERS on: September 20, 2018, 05:22:20 AM
Yeah for the last few months the well has been pretty dry for me whereas before I could live from bounties, now I have to find other means of support and another job if I want to not be homeless this year, unless a miracle happens and we get a bull run and some of the bounties that owe me money actually pay me. One latest signature campaign I did for three months was scam and two signature campaigns I did as well still haven't paid me yet. They are delaying paying us for months now so for the last six months I haven't even been paid for a signature campaign yet. I am still here doing bounties but I just don't know how long I can spend time and not getting rewards on time, or being scammed. Even if you do due diligence, or choose a good bounty hunter, you can still get scammed. Last bounty I got scammed Bidium, ERICKVAND was the bounty manager, he is a good manager, just had a scam project to run.
845  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why shouldn’t we be concerned? on: September 20, 2018, 05:13:29 AM
This bear market is a death for many people and their coins and I am thinking how much lower can we get from here? Worse case scenario we can go down 50% but after that, the potential to go up 1000% is far greater because we are already at over 75% down since the January Peak. It has to rebound at some point. If everyone leaves then Bitcoin will be dead and I doubt it will die if companies all over the world are busy building infrastructure projects and countries are bothering to regulate it. If it was dying no government would be concerned about making regulations for it, but when will we see it go up again? Only God and the Whales know that.
846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Strict rules in Bounties, is it needed? on: September 19, 2018, 05:57:53 AM
Proof of identification posts are very much needed and I am sick and tired of bounty thieves and scammers trying hard to steal both my Husband's and my identities and content, which we work hard to produce and provide. This week we have wasted over 5 hours combined reporting scammers who have been awarded stakes instead of us and US labeled as the scammers, despite my husband having his ETH address in all his descriptions in the videos, so why don't the bounty managers check the proof of identity posts and eth addresses? I had to get my other half to make a PROOF OF IDENTITY VIDEO to put now in all his proof of authentication posts because we are fed up with these Vietnamese thieves, as there is a Vietnamese mafia going around stealing our work and even making telegram i.ds with our names and pictures lol, it's a joke. Why do these scammers work so hard to steal our work, instead of working to produce their own shit?
847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you still belive in Crypto ? on: September 19, 2018, 05:53:57 AM
Of course, I do and I still believe we are in the early adoption phase, with less than only 1% of the world's population owning crypto, we are still in early. This is a new emerging and revolutionary technology and even though this has been the hardest year for me with my nearly losing everything and being on the edge, I still hold out a candle of hope and am determined to stay in crypto for as long as I possibly can, that's if the big whales don't kill me in the process lol. I am passionate about how this can change many lives, especially those on the edge and unbanked people who have no access to economic services or products.
848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS HOLDING TRULY THE SOLUTION TO DROP OF BTC PRICE? on: September 19, 2018, 05:51:16 AM
I am not sure what to do anymore but when Bitcoin is at the bottom or near the bottom is it wise to sell unless you need to? O.K how lower can we go from here to around 4k USD? The upside from here on is much stronger than is the downside. I mean we could go down to 3-4k USD worse case scenario which is a 50% drop from here but the upside potential from here is a x 10 scenario, so the risk to reward ratio is healthier on the reward side don't you think? So at this juncture, unless you are desperate, I would say hold for now. It wouldn't be wise to dump at the bottom unless you are day trading and want to earn your daily percentages.
849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔵 [ANN][ICO] SOLD OUT! Aurora 🔥 Decentralized Finance and Banking + Exchange 🔵 on: September 18, 2018, 05:09:40 PM
I started to trade on Idex again now that they listed my favorite coin PUNDI X on there and I also trade TOMO token I wanted to ask if I keep trading there I will get AURA tokens every month according to my trading amounts? Also If I get to own 10k AURAS that means I will be able to join the AURA token staking program? I really like Idex and am trying to get at least one or two trades executed daily, which usually happens if I am lucky. I only own 950 Aura right now but I want to get to the 10k mark if possible. Maybe I can trade AURA as well to up my bag of AURAS also.

851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I earned $ 3500 from the 1 airdrop on: September 18, 2018, 05:11:49 AM
WOW, that is really good money. I missed that and want to know where can I find a safe and good list of airdrops? Does anyone know where I can enter airdrops that are safe please as many are scams and they try to steal your ETH keys etc. I will try to join some airdrops if I can and see if I can earn anything. Maybe one day or two days a week i can set aside to join some airdrops and try my luck? The best airdrop I ever did join was community coin years ago and I had sold it that time for around one Bitcoin but Bitcoin then was only worth around 700 bucks. Lately, I have hardly earned any money through bounties or airdrops for months now, delays and scams only.
852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ETH recover? on: September 18, 2018, 05:04:49 AM
ETH will be around because of its blockchain platform but with so many ICOS popping up and dumping huge amounts of ETH, like EOS is doing, I doubt it will be making a come back any time soon. I wouldn't be surprised if we get back to the ten dollar mark before any bull run comes. If that happens I might buy a few to stash away in case it does rise again. The main problem with ETH is that it is only a utility token used to buy in ICOS and then its dumped in large amounts by all these projects and companies. This is also affecting the whole market and the price of Bitcoin too. ICOS this year are one reason for the market crashes as well as Bitmex, Bitfinex, and CBOE futures trading, KOREAN and Chinese Fud on top.
