Don’t buy ICOs.

I believe with the rank you are at you have unmatched experience in the crypto world.

However that being said, i have heard the stories of people that hit it real big in cryptos. Maybe there are some good and bad ICOs? time will tell.

Thank you sir for taking your time to reply

The advice is sound as there are more bad ICOs than good ones and inexperienced beginners won't even know what to look for in order to determine whether an investment in an ICO is a good or a bad idea. Therefore not investing is the safe and wise thing to do at least not until you have seen a bit more. If you can't resist, just invest a tiny (the minimal) amount if you can afford to lose it. As long as you remember that you always could've made more but profit is profit, you will be fine.

when will be added 10,000 pairs ??

The pairs will be added successively and not all at once. The possibility of 10,000 trading pairs are one of the goals and the project is still in alpha stage, mind you Smiley
183  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Blockchain is getting popular day by day. on: May 25, 2018, 09:37:36 PM
We are still in the early stages and cryptocurrency is used by innovators and early adopters, there is still so much potential and the majority of people haven't even considered using crypto as means of payment. Many may have heard of it but they haven't used it. Blockchain itself is used/adapted even less

184  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How ICOs proceed with their marketing campaigns? on: May 25, 2018, 09:00:53 PM
do they hire freelance growth hackers or a marketing member of staff does the job
to what extent marketing advisors are involved in the marketing campaign?
Do ICOs book the services of marketing agencies especially growth hacking ones? Huh

Sorry, but I don't get what you mean Huh
You are aware that "ICO" is a general term for the funding of crypto projects through the emission of tokens/coins? As each project is different and is managed by different people, the methods aren't always the same. So the answer would be: maybe.
185  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 2 GPUs out of 5 not detected on: May 25, 2018, 08:51:58 PM

Yeah one of the first thing I tried is plugging only those not-detected GPUs one at a time but both are not getting recognized by Windows 10 Pro (64 bits). I've tried to put those GPUs into my other rig but my other rig doesn't detect them also. I am running Windows 10 Pro (64 bits), the OS only detects 3 GPUs out of 5.

When I was placing those GPUs on the motherboard the power supply was always turned off to avoid a shock. Something that makes me ask myself some questions is that those 2 GPUs when I am booting, their fans are running OK and all lights are on the GPUs and the LED light on the PCI-e risers are on also....

Thanks

If you tried them one at a time and windows 10 didn't recognize them does that mean that your bios recognized that card resp. you saw the boot screen when a monitor was plugged in? If you can't see the post messages or enter the bios, don't even bother with the cards, they are most likely gone and you only can replace them.
186  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Soft and hard fork ?? on: May 24, 2018, 09:50:33 PM
Hey,
As a newby i want to know more about bitcoin and blockchain technology. Can you guys help me understand Soft and Hard fork of cryptocurrency.
Thank you

There are actually many sources where you can easily find an answer to your question  Cheesy
Aside from the obvious - Google - just search this forum (top right. Just enter "softfork hardfork"). You'll easily see that there are many threads regarding this topic, e.g.

[...]

Splits happen in the following situations:

 - In a contentious hardfork.
 - In a user-activated softfork (UASF) which lacks both majority mining power at the time of activation and near-unanimous support from the economy. If it has one or the other, then a split does not result.
 - In a BIP9-style miner-triggered softfork where a very large number of miners are lying about their enforcement of the softfork. (Unlikely.)

[...]

Or even direct links like these:

As you see, the forum search is your friend  Wink

188  Other / Meta / Re: Unban My Account on: May 23, 2018, 07:47:53 PM
Who can unban my account "captchacoins"

There surely is a reason why your account got banned. Maybe you address this instead of simply stating that you should be unbanned. I don't know what happened in your case but usually, mods have a good reason if they ban someone (please note that not only an account gets banned but the user). But as everywhere else, sometimes mistakes happen, so maybe it really was an accident in your case. Just stating that you should be unbanned won't help I'm afraid.
189  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Insider Threat Detection Tools on: May 23, 2018, 04:51:08 PM

I guess that without any info or explanation, nobody will click on your link (at least I hope not). There are too many scams around these days.
Why don't you make a more informative thread and explain what you're aiming at/your goal is? Describe your product Wink
190  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Dissertation/thesis ideas for cryptocurrency on: May 23, 2018, 04:45:33 PM
Forensic computing and security is such a vast field. Do you have any specific idea what topic in regards to bitcoin/altcoins/crypto interests you most? As I understand it, most crimes related to crypto (or rather cryptocurrency) is per definition a viable topic. E.g. there were several major hacks in the last years that could be analyzed.

192  Local / Anfänger und Hilfe / Re: Anfängerfragen on: May 22, 2018, 09:56:41 PM
Hallo, ich hab zwei dumme Anfängerfragen:

193  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to obtain coin information expect here ? on: May 22, 2018, 06:38:40 PM
Hi
I am a newcomer and want to participate in ico. Where can I get valuable coin information? Is there something like a leaderboard?

A good site also would be http://www.coinmarketdir.com/ as it aggregates a lot of info and as everyone always uses coinmarket cap I'd also suggest https://www.worldcoinindex.com/ where you can also create an account and create a custom coin/token view.

196  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ANYTHING IMPORTANT I SHOULD KNOW? on: May 21, 2018, 10:28:53 PM
There is so much to learn in this Crypto space and everything is moving too quick.

If there is something that a new person in this space should know and is important feel free to comment. I am sure a lot of us Newbies will appreciate everyones time on this

This is a tough question because there are so many topics to cover. I'd suggest that you start right here, in this forum and try to learn about the things that interest you (the most).
Maybe you give us an idea of what you want to accomplish so that the answers you'll get here, already point you in the general direction  Smiley
197  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did I do something wrong? on: May 20, 2018, 05:15:36 PM
Thank you for the response's. I don't know how to make it a clearer copy. I searched for an hour for a way to post it in the first place and finally found IMGUR.com, alas the screen print didn't come out well. I will continue to learn and find a better way to create a link.

imgur was a good choice and it has nothing to do with a bad/too small screenshot. Simply hit "print" on your keyboard, open paint and insert the screenshot, upload it to imgur and post the link. If you have Windows 7 or higher, use the "Snipping Tool", with a MAC hit shift+⌘+3 to make a screenshot.
198  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: why don't Neabie participate in signture campaign on: May 20, 2018, 04:21:29 PM
Why are Newbies not allowed to join bounties/bitcoin forum campaign?

As mentioned above, people would simply create dozens of accounts (like before ht merit/activity requirements took effect). Plus the chance is slightly higher hat people with a higher account also are more concerned with what they post. While this also might be a bit wishful thinking, the chance of a sloppy typo such as the one in your thread topic "why don't Neabie participate in signture campaign" is less likely with higher ranking accounts. And since signature campaigns are ads, the quality matters  Cheesy
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ERC-20 tokens ? on: May 20, 2018, 03:48:02 PM

Although some people maybe get a bit offended, use lmgtfy next time Grin http://lmgtfy.com/?q=erc+20+token

Hello guys, I am new to this forum. I want to know what is ERC-20 token and what relation it has with Ethereum.
Thank you

But coinsontheroad is right, instead of creating a new thread for that, use a search engine or search this forum (top right) before you post and if you have further questions, be specific with your question and describe what you don't understand and why. It's only fair and polite since you expect people to answer you and spend their time with - in this case - basic knowledge.
