Basically, I worry when people implement CGI from scratch...

I agree.  That is a potential cause for concern.  However, I trust nonnakip and I am not concerned.
17842  Economy / Securities / Re: NASTY MINING on: December 10, 2012, 11:49:50 PM
Will we receive one big dividend for that?

No, but we got another BFL FPGA.

Also, an SC upgrade for it.

I don't think those are mined coins. I think that is just an actual donation to the website creator - nonnakip

nonnakip takes no donations. Those are for the club.
17843  Economy / Securities / Re: NASTY MINING on: December 10, 2012, 10:40:56 PM
Nothing makes developing an application buggier and slower than re-inventing everything from the ground-up.

Does the site seem slow and buggy to you?

Something I just thought of:

Would it be possible to show the number of seats accepting donations?  Even if it is approx it would be nice to be able to see what my donation would be if it were paid out at that moment.

I also think this would be a cool statistic. Rome wasn't built in a day though. Smiley

Nasty has created a "Fan Club" of Nasty Mining. There's no "securities" here. Only "seats" in the fan club.

I want to stress the fact that nonnakip created the fan club. All I did was hand over the GLBSE list.

By the way, I am still waiting for my email.

About half of the fans are still awaiting emails. Wait another 24 hours before starting to worry.

I also don't particularly like how the Nasty Fan Club is progressing, but its better than nothing.

Give it time. Everything will be sorted out once fans start voting on changes and those not wanting to be a part of the fan club trade in their seats.

A 63 character password limit is more than long enough to satisfy me. It is a non-issue.

Next.

I would like to thank nonnakip for all his hard work (really, in C???).

+1

You cannot set a price for buying seats.  This is true.  What is available for sale is available for sale.

Maybe a simple message board could be included where buyers could express interest.

Welcome to your message board.   Grin

can OgNasty please give a detailed description of what exactly is going on?

GLBSE seems to have been operating under less than official terms.  Nefario shut it down claiming it needed to happen.  Any contract we were thought to have had is apparently not enforceable without the collection of personal information (see the gigamining disaster).  However, nonnakip has a pretty cool website.  Fans could still have a way to vote on what they think I should do with NASTY MINING.  For that reason, I handed the GLBSE list over to nonnakip, who I trust.  The site never wants to hold your BTC, so don't see it as a risk.

I hold a sizable amount of shares, and have been happy to do so mostly because Ognasty has always been quick to respond and handles things in a calm and collected manner, and seems to have his shareholders best interest at heart.

Thank you for your confidence.  Please give me the opportunity to maintain it with my actions.

I have no idea of what is fanwebsite is all about, or why it even exist, and I cannot find any clear info explaining this. On the one hand it it the "unofficial fanpage" on the othe hand it seems the way to claim my shares? which will be turned into seats or something? Which i can loose over time? what the hell is this all about, and why does it seem awfully rushed and chaotic?

It exists because there is a need.  If you want no part of it, I recommend selling your seats.

Am I correct in understanding that it's not possible to set a price for buying seats? I have to buy whatever is currently for sale or don't buy at all?

What if I want to buy 100 seats at 0.5, but no-one is selling? Nobody would know that I want to buy seats and they cannot make a decision based on all the available information (whether to sell or not).

You cannot set a price for buying seats.  This is true.  What is available for sale is available for sale.  I am trying to help the situation by advising seat owners who don't like what is being done to sell their seats.

Mine did not pre fill anything when I did it. Sounds like your browser may have done it.
17850  Economy / Securities / Re: NASTY MINING on: December 09, 2012, 08:49:09 PM
If someone guesses your password then it is your problem. Choose a good password.

What is the password character limit?
17851  Economy / Computer hardware / [Sold] Icarus FPGA Miner for sale. on: December 09, 2012, 04:50:45 PM
I have an Icarus Miner that I can't get to play nicely in my mining setup which is mostly BFL Singles.  It runs stable for days on end when I can get it to run, but it's usually a crap shoot as to whether it will start or not.  I'll be the first to acknowledge that it is most likely user error, but wanted to make that known.  I'm sure someone who knows what they are doing would have no issues with it...  Otherwise, it would still be a great way to get a discount on an Avalon ASIC miner using their $300 value trade in program.

