183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Antshares/ NEO [NEO] on: September 21, 2017, 01:49:00 AM
I hope it drops a bit more so I can get some cheap for Red Pulse ICO, then when Red Pulse gets closer (ICO Oct 8th) Neo should increase.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buying btc or tether or whatever directly using credit card on: September 21, 2017, 01:43:59 AM
CEX.IO lets you do it, they charge about 3.5% fee , I've used them before and it works fine. Might need to verify your ID though.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO] BitDice - Join The ICO Of The Biggest Crowdfunded Casino With 2300Ƀ PROFIT on: September 20, 2017, 06:56:04 AM
Congrats BitDice, unfortunate that BTC dropped so much by end of ICO. I basically lost $0.05 per token already due to drop in BTC/USD exchange rate from time I deposited BTC to end of ICO Sad

Let's hope the devs hit their goals, good luck!
186  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The world without leaders? on: September 19, 2017, 01:55:59 AM
Don't think it's possible, humans are like sheep, always need to follow somebody or something.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: September 19, 2017, 01:41:32 AM
Just a recommendation - Ardor , CombiCoin/Tria Token ICO - https://triaconta.com/ , Syscoin, Ark

Remember to Do Your Own Research, read the whitepapers, google some of their team members, then make your own decisions.

Haha, I didn't sell any of my stuff during the dips, I wish i had more money to increase my bags
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you have now 500$ for invest? Where you invest? on: September 18, 2017, 04:02:56 AM
This thread seems split between a reliable investment in BTC with lower return, or a high risk investment in altcoins.

I suggest reading up on CombiCoin, now in ICO.

For every 10 dollars you invest, you get 1 CombiCoin, as well as 1 TRIA token.
Each CombiCoin represents 1/30th of the top 30 cryptocurrencies. The team have run a lot of simulations, and this turned out to be the ideal ratio:  in the first half of this year for example, BTC grew 194%, whereas the top 30 grew 1198%. They will do bi-monthly rebalancing to keep alts from becoming dominant within CombiCoin, and to be able to introduce successful newcomers.
This means that as long as the crypto market as a whole grows (which it has done, exponentially, for a long time now), the CombiCoins grow in proportion. You pay zero commission over this growth and get to keep all of the profit you make by selling.

This is where the TRIA tokens come in. Specially designed software, which has been successfully applied in the energy sector, will keep track of all buying and selling orders of CombiCoins on as many exchanges as possible. Whenever these can be traded at a favorable rate, the smart software executes an order and generates profit. This profit is divided 50/50 between Triaconta - this is their business model - and the other half goes to the TRIA token holders. In other words, the token holders are basically guaranteed a steady income, as long as CombiCoins are being traded (which, in a growing crypto market with the coins rising in value, they will be).

I've invested €1500, here's why:

- With all recent China related FUD, I think a lot of demand has risen for more stable (and no less considerable) profit. The market consists of more than moonkids and speculators, there’s a big (partly untapped) market of people simply looking for better returns than current savings rates;

- I find it hard to figure out which crypto's to hedge my bets on. There's a couple of relatively stable big ones, but with low profits, and a lot of promising newcomers, many of which turn out to be one day flies (a little too often for my taste). I do, however, have great faith in the rise of cryptocurrencies in general - in the crypto market as a whole. I firmly believe this market will grow substantially in 2018 (and the CombiCoins in proportion to it);

- Then there's the added revenue from the TRIA tokens. You get these basically as a bonus during the ICO, and there's no telling how much each token will generate over a lifetime;

- I'm very impressed with the team, not just their qualifications but also their transparency and professionalism. They answer all questions on this forum and in their telegram quickly and thoroughly. I've asked many questions myself, but haven't been able to find a single unconsidered circumstance or any fatal flaw. They seem to have thought of everything. The software they will implement has been tried and tested, and they know how to convey confidence in their product. Only thing is that, where other (less promising) coins like Paragon are all in your face, Triaconta keeps it pretty low key and rather focuses on quality. This means it's partly up to the community to get the word out, but personally I'm happy to contribute.

I'd say do your own research, their whitepaper explains things very clearly. https://triaconta.com/

Well said sir! I have decided to invest in Triaconta/Combi for the same reasons, $1000 USD will get you 100 TRIA Tokens, expected monthly return per TRIA token is estimated between $0.05 USD (worst case prognosis) to $0.11 USD (best case prognosis) , so ~ $5 to $11 USD a month (for 100 TRIA tokens). Not a huge amount but I consider it a small bonus on top of the expectant growing price of CombiCoin and TRIA tokens themselves.

More detailed info from the whitepaper:

Quote
Appendix E. Profit Share prognosis

The following prognosis reflects our expectation of the near-term performance of the company. Triaconta strives
to be prudent in their forecasts.
The amount of profit the automatic trading software can generate is de
pended on the following things:

1. The daily volume of CombiCoin on the various exchanges
2. The daily volume the automatic trading software will do
3. Total amount of CombiCoin in circulation

The daily volume of CombiCoin on the various exchanges
From January 1, 2017, until July 29, 2017, the average volume of the top 30 cryptocurrencies traded per 24h is
3% of its total supply, meaning about 90% of the total supply of a given currency is traded in one month. The
expectancies are that this will be no different for CombiCoin. This means that Triaconta expects that 90% of the
total supply of CombiCoin will be traded on a monthly basis.

The daily volume the automatic trading software can do
Expectancies are that the software will be able to do between 20% to 50% of the available CombiCoin trades on
the various exchanges.

