Looking at my reseller figures, I'd hazard a guess that they've just done a shed load of refunds. Anyone care to confirm?

weekly and daily, log
taking a decision now is risky IMO. We'll know before May, 19th where this goes.

To May 19th we must wait almost a month ... anything can happen during this month!

10th actually. So a week on Saturday. Then we have to wait another week for PBOC to say they still aren't happy.
183  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 28, 2014, 09:06:15 AM
According to reports, PBOC requires commercial banks and third-party payment agencies to convey to the public that it no longer provides financial services to any Bitcoin transaction before May 10th "Bitcoin Beijing International Summit".

The deadline is real guys

Now I'm really pissed off..
PBOC are clearly not content with ruining my week, now they are moving their "deadlines" to the weekend! What a horrible bunch.

*** Latest news from KNC ***

All,

So last week we really messed up. We sent out products to our customers which arrived broken, damaged and quite frankly unusable.

So in order to fix this the best way we can. We are not asking for these products back from anyone who has received them already. We will simply assume that every card was damaged in shipment even if it arrived undamaged. We will send out to every customer who had a 3TH Jupiter or several already arrive, enough cards to replace their entire collection,

There is no way our customers should have to suffer because of our mistake in not properly securing the components during shipment.
Any effected box in transit is being cancelled by UPS and returned to us to be fixed by our teams,

The factory that produces the cards has been running over the weekend and we hope to have all the replacement cards sent out this week.

Rather than spending more time than is absolutely necessary on this we are going to take the approach of the famous Swedish Furniture maker and ship the box with minimal self-assembly. An instruction video is being made today and will be available later for all to see.
Again we are sorry for not delivering up to our own accepted standard,

Thanks

KnCMiner Team

Looks promising let's see how they go this round

Yeah, despite the bad situation with shipping they have done the right thing here. Bravo Knc!

If I'd received a broken unit and knew that I was getting a free replacement this week I'd be taking the broken ones straight down to the local electrical shop and trying to get it fixed. If things can be fixed that's double the hash power for the same price.. NICE!

Why would there not be a round the clock liquidation on Huobi if this is the end for the Chinese?
Because that would drive the price down too far and result in loss for the sellers. Its much better to dump little by little and let the market re-stabilize inbetween. There is no hurry so far the deadline is still some days away

What date is this deadline? Need to make sure to pop it in my calendar. Might as well set it as a reoccurring entry these days!

Are prices negotiable?

Give me an offer, but had quite a bit of interest already.
188  Economy / Computer hardware / Kncminer November Job Lot (1 X Jupiter, 1 Saturn, 1 Upgrade Module) on: April 25, 2014, 04:46:15 PM
Hi,

I am looking to sell 3 out of the 5 miners that I currently have. The only reason I am selling is because I'm moving house, these are currently in a cooled basement, but sadly don't have that luxury in the new place, could also do with some extra moving funds.

Edit: 1 of the Jupiters has sold, now have 1 Jupiter and an upgraded Saturn available.

Kncminer Jupiter - 680ghs

Hashes reliably at 680 ghs, without over clocking. Haven't touched the advanced setting, but I am sure you could get some more juice out of it if you tried. I am looking for £1,100 which includes PSU and shipping within the UK. Can ship within Europe but will require additional payment for international shipping.

Kncminer Jupiter - 680ghs (NOW SOLD)

Kncminer Saturn - 480ghs

Standard Kncminer Saturn, but with an upgrade module, so you get 3 boards, rather than the usual 2.

Looking for £850 for this, including shipping and PSU within the UK.

Collections are fine in the North West area and more than happy to Skype, or give additional photos to people seriously interested.

If anyone wants to buy the whole lot, weighing in at a whopping 1,840ghs including PSUS with the potential to over clock, I can do a deal and ship you the lot within the UK for £2800

apparently not only the sunlot is trying to propose a plan to resurrect Gox, but Okcoin too.

Got a source to the OKcoin story?

I just thinking to buy more machines. If that graph really goes down and with more difficulty, did calculate in bitcoinwisdom, its never ROI. 1 TH with price almost 3500 USD (include shipment and tax). How the hell people still buy more machines ?

The price going down is not a guranteee! That was just Teras prediction.
I'm not even predicting how far it's going to drop - just that it needs to find volume. It could be at 400 and that would be lovely.

My prediction is either above 400 or below 300.  It either ends soon (in the next 30 days) or it gets ugly.

Its just that why people have guts to buy 3000 usd + (and some with 9000+) while its not certain, are should I say 50:50. Because I dont, except im multimillion dollar rich... Is it just I cant see the picture or they dont use calculator. Please make me wanna buy 1TH dragon / 1TH S2 antminer... Really need suggestion I can think before I sleep...

