It would be nice if there were other options that included not just PPS but DGM as well. Pools that do offer it:

Has pirate announced if the closure of BS&T will affect GPUmax?
Yes. In the irc chat he mentioned this would allow him to concentrate on GPUmax and should result in significant improvements in the near future. I believe he also said he would invite another round of members sometime in September.

Because some people think the investors might sell (If they get btc back) because possibly the only reason they bought the bitcoins was to make huge amounts of interest from his scheme.
Ok...I appreciate the reply...I just don't understand the basis for that. Why would they need to immediately cash out to USD? A lot of people are sitting on 0% interest BTC investments. Even if you're not getting interest from Pirate, it's still going up against the dollar - even in the face of this drop we're still way up. I just don't know why it would be a given that people would want to immediately dump after getting their funds back. Profit?

A dividend of BTC6.9 has been paid.
Note: An explanation of why this week's dividend dropped while our hashing power increased... When the new singles arrived, I took our rig offline while I restructured everything to make room for future singles. Once it was all set back up, I auto-tuned the new singles, which kept the rig offline a little longer. Then, when it was operational, I noticed we were getting unusually high reject rates (as high as 10% for nearly 2 days) that appeared to be due to some issues with one of our pools. I resolved the issue and we are now back to reject rates around 0.4%. I'm also hoping the mail brings us 2 more BFL Singles today, so next week's dividend should be significantly higher, as our issues are now resolved and the setup already has space/power for the new units.

Who's buying with me?

This thread should list all the stages and people can change their votes as they feel the investor emotion change. Then it would be a decent indicator.

Due to the news of BTCST closing, I have requested all funds from the account and will be returning them to depositors as soon as received. I will be looking into options to keep the program running in one form or another, but most likely I will close this program down to focus on NastyMining. Thank you to all my depositors. UPDATE: Bitcoin Savings & Trust is officially in default and the reserve fund has been paid out to depositors.

My 6/13 order arrived today.

2 of the singles arrived today. We're now operating at 4.1GH/s.

|
|
I just received word that 2 more of our singles have shipped. We should be over 5.5GH/s within a week.
|
|
|
I received my 5/22 order.
You can also add these 2 orders for me.
2 Singles on 6/13 2 Singles on 6/19
Looks like my above post was missed. The 6/13 order shipped yesterday.

I thought it would be fun if I posted the thread and then broke $12.50 myself but someone beat me to it!
Updated the question for the next wall...

What do you think? Looks like the wall is crumbling down.
*Poll reset on December 3rd.

Thanks Any news or things things pretty much the same? I've just received word from Butterfly Labs that 2 more of our BitForce Singles have shipped. I'll have them hashing away before the weekend.

Any local pawn shop will be your cheapest option. There is no tax on silver and they only accept cash.

A dividend of BTC8.5 has been paid.

I've actually thrown 0.01 trades out on the exchange in the opposite direction of the larger order I've placed, just to bait people into taking my order by taking advantage of this exact "indicator" in the past. Manipulation runs deep sometimes. There are no perfect indicators. Trade safely friends.

When you update stats, would you be willing to including as much as the following info as possible?
1) non-asic mining to hold over for the next few months (estimated increase in hashrate?) 2) are there any plans (trade-in or otherwise) that will cause hash rate to dip in such a way that dividends will decrease compared to any week? 3) How many ASICs in order 4) how many / which hardware are currently being used to mine 5) current outstanding shares (not the treasury ones, just any that pay out dividends)
(if this list seems reasonable, will updates mostly be in the edited OP or what?)
Would appreciate it much, and thanks in advance.
I think most of this information is readily available in the original post or the ticker page on the GLBSE. Definitely available on this thread. We've got 7 BFL Singles ordered and 8 ASIC SC singles. Currently we are mining with 3 BFL Singles and awaiting shipment of the remaining 4. The trade in plan will have an effect on dividends for a short period, but BFL has promised a quick turn around time and I plan to ship overnight when the time comes, so hopefully it doesn't even cost us a full week of dividends. Does that mean that each share is 2464 MHs / ~6674 = ~0.369193887 MH/s?
I am not sure of the best way to calculate that, I grabbed 6674 from the last dividend payment.
Looking at the last dividend payment is probably the best way to see the current number of shares on the market. Eventually this will be automated on a site, but not anytime soon.

Buying NASTY shares on the GLBSE is a great way to get exposure to first day BFL SC orders since NASTY does hold the very first 6 SC orders from BFL... https://glbse.com/asset/view/NASTY

Also do we have a status page yet? Would be nice to know what MH we are operating at, can you update on this.
No status page yet. I do keep this information manually updated on the original post though. Hopefully we get another shipment of Singles from Butterfly Labs soon as well.
