I don't have that folder. I downgraded to 2.4, and it's not crashing in 2.4 - just the newer versions - such as 2.7.7. Doesn't seem to be a BFGminer issue.
That reply was to a different user. It's not a MultiMiner issue if BFGMiner is crashing - that's a BFGMiner issue. 2.7.7 is probably passing in different arguments than 2.4. Try doing some trial-and-error (using the Process Log) to figure out which argument is causing the error and report that to the BFGMiner thread. Thanks! It's just simpler to use 2.4 and hope it's fixed in the new BFGMiner update that they're working on. I was experiencing crashes after a few hours with 2.7.5 -> 2.7.7 on windows 7 I downgraded my .Net install from version 4.5.1 to 4.5 and it's stable now. hope this helps. Downgrading from 4.5.1 to 4.5 seems to have resolved my crashing issue. Prior to the downgrade I actually had both MuM and BFG crash on me. Thanks.

Please report any BFGMiner crashes in the BFGMiner thread - thanks! I'm not sure on this but Luke may be able to help. I downgraded to 2.4, and it's not crashing in 2.4 - just the newer versions - such as 2.7.7. Doesn't seem to be a BFGminer issue.

BFGminer's crashing on me again. Any idea what's causing it? I did just fire up a S1. I'm sending it's output to the Stratum server, rather than using the remote feature. I'd rather do that because it allows me to set pools for failover for this exact reason. I just did a fresh install of MuM about a week ago in prep for this to weed out any potential instabilities. Version 2.7.7

Just got a new S1 in the mail today. It came pre-installed with PCI-e power connectors on the board. It may no longer be necessary to buy PCI-e cables for these devices.

Even though the Bitmain AntMiner supports built-in Wi-Fi mining, to get the best out of the miner while running Wi-Fi at home, here is an easy solution for you and we tested it for over 24-hours and so far it’s working.
You can use any similar items to make it work. We picked readily available item at the US BestBuy Sotre. Netgear Model#: WNCE2001-100NAS. (Price was $49.99)
If you happens to be living in a dorm, apartment or wherever you can only access to the internet via Wi-Fi, this will make the Bitmain Antminer believe it’s connected to the wired Ethernet and this will not stress the miner.
Bandwidth use during the last 24-hours or more like 36 hours happened to be RX: 38.86 MB (161800 Pkts.) & TX: 14.68 MB (105524 Pkts.)
We purchased the above item to test it out with the Bitmain AntMiner and it worked!
Why would it matter if it is configured to use WiFi or not? Why would this 'stress' the miner?

iluvpics I have a quick question, will you be doing a group buy for the new AntMiner U2 sticks? I'm looking to possibly get a couple, and as I bought all my U1s from you, I would prefer to remain loyal if you will be running one.
This last batch was almost U2s. I think he's already ordered a couple of batches of them. When the arrive, I strongly suspect that he'll just use the same thread.

So, on one of my 49-port hubs I see this on bfgminer with 24 antminers. (I am also running 10 dualminers on the same hub) Is it normal to see 5%-25% HW errors on some machines? I see it's only 4/24 USBs that are giving me HW errors > 5%. Particularly the one that is 25% HW errors is concerning. img removed
the 25% error stick is most likely a dud in the making. I have had more then 200 of these pass through my hands. 3 died off. an error rate of 25% may mean it is dying off. try to find it and clean the part that enters the usb port. I use fine sanding pads wait for link http://www.grainger.com/product/3M-Sanding-Hand-Pad-4ZR94?functionCode=P2IDP2PCPthen give it a shot of air http://www.amazon.com/Fellowes-DUSTER-AIR-152A-2PK/dp/B0013CEQTKthen see what it does. also once cleaned try a direct port in your pc tHANKS, will try to cleanup and test again. Looks like it's the same USB, so probably not the port. Try in a hub by itself at a slower clock speed, on a separate mining session. I have some that were clocking 75% error at 0A01 (2100), when clocked at 0981 (2000), they behave perfectly. From my testing and others, anything higher than 0981 is not attainable without a voltage increase.

Thanks, I was pretty sure it was, but before I drop a grand, I figured I'd be best to check.

Two requests for you. - I know I asked for this previously, but please have MuM stop suggesting crappy coins. I've had it suggest coins that are 0.1% profitable. I would like to have push notifications on, but I don't like getting stupid coin SPAM (and it's useful to see what's profitable).
- Could you make it so that we can tell MuM to update to the latest version through MobileMiner?

Sometime this week I'm likely placing an order for two S1s. I just wanted to confirm that https://www.bitmaintech.com/ is the correct site to order these from, and not a scam site.

How do you get the HEX16A running with Multiminer? A simple advice would be appreciated, since I'm having one HEX16A2 in my hands (hopefully) today.
As I understand it, they're network miners, so there's two ways. - Point them at the Stratum Server.
- Let MuM automatically detect and control them.
From what I've seen though, I wouldn't use one. They seem to use more power than is worth it (from the number crunching I did they cost to run more than they produce).

Looks like mine are scheduled to be delivered today. Thanks for the quick work and excellent service once more.

May be unrelated to my previous crashes, but I got another one tonight - this time with BFGminer. Happened right after I started trying out a new coin for the first time - Benjamins.
Update: Yup, it doesn't like Benjamins - it keeps crashing. Switched off of it for now. Not sure if it's a MuM or BFG issue. I'm disabling the coin for now though.
Looks like somehow BFGminer became corrupt. It started doing it on other coins too. Deleted the BFGminer folder and let it re-download. Running fine since then. Spoke too soon, crashed again. I'm reverting back to 2.4 again. Update: I found the issue. I restarted the computer, and it re-detected one of my miners and assigned it to another port. No idea what was going on with it. Nope, still crashing on me. Today the entire application became unresponsive and stopped mining. No errors, just hung on "not responding".

I don't have any doubts about the OP. I should have been a little more clear. Based on the thread and people's responses (Hey philipma1957), I'd have no problem sending for an order. However, it is my opinion that a confirmation of remaining inventory is something easy to do and something that I'd rather wait for before ordering. Aye, but I imagine he'll give priority to those who've already paid him.

Based on what I've read from this thread, you seem like a trustworthy guy. I've PM'd you to see if you have enough left to fill an order. Can you let me know what you have in stock? I'll send for an order based on that.
Thanks in advance.
With stock the way it is, my advice is to just go ahead and place your order. If he can't fulfill it, he'll refund you, but at least your spot will be reserved. I sent him some BTC a few weeks ago when BitMain messed up, and he refunded it promptly when he couldn't fulfill.

I'm seriously considering buying an Antminer S1 soon, but there's one thing that's worrying me about using it with MuM. In theory, if I start using a S1, whatever pool I'm using will increase the difficulty to compensate. Would this not cause my U1s to mine at a difficulty of around 200? If so, would it not cause them to have issues keeping up?