Total amount of CombiCoin in circulation
The initial circulation of CombiCoin will be determined by the amount raised during this ICO. The more
CombiCoins in circulation the more trade there will be on the various exchanges and therefore more possibilities
for the automatic trading software to either buy or sell CombiCoins.
The Profit share prognosis is based on the following expectations:
• 90% of CombiCoin is traded monthly
• In the worst case scenario the software is able to conduct 20% of all CombiCoin transactions
• In the best case scenario the software is able to conduct 50% of all CombiCoin transactions
• 5% margin per trade
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO=OPEN] CombiCoin: the cryptocurrency that is 100% asset backed by the top 30 on: September 18, 2017, 03:30:51 AM
Found this project by accident recently too, whitepaper looks very professional and detailed (unlike a lot of other ICO's I've seen, won't mention names), disappointed I didn't find out earlier during the bonus periods but I'll jump on the bounties now.

Only on about $1.5mil USD raised so far, hope it reaches $2M but hopefully higher so they can develop more automation for their exchange trading software, which means more dividends for TRIA token holders.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Game: Revolutionizing In-Game Transactions / E-sports. Time to Buy. on: September 18, 2017, 02:57:30 AM
Hi, are you guys actively trying to get it on Steam? I mean did you speak with somebody already or plan to?

That would be pretty sick...

I've heard some "insider" info that some huge things are coming in October for Game, but it might be BS.

Time will tell Tongue

We've spoken to a lot of different gaming companies. Listing on steam would be absolutely fantastic, even if we couldn't increase developers revenue by 20% (since steam takes a 30% cut and our store takes 10%). The ability for GAME to act as a universal payment method is still possible, and we have every intention of pushing various stores and platforms like steam.

Thanks for the update, good luck and I'll be backing you guys into the future
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Rads (Radium): The Sleeping Giant. Fresh news... Hot off the press! on: September 18, 2017, 02:49:39 AM
Yep, the recent downturn after the China news freaked me a bit, but I decided to chill, stop checking coinmarketcap.com every hour and go have a some beers at the pub, check back a few days later and it seems to be slowly recovering.

Strong hands and all that.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][FLO] Florin | 0.10 Upgrade | The original tx msg coin | Project Alexandria on: September 18, 2017, 02:47:05 AM
Yep, tried the Publishing Beta, a few bugs but that is expected, but nice UI and good potential.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Jamie Dimon triggered crypto selloff? on: September 13, 2017, 04:09:37 AM
man i know i'm late but i just saw the charlie lee cnbc interview and holy shit that was embarrassing and making crypto look like a huge joke. this guy should not be publicly speaking or tweeting or anything

Are you talking about this one? - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxWM6rJV0nk

He made me cringe on a few of his responses, he's not very articulate and can't seem to convey his message to a non crypto audience.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Game: Revolutionizing In-Game Transactions / E-sports. Time to Buy. on: September 13, 2017, 03:43:09 AM
Yes, thanks for the info Jack.

Personally, I'd like to someday see private GNation servers where I can wager MobileGO in PU Battlegrounds against 90+ other people. I'm no good at PUBG but it would be a hell of a lot of fun to wager a couple MGO at a time, with cascading payouts.

Yep definately this !

I am decent at PUBG so placing a bets on games I'm playing in would be awesome
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ardor, Where Technicals and Fundamentals Meet. 1billion potential cap(10x) on: September 11, 2017, 02:08:50 AM

Thanks for that, was considering what to do about the whole thing, haev decided to just buy Ardor and hodl
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Game: Revolutionizing In-Game Transactions / E-sports. Time to Buy. on: September 11, 2017, 02:01:39 AM
I bought some on Bittrex, not sure about others.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA - The revolutionary new cryptocurrency on: September 11, 2017, 01:55:18 AM
More info from one of the MIT researchers who found the vuln - https://medium.com/@neha/cryptographic-vulnerabilities-in-iota-9a6a9ddc4367

FYI I'm not trying to create FUD, I was actually looking to get some IOTA myself and was researching.

I'm slightly concerned actually since i got some BitDice ICO which is going to be using the IOTA ledger for their microtransactions.. eeek..  Sad

199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA - The revolutionary new cryptocurrency on: September 11, 2017, 01:35:59 AM
Big dips recently due to security vulneralbility found recently in their home-rolled crypto algo

https://www.coindesk.com/broken-hash-function-iota-price-drops-on-tech-critique/

A deeper look into it - https://hacked.com/iota-update-tangled-web-home-rolled-cryptography/

Makes me trust them less due to the way they tried to squirm out of this issue, not completely transparant..
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Game: Revolutionizing In-Game Transactions / E-sports. Time to Buy. on: September 11, 2017, 12:47:51 AM

What is your strategy to market this to developers? Have you been able to attract any interest from large developers?

Good question. First and foremost we're using our connections in the gaming industry. The CEO of gamecredits the CEO of Datcroft games, a gaming company that has had millions of players. We've become partners and friends with gaming developers like ZeptloLabs (creators of cut the rope one of the most popular mobile franchises in the world), Nautilus Mobile (very recent update), Webelinx, and more. Using their contacts and our own we're reaching out to developers on pretty much a daily basis. It's obviously at its slowest point in the beginning, but we still expect to have hundreds of mobile games signed up to the store in the coming months. We also have a large marketing budget for the store, about 25-50 million which we raised through the mobilego crowdsale (half was to market the mobile store). At the same time we're working on partnerships with game development software companies (can't name names right now) to allow the GameCredits store to become a standard for developers to make games for.

That's good news, I know mobile games are big and just getting bigger especially in Asia/India.

Are you guys going to be aiming to hit the non mobile market as well, I'm thinking more mainstream PC/Console market, if so I'd guess you'd be competing with other digital distrubition platforms like Steam, Unisoft Uplay, Battle.net , etc , if so I think it would be a hard battle since they are so established. Can you elaborate? Or would GameCredits possibly make it in as an alternative payment method integrated into their platforms?
