I posted this a long time ago. Anyone who read it & used it should have saved themselves a lot of cursing and trouble. Apparently devs didn't read it. That is why they only had single webwallet, explorer, fortunately more than one pool. Also the main functionality promised is all there but very crude, mainly commands/interface to properly use voting & PoS pool & need a lot of work from devs. I hope that they will reveal there airdrop addresses in next announcement so that everyone involved is assured about there honesty. Also the lots of new features are not visible because they are not gimmicks like anon messaging or other useless features that are easy to use & can be hyped. These are mostly for governance & decision making so you need to understand how things work before you can use them. I personally will not stake or move my coins until i know how to use coin control, be it CLI or GUI. Some of the disappointment is justified but it doesn't mean coin is not working, its just half baked IMO. Although I still give credit to devs for technical competence, its just they didn't have enough people in community to help others out. I hope we get some good peeps with some PR skills and more people helping with guides/documentation. It seems that there was another verification where from 3244 confirmed participants they excluded another 10% from the airdrop so final airdrop participants number is around 2970 I see a lot of adresses with 5000 coins. Hearing stuff about the dev took the entire premine and gave away the airdrop coins on testnet instead of main. That's why the webwallet is still on testnet.
Lol where are you hearing these stupid things? Airdrops were included in the genesis block so what you heard is a simple lie Explain all the trouble people are having. And of course airdrops were included in the genesis block... on TESTNET! The coins that are trading on Bleutrade is their premine. Check the block explorer dude. It's all there. What problems i had no problem with importing the seed at all. Only if people would understand how to use a cli based on a detailed guide. Block explorer is on mainnet check your airdrop address it is credited on mainnet. I really think airdrop rule should've been minimal computer knowledge instead of just being an experienced internet explorer user |

No there won't be gui wallet ready for testnet launch. If you are awaiting that better try to figure out the command line wallet in the remaining hours What are you talking about testnet ? I am fairly certain that Decred is moving into Live version of the coin, so anything testnet related does not matter. I am also pretty sure a GUI version of the wallet will be up for the launch of the coin because not everyone can/wants to use a command line based wallet. Not having a easy to use GUI wallet would be stupid. Around 3h to go! Get HYPED  Sorry i meant mainnet and as i said no gui wallet will be available. You can use the web wallet for easy airdrop dump :p or if you want to mine or pos you have to use the command line wallet |

Decred is now free and open-source software! Final binaries for mainnet are also available. These are encrypted 7z archives and can be decrypted using a key announced upon launch (12:00 PM CST February 8th, 2016) - through a file archiver such as 7-Zip or p7zip. Announcement is here. That is very exciting news. I have already downloaded the wallet which will be ready to receive Decred once it is finally launched (mainnet) I wonder what exchanges will Decred be available on? If it turns out to be Bittrex or Poloniex then it would be great. Rumor says first one will be bleutrade and shortly after that(max few days) bittrex. Poloniex is possible too in a very short time |

With so many accounts bought and sold, would be risky, but if someone interested would like to escrow that is well known then there are no problems with that. You should contact well known escrows. With a brand new account and with that statement that only compiled windows binary will be provided resembles very much with a cheap scam where you will post here a walletbuilders compilled free coin because they do not provide source for free coins only windows binary. |

Thanks for the suggestions about the logo, we've made some change to make it better, when it's ready we will post it again.
For what concern hit more exchanges, we wrote to poloniex today,now the coin is one month old and everything is moving forward, before now was useless asking to poloniex to look litecred, they need fact more than words. If community will ask too we hope to receive some kind of positive answer from them.
It would be very nice to see ltcr at poloniex but as far as i can see lately they are not listing any new coins unless they are extremely popular. I am sending a request though towards them maybe it helps a bit |

for what I know there's no lock for 4 days for the coin sold during an ico, but there's a 4 day hold period for the BTC the ico made.
I mean, for 4 days the dev can't withdrawal the BTC the ico made. But there's no restriction for withdrawal or deposit for the coin itself for users that have bought it.
What means "outside dumps"? how can somone have coin outside the market? only with a premine. Will yobit add a ico coin with huge premine? I don't think.
As i said there are coins with pow paired with ico or hipos like here these are the outside coins. I didn't bought many icos but as far as i can remember most of them were with deposit restriction while the buy wall is up |

The thing that you could withdraw probably was an error. You can't rent to mine decred. There are no rentals that would support decred mining. |
