Mining is more of a low risk long term reward project, its usually better to just buy the coin directly if you believe in it and want quicker profits. But investing in crypto also carrys the risk of all your investment being virtual, while mining atleast secures part of your investment in hardware which has some resale value. I know someone who bought AMD cards and setup their own mining rigs,it cost around 4,00,000 for them and they used to mine altcoins on it but with the current price it is no more profitable they considering sale the equipments and want the money to invest back on the altcoins rather than mining it.

Well thats a pretty steep price, I think he purchased the parts during the mining peak when everything was double the price, and even then he got scammed with the prices. Mining hardware has been really cheap this year with the crash that happened next year, and prices are yet to rise again even though the bull run has begun. There are a ton of great resources in the altcoin mining threads on bitcointalk, spend some time reading those, theyll help. Yes mining can be profitable forever or the crypto transactions will not happen since we need miners to confirm the transaction but again it takes time to make profits and also you said we are investing on hardware not on the cryptos. |

Holding volatile valued thing can be profitable or loss as well based on when we are going to sell them.
If you are not going to be comfortable when the prices are falling then this might not suitable for you so just move to gold or something very stable.

When its paying BTC.
There are lots of campaign that pays their token to the participants but those tokens will only have value when the project is going to be working and will have demands in the market. If not then its just going to be like you are paid with nothing. The team is just making a fool out of us. I have joined to these campaign in the past and I know how tragic it looks like because you have toiled to make thier project good by creating articles for them but the prize you got is a waste.
Not really every project that is paying their participants in Bitcoin are worth to participate because there are some scam exchanges like yobit did that and even banned by admin later,chances of happening again is possible.  |

If investors have problem to choose a good ICO to invest, then bounty participants do not have even such skills to find profitable bounty campaign. And I am not talking about how many times the bounty campaigns that were successful did not want to send bounty tokens because they were afraid of dump.  hmm ... I think you are right, as a participant indeed we only take part directly in promoting their projects not to find out more. it is true that not all participants do research because it wastes too much time. People want money so they get lured into the project where the bounty mentioned is huge so they think that they can make lot of money but if it is not a good project the value mentioned will not be same when it hit that exchanges. |

Either ICO IEO or STO, this shouldn't be what you will rely upon to get great benefits from new projects,what makes a difference is the thing that the teams are attempting to construct ,the inquiries you should begin posing to yourselves is what innovative idea will the new project offer crypto space ? Also, how great are teams records.
Many investors are complaining that they are at lose investing in some IEO projects ,these investors believe that all IEO projects are good and should be able to double or triple their ROI which is not possible unless they actually do good research on the projects first ,lack of research will always leads investors astray
Sometimes even good project you invested will not give what you are expected and the reasons can be not enough exposure of the project or bad market condition so we have to find that project is good and also their strategy of getting many investors or else we are the person needs to be blamed. |

Are you interested in IEO? How about your opinion? I think IEO trend will run to end of this year and IEO is one of the good speculation channel.
Concentrate on IEOs from most reputed exchange then you may get some benefits,otherwise its better to stay away from the new projects because even after making decent profits the project might failed most of the time so don't risk your money if you are not a risk taker and completely afford to lose everything. |

A few days back, I posted an online ad on OLX to sell some furniture. I get a call yesterday saying that he is interested and would like to buy the piece. He builds a beautiful story about working for BSF in Rajasthan and his family running a reselling business in Rohini, Delhi. He wants to finalize the deal and says that he would pay the 60% of the amount now and rest when his truck comes to pickup the furniture. I agree to it and he then asks for my UPI ID to make the payment. I share my UPI credentials where he then sends a request for money. Because I have used UPI in the past, I know that to receive any amount you don't need to enter your UPI PIN. I call him to confront about this and he plays it nice by saying that he has a merchant ID and it is required on merchant IDs. It does not take me long to realize that it is a scam to get people to transfer their funds in name of depositing money in their account.
Please be safe and remember that you don't need to enter UPI PIN for any incoming payment. Also, read the details for request/deposit carefully before making any payment. When I researched about it, I saw that many have been robbed of their money in a similar fashion.
Stay Safe and do report to police if anyone approaches you with a similar proposition.
Nothing related to crypto here so better to move this to off topic. But yes these kind of scams are here for years so we have to be concious what we are dealing with. |

It is sad and pathetic to see the state of cryptos in India, not only on this forum, but beyond it. As has always been the case in India. We are late in adopting tech. And cronny companies like Reliance is killing the whole ecosystem.
Indians got betrayed by trusting and it happens for centuries so they are trusting jio and even governments supporting them blindly. India don't have any single language to represent the community but also it is impossible to have merit source for every language but atleast we need to have a merit source who have a good knowledge on Hindi and English to support here. Why is it not possible to have merit sources for every language? Buddy there are enough Bengalis in India that doesnt even exist in the country where Bengali is the national language. Same for Tamil, Nepali, Andamanic languages, and north eastern languages. As the country progresses into the internet age, more of these speakers will come online, and nearly all of them will have something valuable to say. We might have people who can possibly be a merit source once they done good job at finding the worthy posts but currently we have 131 merit sources and atleast half of them will be only for english sections and others might concentrate on the local but when it comes to India 20 more regional languages so do you think theymos will allocate 20 members here? |

Well I guess its pretty easy to spot a genuine post, if it comes from someone who has been around for a while, and isnt shilling something, its a proper post.
In any case if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I dont see how a merit source would help if the content isnt worthy of merit.
Indian board doesn't have any moderator so every childboard filled with spams and most reports were unhandled so the spams need to be trashed if we want to see the worthy posts. |

I am in india and the prices are so cheap here and it might be less than $0.1 per copy I guess. nop that price is expensive i know some details you place bulk order you can get cheap quotation they are make (4 ctp plate and ink,papers,Machine I.M) and most press are ready to ship Not sure about the accurate price but compared to countries which are developed everything in India is so cheap. |
