There is no reason to stop ico's , some good projects have come from them. The question is how to stop stupid people giving money to scammers.
The problem will fix itself eventually i think.

first of all, when I got to know Bitcoin I thought Bitcoin was a currency, but over time the price went up, so I and certainly many of the seniors here argue the same as me that Bitcoin is a commodity, just like gold and silver in the real world... You are right , and the fact that there is a fixed amount of bitcoin and there can't be made any more . This forces inflation as the price goes up. |

I don't think so. We still have Saturday and it will be taken on Monday. I hope so. Because the airdrop wallet already has balance and I still didn't transfer back all my BTX. No it is taken on monday , make sure to have your coins in your wallet by sunday or earlier , because some exchanges are suspiciously slow around monday. |

I don't know why people say bitcoin is gambling. Its not gambling. You are investing your money and time. You use your internet. So its not gambling dealing with it.
Bitcoin is not gambling. But if you invest your money in it, it is gambling. Because we are now talking about money, we invest money in bitcoin. We gamble our money if it will be a profit or a loss in the future. It is speculating , bitcoin isn't a investment or a currency. At this point everybody who puts money in it is speculating. |

Yeah ofcourse the government can ban everything so why not btc, some country's have censored most of the internet. The hard part is that it is very hard to enforce it , people who want to use btc will use it.

I'm hoping for it at least , when new people see how bad bitcoin is working and that there are much faster alternatives i think many will jump ship. But for new people the altcoin market can be a bit overwhelming.. There are so many different coins that all have different uses or do the exact same thing. If you aren't tech savy it is gonna be hard to see which coins will be good for the future.

If you have to choose between these 2 coins at this point i would always pick ethereum over bitcoin. I think ethereum has way more room to grow and has the better tech.
But i would look elsewhere if you want some good profits and are prepared to take a risk.

Depends on how you see bitcoin , if you see it as a currency it is a bad thing , because people would be scared to buy something if the value can increase that fast. Nobody wants to be the next pizza guy.
The other side is that volatility brings in a lot of new investors , so if you see it as something to take a risk on to make some money it can be good.

Ofcourse you should , this is where the new tech comes from. Bitcoin did great till this point , but it has its limits.
Ofcourse there are some shitcoins but some coins have some real interesting ideas/approaches to problems btc has.

This will be great news if they do end up accepting bitcoin in their stores. Adoption would skyrocket very quickly and many new people would be introduced to it.
If that happen many user of bitcoin will be glad because when we use bitcoin in McDonald it easy for us to make transaction. Also it will be great news because its means some fastfood store is accepting bitcoin, so i think this is the first step to become known of many fastfood store or maybe in resturant. Bitcoin for payment processor wouldn't realized and fit in the near future, there's a lot of things to do before bitcoin can really used widely in public. A year or even more than that required to make things set up very well and really give people the benefit . I wish bitcoin transaction system can be developed into better one soon. This is the biggest problem now , people are all happy here , but there is no way to use it as a currency in this state. But we will see what changes will happen next year. |

I don't think it is better then real estate , real estate will always be needed and always is a good investment.
It is better then stocks because it gives much better returns , i don't know how long that will go on for.

this one should be already on the same boat as the bitcoin gold, i see really no reason for one to have a lower value than the other, probably the suffix bitcoin is what make bitcoin gold be woirth more

Coinmarketcap actively working against bitcore isn't helping either , a exchange like binance/bittrex is what we need. At least we got the airdrop today |

I can definitely see a big crash coming soon , we have seen from 1000 dollar to 150 already , a crash like this will happen i think.
I just wouldn't listen to advice banks have on cryptocurrency's in general.

When you look at the dollar price it has gone up some , price in satoshi is a bit lower then 2 months ago.
I still think there is more reason the invest in eth then in btc at this moment.

Yes ofcourse the price matters , it shows the trust people have in btc at the moment.
And i think people are scared to spend their btc at this time , because what you spend now can be worth a good amount more in the future.
