1781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do poker and sports betting skills correlate? on: August 11, 2021, 11:19:19 PM
Just take it as a pinch of salt.

There are users who have an idea of how to play in different game types. You also have that skills, OP. If those users can do Poker and Sports betting, you can also do both at the same time but on other game types. For me, I can also do both Sports betting and Poker but it's just that, I'm more comfortable betting in Sports betting.

To end my statement, there's no correlation between Poker and sports betting. The same skills were just applied.
1782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: August 11, 2021, 11:06:18 PM
But for him to say that he might still fight Pacquiao in the future? we will never know how negotiations are going to happen by that time. Pacquiao is known to be in another focus after this match so I guess if it's going to be a year or two, we'll never know if it's still possible or it could possibly be that Pacquiao already announces his retirement.

If Pacquiao will lose in the Election, he will fight again in the ring. It's just about less than a year to go before the election so it's not that long to wait. Spence Jr at that time is now recovered.

Pacquiao won't hang his gloves yet unless the new opponent will knock him out sending Pacquiao to retirement.

I see Pacquiao will still fight 2-3 times if he loses in the election. That was 1-2 years and his age will be around 43-44 years.
1783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should online gambling companies be responsible for harm related activities? on: August 09, 2021, 03:34:40 AM
Well, we're all grown-ups and it's not surprising to see some grown-up, adults, that are still cannot control their emotions and trying to look for some other things to blame with their own fault.

It's really hard to control our emotions because that was our nature. The thing that should be controlled is those negative things that can happen after a painful loss on gambling. Try being responsible at all times.

Gambling sites don't have to take action for their customers that got being irresponsible after playing on their site. That's out of their service but if they will have a program for those who fall, I will support them at all costs.
1784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will physical casinos accept crypto someday? on: August 09, 2021, 01:38:52 AM
I've been wondering what's been holding back real world casinos from adopting crypto? It is because they fear a government crackdown? Or because of crypto's volatility? With how popular crypto/Blockchain tech is right now, there should be at least one physical casino you can go to and place your bets with crypto. Thoughts? Huh

Physical casino owners are not holding back but rather there's no demand for it since other payment methods are more fast and quick.

In physical casinos, they can play with their cash right away 1:1 without worrying about the volatility. No need to purchase crypto or convert it. In the table room, chips can be bought instantly with credit cards which most big gamblers have.

Crypto is a good payment method but fiat payment whether physical or online are still much better in terms of transaction speed.
1785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake Turned 4 on: August 09, 2021, 01:23:38 AM
I just read in my email that Stake is turning 4. Reading forward that email, I see that there are lots of promotions and bonuses.

I just can't afford the $400,000 Birthday Giveaway where you need to wager at least $1,000 in order to get a ticket.

Congrats Stake for 4 years and counting.
1786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Gambling Platform In Your Region on: August 09, 2021, 12:50:00 AM
So can we share with each other the best 2021 Gambling/Casino platforms with best odds?

I think all popular gambling websites here do have the best odds.

It's just a matter of your own taste on which you like to use and preferred. If I'm not mistaken they are all referring to one odds provider so there's not much difference. Been in Nitrogesports, Sportsbet, Cloudbet, Stake.

Since you are encouraging anyone to share, what site do you share based on your own thoughts and view?
1787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 09, 2021, 12:15:09 AM
What is the difference with Lonzo Ball and Kyle Lowry and they are being attacked? They say it's a complicated issue, we may need to wait for NBA to stretch the details about it.

We need more information about this as I read some articles related to this, I still don't get it. Trades are public and there are official negotiations right so I don't think they will violate something that is an obvious mistake.

And before the final trade to be finalized, NBA is in the middle to approve the trade, right?

But if this the case well this line up is much better line up compare to their last season and if they can work out their chemistry also can rotate the ball then  this is the team will get a huge chance to win on Finals.

There are sayings that Schroder is hard to form chemistry. When he joined the Lakers, he has his own gameplay mostly. But let's see if next season, if there will be a change.
1788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Weekly/monthly financial statements, which do you prefer? on: August 04, 2021, 10:43:22 PM
As a way to keep track, would you like to receive regular, maybe weekly or monthly financial statements highlighting wins and losses from a gambling site?

If I'm not mistaken we can already see this feature on some gambling sites? Or just a betting history and overall wages?

I don't prefer to receive a financial statement but I'm not against that feature either. For large bettors, maybe they should have it as their money is constantly flowing from their wallets to the gambling site. For casual gamblers like me, no need for it unless I'm monitoring every cent that I spend.

Not worth betting on USA as the odds is just like 1.01,

Of course, you will skip that 1.01 but instead, you will pick the other betting options if you want to ride in the USA.

Total points seem interesting.

Over 165.5 = 1.81
Over 167.5 = 1.99

1792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 24, 2021, 11:51:35 PM
Is the current season of Japanse B. League now taking place? Ravena then can play next season and he should finish first the current conference to help his team.

