1781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where is the direction of the cryptocurrency in the future? on: December 14, 2018, 06:46:13 PM
The future is Cryptocurrenices, i think we need to try as much as possible to shift out attention from the price action this year because most of us made money last year and we need to count ourselves lucky to be in the system before the next bull run as we can see the tradition economy also is struggling but because of the unfair press coverage they always paint crypto in bad shape
1782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lessons from crypto in 2018 on: December 14, 2018, 02:23:59 PM
Lessons from Crypto 2018

1. KNow when to cut your loss
2. Never follow the herd
3. Take profit  early
4. Never caught the diving knife (Buy when the price is flat and not when dumping )
1783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After 2018 slump, Will bounties Die now ? on: December 13, 2018, 08:49:31 AM
Bounty has come to stay, I know bounty program will likely be redefined, the issue with drop in  bounty earnings is has a result of many factors,  drop in ICO investment as a results of drop in ICO ROI another thing is laziness on the part of the campaign manager that allowed scammers and cheaters have their full day and game the system.

Bounty is very effective way to attract interest into your ICO and is also cheap as compared to using media advertisement. Just go and ask some of these developers how much they pay to have their projects listed on ICO rating websites
1784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2019 is it the new beginning will come to crypto currencies? on: December 13, 2018, 08:42:49 AM
I am sure come 2019 we are entering a new cycle for Cryptocurrencies, for me we have not seen any bull run, the major bull run is one the way and anyone not holding Crypto or buying the dip now will himself to blame. I am very sure we will looked back and say you know when BTC dropped from $20k to $3k and people were not buying. We just need to exercise patience
1785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Oath Protocol and MOAC Partnership on: December 13, 2018, 08:29:32 AM
Has anyone heard of Oath protocol? What does their team look like?

Hey hey,

Yes, we heard of them Smiley
Our Team is head quartered in both the US and China. If you're interested to track us, follow us on Medium. We frequently publish Team Update Posts (like this one: https://medium.com/oathprotocol/oath-team-update-nov-12-2018-9e54462bf811) and announce upcoming Partnerships. You can also find insightful reading materials there and get back to us for further questions any time Smiley

You keep referring to this medium post, is there no website for the projects, telegram group to ask the team questions about their project and even I have not come about ANN page on BCT. I think you guys no that the era of using partnership to create hype around a project is long gone, you need to show your team have the capacity to deliver on what they promise
1786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICO going to dead, FUTURE IS FOR STO? what you think about STO future? on: December 13, 2018, 08:21:39 AM
I heard about STO's for this year end many times.

Still not sure if its going to be the new trend but there's a recent news about ICOs that came from SEC.

ICOs Are ‘Effective Way’ to Raise Capital If Rules Are Followed: SEC Chairman
There's no difference between icos and STOs. Ico can be an effective way if that will be regulated consider about that was open a lot of possibility for a little shrimp to participate in the ico.

I should agree with that article.

I don't think you mean what you said that there is no difference between STO and ICO, for the reason that these developers will open up their inner working is a major difference, we don't know the burn rate of most of these ICOs projects and have no obligation to open this up and this won't be an issue with STO. For me, we need to stop deceiving ourselves with the high rate of abuse in the space STO is overdue
1787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: KFC Venezuela Accepts Dash Cryptocurrency, Joining Subway and Papa John’s on: December 13, 2018, 08:18:00 AM
This news is not true, it has been refuted by KFC Director, though accepting Dash was put into consideration but they have not decided to start accepting it, even Dash team has apologize for this misinformation. Even the Forbes news that broke the news has changed the title, Dash team need to do well in passing information across which is not what this multinational companies want
1788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My $36,000 Invesment Turned Out Now $12,000 - Still Holding on: December 12, 2018, 07:23:39 PM
I want to ask if the OP is still holding these tokens, if he stills holds them then by now his $36k will be less than $1000. A friend told me that his $5k investment early this year is now around $200. It has been a year of pain for most investors and we must all learn from these because another bull run will come. Never invest at the top of a market (Say no to FOMO) because there will always be an opportunity to buy back cheap
1789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Classic Dev Team (ETCDEV) Shuts Down on: December 12, 2018, 07:17:03 PM
I personally don't think there is any justification for them to still exist as a body, what have they done since the DEV was constituted, I think for now we need to start asking ourselves some sincere questions, with the look of things ETC will end up the way of most forks that fine it very hard to sustain the competition
1790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it true that 99% of ICOs are either failed or scam? on: December 12, 2018, 07:14:01 PM
I think the figure is too high and extreme, we have good projects in the space and good people behind them, because the market crashed and bring the whole space down doesn't means everything ICO is a scam. I will say 90% because it is a natural distribution, some project will die not because they are scam but because of lack of fund, and this seems to be affecting alot of projects now with back treasury management
1791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH: Deep crash before going to the moon? on: December 12, 2018, 07:07:15 PM
There is not going to be a recovery to January, 2018 prices. Those prices were deeply irrational and the result of a speculative mania. This whole market is meme-driven and has no fundamentals.

