181  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: January 07, 2014, 10:41:59 AM
Today would be 3 weeks from the latest initial shipping date (17. December).

Nope. If you entered into a contract you explicitly ruled out your right of stepping back of the contract. For that matter the customer protection plan was brought into life.

Very unprofessional indeed.

Their ToS/AGB don't matter when it's against the Swiss law. You can not justify a delay with a ToS.

See:
OR Art. 107
OR Art. 108 Ziff. 1 and 2
http://www.admin.ch/opc/de/classified-compilation/19110009/index.html#a107

I requested a full refund of my Bitcoins by registered letter on Friday, so far no answer. The miner is useless now for me.
I guess my lawyer will have to handle that now.
182  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: January 06, 2014, 01:37:08 PM
Bitcoin is a very long time in the ass ...

 Huh

Why do you not offer me your pre-order's ... if you have any  Grin

I guess you wouldn't pay him the same amount of BTCs he paid back then when the price was ~150$.
Anyway, they refuse to change the shipping address / transfer the account to someone else. If he lives e.g. in NZ and you in Switzerland, it will take some extra days if not weeks and additional shipping costs until you receive the miner.
183  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: libbitcoin on: December 27, 2013, 09:35:00 AM
Looks good, I'll try it.

Do you know RocksDB?  Facebook tooked LevelDB and made some improvements that it runs faster on system with less memory. Maybe you can find some ideas there too: http://rocksdb.org/
I don't understands DB internals, just read it in the news.
184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Polling] How much bitcoin do you have? on: December 26, 2013, 07:29:28 PM

185  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BOUNTY] 5000 mBTC to theBEST ways to target BTC people for my Twitter following on: December 25, 2013, 07:40:11 PM
So.. what happened to this?

This bounty was just to get more clicks for on this thread / more Twitter followers for the ads he can spread there later. I don't think this is a real bounty..
186  Local / Suche / Re: Programmierauftrag on: December 25, 2013, 01:32:53 PM

187  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Alt. to LocalBitcoins. Buy bitcoins from your social network on: December 24, 2013, 08:58:19 AM
And then we get the message: "Friendswithcoins got hacked" / "Bitcoins hacked" an all that bullshit again. That's bad press and easy to avoid.
If they want a webwallet point them to Blockchain.info/Coinbase, they have a big team of people looking for the security of their webwallets, which the OP probably doesn't have.

They don't have to download the Bitcoin-Qt client, better use Electrum or Multibit.
188  Local / Projektentwicklung / Re: Anfrage zu Wikipedia-Spende via Bitcoin on: December 22, 2013, 02:32:51 PM

189  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: December 21, 2013, 01:24:58 PM
Did they tell you they can produce 50 units/per day? Because in a email I've got from them at the 10.10 they said: "he delivery starts from 16th december, we estimate to be able to produce 10 units/day,"

50 or 10 is quite a difference. Huh
190  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Alt. to LocalBitcoins. Buy bitcoins from your social network on: December 21, 2013, 10:29:13 AM
Good idea, but remove the online wallet. I don't want my friends to use webwallets.

For later (when it's finished) you could also use the distributed identity&reputation database http://identifi.org/.
Other ways you have to trust Facebook a bit.
191  Local / Projektentwicklung / Re: Anfrage zu Wikipedia-Spende via Bitcoin on: December 20, 2013, 05:27:14 PM
Spende lieber dort. Scheiss auf Wikipedia
192  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BOUNTY] 5000 mBTC to theBEST ways to target BTC people for my Twitter following on: December 20, 2013, 09:16:25 AM
Buy them.
193  Other / Off-topic / Re: [FUD] China prohibits banks providing settlement services to Bitcoin Exchange on: December 17, 2013, 08:05:43 AM
Are you Chinese chsados?

So all it says that
1) Businesses aren't allowed to accept Bitcoins (we knew that before)
2) You can't use the Chinese Paypals anymore to fund your account
3) You still can deposit and withdrawal to BTCN etc.

I don't see a big problem here.
194  Other / Off-topic / Re: [FUD] China prohibits banks providing settlement services to Bitcoin Exchange on: December 16, 2013, 08:25:43 PM
We really need a Chinese translator we can trust and is known in the community how can translate this sort of stuff fast. This overreactions are so annoying.
195  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fast drop to 800 on: December 16, 2013, 08:23:27 PM
Don't listen to the guy above me. Never trust people who tell you what to do.
Isn't that sort of like telling people what to do?  Moron.

I don't people if they have to sell or not. It's his decision. That's what I meant. Moron.
196  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fast drop to 800 on: December 16, 2013, 06:19:43 PM
People sold so people start selling

Starting reason is the same like last time: Misunderstand information / FUD from China (bad translated etc.)

Edit: Don't listen to the guy above me. Never trust people who tell you what to do.
197  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: [CLR] - Aktuelles zum Copperlark aus Russland on: December 15, 2013, 07:50:14 AM
Dann kannst du ja verkaufen, deinen Gewinn einstreichen und in eine sinnvolle Cryptowährung investieren (also Bitcoin) Tongue
198  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I am going to lobby UK High St. retailers on: December 13, 2013, 12:46:20 PM
I agree with doof, better talk to small businesses first.
And add links where they can get more informations.

I'd also list the no-chargebacks "feature"
199  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: Musiker Anthro akzeptiert BTC als Donation on: December 12, 2013, 10:11:03 AM

200  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: Musiker Anthro akzeptiert BTC als Donation on: December 12, 2013, 08:58:21 AM