853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DO PEOPLE STILL HAVE CONFIDENCE IN BITCOIN? on: September 18, 2018, 05:00:17 AM
A lot of people have folded and given up on Bitcoin because of the big drops and volatility and now people can earn money just by shorting it and not owning it in a bear market, is making the problem worse. Why would you want to hold something that others are making tons of money from by shorting it? Futures and Bitfiniex have killed Bitcoin for now, but I am sure one day in the future the Bulls will come back, but by then most of the small retail investors would have left because they are on their knees. I am almost at the end of my rope, I am only still in with my very small bag because I believe in the technology behind Bitcoin and still hold out a small candle of hope.
854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: September 17, 2018, 04:43:16 AM
I am so glad Pundi x is back on idex. With the binance walls taking ages and sometimes it takes 2-3 days for my buy and sell orders to go through, as I trade a small bag of my Pundix because having no job gives me no other option but to try to day trade a little to grow my bag and cost average down as I bought in ATH, I now also have a small bag on idex to trade. Although there is not much movement right now on Idex, at least I get some buys and sells over a few days and at the same time because I trade there I will receive free aura tokens too for trading there. I wish we got free BNB for trading on Binance lol but at least I get a fee in trading for using BNB to trade. Majority of my Pundix bag though is off the exchanges.
855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coin do you HOLD in 2018? on: September 17, 2018, 04:33:49 AM
I am mainly holding Pundi X, because of mass adoption strategies it has, a real product and it is also going to make its own blockchain as well, so all its operations will be in-house once it moves away from the Ethereum platform. I won little bags of ONT, VET, and ADA, wish I had a couple of privacy coins as well but I don't have any spare money right now. When I trade a little Pundi X for profits, I try to buy more coins with that. I had a lot in January but the value of my bags went down so much and many bounties that I did jobs for were scams, so earning has been really tight last few months and not enough to live on, so had to take form my bags to survive. I hope the bull run comes before I end up with nothing left lol.
856  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The major reason why suicide traders don’t want to use stop loss – part 2 on: September 17, 2018, 04:27:59 AM
I think I should try to use stop-loss as well, I have never done it before and yes, have seen my capital dwindle. I am not sure what to do and how to go about it but I am going to try to take this advice into account and learn how to use a stop loss. I am learning more about tools and indicators right now and trading only coins that I would want to keep if I were dumped on for a long time, like Pundi x. I also like to do arbitrage trading where possible but the stop loss trigger hasn't become my friend just yet. Maybe it's time to start while we are in a bear market to practice using a stop loss.
857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you were to spread the word of Bitcoin.. on: September 17, 2018, 04:22:12 AM
I would tell my Friends and Family as I do, that BITCOIN is limited in supply, very important point here, unlike our FIAT central bank money which gets printed and printed in more supply and is debt-ridden. Bitcoin is also easy to send, especially for remittances and is cheaper in fees than many traditional ways of sending money.
I also point out that it is decentralized money. No one government or institution can SHUT DOWN Bitcoin. Even if they made Bitcoin illegal, someone somewhere will be using it because it is also known as THE PEOPLE'S MONEY. Although now it is run by whales mainly with deep pockets.  Grin
858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: September 15, 2018, 06:17:12 AM
Everyone is looking at the magic one dollar mark but I bet as soon as it hits one cent, most of the peeps talking about one dollar will be long gone. We are already down 10 x from ATH, so many more weak hands will be gone from the Pundi x MARKET BEFORE WE EVER REACH A DOLLAR. Even I am looking at taking out a decent sized bag if it ever reached 5-10 cents as that would help me buy a piece of real state so I can earn some passive income as I don't want to work till I am 80 lol, then i would just trade the rest and let it ride. I bought in at between 1 to 1.5 cents so for me being 90% down on my Pundi bag, I got a long way to go. I think though that this project will be around for many years to come, so it's the kind of coin I would make sure I have enough of when I pass away to give to my Son and grandkids, as this will be a long-term project/holding in my eyes, but of course I want to benefit a bit form it while I am alive. I hardly have anything else in crypto, mainly I have Pundi now.
859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: legendary in bounty on: September 15, 2018, 06:09:59 AM
I am a Legendary member, but recently I have been plagued with ICO scams, like the last one, Bidium, I worked over three months every day on that campaign best way to engage to Legendary members is to pay them with either BTC or ETH on a weekly basis. It took me more than three years of posting on this forum to become Legendary, so waiting on ICOS to finish then run off and scam us is getting a bit too annoying nowadays. Another way is at least to escrow the funds until ICO ends as well, that way we know we will get paid. That would entice me to work with new people.
860  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New type of scammers in telegram! Keep your bitcoins safe! Watch out! on: September 15, 2018, 06:06:29 AM
Unfortunately Crypto has absorbed all kinds of the worst SCUM of the Earth and until there is more work done by the Community to stop these people, a lot of mainstream people will not even touch Crypto. The number of times I have been sha8fted by various nasty entities, many lurking even here on Bitcointalk forum, is a joke.

What you should do is use this thread to name and shame these nasty entities and their telegram ids so people can avoid them. My Husband started a thread for bounty cheaters as they keep trying to steal our content and pretend they are us. Yeap, these low lives will do anything in their power to steal from honest peeps in the Crypto Community. It's a real shame, but the only thing we can do is try to get together to catch these nasty elements so others can be warned at least.
