I see STRAT hitting $50 by Q4 2018 assuming the devs keep up with their releases and continue to support the project. I mean, Stratis already has a corporate customer, that's a lot more than most cryptos ever accomplish. This one is for people who are HODLING long term.
u/solutions/blockchain/ Who's their corporate customer? Do you mean the Microsoft Azure solution? https://azure.microsoft.com/en-au/solutions/blockchain/

Hmmm.. decisions decisions. Found a reddit post with some info, answered my question about what the point of NXT is after Ardor & Ignis come out - https://www.reddit.com/r/NXT/comments/57qrgg/nxt_ardor_and_ignis_qas/Ardor and Ignis have two different purposes that complement each other and Nxt remains as the tried and tested system that has existed for about 3 years. Companies, assets, other coins, and projects like Debune, LQD, OpenTrade Docs, and NAUT currently operate on/using the Nxt blockchain. Some people have stated a preference on using a tried-and-tested system for their projects so I expect Nxt to continue to be used down the road, on top of not every project needing their own child chain. Might go 50% NXT for airdrop, and 50% into ARDOR to hodl, @dbt1033 think this is an OK ratio?

Oh, that makes sense, I thought that the NXT coins were being converted to IGNIS coins and you lose the old NXT coins.

@dbt1033 - Great last post, as a newbie in crypto I really appreciate you taking time to give advice. Just a quick question, still trying to figure out how the Ignis ICO works, if I understand correctly: 1.) You can get some NXT now, wait for Ardor genesis and get 0.5 IGNIS per 1 NXT or 2.) You can buy into ICO directly with NXT for a JRLDA IOU token, at a rate of (right now) .76 NXT = 1 JRLDA = 1 IGNUS Why would anyone with NXT hold for the Ardor Genesis to get 0.5 IGNIS per 1 NXT, instead of buying into the ICO and pay .76 NXT for 1 IGNUS? Please enlighten

Just started researching BaaS and Stratis, looks very professional, good dev team and promising future especially aimed at Blockchain in the corporate private world. So much reading to do, but I am watching this to get in to hodl for long term.

I got some at 158 yesterday, thanks to @dbt1033 for your tips.

Doh, I skimmed it a few times but missed it and it was in the first few paragraphs, my bad.

Yeah, i'm putting one in at 5500 sats too, I'm planning to hodl long term, but still want to get in at lowest price point that I can.

Australian securities regulator ASIC spoke about ICO's - https://www.coindesk.com/asic-on-blockchain-australias-securities-watchdog-unlikely-to-regulate-icos/Also if you read the whole notice from PBoC, the language seems to differentiate between Cryptocurrency and Tokens from an ICO: https://www.coindesk.com/chinas-ico-ban-a-full-translation-of-regulator-remarks/From the translation: 1. An accurate acknowledgement of the nature of ICOs
"Token fundraising" refers to a process where fundraisers distribute digital tokens to investors who make financial contributions in the form of cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin and ether. Starting from the date of this announcement, all kinds of fundraising activities through token issuance should stop immediately. There are more instances where it seems like they are trying to emphasis that it is the tokens from ICO process that they are aiming at and not cryptocurrency itself such as BTC etc. That's how I read it, but I agree that ICO regulation seems like a good thing to weed out the scammers.

Pages and pages of buy/sell orders for the same exact amounts, sometimes doubling. I saw at least 30 sell orders filled for 115.33458 Syscoin (end decimals are made up, but you get the idea). Then they would just double that amount with another few pages, so 230.66xxx Syscoin. Then I saw a lot of buy and sell orders for small amounts matching the same exact amount to the decimal.
I also think it's risky because when other investors wake up, such as China they will sell off after seeing this growth. I think tomorrow is a good time to buy, it's always risky to buy after a run like this.
I could be wrong, too. But I sold at 6630, and I'm hoping to buy back at 5500 sats. Maybe I'm dreaming though.
Interesting, thanks for pointing that out. I was going to buy when it hit the 4000 low when everything was going down, then I went to the pub and when I got back later everything was going back up Planning on buying around 5000 sat as well.

Only found out about Florin and the Alexandria project yesterday, very cool stuff, I'm also a musician so definitely support this and hope it takes over iTunes, Spotify etc!

I think it looks interesting for it's privacy centric approach, still reading and learning about it, but it looks likei t has alot of support, & active community. I missed out on the Airdrop, but if you can get in on it, why not get some free coins for a bit of your time?

So many risky actions, but North Korea knows SK/JAP/US can't do crap, all that artillery pointed straight at Seoul, if the SK/JAP/US side initiates they can't take out all that artillery before millions in Seoul are shelled to death.
Would not want to live in that peninsula.

when i was new her i dint know what are alt coins but when the time i research it and get the wanted information i got a lot of alt coins to prefer and make the right decision.I guess that all people has a set of opinion and different wants and it also may depend on what will they use it on.i still prefer that not all alt coins is recommend to invest . you must find good research and investment to get what you really wanted but if i'm going to recommend some coins i prefer the NEM and Ethereum because they are the latest trend alt coins for me.
That right, For now the famous and good altcoin is promoted NEM and Ethereum. I strongly agree you recommend to choose NEM and Ethereum. I agree with NEM, also Ripple (XRP). I have both and plan to get a bit more. SIACOIN looks interesting as cloud storage using block chain tech, developers have stated they don't want pump & dump on SIA as it's supposed to be stable and the means by which the end users pay for the cloud storage service.