Trade-Ins. Avalon believes in continuing the trust that have build up with our old customers. Reinstating our policy of $300 per Icarus, $400 per Lancelot, limited one FPGA trade-in per ASIC unit. The trade-in program will continue to be available and will apply to 1st-gen Avalons when the time comes.

All offers considered.  Shipping from US, would like to keep shipping to within US.

I can say that I have already sold some of my NASTY seats and have the BTC safely in my wallet

Nice & smooth without any hassle !

+10000

Think I may have picked up some seats from you, the whole transaction was very nice on the buying side as well - had the total amount I needed to pay (including the fee) along with the address to send payment to.  It even updated my holdings after a few confirmations had gone through, so great all around!

Great to hear the positive feedback.  What I like most about the website, is that you don't have to trust it with any of your hard earned bitcoins.
17853  Economy / Securities / Re: NASTY MINING on: December 09, 2012, 01:01:27 AM
UPDATE:
The recently ordered BFL Single has arrived.  Milestone! NASTY MINING is now hashing at over 7GH/s, surpassing 1 MH/s in hashing power per outstanding seat for the first time!
17854  Economy / Securities / Re: NASTY MINING on: December 09, 2012, 12:40:41 AM
That is some heavy dilution. Who holds those additional 17.000 smtg seats?

I am in control of those seats.  They will not be receiving any donations until ASICs are up and running, so you shouldn't notice any dilution different from what was happening on GLBSE.
17855  Economy / Securities / Re: NASTY MINING on: December 08, 2012, 11:02:26 PM
I just received an email from nonnakip redirecting me to a website where I need to fill out my bitcoin address that I gave when GLBSE went down and the approximate number of shares I held when GLBSE went down.

Want to check again with OgNasty that he endorses this site https://83.169.18.186/glbse and that the data I provide in there will be safe.

I confirm that is nonnakip's site and I have trusted him with your data already.
17856  Economy / Securities / Re: NASTY MINING on: December 08, 2012, 08:28:56 PM
Who is nonnakip?

Someone with my complete and total trust.

Why did you give the list of NASTY shareholders to nonnakip, is nonnakip linked to NASTY in any way?

I gave nonnakip the list from GLBSE because I saw a cool website that I think NASTY MINING enthusiasts will enjoy using.  No, nonnakip is not linked to NASTY MINING in any way.

Where will nonnakip make the announcement? In this thread?

Yes.
17857  Economy / Securities / Re: NASTY MINING on: December 08, 2012, 07:05:38 PM
UPDATE:
I've provided forum user nonnakip with the list I received from GLBSE.  I have seen a cool website that I think NASTY MINING enthusiasts will enjoy using.  I'm sure plenty of discussion will follow nonnakip's coming announcement.
17858  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGMINER GPU FPGA overc monit fanspd RPC stratum linux/windows/osx/mip/r-pi 2.9.6 on: December 08, 2012, 06:02:59 PM
This code doesn't seem to be working for me in the config file.  It sticks to mining on pool 0 even though there are 5 connected.  I'm running the program directly from the cgminer-fpgaonly.exe file.

Code:
"balance" : true,

Any ideas why?
17859  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] Raspberry Pi 512MB - 4 BTC on: December 08, 2012, 05:33:07 PM
Brand new in unopened box.  4 BTC shipped.  US only.
17860  Economy / Securities / Re: NASTY MINING on: December 08, 2012, 04:08:55 PM
I received a double payment of 0.1098873 BTC on Oct 18, 2012.

Contact Nefario again and return it immediately.

I don't deal with Nefario. Nefario has a scammer tag and hasn't been active since Oct 18, 2012.  I don't deal with scammers.  My business is with Nasty and glbse.com

If you aren't on the list, you have no business with NASTY MINING.  As stated before, others who weren't on the list were able to contact Nefario and get added to the list within hours.  If you are choosing not to do this, you have only yourself to blame.
