181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tactics When Market is Falling on: May 14, 2018, 06:11:28 AM
The most relevant strategy on the falling market is to close trading terminal and develop in another fields as for me. Or if you got enough money - just buy more if it goes dipper than you expected.
So bying the dip, then, as I mentioned, close terminal again even if it rises, hold, and you will be rewarded in some time. This advice will help you if you are not good at day trading(I guess you are, just because otherwise you will not create such topic). Also you can lear about this kind of trading while the terminal is closed Wink
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can we identify scammers on: May 14, 2018, 06:00:55 AM
One good signal that the project is not a scam - all amount collected on ICO is distributed through escrow. This is not the only signal, but it always works - there is no need to scam just because they will not get money, all of them will be rewarded.
And pay attention to such things as team, their experience, their ability to speak in public, look through github. And of course read whitepaper. If wp consist of only promises without any numbers - this may be not the best investment.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had $50, what would you invest in? on: May 10, 2018, 07:17:48 PM
$50 is not such a big amount, so it is able to spend it on some high risk coins which can give you everything or nothing. I had such a great experience Grin
Last spring I bought verge just for fun, I got only $15 left after I bought coins I needed, and I just choose xvg by logo Grin And this $15 become more than $1000 in December, just imagine.
So buy some low price coins with low cap. And of course prepare that your investment will become not investment at all but donation Wink
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now a good time to invest in ICO? on: May 10, 2018, 07:13:28 PM
In my opinion there is no such determination as "good time for investing in ICO" or "bad ones". Because I see here just "good ICOs" and "bad ICOs".
If ICO is good, if it has great team with experience, perfect idea or even MVP or product - it will rocket no mater what, this investment will give you profit anyway.
When bad ICO will give you profit just if whales will need to rise the price and you will be lucky to sell high
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You have 1m dollars.. on: May 09, 2018, 06:18:41 PM
I think bank account is the last place where I will pull this amount Grin
As for me the best asset is Bitcoin. And I would like to freeze this amount for 5 years or near. Just invest, no diversification, no spending - just because I live without this money right now.
And Bitcoin seems to be not the father of cryptocurrency, but the only crypto that can live whatever happens in the world also. Only global lack of internet can destroy Bitcoin
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters should be paid in ETH on: May 09, 2018, 06:12:53 PM
I don't understand why you guys want to be paid in ethereum.
Why are you participating in bounty campaigns? Is it you job or what?
As for me I am participating in project that I like to support and I understand pros and cons of the project, so I want to be a part of project, and receive a token.
Besides, when you receive tokens you can hold them till it rocket. Also why can't you just sell immediately if you are in crypto not for crypto but for money?? Undecided Gain your ether or whatever you want
Crypto gives you freedom, but you decide to barter it for dollar Huh
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto will be mainstream in a few years on: May 08, 2018, 07:05:11 PM
In my opinion smart money were entering bitcoin since 2014. I entered crypto in early 2017 and that was not smart money at all - the were so much people who entered just to have xxx and leave without understanding the idea of bitcoin at all.
If we take meaning mainstream as when everyone will have bitcoin as asset which they will have full control of - yes, it will be in next few years. Maybe even earlier than we can think
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam coins everywhere. on: May 08, 2018, 06:58:04 PM
This is due the to number of coins entering the market everyday, the market is now saturated with scam coins and the worst part of it all is that they just make it harder for an investor to find good coins because it now takes more work and more research to sift through this new coins in a bid to figure out which one is a legit project and which one is just a scam. It's just sad

The only responsible person for this situation is only investor in my opinion. Just take a closer look - why so many scam ICOs entered market in 2017?
As for me - just because almost all people invested in project just reading the one pager or watching promo video on youtube, not so many people even open whitepaper, I don't say the read it and especially understand it.
So we are the part of the scam. No money to scammers - no scammers, it will become not profitable. So this kind of "fast" investors making troubles not for themselves by losing money, but for us too, for spending much more time to find something real
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: eth tokens on: May 07, 2018, 07:31:42 PM
Hi

I have received quite a few erc20 tokens into my eth wallet from airdrops. I know it's probably easy, but can you good people explain to me how I use the tokens please. For example can I just exchange them directly into eth in my erc20 wallet or do I have to send them somewhere first?
Thank you in advance.

First of all you should understand what you want to do with your free tokens. If you decided to hold - there is no need to do something else just forget about them for couple of years Smiley
If you want to sell them - you need to send them to exchanges. But for making transactions you need to have some ethereum on your wallet(because you need to pay fees).
So first send eth to your wallet, then you can send your tokens to your exchange wallet to sell.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: SONM is the most undervalued coin of 2018, here's why on: May 07, 2018, 06:31:06 PM
Very interesting topic which was pleasant to read. I agree with you that SONM is good project with great team, as you mentioned with great partners also.
But can you tell me please why the price should rise and reach x20?
Can you tell me please the economic of this project? In my opinion it is bad for SONM project when the price on token is too high. This will mean that mining(I mean fog calculating, mining is not correct but simple) will become too expensive. How will calculate this perfect balance when customers will get cheap calculation of their data and also workers will get profit higher than from usual mining?
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The End Of The Bounty. on: May 07, 2018, 11:54:08 AM
As long as there are ICOs, bounty campaigns will continue. Like the observations of others, I do wish managers would filter and limits bounty participants so stakes and rewards would be substantial.

Agree with you, and would like to add that there will always be enough ICOs to participate in Wink Because author was worried about the decreasing of quantity of ICOs. I think there always will be those who decided to turn their business or their idea into the blockchain field.
Another question is would they need such type of advertisement as bounty program? Nobody knows. Maybe all of us will get skill not only in posting on this forum but in photoshop, video making and etc. and this forum will become a base of freelancers instead of crypto-enthusiasts Grin
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? on: May 06, 2018, 07:18:03 PM
Who is Satoshi Nakamoto?