Try these guys: http://bit.ly/1oMIUVa They are much better than Antminers IMO.

final goxxing as the liquidation is proceeding?

the new info is on the website

my guess would be that people expect a 200,000 btc liquidation, some are hoping to front run and hope to buy back in on the panic sell.

Abundance of cheap coins, I welcome you wholeheartedly  Cheesy

And many believed it would take 2-3 yrs for liquidation to roll on, guess Mr kobayashi wants his legal fees to be paid ASAP:

"The bankruptcy trustee will implement the bankruptcy proceedings, in which the assets of
the bankrupt entity will be managed and converted into cash"

Wonder who'll buy them? I doubt they are going to stick them on an exchange.
195  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 23, 2014, 08:48:27 AM
Look, man. My post wasn't sarcastic. I was ACTUALLY asking you to make a comprehensive case. The fact that you respond by saying that I am "offended" and "dreaming" and "wrong" and offered no further bull evidence makes you look the like the one who is defensive and scared. Yeah, I made a bad trade at 475 that I admitted to. Does that make the bull case stronger? Of course not. That was on me, not the market. I didn't follow my own rules in that one particular case.

But you are the one that is coming across as desperate. I don't give a flying f*** if we go up or down from here personally. I was simply asking you to make a comprehensive case. But you seem only interested in congratulating yourself on catching this wave up. Whatever.

I think you need to work on your sarcasam skills.

desperate? me? I bought at 484, remember? Im pretty comfy. Im on a roll.

so you dont like your bad trades being poked at? hmm interesting. I haven't made any promises, so I really wouldn't feel the same. if you want to come poke fun at me in a couple of days ill be here, but at this rate, Im not going to forget this either.

Ive made a comprehensive case but you wouldn't remember the details. you seem to have made up your mind.

lol. whatever. I have about 100x times more at stake on exchanges than you do. Of course I care. I can't afford to have some unreasonable market bias.

I dont want to poke fun at you. That's the point. I was just hoping you could offer more comprehensive analysis. I won't ask again.

No need to argue, I think we can all agree that we want btc to continuously rise to significantly higher levels than we are at right now. I for one don't believe that the current market price is representative of the mass adoption that we have seen over the past few months. Yes we have had a fair share of bad news out of China, and a few other countries, but the amount of money being poured into the ecosystem developing new apps and btc businesses is not yet reflected in our prices. Once more of these startups are up and running, it is simple logic that we will see a ton more daily transactions, and therefore see higher prices.

Perhaps the market is not going to retest 340. But it certainly doesn't look like its going up.  Here we are, the day all the fresh fiat was suppose to carry us higher and we are drip drip dripping downward.

We may be in a slow grind to nowhere for a while.

I agree with your points but don't think new Fiat would have hit yesterday with the bank holidays, I did transfers to Kraken on Saturday and they haven't cleared yet and they are normally really quick.

nice sell wall stamp!

It's on Stamp, BFX, and BTC-E!

trying to bring down prices?

probably... but he should notice that wall is shrinking fast Smiley

I really hope that by the end of the month, we'll get back to 600+ and then rocketing higher and higher.

Being bought, or reduced by seller?

Does anyone have an estimated ETA on either version of Titan?  May? June? July? August? September? November? Next Year?

December

Realistically?  What percentage of probability would you say?

I would say 90+% it ships December or later considering their previous efforts.
Jupiter was supposed to ship September and shipped in October.
Neptune was supposed to ship Q1/Q2 yet still hasn't shipped and probably won't ship until after June even though according to KNC they are "on track", whatever that means.
If they really are "on track" then they knew from the beginning that they would not be able to ship Q1 and lied to everyone using the possible Q1 release date as a marketing scheme.

What ever happened to under-promise and over-deliver?
Them better be some 6th/s Neptunes.

Edit: I originally posted some information and an opinion, but forget about it! I don't know why I even try and speak sense in this thread. Anyone posting an opinion that differs to that of Avengers just gets it shoved down their throat. It's like Lord Of The Flies in here, I think this thread should just be shut down, or properly moderated.

My opinion Is Yes, Some Chinese people are cutting their losses and leaving, however I also think there's a degree of the drop Is people knowing that volume will be low because of Easter/bank holidays and taking advantage of this.

Also, like I've mentioned before, these news stories are still doing the rounds, just look at Social media. It'll take a few days for those to be forgotten about. Sentiment in the West seems to be picking up a bit, look at the surveys on here and Reddit, both indicative of a bullish, bit realistic sentiment.

I'm making no predictions, A./ my TA is shit, B./ I've just polished off my second glass of wine, but I do know that this weekend is a write off.

Both of those notices are 24 hours old, they caused yesterday's dip, not today's.
