182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Power Slap League on: February 02, 2023, 06:41:28 PM
they have the selected players and the medical team so nothing to worry about.

What makes you think there is nothing to worry about in that disgusting sport? Is it because cases of burst ear drums of participants have not been reported in the media? Yes we know that injuries is part of sports and that all sports have their own ills and bad side but to intentionally go into the one with obvious bad side is like walking into a ditch. I want that sport to die off and not have any sponsorship.
183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Power Slap League on: February 02, 2023, 04:33:45 PM
But my topic here i want it to be about betting on this new sport and tournament which i still didn’t see any bookmaker announcing anything about this matter, And in my opinion it’s a lot of fan and as any fighting sport there is always bookmakers that will eventually include Power Slap League and allow people to bet on their favorite fighters.

That sport is horrible and maybe that is why nobody is ready to sponsor it. I have never seen something as much disgusting as that. Most of the slaps are heavy that few of the participants had passed out during the competition. They do not use protection for their ears. Alot of ear drums of those into this type of sports are going to burst because of unprotected heavy hitting in that region. Whoever introduced that as a type of sport should be sanctioned. It is the worst extreme sport in the world that I have witnessed. Worse than UFC.
184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still holding your coins #btc on: February 02, 2023, 02:17:54 PM

Am still keeping mine and that is the little I have earned doing signature campaigns and will continue to do so . My plan is not to spend any from it till 2024. I want to see what happens then. I only check my wallet once in a while to see what level of appreciation is going on. And so far it has been on the rise. In the past, that is 2022 I sold almost all that I kept aside. This year will be different, am not going to sell any bit this year. I want to be among those who are holding.
185  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2023, Bullish or Bearish? on: February 02, 2023, 01:34:36 PM

Bitcoin has remained bullish for years if you follow the charts. Even when we think it is bearish, it is still bullish from the chart since it was created. I hope you understand me. There is no year that bitcoin has clearly been bearish or bullish. There is always a mixture of the both, bearish and bullish. My assessment of it this 2023 is that it will do more of bull than bear, we can feel that already starting in January. I want to see more of price rise in February than what we found in January, and more in the rest of the months this year. That is my position.
186  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: i am a housewife want to invest in bitcoin on: February 02, 2023, 11:54:36 AM

is it too late to invest in bitcoin?
because I saw on the internet that bitcoin is currently experiencing an increase.

and whether my decision is right or not, to invest in bitcoin?

please guide for all the friends in this forum?

It is not late now to invest in bitcoin eventhough the price has significantly gone up. But do not feel bad buying at this time because there is more rise in price to catch up with in months to come. Bitcoin is an investment that can not make you loose everything you have invested especially if you are going long term. Give yourself one year or two and then you go and sell. Anything within two years from now will mean you are in good profit and the right thing will be to sell off before another drop.

I am in strange trouble at the moment. I am logged in my browser but i have forgotten the password.
I will remain login as long as i don't logout. Is there any way i can recover my password ?

That account was registered in 2016, it is over 6 years and you have not made up to 7 posts since then. That account is not much of anything yet so you can abandon it and start afresh. But something does not fit right with your story. Am lost why you are bothered about reclaiming that account. Eventhough it was a bought account, why would anyone buy such an account with such less posts and activities.
188  Other / Meta / Re: my account have gotten hacked for some years now on: February 02, 2023, 10:40:44 AM
security logs ip change have all the details my friend. i alread said it the account is mostly used and created in the Netherlands if anyone have logic they can see that the accounts ip is now used by a weird country

How do you know that the IP has changed if you can not access your email account and the forum account? This logs are sent to the email we used in opening the account we are using here. We get alerted of anyone logging in any time they do, even if we are the one trying to log in and that is how the ip is revealed, except if forum admin reveals that to you. So how did you get that if you can not log into your email account?

If you had not noticed, one of my habits has been to post walls of text, and to elaborate on topics in which I am interested.. to the extent that I remain interested in such topic.

I have noticed that also. And I admire the time you spend in each of your posts to create such wall of posts. It does not matter what the discussion it is for you. I first observed your posts in Wall Observer thread and it is same way elsewhere. But do you think those who see your posts want to read them to the end every time they come across them? Am only asking a question and please do not take my comment wrongly.
190  Economy / Economics / Re: Has the popularity of bitcoins reduced interest of people in stocks? on: February 02, 2023, 06:32:46 AM

Stocks are too slow when we compare it with bitcoin. People want quick gains and that is what bitcoin gives when put side by side with stocks and all others.

There are still traders that are sticking with stocks because the risk is lower than btc.
Though if you are already comfortable with crypto market, you may really favor the crypto market.

Everybody will not like a thing. There are going to be people who will take a left turn when others are going right. And that is what I see in everything we do both here and outside here. There are people who consider skydiving a normal sports while someone like me can not dream of doing it. Put me on death row and give me an option of skydiving, I will choose death row.

It is easier for me to follow bitcoin than the stock market that has numerous company stocks to follow.
But it is also the same with crypto market, if you are following a lot of coins or tokens.

We are only talking about bitcoin here against stocks. And not the whole cryptocurrency market. Please read the thread topic again.

On the other hand, with cryptocurrencies, most projects are anonymous ones so you have no clue where they are heading to when it comes to development.

Have you not seen established companies declaring bankruptcy? Risk is everywhere whether anonymous or not, whether online or off it.

Stocks are too slow when we compare it with bitcoin. People want quick gains and that is what bitcoin gives when put side by side with stocks and all others. It is also happening to me. Stocks does not appeal to me again since I learnt about bitcoin. It is easier for me to follow bitcoin than the stock market that has numerous company stocks to follow.