Satoshi Nakamoto is just a Pseudonym or maybe its a Name of a group Developers/ Programmers who created Bitcoin. Until now its only a riddle Bitcoin Creator or Creators/Dev,s are still not seen personally Im just wondering Why it used Satoshi Nakamoto it sounds  like a Japanese Maybe this Developers/Programmers are japanese descent or Origin its Only my personal interpretation or Analogy in the Mysterious Bitcoin Creator/s
It's impossible that many members from here don't have idea who is Satoshi Nakamoto. He or she is very mysterious and don't have images or background of who he is. His name sounds Japanese of course but I've got no idea of his real identity in bitcoin and why many people talk about him inspite of his hidden identity. Satoshi is also a crypto currency named after him. And,it has a very low value. There's a possible chance that he is one of the investors of bitcoin and wants to start in smaller value.

Oh I think that it is more than possible that many members from bitcointalk have no idea about who Satoshi Nakamoto is Smiley Or maybe you know who he is Wink
Everyone knows the name of Satoshi but not many knows the person that stand behind this name. And TC just want to discuss on this theme.
As for me Satoshi is gifted person who made the new economic model by his hands and his mind, decided remaining anonymous for the whole world. Maybe we will know more in few years Wink
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AIRDROP HUNTERS! on: May 06, 2018, 01:35:16 PM
There are two types of projects which decided to make airdrop - those projects which have no ICO but airdrop and they need to distribute their token(coin) between participants, and projects which use the word "airdrop" just for additional advertisement.
First ones are almost done, there were some not a long time ago but nobody wants to work for others prosperity. Only second remaining, which distributes only to 5% of coins between all participants so this is that amount which cant affect on price if project had successful ICO.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the explosion of the crypto bubble coming soon? on: May 06, 2018, 12:06:22 PM
We all saw what happened with bitcoin in the end of the year in December and as for me this was something like the explosion of the bubble already. But I don't know if this is a bubble in the bubble and it can explode with further power and drop all prices to levels of the beginning of 2017. Crypto is not in bubble phase now in my opinion, so there is nothing to worry about. It will organically develop and spread next 5-10 years
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Panic sell? on: May 05, 2018, 02:58:24 PM
This is the worst decision to sell during the panic sell just to turn to safe mode. If this panic sell has already started, you can sell the dip, but nobody knows will there be second dip.
Only suggestion is to sell during the panic buy. But only if you feel normally when you understand that you did profit, but there was an opportunity to make it 2x higher Smiley
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins on: May 05, 2018, 02:52:41 PM
Its hard to give advice on such thread. If you are searching for stable price coins than whats the difference to hold these coins instead of bitcoin? Just extra risks if they can go low.
And another important thing - all coins declared to be baked to something is not true you should understand this. They can promote themselves as the only true baked crypto but as for me this is lies.
So my advice will be - buy Bitcoin Smiley
197  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is back ? is that good time to invest ? on: May 05, 2018, 02:38:45 PM
The answer on your question depends on your investment strategy and timeframes that you allow yourself for investment.
If you wold like to buy/sell often and make something close to day trading - maybe this is not the greatest moment to buy. But I wish you are here for not that type of advices and you will not create new topic every day Wink
If you prefer long time investment - this is the perfect moment. Buy and hold, and on the long distance - you will be rewarded
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to the unsold token? on: May 04, 2018, 11:20:02 AM
Sometimes these tokens got burned at the end of the token sale as you have mentioned. But it happens not always.
If tokens are burned, it may increase the price of every token if the product will get interest from the market. Otherwise it will be coin with miserable trading volume which will never reach coinmarcetcap.
But sometimes unsold tokens being distributed to private offerers. For example the price of token is $1 but these buyers with a lot of money can buy coins for $0.1 and it will be private so nobody sees these actions. And then it is normal to sell till $0.2 for them, they will gain huge profit even if the price is under ICO Wink
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Quit your job to promote bounty campaigns fulltime: unrealistic???? on: May 04, 2018, 11:13:36 AM
I agree, but not totally, this is not that simple. First of all there is no need to make 100 bounties per week. This will be very hard to control and maybe even find such quantity weekly.
Secondly, I think you can quit job if you will take bounty campaigns seriously. So this will be your job from now. But you can gain more only if you are able to hold everything you got as a reward from campaigns for at least one year.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can i buy IOTA and would you recommend buying it? on: May 03, 2018, 01:30:10 PM
Hello friends i want to know about IOTA  and plz tell me me what you think you ll recommend to buy or not?

This is the easiest question i found on the thread.
First you need to create a binance account, just go to https://www.binance.com/?ref=15229737
After you create an account on binance, you should add up your profile information, your phone number and also activate 2FA TOO

Then, you transfer Eth, or BTC OR USDT, to binance , after depositing; you go to Exchange link; https://www.binance.com/trade.html?symbol=IOTA_BTC

Then you set your trade volume and buy IOTA, IT GETS DEPOSITED TO YOUR ACCOUNT. THEN YOU CAN TRANSFER IT TO YOUR ERC-20 WALLET OR LET IT REMAIN TO BINANCE.

Come oooon!!! What are you talking about?? Person asked your opinion about IOTA and some information about the coin, you gave him nothing but referral link and mislead him telling he can send his IOTA to ERC-20 wallet! Are you serious?

Speaking on thread theme I would recommend to buy now, IOTA is really easy to use, it is really free(it was kinda magic for me after Bitcoin Grin) and I think this coin will spread widely till 2020. Great team wwith great ideas and experience what is really important in crypto projects.
