But if you really don't want to get scammed then don't invest into ICO's at all.

It's wise if you'll invest it to Ethereum but if you don't like it there's another choice.
You can go with Litecoin and that will be good for holding until the end of the year.

I got bitcoin, few ETH and PAC.
I hate on what happened with PAC as I've thought it will make me rich when it hits $1.
I bought 500,000 PAC for 0.005BTC and thanks to what the devs did of doing a "redemption" and it was lessen now to 500 PAC.
1000 PAC = 1 PAC that's the result of the redemption and my 0.005BTC became 0.0001BTC that's a big loss. I just shared my false hope for having big gain.

If I were on his shoes, it's a good opportunity to work for google and while he's there he can still develop ethereum right?
Whatever bothers him it's a win-win situation for him, whether he leave ethereum or not, he's rich enough and can stand on his own.
