I knew that it's a scam, I said it after they started the second round of voting. It was clear that there was no need for second round they just wanted to get some more PR. Fuck'n scammers! Aren't they banning cryptocurrencies in India at the moment? I'm wondering how relevant this win is now with the new regulation. If I have understood that correctly, the Central bank of India forbid banks to trade cryptocurrencies, it doesn't mean exchanges or individuals are forbidden from trading crypto. I think it's rather a safety measure to make sure banks aren't gambling all the money they have  |

Very Disappointed to hear this... we have done a great work to rank first now they ask for money in order to list our coin in their exchange... I am disappointed too guys. What is this? I never expect anything like this. Thank you for the notice. I will do my own research about this story. DeepOnion is not the only one. I saw on twitter another poll winner should also pay 5 btc  It's a mystery why they do that ? They just have to list the winners to get free marketing, trading volume and publicity to be in position to ask for other coins to pay for listing in the future, they have done it in a very wrong way  |

Damn! I've had a hell of a two days and now we're at page 1004! Amazing. Got fired from my job thrusday over 100% bullshit and I have video evidence to prove it... Then yesterday I stupidly try to download a crack for video editing software, let my antivirus trust it... and boom. I didnt get trojaned luckily but adware out the ass installed about 1000 programs and started editing mad file settings. Luckyily I've rolled back to two days prior but I feel as my machine may still be compromised... going to buy a new one later today and change all my passwords.  Must have been a pretty rough end of the week. I hope you can get a compensation for being fired unfairly and about this malware, well I avoid cracking software as much as I can since I have started crypto, I don't want my computer to get compromised but sometimes you face difficult choices |

Great research and leg work by MisterLG, it's a shame they have sullied their own name by trying to scam people out of BTC. It's just so annoying we all went to the effort of playing by their rules to get listed only to find out it was a waste of time. Nevermind though, there are plenty of legit exchanges out there we can get listed on It's very disappointing, we had so many votes, we had huge expectations and made them great publicity just to get stabbed in the back afterwards |

No doubt DeepOnion will moon. I just don't understand the reasoning behind it, lol. The Bitcoin maximalists at the other side of this forum hates this coin. I often wonder why.
DeepOnion will rise because it offers something to the world, which is anonymous transactions. And it has good developers who keep making the project better and better, adding and fixing stuff wherever it is needed. Bitcoin does not offer anonymous transactions, it was simply one of the pioneers who opened the way for the rest of the coins. So, while I'm grateful to Bitcoin for that, I will not treat it like the holy cow and worship it. Hate is an emotion just like love, it will remain regardless of success or failure. You can't make everyone in the world like something, and you can't make everyone in the world hate something. No use explaining how technologically advanced DeepOnion is going to be for this kinds of people. Many people hate deep onion because they were once part of the project. They left early for some reason and now they don't have any more onions. They just hope onion is down in order to prove that they had made the right decision of leaving this project... Some people hate or love things for many different reasons, some people don't like low marketcap coins, some people have already picked a favorite privacy coin, some hate projects with premine and as you say other want to be confirmed in their decision to overlook a project. In the field of cryptocurrencies, the only project I dislike is Verge. I really love DeepOnion but I am also a Bitcoin maximalist in some way because I believe the success of the market depends on Bitcoin for now, it could change but it would have a devastating effect on crypto prices |

I wasnt avare new thread is here so I will repost from the old thread: I follow this project quite a time. I must say I am very impressed by the team and its community. I am buying steadily onions to make sure dollar avarage my position. Read all the accusation of some people on the forum and I came to conclusion that this a re nothing but a fud from dishonest people who are basically caught scammers. I have checked the stealth addresses on the testnet, everything seems fine, so I am exited to whats comming from this project. Such amazing achivments for such short time. Today I ordered some promo materials from deeponion.shop and will promote the project where ever I go. Cheers people Nice to read you. The team really is working hard. To be real, DO will not surpass BTC but there is room for both to do fabulously!
Any coin may surpass BTC it's just the matter of time. Being the original doesn't mean being an undisputed leader. Exactly, bitcoin is only the first cryptocurrency to exit, but it will not be the main one for a long time, and more because of the current characteristics that define it, and I practically cease to be the reference for the new altcoin, and deeponion if it can be worth even more than bitcoin, but that requires time and adaptation. Do you remember when the iPhones were out? I remember that it was the first digital smartphone i saw in my life, Some people till now adopted the name iPhone for smartphones even if it is an HTC or a Huawei, Because iPhone revolutionized the world when it came up, But This doesn't mean that Samsung or Sony aren't great, they share the mobile market altogether. This is a small example that adapts for Crypto, Why bitcoin is famous and has a high value? because it's simply the first one, so it dominated the market alone for years, Now DeepOnion and others projects might just be like Sony and Samsung. I don't think we can't compare Bitcoin and DeepOnion anyway. It's like comparing two different things with two different purproses. Bitcoin is the main trading pair in crypto, it has a transparent blockchain, it cannot evolve much because too many different actors are involved and too much money is at stake...DeepOnion is new, it aims for full privacy, it can evolve and become much more than privacy coins we already know. The single greatest use of cryptocurrencies is to be a transfer of value. It doesn't matter how much better a coin is to Bitcoin, and lets me frank most coins are, as long as Bitcoin puts out updates to improve its ability to complete more transactions efficiently (i.e. lightning network) then it will remain on top. Bitcoin today is ALOT stronger than the Bitcoin of 6-months ago because of the lightning network. IMO, Ethereum is a safe bet at spot number 2 as well. That said, spots 3-10 are open season to DeepOnion and I don't know of any other coin that are currently ranked 51 down, other than Aion and Oyster, that I can say that about. Considering where Onion is right now, that should says ALOT about how bullish I am on Onion. Well said, people will anyhow value bitcoin to most "expensive" or highest market value coin probably forever just because it was the first ever cryptocurrency. That doesn't mean that people will not use another crypto in their daily life, like a privacy coin. Bitcoin will end up as a store of value anyhow due to its increasing price, it will not be suitable to pay 0.0000000001 BTC at the bakery I think Lightning Network will help using Bitcoin as a payment but probably not for small daily spending. Bitcoin will probably become a transparent form of store of value and become part of central banks reserve, I assume privacy coins like DeepOnion could act as an individual private store of value and digital money for small daily payments (so not everyone in the world is aware of what are your daily spending habits). I could be wrong but I was under the impression that the lightning network will make Bitcoin the absolute best coin to use precisely for those small daily transactions due to its virtually instant transaction speeds and essentially free transaction costs. If that's the case then nothing will touch Bitcoin for the foreseeable future imo. As a veteran DO supporter that doesn't bother me in the least because we will still outpace BTC; we don't have to top it on CMC to become mega rich. I think it will help but probably won't solve the scalability issue and the high transaction fee issue if the price of Bitcoin rise past current ATH |