If the PBA will allow imports after All-Filipino Cup or if IATF will allow another conference, nothing to worry if the team will not have Ravena to play for them next season. NLEX just needs to find a good import to cover the absence of Kiefer Ravena. What a special player, can play at Japan and PH season after season haha.
1793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: July 24, 2021, 11:36:04 PM
Since there will be no available NBA games to bet for several months, is there anything aside from games that can be bet to keep this thread alive? Betting futures is common and I think not a good time to bet for it.

Are there any sportsbooks that offer a bet for let's say Lebron will be traded to a team, YES or NO? Something like that but of course not in Lebron if anyone will start a discussion for that lol.
1794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tokyo 2020 Men's Olympics Basketball Tournament on: July 24, 2021, 11:13:18 PM
Does anyone beleive that France can make an upset? Why not?

France is not that solid as before so I don't think of an upset win. Team USA is better today as Bucks Jrue Holiday, Khris Middleton, and Suns Devin Booker will now be back to the lineup. These Bucks players are not just specialized in offense but also on defense as we have seen in the NBA Finals. Devin Booker is not good in defense that much but his handle and shooting are getting better like a Steph Curry 2.0.

Maybe France can do a close game but not a win.
1795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anything like excess gambling on: July 24, 2021, 10:57:38 PM
Some people could bet without even knowing the amount of time and money they have invested in gambling which could look obvious and call for estimation. I gamble a lot and sometimes I don't even know if it's becoming excess not.

Anything like excess gambling?

It's just common mate. I don't think we need a discussion about this.

It really happened for a gambler since we are expecting something good out of it. We will just continue to gamble no matter what without realizing we are now within our limits. Now to control it, we should start by ourselves and do everything to resist the temptation of doing gambling even how we feel lucky and optimistic at that particular time.
1796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season Champion: Milwaukee Bucks on: July 24, 2021, 10:44:28 PM
That's correct, both the Suns and Bucks are lucky that their opponent has an injured star, in the first round, I'm sure the Suns will not be able to win against the Lakers if Davis was healthy.

So you say; Raptors championship is a fraud too? Stop this discrediting. I thought you guys are NBA viewers for long.

If the Nets are healthy, the Bucks will adjust. If the Lakers are healthy, the Suns will adjust.

There's no 100% assurance that these eliminated teams if healthy will beat instead the Bucks and Suns. You are just creating speculations based on the big names on the teams since it's Lebron, AD, Durant, Irving, Harden. These are just normal players too they are beatable.

Edit:  unbeatable to beatable lol typo
1797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: July 23, 2021, 04:44:02 AM
About the odds, I think we saw the same with Thurman and that will change until the day comes of the fight.

I don't think it will be the same. Spence Jr and Thurman aren't on the same caliber and level. The former is much more dominant and can create more hype.

While the fight is approaching, Spence Jr will still be the favorite in the match.

For Manny Pacquiao bettors, I don't know what are you waiting for aside from money, bet now or else, you all have no choice but to hug the possible @2.0 odds.
1798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season Champion: Milwaukee Bucks on: July 23, 2021, 03:26:09 AM
Just awkward and funny to think though, Booker + Middleton + Holiday all Olympic bound and could possibility in the same plane going to Japan.  Grin. Last game they tried to kill each other and now they are team mates and possible to bring home another Olympic basketball gold for the US team.  Grin.

I don't see it as awkward since they already know each other for long. They are in the league for a long now and already made several matches between them so I don't understand what's the awkward part.

And you have to remember that they bond with each other every All-Star game either as a participant or as an audience.

And he already achieves his dream of winning the championship, hopefully, he will continue dreaming of getting a back-to-back championship as other greats have done.

Another player that starts from scratch has no talent just height, doesn't have a muscular built, always losing in the playoffs, carries his team, and now evolves into a real shit dominating everyone with his strong built. A player the really worked on his skills.

I remember someone saying here when Bucks is losing in the season, Giannis should work on his 3 points, you are LOL.
1799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 23, 2021, 02:52:05 AM
We have 1.40 for ML bet, it's worth a shot.

I'd rather pick an adjusted odds on handicap if your mindset thinks that SMB will bounce back. It's much worth it and the same risks on their ML odds.

For now, I will stay away at any Moneyline bet for top teams as they are not showing their full best yet, or maybe below tiers are more serious for now. These top teams will eventually wake up in the mid of standing if they see there's something wrong and to have a good positioning on the post-elimination.
1800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your betting budget on: July 23, 2021, 02:30:43 AM
As a financial advisor I love seeing stuff like this. It is imperative that everyone sets up a spending budget. It’s a great way of making sure that you are spending money how you should be, making sure you aren’t spending too much etc.

It's good but can't actually follow in terms of gambling. As a financial advisor, you won't see anything related to gambling in terms of budget.

There's always an attempt after a budget has now been depleted. If they win, why should they stop, if they lose, they should cover it.

That's the reason why budgeting money in betting will not work in the long-run. The temptation is hard to resist.
