181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin loose its popularity? on: March 21, 2018, 08:12:47 AM
Bitcoin will not lose its popularity, instead, it might even gain it, lots has come against it but somehow it overcomes the hurdles. with news about it all over the place, the curiosity about it might attract more people to try it out
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Just RELAX, it will be OK! on: March 21, 2018, 08:09:02 AM

For those who held on this long, there is quite a lot to gain than lose. the red zone had scared most people into selling their cryptos, good for those who sold and made profits and good for those who bought cheaply, but those who held on to their currency, the harvest time i near, so as he said, relax.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The War has started. Crypto vs Giants on: March 21, 2018, 08:06:14 AM
Not all adverts are legit and this is a fact that we all know very well. That's why Facebook has banned cryptoadvertising. They want to clamp down on Fraud/Scam and slowly try to remove their options in scamming others.

This is quite true as there has been an out cry about scams where people lose lots of money to ilegit projects, i think Facebook is attempting to reduce scam other than fight crypto
184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fear of bitcoin on: March 12, 2018, 07:59:43 PM

Governments are threatened by the success of bitcoin and some consider it a threat to economic development. Their inability to regulate and tax bitcoin makes it even more difficult for countries to embrace its use.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will the market recover? on: March 11, 2018, 04:37:21 PM

the market is very unpredictable and has been very rough his year, but not all hope is lost, i believe its not at its worse and we still can afford to relax, it will recover, not now, not tomorrow, but it will get back to better days
186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin die, no more cryptos can alive. on: March 11, 2018, 02:56:13 AM

Most alts operate on their own and are free of Bitcoin. therefore i see no reason as to why they will go under when bitcoin , i think they will exist and still operate, maybe another coin will claim the top coin,  but they surely will not fade away just like that
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: March 11, 2018, 02:44:17 AM

Advertising Bitcoin on TV can lead to a wider reception and more awareness, the problem however is that bitcoin doesn't have a central controlling body which will be tasked with taking care of the advertisement costs, who then will incur the costs, if that's sorted then Bitcoin adverts can attract massive following.
188  Economy / Marketplace / Re: 1 Year in Cryptocurrency still no luck earning bitcoin. Need some real advice. on: March 10, 2018, 01:46:04 AM
Hello iamteody,
there are several ways:
-Mining, but since I know nothing about it, I cannot advice on this
-Gambling: this I cannot recommend, unless you know about sports betting, but it takes experience. Of course avoid casinos at all cost, unless you are a good poker player
-Affiliation: you can subscribe to affiliate programs and earn slowly by advertising via your affiliate URL (it can be any services related to Bitcoin)
-Signature campaigns: you need to be an active member on this forum, and you will be able to apply for signature campaigns. Earning will depend on your rank (Jr Member, Member, Full Member, Sr Member etc).
To be active, you need to post 14 posts in every period of 14 days, and your activity should go like this: 14 - 28 - 42 - 56 - etc.

Monitor this page to apply for signature campaigns > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0

Wish you the best.  Wink

Just another reason why i like this forum, very informative posts. Gambling in itself is very dangerous and not recommended coz chances of losing are way higher than chance of gaining.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's the point of tokens? on: March 10, 2018, 01:24:36 AM

Tokens represents a unit valuation of a certain asset. they can be used in transactions involving that particular asset. they tend to gain value overtime especially when the project is successful
190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy bitcoin now? on: March 09, 2018, 07:07:48 AM

No one can actually predict price changes , no matter how experienced they are, unless there are influences, which is not the case in BTC. this is currently one of the best times to buy BTC, the prices are low and might not get lower than it is
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Every cryptocurrency price is going down.... on: March 09, 2018, 06:57:50 AM

It a tough time for the crypto market. currently almost every coin is taking a dip, but i don't think its time to get worried, the markets will recover with time, just a little patience  and less panic till we get there
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it good time to buy BTC? on: March 09, 2018, 06:36:21 AM

BTC provides a very good investment opportunity, and now that the prices are low and people are panicking, its the best time to buy and hold, the market will recover and there will be better prices
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Homeless use Bitcoin on: March 09, 2018, 06:26:06 AM

Its a good thing for the homeless to be using bitcoins, but i think having a roof over ones head is more important. i really hope Bitcoin will help get them out of the cold and enable them get a good housing.
194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hold out or sell Bitcoin? on: March 07, 2018, 05:23:06 AM

I think holding BTC is the most appropriate way to go. Bitcoin has gone through a lot in the past few months but has started recovering, i believe this will continue and the value will go higher. i therefore think its wise to hold for long and stand to gain more
195  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: March 03, 2018, 12:15:55 AM

Apart from a few countries with legislation and legalization issues, BTC is already a global currency, once every nation accept the fact that its here to stay and embraces it, then there will be nothing stopping it from being global.
196  Economy / Economics / Re: how can bitcoin help the community? on: March 03, 2018, 12:09:34 AM
Bitcoin has provided and alternative source of income to most people, some going as far as making it their main source. it has therefore helped improve lots of peoples lives.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Are ETH's Biggest Competitors? on: February 24, 2018, 05:20:01 AM
its true ETH is a currency worth holding, other altcoins haven't quite been able to close the gap, but i too share the though that NEO might be strong in future, i also think waves has a great potential.
198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid bitcoin's end. on: February 23, 2018, 08:25:20 PM
First BTC is not coming to an end, caution should however be taken when investing in crypto, diversifying is the best way to protect oneself from total loss
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you afraid of hackers? on: February 23, 2018, 08:11:55 PM

Cyber crime has developed over years with hackers making away with crypto worth millions, but if you take care of your wallet and careful precautions then no need to fear