So I explained my case to her. She asked my thoughts and I told her I didn't know what to think really. Her advice was to wait til a Friday after all the doctors have gone for the weekend and go into any ER. Just go in and complain of chestpain and don't tell them shit. They won't look into anything but will do a work up to see what they find. Then I'll be able to find out if this hospital and doctors are lying to me. She said it would be Tuesday before they spoke to any other doctors and by then I'd already have some answers and know whether to trust what's going on currently.

Your nurse suspects that something fishy is going on and she could be right. Am not trying to say miracles do not happen. They do, because God is never tired of doing miracles. But sometimes we still have to double check this things and be sure what we are faced with. We have bad eggs in every institution and we should not look at the medical staff as saints. There are also corrupt ones among them. Follow what your nurse suggested. I pray for quick recovery for you. May God grant you healing.
193  Economy / Economics / Re: Is renting an inevitable waste of money? on: February 01, 2023, 05:29:33 PM
If you're young and haven't inherited a property from your ancestors, chances are that you're forced to rent. Personally, I've been renting for over 6 years and have been living with my girlfriend for the last 4, sharing rent and utilities.

If you have stayed in a love relationship with a girl for as long as 4 years what is stopping you from making a family with her by marrying her. 4 years is enough time to strike that deal, except you think she will not make a good wife. And if you think so why not severe that relationship and let her go.

Overall, we've both spent over €25,000 together, and after spending all this money, you're practically left with nothing and may be subject to looking for a new house at any moment.

Is the €25,000 monthly or annually? If it is monthly, that is too much. You have to move into a smaller and cheaper apartment and save up to start building your own.
194  Economy / Economics / Re: Is taking a loan/debt addicted ? on: February 01, 2023, 05:17:02 PM
Well, I have to clarify that personally I have never had any loan or debt in my life so this thread has nothing to do with my experience but intends to find out how people in loan/debt deal with the problem.

Most people who go for loans do not do it because they want to but they have to because of pressing needs upon them. From your comment I perceive that you are still very young. You could be in your 20s and will not know what those in their 30s and 40s with depending relatives and family responsibilities or business go through. Just pray you do not have such situations upon you. Most debtors will gladly pay back but there are some who are quarrelsome once it gets to pay back time. We know that. They are bad debtors.
195  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: This is a gathering of many hopeful people. on: February 01, 2023, 06:35:18 AM

This gathering is not only in this forum. It is everywhere people expect to gain something from something. There is a similar gathering for other businesses also whether in mlm, stocks, pornography, education or anything that puts money in the pockets. But what makes the gathering here different is the desire of members to recognise this new trend and phenomenon called bitcoin and trust in what it has to offer the world. Like you said we are all hopeful it will go down well with those of us who trust in bitcoin.
196  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Duelbits.com The Criminal Casino on: January 31, 2023, 02:26:19 PM

If you have a strong and real case against Duelbits and you want to publish it on a website, why did you not do it first and then come here and put reference source for us to read on that website you are creating? Instead of making the accusations first and expecting us to do research on it or contact you through an email. You did not  present any evidence, only stories upon stories. My friend please do not run down someone's business because of hate if they have not done anything bad. Do not do that, karma has a way of settling this things.
197  Economy / Reputation / Re: How can a person gain his/her trust in Bitcointalk forum? on: January 30, 2023, 08:57:03 PM

You do not need to ask for it. Those with good spirit will give you the positive feedback after you have dealt in business with them. Asking for it can get you into trouble if you ask from members who think you are doing it to up your trust score and then use it to scam others. The best you can do is relax and let your business partners score you willingly.
198  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question about forum threads expirey date on: January 30, 2023, 01:41:16 PM
If I ask a question and it has been answered, I decided not to lock the thread because some other users may still want to contribute, I like all experienced members on this forum to contribute, although my thread is not a spam thread and I always prefer to report spammers than locking a thread.

This is what makes others also leave their threads open after they have the answer they are looking for because they are expecting certain users to comment on their threads. You expect those you call experienced to post in it when you know you should be locking it and that leaves room for spam posting whether you admit or not. Sometimes the experienced users you want may not even be knowledgeable in the field that question is on. Am not saying all threads should be locked, but those ones asking questions should be locked if their answers are gotten.
199  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] Roobet.com Signature Campaign | The Honest Online Casino | Full Members+ on: January 30, 2023, 10:16:00 AM
Thank you all for yet another great week, keep it up! Smiley

No new positions have opened up.
Too bad no jr member slot available for this campaign, it would have been an honor working for you. You're doing an amazing job and keep it up boss.

There is no way you will be picked even if you are a Full member because your posts are mainly bounty reports. You have to change your posting style to stand any chance.
200  Economy / Economics / Re: When your passive income equals or slightly above your salary, what would you do on: January 29, 2023, 06:08:22 PM

I have been in a job I detested and although I somehow managed to stay at it for up to 4 years, I didn't even for once let go of my passionate hobby and other passive streams of income I was interested in at the time.
Today, one of my passive interests pays more than my salary. My mind has been yearning for a resignation, but opinions of others and family bears the message of patience with the job I so much detest for reasons ranging from inflation to fear of the unknown.

If you were in my shoes, what would be the best advice you would give yourself and adhere to in this instance?

You hate your job and then luckily for you your side hustle is able to fetch you as much as your salary from your despised job and you are asking what next you should do? You already know the answer. As for those family members urging you to still stay on that hated job, that are only selfish. They want to be enjoying what little economic independence you gain from being in a job or the little you also do for them financially. Nobody wants someone to depend on them financially. They will find every available means to persuade you to stay and I believe that is what those people are doing to you.