I think I agree with your point here, when I saw phrase before going to the moon, I believe what the OP is saying is that we will have the price of Ether above $1500. For me anything is possible but for Ether price to reach that price range again after the recent crash, the platform will need to have a working Dapps that is the darling of the space  and have active users in millions
1792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Shall I buy BTC? on: December 12, 2018, 07:03:59 PM
With the look of things Bitcoin is in the buy zone but do not be stupid, do not put the buy order ones,  do a DCA, I have a feeling the price might still deep further especially January period  and you might have opportunity to buy cheaper Bitcoin, a weekly buy order is better depending on how much you have to invest into BTC
1793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH to 80$ on: December 12, 2018, 07:00:57 PM
I think we have reached a stage where people need to keep an open mind on things,  if BTC hit $1500 has some people are projecting that we will likely see market capitulation and this will drive the price really down, I don't see how Ethereum will survive it and not hit $30 because it has been shown over and over again that All the Altcoins in the space can't live independently of Bitcoin
1794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: EOS Surges 16% Over the Weekend, Eyeing Extended Gains on: December 11, 2018, 07:53:19 AM
If you are talking about 16% pump what about those people that have lost more than 90% of their money investing into EOS, personally I have no incentive to hold this coin because the main developer seems to be on the run again, soon EOS will be the next Steemit because he seems to have found a new baby
1795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What low market cap alts are you investing in? on: December 09, 2018, 07:41:14 PM
I don't know why people still want to be involve in higher risk, if you can't find good projects  to invest into in the top 100 projects in the space then something is wrong, for me it does not make sense to invest into low coins now because the risk of them going to zero is very high
1796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC = $1600-$2800 & ETH $30-$70 on: December 09, 2018, 07:35:05 PM
Ethereum will never be used by real companies, it has a bad reputation now and it doesn't scale well. When Cardano is released they will choose ADA to build DAPPS on, or perhaps Tezos, which is first to produce something reliable
Now, many sites theoretically exceed their capabilities Ethereum. And after their final revision, Ethereum will be even more difficult. Therefore, one should not forget about investing in such projects.

Why do people forget that Ethereum is still to beat in the smart contract market, the way chest Ethereum has no other competitiors has it, another thing to consider is the number of developers on the platform is huge and no project compare to it for now and this stakeholders won't want their platform to collapse
1797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So much money being made by crypto traders! Can you see that? on: December 08, 2018, 01:38:12 PM
I have read this story of traders making profit int he space, but one thing I am very sure off this year even those people that are the bear traders are losing money, if BTC goes below $1k, there is no money to make, just go and ask exchanges how much they have lost in revenue and ask miners how scared they are of the who situation, ask developers how disturb they are if things continue this way. Everyone has lost money, not a single person that has been involved in the space for more than a year that is not affected.
1798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: "What will ACTIVATE the next BULL RUN?" - CZ Binance on: December 08, 2018, 01:33:31 PM
I don't think there will be one single event that will trigger the next bull run, for me what we need most is a working dapps that will change the misconception about crypto, if we could get a dapps like pokerman and for me with the way thin s are now we are likely to see this bear market go longer than we are prepared for though we will see some pumps on the way but people need to be prepared
1799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason why crypto currency prices continues to dip on: December 08, 2018, 01:29:17 PM
I agree with your point because I have been saying that this bear market need to bottom out before festive period when people will need money to look after themselves and their family. One thing people are not really talking about is the increase in the size of volume going on on OTC, the OTC trade has taken away volume from most exchanges which even exacerbate the crash situation
1800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy now or wait? on: December 08, 2018, 01:25:19 PM
Hi, i am wondering if i should buy a little bit of top 20 coins at current prices, 8th dec 2018, or wait until the market gets lower. What do you guys do?

I have bought the current dip, or at least... when market cap was still around 120 billion usd. Following my policy to buy after huge drops only, i planned to buy the next dip if market cap is around 60 billion usd. But should i not buy the current dip twice? Because what if the bakkt launching next month is succesful? What if it gets followed up by the ETF getting approval in the february sec-decision? What if it all comes paired with new developments that occur? Is this a realistic scenario for short-term?

What would you do, if you were following my plan/policy? I don't buy with large amounts so i can take some losses, what do you think is best?

I think it is better to start buying now because the risk of buying now is very low as compared to the huge reward of buying, how low do you think BTC could go maybe $1000 and how high do you think BTC could go $20k, no one know the top and no one know likewise the bottom, for what to do is to scale in and scale out of your positions
