181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do advisors really matter? on: May 03, 2018, 04:40:13 PM
I think they play a huge role. In algebraix's case. all of the advisors are key players to their expansion and credibility. Great roundup they pulled together
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] HAVVEN — Decentralised and asset-backed STABLECOIN on: May 03, 2018, 04:38:57 PM
Is there any problem with HAV token? I tried 3 times to transfer HAV token from MEW to exchange but all of them were failed.

Not that I know of...I would ask them in their telegram group: https://t.me/havven_official1

Also, did you guys see that they're planning on announcing something today?? https://blog.havven.io/announcement-coming-tomorrow-8bebe90d14a0
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [AIRDROP] ALGEBRAIX - Permission-based advertising platform. Own your data on: May 03, 2018, 04:37:42 PM
I feel that the ALX rewards are just too small, and is not worth the Mobile data usage. I wish this will increase when real merchants enter the platform.

They also mentioned that they're adjusting the rewards based on user behavior. Since phase 2 began, the rewards have gone up a good amount. I think once they have advertisers on board, it will be different based on their budgets. overall great project and app experience so far
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / The first time we see a stablecoin in action on: May 03, 2018, 04:35:20 PM
Saw this on crypto ninjas about havven launching their ecommerce store where you can use a stablecoin to buy stuff: https://www.cryptoninjas.net/2018/05/02/havven-launches-online-store-for-accepting-the-stablecoin-as-payment/

What do you guys think??
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Havven is launching an estore!! on: April 16, 2018, 11:17:10 PM

186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think HODL is bad for your health? on: March 22, 2018, 10:09:46 PM
I don't think so. If anything it's unhealthy to be obsessing over the market everyday lol. HODL and keep carrying on
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA vs IoT??? on: March 22, 2018, 10:08:49 PM
IoT is the future, whether we like it or not. More and more of everyday things are being connected to the internet. IOTA is a coin that mainly focuses on IoT. It has no transaction fees, lightning fast transactions (the bigger the community, faster the transactions will be), no need for miners, no added electricity consumption… And it uses tangle, not blockchain. It’s a third-generation crypto currency.

It is worth investing in because it still isn’t fully released. We can expect lots of gains in 2018.

One thing I do like about ITC is that they use DAG+PBFT which is fast and scalable. The problem with IOTA is that its architecture is centralized. ITC solves those problems while providing more security. they even had a meeting with Bosch recently too.

188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop that gives 15,000 tokens for downloading the beta on: March 22, 2018, 10:05:41 PM
It looks like a good project, they have some patents but you need to analyse it more but as it is just the airdrop you want to participate in, does not matter much it can be profitable.

yes I saw the patents that they have. pretty cool if you ask me. The team is also pretty cool as well. CEO is co-founder of reality shares, where they issued BLCN which I think was the first blockchain partnership with Nasdaq. very impressive. I also like that they have a beta before a public sale
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] IoT-Chain on: March 22, 2018, 10:03:15 PM
ITC is on the rise guys. Pick up more before it's too late https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/iot-chain/

currently watching this interesting interview with the ceo: https://youtu.be/t293c33KN0c
lots of great points brought up
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [AIRDROP] ALGEBRAIX - Permission-based advertising platform. Own your data on: March 22, 2018, 10:01:26 PM
I think the CEO is a big aspect of the company but even the idea is pretty smart. I watch ads all day and I would rather get paid to do it. At least then the ads would be focused on my interests instead of ads for like makeup lol. Downloaded the beta app and I'm really digging the look and functionality. Will be back to express my other thoughts  Cheesy

I see a big future for targeted / warranted ads. It would just make us better consumers lol, making everything like you said, more efficient looool. gotta download the beta. just waiting on the email
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be hacked? on: March 22, 2018, 10:00:00 PM
Definitely not. I wouldn't worry about the tech itself, but more so the users lol. Lots of margin for error when you buy it and store it along with custodianship.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / How much is your user data worth?? on: March 22, 2018, 09:57:17 PM
Now that google and twitter have joined the banning of crypto ad, there have been some projects popping up that talk about privacy of our user data for advertisers. This as a good read about the value of our user data as consumers.

What do you guys think?
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ADA VS IOTA 2018 on: March 22, 2018, 09:54:52 PM
If you're looking at IOTA, then I would look into IoT Chain (ITC). Better tech than IOTA and has the power to scale quickly AND they're not centralized. The future lies in DAG tech. https://iotchain.io/

195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How exactly do altcoin tokens distribute airdrops? on: March 22, 2018, 09:53:43 PM
I've always been curious about the process because I signed up for an airdrop the other day where they're airdropping 15,000 tokens to every person that signs up. Pretty crazy to think about the logistics.

196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency to be accepted in shops by 2025? on: March 22, 2018, 09:52:22 PM
I really think that stablecoins are the way to go for mass adoption and for people to use crypto for everyday transactions. Should look into Havven for this one. Great project, company, and system that is completely trustless. https://havven.io/
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Airdrop that gives 15,000 tokens for downloading the beta on: March 22, 2018, 09:50:15 PM
Hey guys I wanted to share this great airdrop I found out about. Algebraix has a beta tester program where you download the app, use it, and give them feedback and you get 15k tokens.

Their platform is a permission-based advertising platform. What do you guys think?? Here's the link to the airdrop: https://algebraix.io/beta/
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Havven ICO - everyday crypto transactions on: February 27, 2018, 10:35:22 PM
The Havven ICO is currently going on. Their whole idea is a decentralized payment network designed to enable everyday transactions with crypto using a stable medium of exchange. What do you guys think about the project? Great? Good? Okay?

From what I've seen this is the first of its kind--a stablecoin. would love your thoughts on this one. https://havven.io/
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Polymath overtake Ethereum? on: February 27, 2018, 10:32:52 PM
Holding some poly right now. Planning on picking up some more. in terms of poly vs eth, very different. Although I can see them as the ETH of the securities world
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain 3.0 = DAG?? on: February 27, 2018, 10:31:22 PM
