181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple Falls Below $1.75, Down 55% From High on: January 11, 2018, 04:54:57 AM
Burn baby burn
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple didn't lose value, they removed the Korean exchanges on: January 11, 2018, 04:44:11 AM
PS: Ripple is also a a scam. If you own any, get out and get out immediately while a "greater fool" still exists to buy your coins. People are getting smarter on the massive XRP premine and those fools won't be around for much longer.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple didn't lose value, they removed the Korean exchanges on: January 11, 2018, 04:42:12 AM
Uh, no. XRP has been CRUSHED on every exchange. It's trading for around $1.66 at the moment. Market cap has nothing to do with exchanges other than the fact exchanges set a price that can be used to compute it. The market capitalization of a coin is the average price traded time the number of shares outstanding. There are never large differences between prices on different legitimate exchanges since that would create an immensely profitable arbitrage - not like you can go buy XRP on the hundreds of exchanges where it is $1.66 and then go sell it on this mythical removed exchange where fairy dust flies and it's still $3.20.
184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: When do unconfirmed transactions expire on: January 11, 2018, 04:31:04 AM
An acceleration service is probably your best bet - they charge a fee and there is no guarantee but the concept is sound; all miners want is the fee so if an accelerator company is legitimately partnered with pools, and sends them your transaction, then when that block gets mined your transaction will be confirmed.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ethereum be beat Bitcoin on: January 10, 2018, 03:20:59 PM
My best guess would be Ethereum #1, BCH #2, with the original Bitcoin fork gradually fading into obscurity as miners move over to BCH. The original Bitcoin is just broken right now with huge transaction backlogs and very slow processing time for transactions that aren't laden with fees. BCH, by contrast, is functioning smoothly and should really have the higher market cap at this point. Ethereum's big edge is that the platform is useful for smart contracts and tokens.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: eth going strong on: January 10, 2018, 12:32:43 AM
ETH is the sun (and the son) and the moon and the sky and the stars. It is the chosen one!
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sold All my Ripple on: January 09, 2018, 11:52:15 PM
GOOD MOVE. Ripple is trash - centralized scam coin. My advice to anyone with XRP is sell it all, and sell it immediately.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had $50, what would you invest in? on: January 09, 2018, 12:24:53 PM
Something like Sexcoin (SXC). $50 would get you around 250 SXC. We've seen what happens when a coin takes off so if SXC becomes popular in the adult industry, possible, you would be looking at a valuation of something like $5 per token which would be a nice ROI for that $50 investment.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH reach BTC value ? on: January 09, 2018, 12:23:15 PM
In terms of value, market capitalization, it ETH probably already has surpassed BTC. The value of all the tokens plus all the ICO's build on top of the platform is enormous. In terms of price, that is also very likely but it require the two to move in different directions. Notably, if BTC just falls back to where it was trading early in 2017 and ETH remains where it is then a single ETH would be more valuable than a single BTC. More likely, BTC will fall to about $5k while ETH will continue an upward trend & they'll meet in the middle.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ripple the currency of the future? on: January 09, 2018, 06:03:39 AM
Ripple is a scam
191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Proof of how FEW people posting here understand how Bitcoin works on: January 08, 2018, 10:52:48 PM
Bitcoin has nearly all the characteristics of a good investment - it is scarce, useful, and if you protect your private keys extremely secure.

In addition to those highly desirable characteristics, it also has more amazing qualities:

1. Can be transferred anywhere in the world securely and, almost, instantly
2. Can be sold or bought in almost any fraction
3. Can be traded for other currencies or fiat on hundreds of exchanges
4. Can be used to buy real goods and services at hundreds of merchants
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it too late for TRON? on: January 07, 2018, 03:32:01 PM
Seems like garbage - I'm not wasting my time with it.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Marijuana coins are the new trend, Buy POTCOIN now on: January 07, 2018, 03:23:39 AM
I think Sexcoin (SXC) has more potential.
194  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time for Bitcoin to shine again on: January 05, 2018, 11:32:04 PM
Let's pray that the RIPPLE PREMINED CENTRALIZED SCAM COIN pump is over. BTC, the once and future king! Do these morons buying Ripple not realize they are just making a donation to one guy? Ripple co-founder, with his 37% stake, now the world's richest man. Sick. http://bitcoinist.com/ripple-co-founder-worlds-richest-person/
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum 2k USD in February? on: January 05, 2018, 05:07:31 AM
Since ethereum is the fuel that runs all the smart contracts, literally hundreds of ICO's and apps (i.e. the infamous cryptokitties) at the moment, it will be a very sought after commodity. $2k is possible in Feburary, $5k by year end.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple Or Stellar Lumens on: January 05, 2018, 04:28:27 AM
Ripple is essentially a scam - it is centrally controlled and nearly all the coins are controlled, and can be minted in unlimited quantity, by the central broker. Shouldn't even really be listed on crypto forums since it's a glorified Paypal.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum at $1000 in Jan 2018? on: January 04, 2018, 11:06:31 PM
No question ETH should be #1 right now by a wide margin. Pretty disgusting how so many coins stole ETH's design and try to peddle themselves as smart contract coins. That's bullshit - screw those coins and just buy ETH.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is DEAD for small payments, Bitcoin Cash is the FUTURE on: January 04, 2018, 10:27:30 PM
I like Sexcoin (SXC) better than Bitcoin Cash. It's got a better looking dev team.
199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto is real? on: January 04, 2018, 03:51:05 PM
No it's a false identity created by the team who originally created Bitcoin to provide them some cover in case authorities cracked down. Gavin Bell was clearly the lead contributor but quite a few people were involved. Hal Finney, etc...
200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why media against bitcoin ? on: January 04, 2018, 03:48:52 PM
They are probably getting payouts from those scammers at Ripple who run a centralized system but falsely claim it is a distributed blockchain.
